Wendy Williams made a pretty surprising live call on Good
Day New York, telling hosts Rosanna or Rosanna that she
passed her mental evaluation, something that.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
We talked about yesterday.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
And when I say she called in like she literally
called the host's iPhone and she put it on speaker
and then we were live on TV, which was kind.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Of fascinating to me if you missed all this.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
She was taken to the hospital by ambulance Monday morning
after dropping a note from her fifth floor window the
facility where she's being held with the words help Wendy.
She has been confined to the memory ward that she
says she's been fighting this guardianship that controls her money and,
according to Wendy, is keeping her as a virtual prisoner now.
She told the host that she's forced to remain on

the fifth floor, even needs an escort to go to
the gym.

This is what I found interesting.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
When the host asked her if she would accept being
assigned a sober companion and a financial adviser if she
were allowed to leave the facility, Wendy said that she
doesn't need a sober companion.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
She said she's not drinking ever.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
In her life, and the facility claims that she got
drunk on a bar in the facility, which is why
they locked her down.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
So it's a lot of he said. She said, of course.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
She's open to a financial advisor, but she says she
can't get to her money because the Guardian has it.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Of course, the Guardian has.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
A completely different story, and Wendy has had a history
with substance abuse. So I don't know what's going on,
but it's very interesting and it's certainly very nuanced. In
a new Vogue cover story, model Gigi had Deep got
candid about her co parenting relationship with former One Direction
star Zane Malick.

If you forgot, they dated for like six.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Years and welcome their daughter Kai in September of twenty twenty,
before calling it quits a year later after he and
her mom, Yolanda Haidie she was a housewife, got into it.
I mean reports were actually saying that he hit her mom,
which is crazy. But she said, she and Zane make
their custody schedules months in advance, and they plan everything
arounds weeks that they respectively have their daughter.

She said, that doesn't mean that it doesn't change.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Here and there, but we help each other and we
have each other's backs, which is certainly good from the
rough patch that they were going through. She also went
on to say that they both both approach their relationship
with love and a feeling of camaraderie, which I mean.

Is all any little kid asked for.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
She also talked a lot about her boyfriend, Bradley Cooper,
said that he taught her to believe in herself and
she has a lot of respect for him, so she
seems very happy.
