Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show,
Hey saying good morning, welcome to the show.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
How are you?
Speaker 3 (00:09):
I'm doing all right? Okay, it could be better?
Speaker 1 (00:12):
We were all right saying again now we got people
like keeping it real because how many times we do
waiting by the phone and I'm like, how are you doing?
I'm great, except the love of my life is ghosting
me and won't talk to me anymore. So Stan's keeping
it real? What's going on with this woman? Alana? We
got to know kind of all the backstory, how did
you meet? Tell us about any dates that you've been on,
and then where things are now.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
Yeah, so we actually met at a bar.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
I was with my friends, and we were actually seated
near her and her friends, and you.
Speaker 4 (00:39):
Know, some of my guys started talking to some of
her girls, and you know, I started talking to her
and I eventually decided to ask her if she wanted
to break off and have a bite. And from there, yeah,
it was great and like we just vibed like one
thing led to another, and then she just casually invited
me back to her place, which I mean, I thought
(01:01):
that was the best sign there.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
Could be love.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
We love a casual invite back to her place. We
love that. Yes, so that happened.
Speaker 4 (01:08):
Yeah, that happened, and we had a great time over there.
But ever since she hasn't answered my calls, she has
a return my text and it's been like two weeks now.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
We don't love that.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
We love the casual invite, we don't love the two
weeks of ghosting, which has got to be, you know,
frustrating because you like somebody and then you want to know,
like why they treated me this way? What happened? You know,
how do I fix it? Can I fix it? That
kind of thing. So that's where we come in, Shane.
We're gonna call a Lana. You'll be on the phone.
We'll ask some questions. At some point you're welcome to
jump in on the call. But the hope is that
we can figure out where she's been and what's going on,
(01:41):
and you know, maybe we can fix things and you
guys can reunite and go on another date.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
That we pay for.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
So good, that sounds great to me. Let's see what's
going on. In part two of Waiting on the phone.
Next after got got Bruno Mars very different from Bruno
Mars and Sexy red back in two minutes. It's the
Fred Show. Lady guy got Bruno Mars. The Fred Show
is on the radio and iheartapp live in anytime. Search
for the Fred's Show on demand. Shane, welcome back. Let's
see if we can figure out what's going on with Alana.
(02:08):
You guys, you actually met in the wild. You met,
actually like you approached this person human to human contact.
I die and you spoke and you got away with that.
You weren't called creepy or weird or anything. Not only that,
but you got a date out of it, went back
to her place, except you haven't heard from her in
a couple of weeks.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
You want to know why.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
That's exactly what's going on.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
All right, Let's call her now. Good luck, Shane, thank you?
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Hello.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Hi is this Elana?
Speaker 1 (02:41):
It is Hi A lot of My name is Fredam
called from the Fred Show, the Morning radio show, and
I have to tell you that we are on the
radio right now and I would need your permission to
continue with the call. Can which chat for just a second?
I said, okay, sure, yeah, thank you very much. I
don't want to take up too much of your time,
but we're calling on the behalf of a guy who
reached out to us.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
His name is Shane.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
I guess you guys met you met out and he
went on a date, I guess of sorts at dinner
and stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
Do you remember this guy Shane?
Speaker 5 (03:08):
Yeah, Oh my gosh, I can't believe we're calling about him, right.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Why can't you believe it?
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Because he liked you and thought things were going really
well and says he hasn't heard from you in a
couple of weeks, so there must be a story.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Sounds like there's a story.
Speaker 5 (03:21):
Well, yeah, okay, so we you know, we went on
this date and then we went back to my place,
and you know that'll be the last time that ever
happens because of what happened the next day.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
So everything was good until the next day, yes, like
the morning after.
Speaker 5 (03:39):
Oh yeah, okay, So I had to be up really
early for work, so I wrote him a note, left
and sleeping at my place. But I have cameras, like
in my living room, in my kitchen. Boy, and a
few days later, I was looking like I was looking
for something else and I saw, you know, like Shane.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
There and he was like trying on my clothes. No,
I'm not kidding it.
Speaker 5 (04:01):
And I remember coming home from work that day and
thinking some things are out of place, but I didn't
really think of anything, think anything of it.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
And then I mean that confirmed it. So I have
a couple of questions though, I mean, we'll get to
that part. But you met this guy, took him back
to your house, and you felt comfortable enough to just
leave him there when you I mean, I would kick
somebody out if I don't know you. You're not staying
in my house after I go. That's like some relationship stuff.
That's the first thing. We'll get to the part about
him putting on clothes.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
You've already slept together, you know him more intimate? Can
you get that?
Speaker 1 (04:31):
That does when you can trust them. We're gonna get
to the real exciting part here a minute, Wait a minute.
So you meet a guy at a bar, take him home,
and have a one night stand. We trust him.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
I've never done that, and I wouldn't sleep with someone
that I don't trust. Okay, but that's they just did. Correct.
But then they just Matt, if.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
You're letting him in your you know what, then I disagree.
I've gotten with plenty of people that I wouldn't leave
alone in my house. I'll tell you that right now anyway.
But let's get to the part I forgot to mention
that Shane is here. Let me bring Shane into the
Shane I'm shocked about. I mean, the female clothing is weird,
but leaving someone you don't know in a house, this
is what you leave alone.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Let's talk about it. What does she take from you?
Speaker 1 (05:13):
The reason that no one's never stolen from me is
because I've never allowed it. I think people listening are
going you really lost the most shocking part of the story,
which is the female clothing. So let's get back to that. Alana, Shane,
you guys, you guys know each other. I'm sorry, I
forgot to mention the change here. I'm so forgetful, dude,
What what.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
I mean?
Speaker 4 (05:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
I guess I just wanted to see what it would
be like, you know, to be you for the day.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Oh, you wanted to know what it would be like
to be Alana for the day. So this is the
first time this has ever happened, is what you're saying.
This is a you got a wild hair to put
on some ladies clothing when she's not there.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
I mean so the first.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Time, but like I was doing it just to try
to be like her.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Oh well that's still a problem.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Well, Alana, what is your reaction? He wanted to know
what it's like to be you.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
I literally have no words. That's so weird. Change the locks?
Speaker 1 (06:04):
Did he put on like everything? Like underwear, clothes? Like
did he go for it? Like all the way?
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Why are you ask him? Else? Shame? How how much
like a lota? Did you want to be?
Speaker 3 (06:16):
Look, I think you guys are being a little insensitive here.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
Okay, wear, but that's not I mean, look, no matter
what I wanted to wear, like I was there, I
had access to everything, and like I was just putting
on clothes.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
I don't have a problem. You do whatever, you do whatever, whatever,
That's what I mean. I don't I'm not judging that.
It's just it's just creepy to put on somebody else's
clothes that you this whole thing. It's just a little creepy.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
I mean that's your opinion.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
And like, look, I'm glad that I know that she's
not into that, because like, well, yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
People are into that.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
I mean your profile, Yeah, a lot of people are
into you know, leaving people in their home and then
they try and all their stuff and then want to
be them. Yeah, that's that's the TOI normal thing.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
All right.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Look, I don't think I have to ask, but a
lot of any chance you'd go out with our friend
Shane again. Okay, okay, Shane, Look, whatever you're into, you
do that, no shame there, but I might ask for
permission next time when you're gonna start putting on people's clothes.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
They don't know about it.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
Or go out, you know, yeah, go out to the
old brillianty Code factory and pick up some for your
own clothing, or a Target or wherever you like to show, Walmart,
wherever you like to shop, get your own stuff.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
You know.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
I don't know. I think you guys are making way
too big a deals out of this.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
But ye whatever, I certainly don't. But anyway, you guys, heye,
thank you for your time. A lot of Shane, bestive
luck to both of you. The entertainment report we calin
