Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yeah, I can't everyone never mind he's on the Pread Show.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
I don't care, whatever it takes.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
The iconic record executive, music producer, entrepreneur, and founder of
Murder Inc. Records has died of just fifty four years
old IRV Gotti. That broke my heart when I saw
that news. And if you somehow live under a damn rock.
He came onto the scene in the late nineties early
two thousands, working with artists like Job Rule, Ashanti DMX.

(00:26):
His signature production style blended hip hop beats with melodic
hooks and influenced a whole wave of wrap and R
and B crossover hits. Now, while we're talking, I mean
always on time. I'm real, Ain't it funny? Foolish mesmerize?
Like if you don't know who he is, you need
to know. He has made such a splash in the
music community as far as I saw. His family didn't

(00:47):
list a specific cause, but he did suffer a minor
stroke I believe it last year, which correct me if
I'm wrong.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Was I think that was his second.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Now he did make a full recovery with that though,
so it's still heartbreaking. But I guess, you know, suffering
from some health issues seeing a lot of celebrities, from
Kanye weston even fifty Cent, who had a really long
running feud.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Yes, yes, wait got he posted some very disrespectful stuff. Yeah, yeah,
he posting about it. Yeah, fifty disrespectful.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Grave smoking by a grave and then said he.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Was smoking on his ax.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yes, yesstful, Yes that's cool.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
No, fifty Cent, I guess doesn't discriminate dead or alive.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
He's going to come for you.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
But yeah, no in portaste, but other celebrities are giving
him very warmut. Giselle Bunchin has welcomed her third child
and first with boyfriend Joaquim Valente.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Giselle has been dating him.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Her kids jiu jitsu instructor almost landed that plane, couldn't
do it quite since two thousand and three, but he
has been their instructor for a little bit longer than that.
Ex husband Tom Brady did reach out to congratulate his
ex wife, by the way, so he's being mature, even.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Though the day that it came out he was posting
songs and lyrics and sunsets. But if that's the case,
you fumbled, bro.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
The Miami Heat have finally treated Jimmy Butler something that
he was not shy about wanting to the Golden State
Warriors as part of this whole multi team megadeal, and
it's part of this agreement, he's going to decline his
fifty two million player option for next season, is planning
to sign a new two year deal for one hundred
and eleven mil that carries through the twenty twenty seven season. Now,

(02:27):
my favorite part of this whole story is fan sitting
courtside at the Heat game actually broke the news to
the players.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
We're sitting on the.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Bench and he's like, you got this player and this player,
And the guy's like, wait, who he.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Is hearing the game, And then everyone else in the
stands has their phones. Yep. So they were talking to
a couple of the guys, yeah, like yeah, here's the
trade that just went down, and they're like, oh really,
it's so funny.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
It wasn't good audio, so I didn't play it, but
you will have to post that because it's hysterical. By
the way, and I can't believe we're already talking about this,
but our iHeartRadio Music Festival presented by Capitol One is
back this September, and of course Vegas legendary performances, biggest
names in music.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
I mean, the lineup is always fire.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
But you actually have an option to get tickets before
we even tell you who's coming.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
You know it's going to be good though.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Capital One cardholders get first access to tickets.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
That's happening now until.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Either noon or one, depending if you're in Central or
Eastern while supplies last. Then tickets and go on sale
for GM Pop starting today.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
After that, but for twenty four hours only.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
I can't wait to go. I don't know if you
guys know this. I think we've spoken about it, but
my role at the iHeartRadio Music Festival has increased significantly.
Jason saw it firsthand. I used to make the safety announcement.
I made it literally. They had me go out there
before they started rolling the cameras for the special to
tell people that there were going to be pyrotechnic and
not that you've got I really had to do that

(03:46):
for many years. I memorize it, and then and then
two years ago I got to go out and make
an actual stage announcement, but once again for the opener
to the opener, so that was not on Hulu or
whatever or CW or whatever. Yeah, I was sure not
to be on TV. And then last year the biggest
of all I made omelets in Ryan seacrest dressing room period. Yeah,

(04:08):
and he's more of like a veggie organic guy. But yeah,
I mean he said I made the best omelet. So
it's exciting. Yeah, all right.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Well, if you want to see Fred in action, also not,
you're gonna need to be there, so go to Radio
dot Com Slash Festival.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
You're gonna need tickets. But he's really good.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
He didn't even have his prompter working and he remembered
everything one time.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
That was one of the scariest moments in my entire life.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Oh yeah, you literally went out there and winged it,
winged it.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Yeah, I did not wag it. Oh I thought I
thought about it. I thought about wagon in Vegas before
I winged it in Vegas, but not on the stage.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Is that past tense for wing it? I'm really not think.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
I think that's a whole different thing than I may
have done. Get to know. The little safety announcement, like
you know, it happened maybe five minutes before the show starts,
so the arena's full of people. And the thing that
I remember is that every every corporate suit. Every every
buddy is there and they're all their little platforms Drincken,
their little uh expensive tequila and the whole thing, and
so like when you go out there, it's of course,

(05:08):
the people don't necessarily know because it's Vegas and people
are from all over the countries, so they don't necessarily
know who I am. They don't really care. But but
the suits they're all watching this, and so they're like,
here's your script. They send it to me. It's like,
this is what you're supposed to say, but don't worry.
When you go out there, there's a gigantic, like a
one hundred inch screen that has the words on it,
like a prompt teleprompter. I'm like, oh great. So then

(05:29):
I show up and we practice it. They're like behind
the scenes the teleprompter guys like here's how it's gonna move,
and here's how fast it's gonna go. I'm like, great,
no pro I've done this before, no problem. I go
out there blank screen, blank screen, blank screen. I'm waiting
for it to pop up. Blank screen. So I just
I honestly do not remember I did from the moment

(05:49):
that I started talking till the moment I walked off
the stage. I have no idea what happened. I went blank.
I don't know what I said. I don't know if
the words came out in the right order, you know.
And then I get off the stage. There was a
great job, and I'm like, really because there were no words,
Like we mean, there were no words. I'm like, there
were no words on the screen. Y'all set me up.
They're like, we couldn't tell you. Did you memorize it?

(06:11):
I'm like, I don't think I did. I don't know
what I said. I don't know if I did, Like
the flight attendant thing, I don't know if I just
went in it, like the emergency exits are here and
they'll be little this way right, oxygen masks will drop.
I have no idea what I did. I have no clue. No,
I'm not though. That's the problem. Normally I wouldn't have
even read it beforehand, but luckily I did. This time

(06:32):
