Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show.
Hey Antonio, good morning, welcome to the program.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Hey guys, how's going.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Yeah, man, We're glad to be here, glad to be
talking to you. You know, we're helping people out here.
I consider this a public service. I don't know if
we get credit for that, but what we're doing here
is trying to help people. And no one likes to
be ghosted. No one likes to sit around wondering why
the person they like is not calling them. And I
guess that's what's happening now, Antonio, So give us the
backstory here and get kind of catch us up as

(00:32):
to where we are right now.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
So I met Mallory on Bumble, you know, I sent
her a few messages and we were, you know, hitting
it off. I felt like, and then I decided to,
you know, shoot my shot so speak. So we ended
up going out and I was a total gentleman. Everything
was great. I felt like, and now all of a sudden,

(00:54):
she's ghosting me.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Okay, And you look back, you think about this date
and you feel like it went smoothly. You left feeling confident.
You're like, wow, this is a great connection. This is
gonna work out.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Yeah, I even make sure she got home safely, and
like everything, I don't know. I can't think of anything
that would have possibly made her not want to call
me back or respond to my messages.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Yeah, okay, well, let's we'll see if we can get
Mallori on the phone since she's not responding to you,
and if we can, then we're gonna ask some questions.
You'll be on the phone too. At some point you're
welcome to jump in and hopefully whatever's going on here,
we can straighten it out and get you guys set
up on another date that we will pay for, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
All right, Yeah, I'm curious to see what the deal is.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Okay, give me a couple of minutes, Gonna play one
song and then we'll come back and do it. All right, cool,
let's find out what's going on for two of waiting
by the follow right after Brunell Mars back in two minutes,
stay right here as the Freend Show. It is the
Freend Show on the radio and of course on the
iHeart app, You and Improved make us a presept by
the way, search for the Freend Show on to Man.
Good morning, Antonio, Hey guys, all right, welcome back. Let's

(01:57):
call Mallory. You guys, went on a date. You thought
it wins smoothly. You're thinking back on it. This is
someone you wanted to see again, you thought you would.
You've reached out for another date and you're not getting
any response from her, and it's bugging you as it
would most people. And you want to know why.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Yeah, I have no idea what I could have possibly done.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Oh okay, they never do, They never do, Antonio. But
let's call her now. Good luck. Hi is this Mallory Mallory?
Good morning. My name is Fred and the whole cruise
here from the French show. I'm sorry to bother you.

(02:36):
I do have to tell you, though, that we are
on the air right now and I would need your
consent to continue with the call. Did okay if we
chat for just a second. Yeah, I know it's awkward
and I'm sorry to catch you off guard, but I'll
get right to it. We're calling on behalf of this
guy who says you went on a day with you.
His name is Antonio.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, okay.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Well, Antonio reached out to us, told us that he
thought he had a successful date with you, liked you,
was hoping to see you again, but you're not responding
to him at all, So I guess there's another side
of the story.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Then, Yeah, I can't do it, Okay, can't.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Why Like, once you fill us in, then we'll fill
him in and then you know, he'll stop calling.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Okay, Well, I don't know, it sounds kind of petty,
but yeah, so we went out, and you know, he
seems like a nice guy or whatever, but he's got
like the most annoying habit and I just couldn't get
over it.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Okay, well you know, I got to know what's the habit?
What's the up to?

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Yeah? Well, so every time and something that he thought
was funny, he would he would just stop and say
he wait what literally literally every time like.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
What like instead of laughing yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Instead of laughing, which would also have been and you know,
constantly laughing yourself is weird enough, but instead of doing that,
he literally said he he t he yah yah. I
tried so hard to get over it. I couldn't want
it was it was very distracting and like.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
What the hell?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
And I forgot to mention, I'm sorry, Mallory interrupt you,
but Antonio is here. Uh, and we spoke to him
for a little while and he didn't say t he
one time, but I guess he didn't think he was
funny at that time. Sorry to you know, I always
forget that part to let people know about it. But Antonio,
is that something that you do. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
I don't know what what the big deal is, first
of all, and I don't see why she would even
I don't. I don't do that.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
You don't.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Seriously, yes, you do. Every single time you said something
you thought was saying it wasn't even funny. Most of
the time. You're not a very funny guy, but you
would say t he you know.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
You do this. I feel like now you're doing not
doing it on purpose because you write. I feel like
now you're trying not to do it.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I mean I when I laugh, I laugh, it might
sound like te.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
But say something funny until you come on, Yeah, I
mean say something because I want to hear if you
say te now, he's not going to do it because
we were like giving him a hard time about it.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
So you would be like, hey, dad walks into a bar.
T I know, like that's what you would do. No,
one's to do this before.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
No, nobody's ever mentioned this before.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
No, we're not gonna get him to do it because
he's like under the magnifying glass year. But uh, okay,
so he has this thing, it's like a crutch or whatever,
and he says t he and you don't you don't
think you can be with someone like that, Mallory, I can't.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
It's so annoying, Like you don't even understand.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
I mean, I don't.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
I wish I could like had.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Recorded or something, because that would you had to.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Like a lot.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
It's a lot. Yeah, you know, if you had an
annoying crutch this or something you said over and over
and over again, I can see why I can't communicate
with you like this for the in my life. T
like O L left everything, yeah l o l uh
yeah that Yeah, that wouldn't work for me either. Okay,
so you're you swear Antonio like she was on a

(06:12):
date with some other guy, Like, this is not a thing.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
I mean, if I do it, it's an involuntary thing.
And I don't even realize that, Like I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
I'm waiting for him. I feel like he's controlling himself.
I really do I really do. I feel like he's
stopping himself. Tell him a joke, Tell him a joke.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
When he says something, it's like he said something he
thinks it is funny.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Make us laugh a little.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
Yeah, tell us a joke, Antonio, say something funny.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Yeah, say something funny.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
I do not take that.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
There here, there it is. He was like he had
under control until this part of the call. All right,
oh boy, all right, so I don't have there's not
going to be a second date, Mallory. There's no way
we can. I mean because he will went about five
minutes without saying and so he cannot do it.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Or he wasn't trying to be funny or charming or anything. No,
he like was doing it every too much. It was
it was way too much.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Yeah, sorry, Antonio, there you go. It's not going to
work out. We've heard petty reasons, We've heard crazy reasons.
This one. She can't get over it.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Yeah, I guess that's something. That little is going to
stop her from seeing people. She'll never find anybody if.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
She's going to miss out on the great uh Antonio
and all the jokes and the ts and yeah, the
fun that is you the ball of fun. That is
Antonio that I guess that's her loss. So guys, thank
you for your time, best the luck to both of you.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Thank you, Thank God.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Caln has the entertainment of for next one hundred and
