Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show. Bryce,
good morning, welcome to the show.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Oh, thank you very much, good morning.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
We're happy to have you waiting by the phone. Is
what we call this, trying to figure out why you
may have been ghosted, Bryce, So why don't you fill
us in? Tell us about Sabrina, how you met, about
any dates that you've been on, and then where you
guys are now?

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Sure s sure?

Speaker 4 (00:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
So I'm Brenna on Rumble and I'm kind of like
a like you know, the momentum can can go downhill
if you talk too much. So I was pretty much beated.
I thought she was huge just being nice over the messages.
I was the media like yo, let's grab let's grab dinner,
and so like she seemed all about that. So we

(00:45):
met up and like honestly had a good time. Like
we just kind of like kept like chatting. It turned
out we had a time to talk about it just
seemed like like kind like kind of a good girl,
you know.

Speaker 5 (00:59):
Jerry, very sweet, like a little bit demure, and I
don't know, I'm not like used to that, like a
lot of like women I meet her a very forward.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
I kind of do like you're kind of well, so
I say, they're like, you know whatever. Anyway, So I
like had a great time, and I'm like, honestly, I've
never been ghosted before, but after the night ended, I
was kind of like, oh yeah, for sure, like second
date that you can't wait to go on, like really
want to get or.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Know her more.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
And I have not heard a word sense and I like, honestly,
I can't. I can't think of like what what it
could be.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Yeah, you seem perplexed here.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
I mean it's like most women they kind of fall
for you, or they they maybe they compete for you,
is kind of what I hear you saying. You're just
not used to somebody not being uh super forward by
seeing you again.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Yeah, yeah, no, I'm here a catch.

Speaker 6 (01:56):
I mean, you know, like I'm doing the best year
and usually yeah usually, yeah, I don't.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
I don't have a problem with this, So I guess
thank you know, that's fair, first time for everything, right,
but not a.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Fan of it.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
And I figured, you know, i've heard you guys help
people out before. I figured you could help me out.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Yeah. Okay, so let's call this one.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Her name is Sabrina, and you guys went out and
we'll see we can figure out what's going on. You know,
maybe she's been busy, maybe she's not been feeling well,
maybe something's going on in her life. Hopefully, whatever it is,
we can straighten it out and then we'll set you
up on another date and we'll.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Pay for that.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
All right, for sure, this sounds great.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
I'm gonna play one song and then we'll come back
and do it. Hang on, let's find out what happens next.
Part two of Waiting Metaphony in two minutes after this song.
The French Show's on here. It's The Frend Show. Good morning,
thanks for waking up with us on the radio, and
the iHeart app anytime search for The Frend Show on demand. Bryce, Yeah,
all right, welcome back. Let's call Sabrina. You guys, you
met un Bumble the dating app. You kind of were

(02:50):
aggressive about getting together with her because you kind of
have to be truthfully on these apps, like you got
to move fast otherwise you get lost in the shuffle.
So you went out. You felt like things would well,
except you haven't been able to get a hold of
her sense and you're not used to that. You feel
like most women are responsive to you in this case,
though she's ghosting. It looks like and you want to
know what? Yeah, exactly right, let's call her now. Good luck.

(03:21):
Hi is this Sabrina. Hi, It's Fred from the Fred Show.
Everybody's here if I'm starting to bother, but I do
have to tell you that we are on the radio
right now and I need your consent to continue with
the call. Can we talk for a couple of minutes?
I guess, well, thank you very much. We're calling on
behalf of a guy named Bryce who says he met

(03:42):
you on bumble and you guys went out for dinner.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Do you remember? Oh?

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Okay, you know the guy gross? Gross? Okay, so why
is he gross? Because I will tell you that he
described it was a very different story from him. He
thought it was a successful date, and he likes you
a lot and was hoping to see you and says
you and I responding, So what what happened on your end?

Speaker 7 (04:04):
So at the beginning of the date, I asked him,
so tell me about yourself so we could get to
know each other. And the first thing he said was
how much money he makes, which is around two hundred thousand.
Oh and he didn't really have much more to say
about himself. It's obviously a lot of money, but it
should be like one of the first things you say

(04:25):
about yourself on a first date, like, oh, this was
my salary. I'm a hush back.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
He told me. Wow.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
So he didn't even tell you like what he did
or anything. He just was like, you say, tell me
about yourself, and he goes, I make two on a grab.

Speaker 7 (04:37):
Oh well, he kind of did say it in different variations,
like instead of saying exactly how much he made a year,
he brought it up a few more times and said, well.

Speaker 6 (04:47):
It makes six figures.

Speaker 7 (04:48):
So no, it was just such a turn off.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
It was justugh, that's crazy growth for a first date.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
I'm in a relationship for two years and I don't
even know how much my partner makes.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Really yeah, interesting, okay, all right, let me bring let
me bring Bryce. I'm sorry that Bryce. I forgot to
mention that Bryce is here. I always leave that part out.
It's just like, get forgetful, I get forgetful. You know
what I mean? Bryce?

Speaker 3 (05:13):
What we're doing?

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Man? Like, I think doesn't everybody know that there are
a few topics that are not you know, they're just
not really appropriate to talk about, you know, money, religion, politics.
I mean, it's just what's you don't talk about how
much you make?

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Yeah, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that, like hard work
and success is such a turnoff.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
Oh my god, I like, why why should I like
not say something about something.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
It's actual that we were having an honest conversation.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
I'm not interviewing for like alone, what it usually damnier
works all the time.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Well, but hold on, you say it works, but I
mean it works for what here you are single, It
works for girls that are after you for money, I guess,
but it probably turns a lot yeah off too like
people who aren't after you for money, exactly.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
Like I No, I've been in I've been in relationships
that have been great Like yeah, no, apparently.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Right now, but that happens, like young guy in the city, Like,
I'm sorry, I'm not gonna get tied down right away.
It's usually my choice.

Speaker 7 (06:11):
I literally know nothing about you except how much money
you freaking make. It does not seem a little odd
to you that we went for the whole dinner, Like.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
The dinner that we had and the drinks that I
bought that like, we're not like, no one earning like
less than six figures is going to that place.

Speaker 7 (06:29):
Like, let me tell you something, talking about money is
gross to me.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Well, then there you go.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
If nobody making less than six figures is eating at
that place, so you don't have to tell her. You
don't even have to take as you should already know
because it was a boogie place. So so I don't
know why you have to tell her how much you
make unless you're insecure, unless you have I mean, bryce,
thank you. It would come off like you have nothing
else to offer but how much money you have, which
is if that's not true, then I don't know why
you lead with it. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Yeah, you guys have listened to me. Does it seem
like I have nothing else to offer?

Speaker 3 (06:58):
I'm just like letting it.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Like a complete package.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Well, I mean a complete package.

Speaker 7 (07:03):
What else is there?

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Because I don't know see your dollar signs.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
I mean you sound like a enough guy, but like
you you if that's all you're talking about is how
much money you have, then I mean I would think
there's nothing else there.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Saying yeah, like I don't have like a ton of
hobbies and stuff because I'm like you know, working my
ass off to make a ton of money in order
to like eventually like like support a family someday, you know,
to like like go on nice trips. Like, yeah, I
work hard, but I and I and I'm proud of it,
and I'm proud of how much I make. But it's
also like, you know, it's going to do good stuff

(07:39):
in the future.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
I feel like you could say all that if you
really wanted to, you could say all that and notice
none of that included what's on your W two.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Right, Yeah, I like, not all six figures are made
the same by you know, two hundred thousand and one.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
It ain't. No, that's true. I don't know about either.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Okay, Well, look Sabrina, he's got another chance. I mean,
so now he's aware that that was the wrong approach.
It sounds like it's an approach it's worked for him
in the past. But I mean, would you consider another date?
Obviously he's got the money, we're not paying for it anymore,
so I'm not because he got two on a grand
so he doesn't need arma.

Speaker 7 (08:18):
No, I think that you need a different girl that
cares about that. I don't, Okay, you know, I care
about quality not quantity.

Speaker 6 (08:27):
Clearly, you're intimidated by my income and my success clearly.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
Yeah, it's very cool.

Speaker 7 (08:32):
Oh yeah, super intimidated.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
All those little k oh and it's a pope.

Speaker 7 (08:42):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
Yeah, grow up, you're grown dude. All right.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Hey, look that's the books of both of you. It's
not going to work out. Thank you for your time. Yeah,
Kaylin has the entertainer of for that's next, trending stories
if we have time, fun fact for sure.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
All coming up, it's the French Show back into minutes
