Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
So the interview that everyone's been waiting for, or at
least I've been waiting for. I got to talk to
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who, yes, what year is this?
I know, but they are back in the news sadly
because they lost their house in LA with the fires.
And we talked about that. We talked about rebuilding, and
we talked about the fact that they're going for number
one on the Billboard charts with a song from fifteen

(00:23):
years ago that Heidi Montag made.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Yes from Nails, check it out.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Don't let the gray like throw you off or give
away my age, But like an early twenty something me
is kind of freaking out inside right now that I
get to talk to you guys.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
I'm sorry about the circumstances, but this is kind of
coo cool.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Well, thank you for you know, carrying it all, so.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
We'll take it. We're looking at for owing wins at
this point.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I mean, for the people who don't know, can you
kind of quickly walk us through. I know it's probably hard,
but I mean, unfortunately you lost your house in these
LA fires. I mean, how long did you have to
get out? How long did you know this was going
to be an issue for you, were you able to
take anything with you? Because I hope nobody ever experiences that.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
But what's that like?

Speaker 5 (01:02):
Yeah, I mean you still all day long, Like this morning, Heidi,
like I was in an imaginary mood driving to coffee
and I was like, if only I had a truck,
and if I had a truck, and then you know,
you start just playing all these games of like what
you could have got more because I have a smaller
car and I filled it up, and you know, we
should have left even earlier than we did. But we've

(01:22):
evacuated a few times since we lived there in the
Palacides our lives, and it's more just precautionary, so you
just get kind of like, you know, you get some stuff,
but you're not evacuating. You'll never see anything ever again.
So we were kind of stalling out like oh, this
isn't that bad. As we weren't watching the news because
our son had one hundred and four degree temperatures so

(01:43):
I didn't want to change the channel. So he's watching
some kids movie and I'm like put the news on,
and she's like I'm not. He's sitting here, So we
just think the fires in the back of our mountains
behind us. We don't realize it's already wrapped down and
coming around us, and people are now trapped in their
cars and running to the ocean and leaving cars, and.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
So we didn't even know what level it was.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
So thankfully we were there longer than we should have
been and got you know, more of the kids clothes.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
But no, we didn't. We didn't know we would never
be back.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Is there a work where you go back there? Do
you want to rebuild there? Or do you you know,
what's kind of the attitude about you know, the folks
you and the people live near you, your family who
live near you. I mean, do you do you want
to start over somewhere else? I mean, how do you
approach that?

Speaker 1 (02:27):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
It's it's challenging. Like a part of me thinks, okay,
maybe this is our time to like, we could go
somewhere else, we could do something else. But also we
work in La. You know, Spencer's from La. So if
we were to go somewhere else now, it's definitely the time.
But in general, everyone you know wants to be back
and loves that community and lives there.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
To be a part of that.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Community where really, you know, we have a lot of
friends there and it's definitely a little safe haven from LA.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
If there is a good thing to come out of this,
it's the fact that we get to celebrate Heidi's music career,
the fifteen year anniversary of Superficial.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
It's wild.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
I mean, we're playing the song on our show in
four different cities. You know, we're it's number one on iTunes.
But I also read that you know you don't get
rich from that? Is that what I read today?

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Well, that's what people.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
I don't know because we've never had a number one album,
But everyone in the comments section is like this, not
even money is no money in music, it's in the merchandising.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
And I disagree.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
I'm my goal is to keep trying to get rich
off of streaming, and I hope they're wrong, but we
were like, that's not where money is.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
But no, I disagree.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
We're going to keep I think we just need to
get to the billion stream world where the you know,
the weekend and these people are because they look like
they look pretty well off.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
So because that's the thing I don't and I love
the look on your face.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
I I don't think people knew of all the different
things that you have done that you necessarily had this
music it's fifteen years old.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Did you think when.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
You made it, like, hey, I'm going to be Taylor
Swift or something or that would be out streaming Tailor's
with fifteen years later. Was that ever part of your
mindset during the time.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yes, I definitely thought I was going to be the
next Lady Gaga because I just performed after her on
this universe and we were in talks for TV shows
with different networks, and I definitely thought I was going
to be catapulted into the Ashley Simpson Jessica Simpson world,
or I hoped at least. And then, you know, time
went by and I thought, Okay, maybe maybe this dream

(04:26):
is you know, time to focus on something else. But
I'm really thankful for it for whatever reason, and that
people have really supported us and our family through this
and to really rise to that occasion and you know,
to support us like that is unbelievable and I just
can't thank everyone. I can't thank you, you know, enough
for continuing to do that because we have a long

(04:49):
road ahead and we just really continue to appreciate that
because every stream does make a difference. Every purchase does
make a huge difference, and regardless, it helps our souls
and our eventually.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
For the people that watched The Hills that thought you
were the villain, you're writing so hard for your wife,
it's amazing to see this is not villain material at all.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
People still don't understand that The Hills was fake and
they paid us so much money to do whatever they
wanted us to do, and technically I was riding for
at the time because I was doing whatever it took
on that show for us to have more money for
our lifestyle and at that time putting actually all of
our money into this album that's happening now. So that's
how much I wrote for her Back then. I believed

(05:31):
Heidi was going to be a global pop star right
when I met her on the dance floor at Club Privilege.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
The last question I have, because it's viral right now,
is this Alex Cooper stuff. You know, there was the
clip of you on call her Daddy?

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Was that his I'm.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Confused because she disrespected you, I thought, and you stood
up and walked out, and then it's like, well, why
aren't you helping us promote this thing was that a stunt?
Like was that were you messing around? Or are you
guys really friends? Or like what's what's the real?

Speaker 5 (06:00):
So when she initially asked on that, like, hey, can
I do this skit with you? And she said all
that stuff to get my reaction was kind of like
a way for her to say that stuff without.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
Like having a real problem. So then I was like, Okay.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Then I did my skit back and she didn't use
that because mine.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Was as real as what she said. And then she's like,
can you do that again? Maybe?

Speaker 5 (06:20):
Like so she made me do a take too, and
I was fine with it because I was like, uh,
you know, people will listen to the podcast. What I
didn't get is nobody actually listened to the podcast. They
just saw the clip of her saying all these things
about me. So regardless of that, you know, it is
what it is. Since then, I've been a supporter and everything.
And so when this all happened and I'm messaging every

(06:40):
single person in my contact, I please, when any support
we get, just use this TikTok sound.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
And she didn't respond and she kept that.

Speaker 5 (06:47):
I kept my message that she finally wrote like we
have a lot of people displaced at her house.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Right now, a lot going on.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
So I text her husband like, Hey, we don't have
a house and my parents' house burned down, and when
did every stream and support we can get really need
this And then he's like, I'll let her know, and
they never did, And then people were messaging me, hey,
they just re uploaded your episode on YouTube where she's
monetizing now like our tragedy and getting money off it.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
So then I went like, I did lose it.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
On TikTok is when you don't sleep when your house
burned down, your emotional and comments sections getting you worked up.
So I've since dialed it down and I've moved on
and I'm not going to like focus on those type
of things because they are taking me off of the
track of Heidi Global pops are selling music, getting aroun
on the Billboard, and I need to not.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Worry about people that aren't part of the movement. But
it was for a minute there I was I was.
I was hurt by it because I felt like we
had a rapport.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
I've supported her brand and her merch and Heidi wears
it on tag it, we post it, I share articles
when she's on something you know, so it was kind
of like dang.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
And then eventually a week later she.

Speaker 5 (07:54):
Does like a post not even with her in that
just writing that nobody's reading and puts like the slow
down version that no one's sharing of Heidie's song is
like the look I did it.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
It's like, come on now, that ain't it.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
And on that note, we're going to stay positive. We're
here here for you guys.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
I hope you'll keep in touch, add me to your
contact list because you know we'll have you on anytime
you want. We'll play it whatever song you want. How
do people buy the stuff?

Speaker 5 (08:18):
All of our bios have a link tree. Shout out
link tree if you're in New York link tree. Put
a Heidi billboard in Times Square, so that's unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
So everything's in the link tree.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
Everyone says radio is most important, so help us get
number one on Billboard. And then obviously when Heidie Win's
a Grammy, we won't forget to shout you out.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
We'll come back on.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Come back on with the Grammy.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
That will not be forgotten that you said that. All right,
it's super simple, walk it in. Hey, guys, thanks for
being cool about all this and taking the time. I'm
sure you're exhausted and kind of over it, but we're
going to we're going to keep the movement going for
you and keep in touch and obviously you know, we
all wish you the best here.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
Thank you so much for your time and it helps
so much.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
It's the French show. Good morning, every one, time to
play kick.

Speaker 6 (09:06):
Real shot out Lady Gaga for opening up for me.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Yeah, yeah, Gaga opened for me a great interest. It
was on purpose. Amanda, Hi, Amanda.

Speaker 7 (09:19):
Hi, good morning, good morning, welcome.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Tell us about you please.

Speaker 7 (09:24):
Well, I just shopped off my oldest son at school
and just came back inside where it's nice and warm.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Right right? What is your son's name?

Speaker 7 (09:33):
Just killing me? My son said my dog?

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Oh they say dog, what is your son? Or whatever?
I don't know what I'm saying half the time. What
is your son's name?

Speaker 7 (09:43):
My oldest son is Austin. And then I'm back home
with my daughter. Emma, okay, every morning likes to yell
gorilla with you.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
I love that.

Speaker 7 (09:53):
We're a nice quiet ride to school.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
I love that. Though. Where's Alan?

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Though?

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Is that is Alan?

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Around?

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Is Alan? There is in kidney? Is anyone named Alan
there this time.

Speaker 7 (10:02):
I think of Alan. Now I think of the Barbie movie.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
I'm like, oh, I don't know if there was an
Alan in the Barbary I said, an't yeah, yeah, the friend. Yeah,
because I only know I only I only rock with Ken.
I only rock with Ken. That's me, you know, identified
as Alan. I.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Oh, well, let's let's play the game in three songs.
I'm gonna start the song. I'm gonna stop the song.
Kiki has to get the next two lyrics right or wrong.
And you all you have to do is tell is
whether you think she will get them right or wrong.
When I stopped the song, so Hills. But I know
it's a rude question, Amanda, But may I ask how
old you are?

Speaker 7 (10:41):
I am thirty eight, So yeah, I watch I was
a Hills girly perser.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
Okay, perfect then, so that you can appreciate this.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
So we had Hidi and Spencer a little while ago.
Their house burned down in la Very sad. They're trying
to boost Heidi's music career yet again, and it's going
pretty well. Actually, I don't know about a billion streams
like they're hoping for, but they have a lot of
streams and so in honor of them.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
It's a Hills playlist today on Kiki Karaoke.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
The first song Natasha betting Field Unwritten, Oh Okay, which
was the theme song to the show Natasha betting Field Unwritten.
Do you think that she will get this right or wrong?
When I stopped the.

Speaker 7 (11:20):
Song, oh, I can't wait to hear her Ra's remusicians.
But I'm going to say no.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
She's a man. Say no.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
She's saying, we're going to the store, which is where
we do. This is where we tend to go when
she doesn't know, Let's see a Monday fin I'm going.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
I'm just.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
Depends in.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Giving.

Speaker 6 (11:49):
It is staring at the blank page before you open
up the dirty window.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Let the sound a new you cannot find reach version.

Speaker 6 (12:01):
The distance so far, I can almost taste this bio rainy.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
So far, I can almost taste it. It's so far
away I think it was to me. This is a
banger reel the rainal yo.

Speaker 6 (12:28):
No one else can't feel it for you, only you can.
No one else, no one else can speak the words
on your lips, not cord with you.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
I like your version of the song better, So thank you,
thank you.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
No one else can speak the words on your lips.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Oh my god. Alright, so you got that one right?

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Actually, oh yeah, but that's all right, of man, because
we got two left. The next on the Hills playlist,
this is more of a Laguna Beach one, but it
is Hillary Duffy coming clean.

Speaker 6 (13:10):
Hmmm.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Do you think she will get this right or wrong?
Of course?

Speaker 2 (13:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (13:15):
That's that's tough. I know, I don't know. But just
so you know, my daughter was jamming to your song, Teky.
I'm gonna I'm gonna say, do you think yes or no?

Speaker 4 (13:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Okay?

Speaker 7 (13:28):
Imna shook her head.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
No, smart, smart, I'm a little Oh no, we do
have it.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
I was scared. I was like, do we not have it?
How can that be? How can that be? Sort of
pop radio station?

Speaker 3 (13:38):
Is this?

Speaker 1 (13:38):
Of course we have it? Okay, she said right, she
said no, she said no, no again, Okay, okay.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
I was too busy looking through the CDs. I had
to look for the final this the cassette single.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
I know. I had to find it the tape player
to be able to play this. Okay.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
And by the way, there are people listening now who
have no idea what I'm talking about and I'm not
that old. This makes me said, Okay, she said, no,
let's see how this goes.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
All right, well, all right, let's go back.

Speaker 4 (14:10):
To the beginning.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Yes, the sun Star.

Speaker 6 (14:19):
All right, wait, wait, wait, let's go back back to
the beginning.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
That's what we're doing.

Speaker 6 (14:28):
I could find the words to sing you a song
and now and we're going, oh the way to the
story day because I want to sing to you, my
man in blue.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
I can't go back, are you okay? I want to
go back to the beginning. Ja the Square ried about
the last song that was another banger.

Speaker 6 (15:05):
Though the rain, the rain falls out over me, away
my sanity, because I want to feel the thunder.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
I want to.

Speaker 6 (15:21):
Scream, let them fall down, come over, I'm coming clean.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
I feel dirty after hearing something's over me over you.
I don't know what's happening.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
You're the whole chorus. To get to that part, well,
I'm trying to make it a little more challenging. But
she needs that. I don't need a challenge. Okay.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
The final song and this this I really am concerned
about here. But chorus, man, I think I will give
you the chorus. But Amanda, so so far you have
to get this right in order to win. Uh, and
I think it's a pretty safe bet and opinion. I'm
sorry kicking Okay, good Charlotte. Oh yeah, it's a song
called then. Oh I loved Charlotte.

Speaker 7 (16:06):
What a classic.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
Indeed, do you think she'll get this right or wrong?

Speaker 7 (16:13):
No?

Speaker 6 (16:15):
No, she says, no.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
Okay, let's see what happens here. Let's see shout out
to Charlotte. This is gonna take him minute.

Speaker 6 (16:22):
Come on, if your name is Charlotte, put hands on okay,
put ch hands on a wheel. But you know.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
It all feels a good life.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
That's what else what I'm telling every day.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
In my high school. Okay, the easiest part of the song.
Please don't yeah, okay, I don't ever want to.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
No, no, I'm not I want to say, I don't
even want to.

Speaker 6 (16:59):
I don't want to be like you. You be me,
and I don't want to be because I am me,
And you gotta be who you can be in the
world today, in the world today, you gotta stand up,
you gotta call Alan, you gotta find him.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
And get him back him. You got.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
It's all right? Oh man, I kinda I don't know.
Maybe I thought you were going to come with. I
gave you the easiest part of the song.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
You know you listen.

Speaker 7 (17:41):
I thought she had it for a second.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Yeah, you know that was the words. There should have
been the words. At least I thought I was wrong,
but I was right.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
You win. Thank you for listening to whatever that just was.
Hang on one second, okay, stay right there, all right, haven't.

Speaker 7 (17:56):
The whole brood and find Allen you gotta get him?

Speaker 1 (17:59):
Got on sid.

Speaker 7 (18:02):
My man in the blue and my pencils off, I'm
looking at you.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
Yeah, just incorporate every part of this nice recap of
the show. So it was really good. Nice more friend show. Next,
