I've never been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fredshell.
Hey Tom, good morning, Hey, good morning. How's it going
do it okay? Man? Welcome to you waiting by the
phone trying to figure out if you may have been
ghosted by a woman named Aaron. We got all the
backstory that you got to tell us, how you guys met,
about any days you've been on, and then where things
are now right right right?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
So we met on Hinge. Aaron was really beautiful, was
super happy we matched to, asked her out.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
We were talking for a.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Bit and we went out on this date and in
the middle of the date, she says, hang out, have
to go to the bathroom. She gets up, she goes
to the bathroom, and then she just never came back.
She literally just ditched me by going to the bathroom
in the middle of the date. And I'm just sitting
there alone at the table for like ten to fifteen
minutes until I finally accept the fact that she's just gone.
So wow, need some help, I need some answers. I

need it resolved. It's really annoying. But you know, whatever
whatever happened whenever I did, I'll, you know, accept it.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
If I can just get an answer some accountability. You
hear that, Kiky, because he definitely did something. Wow, So
you were just you were truly left at the table.
I mean wow. I mean I've had somebody get up
and go to the bathroom anything. I know, I didn't
do anything. We'll see. I mean I did, but like
I wouldn't have any idea like this is you already

fight with me and I'm on your side. I don't understand.
But I mean I've had people get up and go
to the bathroom and it takes a little while, and
I'm like, I just get left. I've never been left
knock on wood, but I mean that would be really
I've thought about how would I get out of that?
Like how do you what did you say to the
server like oh, I don't know she had an emergency,
or like what did you do? How do you get
out of that?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I said, I'll take the check please, and that's it. Well, okay,
you can't like everyone knows. You can see the staff
like talking about it, right, right.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
So this woman left you sitting not even waiting by
the phone, waiting by the appetizer. You were just sitting
there waiting and you don't want to. You have no
idea what happened, and you're saying you didn't do anything wrong.
So let's call this swoman, Aaron. You'll be on the phone.
We'll see if we can get her on the phone.
We'll ask these questions. At some point, you're welcome to
jump in on the call, and the hope is that
we can straighten this out and set you up on

You planned a date, you went on this date, and

at some point during the date, she got up to
go to the bathroom and never came back. You don't
know where she went, you don't know what happened, you
don't know what you may or may not have done,
and you can't get a hold of her since then.
And you are obviously bothered by this, as most people
would be it's bugging you. You want to know what happened? Yeah?
I need I need some resolution. All right, let's call

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Thanks mam?

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Is it Karen? Yes, Aaron, hi eron good morning. My
name is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred's Show, the
Morning radio Show, and I have to tell you that
we are on the radio right now, and I do
need your permission to continue with the call. I said, okay,
if we chat for just a second on the show.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Oh goodness, okay, sure, thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
I know it's kind of startling, but we're calling on
behalf of a guy who says that he recently took
you out on a date. His name is Tom. Do
you remember Tom? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:27):
I remember Tom?

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Okay, So what happened? Because he called us and told
us that he had matched with you on a dating
app and that he liked you and was excited about it,
and that you went on this date. He says you
left him at the date You said you were going
to the bathroom. You left, and he hasn't been able
to get ahold of you. We didn't have any trouble
getting ahold of you. So what happened? What's your side
of the story.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
So, yeah, Tom and we met on Hinge and we
chatted for a bit and he seemed real cool, and
you know, he offered me to go on a date,
and I said, you know what, Charlott's do it. And
I know it's the dumb mistake of like accepting a
ride from him to pick me up, which you know,
red flag number one. I shouldn't let somebody know where
I live. That's on me. But you know, he on

the way to the restaurant, some guy cut us off,
and Tom got so unbelievably angry. He rolled down the
window like he reached into like his cup holder for
like loose change and started chucking it at the car,
and like was honking and screaming, and I was honestly terrified.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
This sounds a little bit like we saw just a
glimpse of this a minute ago. Okay, a tiny little
glimpse of this. So this man has some anger management issues,
you are saying.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
I mean, clearly, I was so scared sitting next to
somebody acting like that. I I it was not, I
just I as soon as he got to the restaurant,
I was like, I got hey and I dipped. I
was I was petrified.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Because you're wordy, Like this guy got so mad. He
had so much road rage. You know, like what's next,
What if we get in a fight or something. You
were worried. Let me bring Tom in. I forgot to
mention that Tom is here. I'm very forgetful. Tom. You
failed to mention the road rage in the car on
the way there. You left that part out.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
I didn't even think about it because I don't I
don't think it was that bad. Maybe maybe I got
a little road rage. Sometimes everybody gets gets a little
road rage sometimes. I mean, do think it was that
big of a deal?

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Tom, This must have been really bad, because yeah, I
think you're right, people get frustrated on the roads. But
it was so bad that she didn't. I mean, she
couldn't get out of the date fast enough, like she
was concerned about her well being. You were throwing change
at someone else's car like you could get shot.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Bro Right, you know when you drive like a pole,
then I'm I'm just doing the trying to help everybody
else on the road by correcting that really awful behavior.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Look at this man. This what I'm doing right now.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Because Aaron's not calling you act and and like red
flag for.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Me to pick you up for your house. I'm trying
to be nice.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
I'm trying to do is just be nice this entire time,
and now I'm getting accused of having a needing anger management.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
I feel like he's unraveling right now. Yeah, watch out. Yeah,
I'm downtown. Yeah, it's okay, Like I mean, but I
can hear it, like I I heard it in the
first part, and I can hear it right now. I
can hear you ramping up.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Honestly, like I truly regret letting you know where I live.
It's just kind of he was just temmy. You have
very frightening like you don't even your eyes like gloss over,
Like you don't look like you're you're very scary.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Eyes gloss over. I'm driving, okay, I'm keeping an eye
out on the road.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
There's it.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
It's all over the road. The traffic in the city
is crazy. I'm trying to keep it safe. That's all
I'm trying to do.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
I don't feel safe. Change your number. We're changing ours
to the show Glass you know.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
What, I'm never listening to the show again.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Okay, So how about that, Yeah, that we were trying
to help you, and now you're yelling at us, and
for some reason, I'm smiling. I don't know. I probably
shouldn't be. I need someone who escort me to my
car to apologize to this man for cutting him off
the other day. I mean you, you always do stuff
and then you say sorry out loud in the car,
as if the people can hear it. She says she
was sorry to.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Wave.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
I waved, I gave the waves. Okay, hey, look, Tom,
you scared her. I don't know, you're scaring us a
little bit. I can definitely hear it in you, the
propensity to get a little bit upset. And the fact
is she doesn't know you, and she doesn't know if
this is how you deal with everything, or just stress
on the road, or if you were nervous. She doesn't know.
And you got to understand that that would be frightening

to a lot of people, and they probably try and
get out of that situation.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Well, I hope you, I hope you'd accept that I
was just maybe having a bad day and not really
not that bad of a guy.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
All right, Well, see you hear that, Aaron, he was
just having a bad day. He's not that bad of
a guy. Says him, So there you go. Yeah, okay,
all right, buddy. You know what's all. I can't help you.
I mean, I don't really want to help you, but
I can't even if I tried, So, Aaron, I won't
even ask the question. I'm sorry this happened to you,
and I don't blame you for not wanting to go

out with him again. And Tom, take a deep breath. Man, like,
you can't act like this. I don't. I don't know
if you're a crazy person or you just are nervous
or anxious. I really don't know, but you can't act
like this in front of people. Be careful what I except?

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Now, you're right, you're right, you're right, you're right.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Okay, would you.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Mind asking her the question? Do you mind asking her
the question? I called him here? If you'd ask her
for a second? D do you mind ask her for
the question?

Speaker 1 (08:32):
I don't think. Yeah, I don't think I need to
ask the question. I think that I think it's kind
of established. Yeah, we're not letting her. Yeah, yeah, Aaron,
even if you did want to go out with him,
and I know you don't, you're not, so we're not

Friend? Friend? Anyway? You with me? Tom, I don't know
what's wrong with you. Are a great man, you drive

I'm sorry to re expose you to this, and now
we have our answer. Hopefully he'll leave you alone. If
he doesn't, let us know. We know people, we know
law enforcement. We have Paulina to enforce as well, so
it'll be fine.
