Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yeah, better than these are the radio blogs on the
Fread Show. Okay, it's like we're writing in our diaries,
except we're saying them aloud. We call them blogs. Caylin'scot one,
take it away, dear blog.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
So right now, I'm in a phase of life where
it feels like truly every woman around me is pregnant
or has just given birth. So I am trying to
hold my breath because I feel like I'm gonna catch
it at some point.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
But that is the.
Speaker 4 (00:27):
Stage in life I'm at right now.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
We got a lot of babies, and I love babies.
And one of my friends gave birth recently to a
beautiful baby girl, or so I assume she's beautiful, because
I have not seen said baby girl, so I obviously
have been talking to her leading up to the birth,
during the birth, after the birth, how we do and
(00:52):
how we feel, and has the baby.
Speaker 4 (00:54):
But every time I was like, let.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Me get my eyes on that stinking cute little baby,
she's me you know, Oh I'm going to sleep, or
oh the baby's sleeping, like I don't care if the
babysit it snap a photo. And then I said, you
are a new mom. Why are you dodging me. I know,
there are photos on your phone of that cute baby
girl that you can send me. And finally she was like,
(01:17):
but they're not good pictures, And I said, girl, it
is a baby. They are all going to be adorable photos.
I think she's gatekeeping pictures of her daughter.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Well, they all come out looking a little smushy, to
be honest. So I mean they came through it. You know,
they're kind of big, and they came through a small door.
Oh they did so into the world.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
Oh yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
So when a man loves a woman camp and you know,
you put the thing in the thing and then nine
months later another thing comes out. But they all look
a little smushy, a little off color. So I don't
you know, I mean, every baby looks that way. So
what is she worried about? Then I gonna be glamour shot.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
Right they do.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
I'm out a little smushed, and I just I've never
had one of my best friends dodge me so hard.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
I mean, the excuses are wild.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Oh you know, I'm taking a sip of water, you know,
I gotta take a walk.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
I'm like, let me see that damn baby.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
And then in a group text, one of our other
friends said congrats, she's beautiful. And I texted her and
I said, excuse me, and I said, ma'am, why is
one of our other friends saying that she's like, I
swear she hasn't seen her. She hasn't seen her, Like,
I don't believe you. And she's like, Case, she looks
like an alien. I'm like, and if you, I mean you,
you guys know this friend Like it's very on part,
(02:36):
like she's probably needs her baby, like on her registry
was a cashme outfit and matching Suitcase said, I purchased
her to take the baby home, and so this is
very on part. But I'm like, I've never had a
friend gate keep their adorable baby.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
I'm not gonna post it.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
I'm not gonna like beat her to the punch and
post her baby. I just wanted to lay eyes on
the little cutie. And she's worried about does she look cute?
Speaker 4 (02:56):
I'm with her on this, what really?
Speaker 3 (02:58):
Oh yes, girl, sometimes you gotta let the baby finished cooking,
you know, like you need to say it in a
little warm yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
Like it's looking all crazy.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Then it's the first impression of you meeting your knee
so you know, no, yeah, I will see my baby
probably like six months, you know, like you gotta let
the edges grow a head, the little eyebrow. I don't
come out looking real. Suspect, suspect I will.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
I mean I had, I had a little baby, and
day one versus day what is this three hundred and
sixty four or whatever this is?
Speaker 4 (03:35):
Yeah, it's it's a difference, right, it's a difference.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
But I know you had a good looking baby the
whole time. I know what you're saying.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
I can't.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
I kind of you, you can flex. She's beautiful.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
One thing I did not know, and I'm not asking
for a photo directly out of the birth canal because
I did not know that babies have a straight up conehead.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Oh yes, for a little while.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
That's what I'm talking about, big baby, small you know entryway.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Yeah, it's some days though, like it's been a week,
like let me see the damn baby, or I'm.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
Going to show up there.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
And even I tried to go over there and she's
like we're both exhausted, we're tired.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Like I don't even need to talk to you. I
need to lay eyes on this baby.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Okay, gatekeeping this baby, she really is. She's trying to
get like, I don't we have photoshop the baby picture
release or something right an infant.
Speaker 5 (04:25):
I'm always amazed at them.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
And I've been this guy with a few of my
friend's babies, my nieces. But I'm always amazed at the
moms that let let people into the hospital, you know,
minutes or hours after they just gave birth, you know.
And I went in, like, and my sister had a
dress on and all this stuff the day after she
had made And I know she wanted to look normal
for Polly because she didn't want Polly to see her
(04:48):
like in a hospital bed and think that maybe she
was sick or something.
Speaker 5 (04:51):
So like she you know, but this baby came out
twelve hours ago.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
My sister's got a full phase of makeup and a
and a you know, a dress on, and her hair's
done and all this stuff. And I'm going, you know
what if I extracted a human from my loin, you
wouldn't see me for a year, Isn't it crazy?
Speaker 4 (05:08):
That's what we can do and come back, yeah, just
bounce back from it. But hey, now I would have
a full face of makeup on. I'm sorry, yes, oh,
in my face, But yes, I would.
Speaker 5 (05:16):
Do a can use it it comes back.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
Well, no, I said that the women. You know, we
popped back, we bounced ball from from that.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
Well, let me do it all. I'm totally with this girl, Kiki.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
I would.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
I'm gonna send y'all a picture of somebody else baby.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
Baby white and blue eyes and blonde hair.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Wait a minute, I saw this baby picture frame.
Speaker 5 (05:40):
