A lightning, it's dark.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
It's a lot because I continue to stay in my

What are we up to?
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Two fifty fifty two fifties show biz? Kiky yea in
the in the showdown, filling in for show bishell our
pop culture expert. If you could answer five questions, then
you could win that money.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Yeah she was scoring one.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
Oh, I got it in my hand.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
That's that's where it's at today, right in my hand.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
I get in your hand. Well, that's helpful. I can
see it in your.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
I go to sleep with it, you know, and I
think about it all the time. But yeah, two fifty
ten wins, one lost, do you hit it?
Speaker 7 (02:20):
One streak?
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Who do you write it on your hand? Like you're
trying to get a phone number or something? And in
the olden days, you know, it'd be like, hey, I
guess now you know, with phones and everything, you don't
have to do that. But in olden days, it'd be like, hey,
can I get your number? And maybe someone would write
it on your hand and then you would. Then you'd
walk around hoping that your hand didn't sweat so you
didn't lose the number.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
Wow, we were so thirsty back in the day. Right
to write it in my hand?
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Right? I thought you were about to be like, I
don't know what you're talking about, which is gonna make
me feel really old.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Okay, Well, I know y'all been there. I know y'all
been there.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
Yeah, we do that, Okay, So.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Lots of things coming up on the show this morning,
and Jason Siffer Cannon with the Entertainment Report, what are
you working on?
Speaker 5 (02:59):
Well, Kim Kardashi and said during one of her prison visits,
that's getting her drugged on the internet.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
Thiks okay, I want to know you guys think about this.
We'll do a morality Monday on a Friday. This is
from uh. This is from TikTok, which apparently is you know.
I remember the year or two ago, Kiki, I was,
I was, I was pooh pooing the TikTok and I
you know, and I still think you spend way too
much time on it. Still, I still think that there
(03:25):
are moments in your life, like when you're going to
the bathroom or when you're in the shower, that you
don't necessarily need to Actually that's not true. And depending
on what you're doing in the in the bathroom, you
might use the TikTok to buy some time, you know,
to entertain yourself. But in this shower, I mean Kiki
watches TikTok in this shower, I think that is unnecessary. Well,
(03:45):
you know, look at you judging me. Yeah, I am,
you're right, You're right, you're right. I am judging the
woman who can't put ticktock long enough to take a shower.
Speaker 8 (03:55):
I mean, listen, I have to find my joy and
that brings me joy.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Well, what I need to do is find you.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
What I need to bring you is something from Amazon
that protects your phone from the elements, because apparently there's
no situation where you where the phone is safe.
Speaker 8 (04:09):
Now it is kind of junky. Yes, I kind of
prop it up against the shampoo bottle and just.
Speaker 5 (04:13):
Ripe where you lose me because they make devices that
the hang in your shower to put your device in
so well.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
But that's even crazier, like someone decided that there's enough
demand for people who can't stop using their phone long
enough to bathe if they had to make something and
sell it on Amazon. I mean, guys like you can
get in the shower and you can wash your little
booty and everything else and you don't need during that time,
(04:40):
we cannot have TikTok.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
But I think it will be okay.
Speaker 8 (04:43):
If I'm in the middle of a story time and
it's just getting like I'm on part six of you
know why I'm getting divorced?
Speaker 4 (04:49):
Why would I stop perfose on her story?
Speaker 5 (04:51):
You know who am I to stop her from her troop?
Speaker 4 (04:55):
I am hurt listening here.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
You know that's a good point. Yeah, I get it.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
I understand, But I say this because I find myself
I was with a friend yesterday, and like everything I
was referencing, I was basically either saying out loud or
new in my head. I got it from TikTok. So
I mean, that's like my new television network now, because
I don't need Who needs CBS, I don't, you know,
I don't need. I don't have to watch c SPAN anymore.
(05:21):
You know, I don't have to sit around and watch
all those congressional hearings. I just go to TikTok and
I get I get the because you know me, I'm
a congressional hearings guy.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
You know, start to finish.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
If there's a congressional hearing, don't call me because I'm busy.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
I'm watching it.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
I'm not even I'm not showering at all because I
don't want to miss a second of it, like well
I'm turning the water on or anything like that. But
I will say I do get a lot of information,
be it right or wrong, from TikTok. But this this year,
guys morality Monday on a Friday. The scenario is this
woman who you're about to hear, says that her daughter
(05:55):
was invited to Disneyland for an entire week by her
dad's side. Of the family, but her other kids, who
he is not responsible for. The kid's step siblings, I guess,
were not invited. So this woman says, the original kid
can't go.
Speaker 9 (06:13):
I am the mother whose daughter was invited to Disneyland
by her dad's side of the family, and I am
not allowing her to go unless the rest of the.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Kids are invited.
Speaker 9 (06:24):
I have six kids total, so she has five sisters
and brothers ranging from fifteen to one. I am not
going to allow one child to go to Disneyland. Every
kid's dream is Disneyland. How what did you feel as
(06:44):
a child if you had sisters and brothers and one
of your sisters was invited to Disneyland. You were watching
them pack, you are watching them shop.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
For clothes for the trip.
Speaker 9 (06:58):
You were watching her leave for Disneyland with her Mickey
Mouse ears.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Well, first of all, you get the Mickey Mouse ears
at Disneyland. You're not gonna wear the Mickey Mouse ears
too Disneyland. So let's make a money like let's keep
for First of all, she didn't have the Mickey Mouse
ears yet. Second of all, and I want to know
eight five, five, five, nine, one one oh three five
you can call him text the same number. But guys,
this is ridiculous, Like you're telling me that if I
have a child with a woman and then we break
(07:25):
up and she moves on and does whatever, that I
can't do. I can't take my kid on a vacation
because she has step siblings. I mean, I guess in
a perfect world, everybody loves everybody and it's you know,
but what interaction do I have with my ex's kids?
Probably not much, if any. And yeah, I guess in
(07:47):
a perfect world everybody goes to Disneyland and the whole family.
Maybe I don't know, but I hate to sound insensitive,
I really do. But if it's my child and my
ex moves on and more kids and as a family
with somebody else, I'm not responsible for that family. I'm
responsible for my family. I'm responsible for my kid. So
(08:07):
if I want to take my kid to Disneyland during
my visitation time, then.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
I think I should be able to do that.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
And I don't think that the other person should be
able to say My ex in this case hypothetically should
be able to say no because her kids can't go.
I mean that that's not fair to my kid. It's
also not my responsibility to take all of them too.
That's assuming I even really do anything with those kids.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Yeah, you're not wrong at all because on top of
that too, Disney is expensive. Yes, like I understand, like
that's not the point of this, but when you think
about it, all, Okay, so let's take all six kids
that and five are not mine. I mean, if you can,
if you got it like that he wanted to invite them,
I think he would. I don't This man doesn't seem
I don't know him, but he doesn't seem like a
terrible father. He wants to take his kid to Disney,
(08:51):
like I'm sure like if he wanted to or he
I don't know, had the funds, but like, you can't
expect all the rest of the kids to go somewhere,
you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
They're not that that's not dad. Yeah, I'm so torn
with this one.
Speaker 8 (09:03):
Yeah, I am really I feel I feel for the
other kids, of course, and that they you know, she's
right about you know, them watching their sibling go and
make those memories without them, And I understand that happens
when you have a blended family. I wish so I
wouldn't take the stance of she can she can't go,
but I would make an effort to make sure that
(09:24):
I can create a trip for all of my kids
to go, so you know, you can go with your
dad this time. But I would be telling my kids like, hey,
mommy's saving up and I'm going to take all of you.
Speaker 10 (09:33):
You know.
Speaker 8 (09:34):
But right now, her dad wants to spend time with her,
and let and allow her to go do that, because
she doesn't deserve to be robbed of that experience with
her father. But I do understand the mother wanting to
protect the other kids, and they're in their feelings towards
their sibling right.
Speaker 5 (09:49):
In the end and the peace of the home, right, yeah,
you know, those other siblings might end up resenting her
because she got to do all this fun stuff. And
again it's not the dad's fault at all, like he
should be able to.
Speaker 10 (10:00):
Do what he wants. But yeah, I wouldn't.
Speaker 5 (10:02):
No, I would be like, okay, well then how do
I make it up to Maybe.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
That's a blended family. Excuse me, that's what a blended
family is. You know, there's things where you sit out
on things that you get to go to, you know,
like I come from one, right, My sister. I have
different fathers, but I've never felt robbed because that was
her dad.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Yeah, I mean, I just I think that that's that's
that's kind of up to the mom to deal with
to figure out how to how to do that with
the kids that she's had. I mean, I feel like
that's probably also something that she should have considered along
the way, because because that dad has a right to
have moments with his child, and I don't think those
should be thwarted because because he doesn't want to take
(10:40):
five other children. Yeah, And I also think it's kind
of a lesson, right, Like you know, you say to
the other kids, like, well, not everybody gets to do
everything all the time. And maybe you don't say it
like that, but I mean she has a different dad.
That doesn't mean that she's not you know, part of
the family, but I mean it also means that she's
allowed to have I mean, what is the dad and
not allowed to give her Christmas presents? Is a dad
(11:00):
not allowed to give her birthday presents?
Speaker 1 (11:02):
Is?
Speaker 2 (11:03):
I mean, I don't know. I think this is a
mom problem, and unfortunately it is as someone who also
is a you know, my parents got divorced and and
and I had to go visit with my dad for
a while, and he, you know, he he married another
woman and then she had kids, and it was all,
you know, when we were together, it was all about
making it equal, which was really annoying by the way,
(11:25):
because I'm like, Dad, I'm your kid like my Amanda,
and I like, you're supposed to take care of us,
like I don't care about these kids. Well, be equal.
You know why the time about equal? I didn't sign
up for this, Like you're the one that married the lady.
I didn't marry the lady. You know, these aren't your kids,
So that there's that. Yeah, And I understand what Jason
was saying about creating a divide, but at the same time,
(11:47):
I don't think that means that he or anyone doesn't
get to do the thing that they want to do
for their kid, because their job is to provide for
their kid, not six kids.
Speaker 4 (11:55):
Absolutely no, you're right, you're right in that.
Speaker 8 (11:57):
And I grew up in a spot where like I
would be allowed to go on this trip with my dad,
but then my sister was very much like if you
bring something home, like say, he drops me off with
McDonald's at home at her house with all the other kids.
I think you, as a father, you should buy McDonald's
for all the kids in the house. I agree, stuff
like stuff like that, but yeah, don't stop.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
Her from going on the vacation.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
You're right, well, I would argue you don't have to
buy McDonald's for all the kids. Just don't make it
so that the kids eating the food in front of
the other ones, Like take the kid to McDonald's and
then bring the kid home and I guess, you know,
then you run the risk of the kids saying, well,
I just got to go to McDonald's.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
But again, you know, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
I don't see how this is much different from going
to school and the kid in your class got to
do something you didn't get to do. It's like, I
realize you're not family, but those parents are not responsible
for me just because I'm friends with the kid and
I didn't get to do the thing. I mean, come on,
how many times in life do do people you know
and love get to do a thing that you don't
get to do. And it's just that sort of life, right,
(12:54):
I mean, And I don't think it's someone else's parents' obligation.
Now in a perfect world, everybody get If you've ever
been in a divorced situation, then you know this is
not necessarily how it all.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
This is usually not how it goes.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
But in a perfect world, everybody gets along and then
maybe they the old dad and mom and stepdad and
stepmom and everybody gets together and says, hey, you know
what would be fun is let's go to six Flags.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
Let's go to Disneyland.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
And then they plant it together and they figure out
how to pay for it and everybody gets to go.
That is not usually how it goes, so I think
you could expect a situation more like this than that. Hey, Kristen,
good morning.
Speaker 11 (13:33):
Welcome, Hi, good morning, Hi.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
What do you think this.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Woman on TikTok is saying that her child with her
ex can't go to Disneyland with her ex, the child's father,
because she has since moved on had more kids with
someone else and it wouldn't be fair to the other kids,
even though the other kids are not his.
Speaker 12 (13:56):
Yeah, I think it's ridiculous that she is acting that way.
I think that the other like the one child, should
be able to go with her dad, and if she
wants the other five kids to go like she should
pay for it. She shouldn't expect like her ex to
pay for her kids with somebody else. Like, if they're
going to pay for the trip for them to go,
then fine, they can go. But if you're not paying
(14:18):
for it, how do you expect someone else to pay
for your kids with somebody else to go on a
trip to Disney which is super expensive.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Well, that's the thing, christ And it's not like maybe,
let's let's say the ex moved on, I had one
kid with someone else, Maybe we figure that out, like
one kid, but we're talking about hundreds, if not thousands
of dollars to take someone to Disneyland to right do
that time five more however, many more kids she said
she had. That's not tenable. That's not real.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
You can't, right, And you're.
Speaker 12 (14:48):
Paying for their food the whole time. They're going to
want some like that's a lot of money that you're
going to be coming.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Yeah, and you're robbing your kid of experiences because you
can't afford to do it with the group. But then again,
the child who's missing the experience didn't have any say
in the fact that you moved on and had a
bunch of other kids.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
That's you.
Speaker 12 (15:08):
Think that he's robbing the other kids, but like you're
robbing this Like yeah, you're right, you're like you're robbing
the kid that he wants to take to Disney. I
just think it's unfair. I feel like in that situation,
like when the other daughter goes to visit the dad,
do you send all the other five kids with her? Like, no,
you don't. You just send the one daughter whose like dad.
Speaker 11 (15:26):
That is not all the other kids.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
Right right, Kristen, Thank you, have a good day. Thanks
you too, Glad you called.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
Uh, Diane is here?
Speaker 13 (15:36):
Hi Diane, Hi, good morning, guy, Hilly you can you can.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Name everybody because we're half the people are gone, so
it's it's a simple conversation. Yeah what.
Speaker 13 (15:55):
Oh I want to say that is not fair period
that what she is doing for the one daughter. If
you want those other kids from your previous relationship or
past relationship whatever to go pay for that on your
own and it's not his responsibility.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Yeah, No, I mean I think we all agree on that.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
It's it means it means no trip because the guy's
not going to pay for six kids. I mean, I
don't know how many people can do that anyway.
Speaker 11 (16:22):
No, that's selfish.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Yep, yeah, yeah, I agree. Hey, Diane, thanks for calling,
Thanks for listening. Have a great day, you two guys. Yeah,
a lot of people are saying in the text that
they would basically do it and then just lie. Yeah okay, fine,
Oh no, I won't. I won't take the kid, okay, fine,
and then and then the.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
Kid anyway, you know, don't take my kid across state lines.
Just hurt my feelings, right.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
Tell me?
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I hope, I hope
none of you find yourself in that situation. But I mean, yet,
it's hard enough to take care of one kid. I
don't know why you're obligated to take care of a
bunch of others that you didn't really have any part in.
Speaker 4 (17:01):
Yeah, I want to be messy for two seconds. This
is why you gotta choose your baby daddy really.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
Carefully, because the other five kids can go too with
their father.
Speaker 4 (17:10):
How about that crazy idea?
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Well, and you could make the argument that a family
of six may not be able to go to Disneyland
because he is really expensive. We've talked about that before,
and that does suck. And I recognize that that you know,
there's an experience that those kids may not get. But again,
if I have one kid and one responsibility, and then
that that is ultimately my priority. And I don't know
why I'm robbing the child of experiences because I can't
(17:35):
take a bunch of kids. I didn't I'm not involved
with necessarily. So yeah, uh wait a minute, I want
to So I got to take care of all your
kids too.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
With another guy like wait, talking about.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
No girls take them kids to the carnival.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Okay, that's expensive too, I don't know why. Hey, how
about this nice public park over here, they're gonna slide again.
I'll get you some Mickey Ears off Amazon and one
of those things. You can watch TikTok in his shower,
it'll be great headlines the Biggest Stories of the day
in three minutes after the weekend, Fred's Show.
Speaker 5 (18:13):
Fred's Show is on Fred's Biggest Stories.
Speaker 10 (18:17):
Of the Day.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
Somebody said that And this is a multi part story
on TikTok. I played for the first part, but it
does go on. I guess this guy the Disneyland story,
the guy who was gonna take his kid at Disneyland,
disney World whatever.
Speaker 11 (18:29):
He was.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
The other kid's step parent for a period of time,
I guess, so, oh wow, okay, But yet it's complicated.
But I still contend that if I'm not Look, if
if I'm a step parent and then I have a
kid with those kids mom and we're a family unit,
(18:54):
we're married and we're together, No, I can't break off
and just take my kid somewhere, right because again, my
mom got remarried and then the guy she married raised us,
and you know, he's our dad and whatever. If they
had had another child together, I know they would have
made every effort to make us all feel equal, even
though that was our half sibling, right like a man,
and I would have had the same mom and dad,
(19:15):
and then we would have had the same mom.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
But they didn't do that.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
But if they had, and I know that, then my
dad couldn't just break off and take his quote unquote
kid and do something cool and leave us behind. But
if they were to break up, then I understand. But
at the same time, it's like, so, then if I
can only afford to take my kid somewhere and I'm
I'm not a part of that family anymore, really, then
(19:40):
I just don't take I just don't get to do
anything with my kid. Because I can't afford to take
six people. It's very complicated, I would agree, But so
do you rob your child of the experience you can
afford to give him or her, or because you can't
do it times five? Or do you or do you
just say, look, this is what I can afford to do.
We're gonna do this. And maybe, I don't know, if
(20:01):
the relationship persists with the other kids, maybe you do
something different with all.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
I really don't know the answer, but I guess if
you default towards I'm just not gonna do anything with
my kid that I can't do with everybody, then that's
gonna limit a lot of things, because that's a big
ass family. And is the mom gonna chip in it?
Why is it? Why is this woman not saying, well,
then I want everyone to go, so I'll pay more
than half so that everybody else can. So that's that
(20:26):
hasn't come up at all. You know, she's just going
if he's gonna take this kid, he has to take.
Speaker 1 (20:31):
All of them.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
You know, you're right about that, but also too in
a way, and I hate saying this, but I think
it's true. He's kind of entitled to that one on
one time with his child, Zoo Like, maybe this disneything
is special to him and he wants to take his kid.
And I understand he was the step parent of the
other children at some point, and I respect that, but
also I don't know, it's that one on one time
with your kid, and I feel like he's entitled to
that too.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
He is. I'm a sucker.
Speaker 8 (20:52):
I would take all the kids right neighbors kids I couldn't.
I couldn't see myself pulling up and I was. I
lived in this house with these kids, and when point.
Speaker 5 (21:00):
You're invested in there A lot of times, I like,
you don't know them. I feel like once you're invested,
like you then have a responsibility for almost ever to
at least like have some sort of special experiences with Diamond.
Speaker 8 (21:12):
Did you not love me as a stepparent when you
lived here? You know what I'm saying, I as I could,
never I would. I would save my opinion and take
them off. But as you said, Paulina, he is entitled
to that one on one time. You know, it's just
about how you do things.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
I don't love you enough to have a two hundred
credit score because I can't pay the credit card bill
after I took all these kids.
Speaker 8 (21:31):
You don't love the kids, ie, you don't love the
kids enough.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
Enough to have a two hundred credit score because I
can't pay the bill, because I can't take six kids
to Disneyland.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
No, I don't.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
That's crazy. You're gonna leave me at Pauline at home.
It's just say.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
What I mean.
Speaker 10 (21:48):
I'll tell you the last place I want to y'all.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
I took.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
I took Caitlin and Jason on one trip. I'm taking
Kiki on another.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
Pauline and I went to the shooting range together and
got our concealed weapons permits.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
That's all that matters.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
I mean, you know, we had our daddy daughter time,
which sounds weird, but you know, everybody was invited, but
no one else came.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
I mean, I feel like, you know, you guys do stuff,
you know, Jason Caitlin hang out together, and I mean,
I don't know. It's not everyone's going to be able
to do everything all the time, and yet there's still
a lot of love for me. It's just, you know,
what can I afford to do? What is my what
is my immediate responsibility? And I guess if I'm one
hundred years old someday and my kid is seventy and
(22:33):
I didn't get to do anything cool with my kid
because I couldn't afford to take all the kids, some
of which were not technically mine, and I'm not with
their mom anymore.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
That's a shame. Yeah, you know.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
So biggest stories of the day BYU loses to Alabama
last night, Sweet sixteen Duke over Arizona, Florida over Maryland,
and Texas Tech big comeback over Arkansas. I know, Jason,
your bracket must be just bracketing. Yeah, it's just blown up,
you know, bracket that.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
Yeah, who do you have winning the whole thing? Jason?
Speaker 2 (23:03):
I'd love to know who, because, you know, Sweet sixteen,
we're getting down to the nitty gritty here. Who do
you have winning the entire tournament?
Speaker 11 (23:09):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (23:09):
You know the Ogs, the Alabama yea of Alabama winning
mill Well that's an interesting pick. They did win last night.
Speaker 10 (23:18):
So oh hell yeah, okay.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
Yeah I just said that.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
So yeah, tonight in the Sweet sixty Old Miss Michigan State, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, Auburn,
and Purdue Houston. So we'll be down to the final
four by Monday. So very exciting everyone. What else do
I have for you this morning? And biggest stories of
the day. Oh, another sports story. There's a guy making
all kinds of news for the NFL Draft, which is upcoming.
(23:44):
A defensive tackle named Desmond Watson could become the heaviest
player ever drafted after impressing scouts at Florida's Pro Day.
This dude is six foot six, four hundred and sixty
four pounds, and he can bench two hundred and twenty
five pounds thirty six times, so he can lift me
up thirty six times. But he is six six four
(24:05):
sixty four and his bench press topped any bench press
performance at this year's NFL Combine. He also covered the
forty yard dash in five point ninety three seconds and
recorded twenty five inches in the vertical jump. I couldn't
do any of that night, weigh half of this guy.
What this guy does, so the coach of the Florida
Gators described him as a unicorn. You'll go the rest
(24:27):
of your career and you'll never be around a guy
of that stature. That's a big freaking dude. So the
next time that you get mad at your quarterback, you know,
for throwing the ball and it doesn't it doesn't go
right on target. Just realize there's a dude who's four
hundred and sixty four pounds running towards his ass as
he's throwing the ball. I don't know, man, I would be.
(24:47):
I'd be so scared if I were quarterback in the NFL.
I get the ball and I would just ah throw
it away and it needs to to get run over
all the time by guys like that. This story is
for Paulina, And if I had some stab boys to
men music on hand, I would play it, but I
don't have the record.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
Cueue up right now.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
But Paulina, there are big changes coming to your beloved Hooters.
Speaker 10 (25:11):
Today's not the day.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
Is not the day.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
Big changes coming to the beloved Hooters. The iconic chain
is making moves to save itself in the brink of
bankruptcy by scrapping its infamous bikini knights.
Speaker 4 (25:26):
Oh bikini Nights.
Speaker 1 (25:31):
I don't think I've ever attended bikini Nights.
Speaker 3 (25:34):
Rather, I don't want to go now, but they're taking
it away, So how are we gonna do that?
Speaker 1 (25:38):
I remember the first time my dad took me to Hooters.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
I think I was like thirteen, and I prepared for
it like I was going to a strip club as
an adult.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
Like I thought.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
I thought we were doing something very salacious. Oh yeah, oh,
because it was a relatively new thing when I was young.
I was like, we're going to Hooters. It's We're just
a restaurant, you know, very much over to the public,
family environment.
Speaker 1 (25:56):
But I thought, why are we playing.
Speaker 11 (26:04):
Here?
Speaker 10 (26:04):
Okay exact what does this.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
Have to do with my arch? I'm like, why is
the random Brunomar's song point right now?
Speaker 10 (26:14):
You guys are paying attention.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
That's cool, Well, how can I not hear that? It
just Bruno Mars just started screaming at me about grenades.
So are you going to are you going to catch
a grenade for Hooters so that they don't have to
stop doing bikini nights.
Speaker 4 (26:28):
I would give anything to Hooters at this point? Is
that what is It's a night of bikinis.
Speaker 10 (26:35):
This doesn't seem sanitary bikinis?
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Well, Jason, let me tell you a lot of things
that aren't sanitary that people do.
Speaker 5 (26:41):
Okay, I mean, I know it works in a restaurant,
but just like having your bikinis like, oh, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
There they are bikini restaurants. I don't know how many
there are anymore. But then like the two thousands, they
were like bikini restaurants, don't well you could just go
and somebody to bikini serving you. I'm like, okay, but yeah,
they're looking for a more family friendly focus. The CEO
calls it a rehooterization of the brand. I'm gonna use
(27:10):
that today. I'm gonna use that in the sentence today.
I'm gonna rehooterize something this weekend.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
It's a shift towards well, they did go on a
shift towards more risky uniforms and marketing. The company is
going back to its roots, aiming to appeal to a
wider audience. A vendor working at the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds
is accused of putting super glue in his coworker's soda, which,
I this has got to be This could be bad
for so many reasons. But a woman said, in the
(27:38):
past couple of weeks, well because Hooter stopped the bikini nce.
A woman said in the past couple of weeks the
drinks on her desk had a strong chemical smell.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
And taste.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
After she drank the beverages, she told State Fair police
to set up a surveillance camera to monitor her drink
on her desk, and the camera caught her coworker putting
something in her drink. Police interviewed the guy who admitted
to placing a supplement was what he called it, in
his coworker's Coca cola. What they found were clear protective
gloves and a Gorilla brand super glue container and a
(28:08):
cap in the trash near his office. The Milwaukee County
District Attorney's office is follow a felony count of placing
foreign objects in edibles. I guess that's a charge. But yeah,
you don't do that. That is not a nice thing
to do. You don't like your coworker, you're upset about something.
And this is the second cat story of the week.
I think because you know, why not a silver main
(28:30):
coon cat, which my sister has won. I think he's
forty pounds. My mom has won. I think he's twenty five.
These cats are monstrous. They looked like a little bobcats.
I'm not sure that we did the DP bobcats. I
don't know. Have you ever seen those videos on TikTok
of people who like bring in a straight dog and
it turns out to be a wild coyote. Yes, I mean,
I feel like that's what happened with my sister's cap.
(28:51):
But a silver main coon cat from Minnesota was awarded
a Guinness World Record after his tail was measured at
eighteen and a half inches long. Mister Pugs Adams is
his name, and I guess he's a very easy going cat.
Two years old and he has an almost nineteen inch
long tale.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
Wow right, So yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
Congratulations cat for that that. I kind of figured somebody
was gonna make like an eighteen inch joke, but then
no one did.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
So this morning I.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
Slow pitched that one to you.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
I just kind of let it hang there, and I
was like, is anyone going to make an eighteen inch No,
you're not, okay, So it's National something on a Stick
Day and Matt okay, go all right, and the National
Weed Appreciation Day and Canley was sure to write in
here garden weeds, not the other kind. So you see,
we're wondering which I mean next valid because I feel
like these days weed appreciation me it can be a
(29:49):
lot of things. The entertainber of Fort James did for
Caitlyn next Fresh Show Uncomfortable.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
He is on The Fresh Show.
Speaker 5 (29:56):
All right, So, Fred, I'm telling you there's a shot. Okay.
So US Weekly is reporting that Sidney Sweeney and her
fiance Jonathan Devino have called off their wedding officially as
they're facing major issues in their relationship. As we thought,
right yep, man, Yes, so they aren't fully split yet, Fred,
but things are not great right now. So all the
(30:17):
wedding plans have allegedly come to a halt.
Speaker 10 (30:20):
This off. Do you have a girl a warning before
you try to do that?
Speaker 4 (30:26):
I got it ready and loaded.
Speaker 5 (30:29):
So they've been living separately since I think in January.
Sydney has been on vacation with her friends, staying in
a hotel, and Jonathan was actually seen at their home
that's in the middle of a renovation. They haven't been
seen together since January twentieth, and Sidney just completely unbothered.
Yesterday posted some photos in a white lace bikini on
vacation in.
Speaker 10 (30:49):
A pool, as she should. God, So Fred, when are
you making your move?
Speaker 1 (30:54):
Well? You should zoom out on that picture a little
bit because.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
Your boys, sweet Potato was there?
Speaker 5 (31:03):
Potato I'm gonna say this now, there's nothing attractive about
a sweet potato.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
When I say sweet potato, I mean, but you know,
it's what I mean, small fry, It's fine, it's I mean,
you know those tattero tots that you put in the microwave.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
That's what I mean. That's a little bit more what
I'm working with.
Speaker 2 (31:21):
But yeah, I mean, look, you look at somebody who's
really hot, and Sydney Sweeney is really hot or whatever
the male equivalent is for you, and you think, oh,
if that person were single, like, how could somebody break
up with them? How could you fumble Sydney Sweeney? And
that must be very difficult to And I'm sure the guy,
I'm sure he's a listener of this show because he
lives in Chicago. Who doesn't listen in Chicago? Especially when
(31:45):
I start talking about it soon to be ex girlfriend.
I'm sure he's turning it up now. But I have
no beef with this guy. And you know, I'm sure
when you're inside of a relationship, things are very different.
You know, maybe there's dysfunction, maybe you know it's not
working out for reasons that I nothing to do with
her insane physical attractiveness, but I would.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
I mean, how do you fumble that?
Speaker 11 (32:07):
Right?
Speaker 1 (32:07):
How do you fumble that?
Speaker 10 (32:09):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (32:09):
And I just love that this news broke and she's like,
I'm putting a bikini pickup.
Speaker 10 (32:13):
I love it. I love when girls do that. Yeah,
let me see here, Yes, okay.
Speaker 5 (32:21):
So Kim Kardashian continued her prison reform journey on this
week's episode of The Kardashians, and she mentioned a pretty
surprising story. Now I have to say I have fallen off.
I have not watched a season in a couple seasons,
so I don't know. It just doesn't hit the same.
I don't know why. But anyways, so she's kind of
getting dragged for a story she told. Kim brought Kendall
(32:43):
and Scott Disick and her friend Olivia Pearson. They went
to a prison in northern California. I met with some
of the inmates there and one of them asked Kim
why she got into prison reform, leading her to tell
a story of when she was younger and a Fredden
had her go pick up quote like ex to see
at an apartment and then asked what if something happened?
(33:04):
Then she said, well, I would have just called my dad,
probably not the thing to say in front of a
bunch of people in prison. So Kendall actually verbally chuckled
because she saw one of the prison guards in the
room physically face palm himself after Kim said that, okay,
and then Kendall said that Kim is giving very much
(33:24):
elwoods and legally blonde in this exact moment. So sometimes
Kim just just don't say things, you know, look at
your environment.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
Or have a better story ready, because you're gonna get
asked that question a lot.
Speaker 4 (33:35):
Why why this? Why this law?
Speaker 10 (33:37):
Exactly?
Speaker 11 (33:38):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (33:38):
Did I tell you about my server? And I hop on?
Speaker 2 (33:41):
I think it was Saturday morning at four am, at
at three am. I don't even know what I was
doing out a three am?
Speaker 4 (33:47):
Yeah, wait, I need the story of what you were
doing time.
Speaker 1 (33:51):
Let's go. Well, I was, I was.
Speaker 2 (33:54):
I was back home in Arizona, and I was Trevor
and Chris the Animal, you know, the three of us
got together the Crasan we call these a little little
Asian man, the Crazian and whichever's been on the show before,
and and we went out for whatever reason, like old times,
and we went to a bunch of places, and then
we and my friend Trevor's not drinking, so he was driving,
and so we were out late and then we go
(34:15):
to He's like, I'm hungry. So we go to I
Hoop at like three in the morning, and our server,
a very nice woman, says that she just arrived from
another state where she just got out of prison, basically,
And of course I had to ask because I may
have been inebriated. And I mean, how come on, somebody
says to you, I just got out of prison. I mean,
you got to ask the question. And apparently, and I
don't know, just you talking about Kim Kardashian in prison reform,
(34:37):
I guess just made me think of this. But she
she admitted that she was on a work release program
where she would go to prison at night or jail,
then leave and then go to work and then go
back to jail at night. And she said she wanted
to bring some drugs in for her friends one night,
you know, she just wanted her friends to have some
drugs and wow, And so she snuck drugs back into
(35:00):
I think she was on a drug charge as it is.
Speaker 10 (35:03):
Stop.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
So she she went for work release, came back with
some party favors. They found them and she didn't leave
for four years after that.
Speaker 5 (35:11):
So you know, yeah, that's a felony right to bring
that into a prison.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
Oh yeah, you know you're not supposed to do that, right.
Speaker 5 (35:18):
Yeah, And she already had a drug charge that was
probably not good.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
So so we need to call Kim Kardashian and see
if she can investigate this, because you know, this is
concerning to me. She was a good but I was like,
that's what I said to her, That's exactly what we
said to her, were like, you know what, you are
an excellent friend. You know, you know somebody you were
thinking of other people there and you were, and that
(35:42):
what a sacrifice your life.
Speaker 5 (35:45):
Trying to give your girls a party. You were into
a little party night. You know, I love that little sleepover.
Speaker 2 (35:50):
All right.
Speaker 5 (35:50):
I'm an wrapper up So you can catch up on
the show anytime on the new and improved iHeartRadio app.
And while you're there, make us a precept, please, Jason.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
I tell you about my server at I hop on.
I think it was Saturday morning at four am. That
at at three am. I don't even know what I
was doing out a three am Yeah.
Speaker 4 (36:08):
Wait, wait, I need the story of what you would
doing story time.
Speaker 10 (36:12):
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
Well, I was, I was, I was back home in Arizona,
and I was Trevor and Chris the Animal, you know,
the three of us got together the Crazan we call
these a little little Asian man the Crazian and whichever's
been on the show before, and and we went out
for whatever reason, like old times, and we went to
a bunch of places and then we and my friend
Trevor's not drinking, so he was driving, and so we
(36:35):
were out laid and then we go to He's like,
I'm hungry. So we go to I Hop at like
three in the morning, and our our server, very nice woman,
says that she just arrived from another state where she
just got out of prison, basically, and of course I
had to ask because I may have been inebriated, and
I mean, how come on, somebody says to you, I
just got out of prison. I mean, you got to
ask the question. And apparently, and I don't know, just
(36:55):
you talking about Kim Kardashian in prison reform, I guess
just made me think of this.
Speaker 1 (36:59):
But she she.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
She admitted that she was on a work release program
where she would go to prison at night or jail,
oh yeah, and then leave and then go to work
and then go back to jail at night. And she
said she wanted to bring some drugs in for her
friends one night. You know, she just wanted her friends
to have some drugs and wow, And so she snuck
drugs back into jail.
Speaker 1 (37:21):
I think she was on a drug charge as it is.
Speaker 10 (37:23):
Stop.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
So she she went for work release, came back with
some party favors. They found them, and she didn't leave
for four years after that.
Speaker 5 (37:31):
So you know, yeah, that's a felony right to bring
that into a prison in.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
Oh yeah, you know you're not supposed to do that night.
Speaker 5 (37:39):
Yeah, and she already had a drug charge that was
probably not good.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
So so we need to call Kim Kardashian and see
if she can investigate this, because you know, this is
concerning to me. She was a good but I was like,
that's what I said to her, That's exactly what we
said to her, were like, you know what, you are
an excellent friend. You know, you know somebody, you know,
you were thinking of other people there and you were,
and that what a sacrifice your life.
Speaker 5 (38:05):
Trying to give your girls a party. You were into
a little party night. You know that we'll sleepover.
Speaker 2 (38:13):
Ever been left waiting by the phone.
Speaker 1 (38:16):
It's the Fred Show. Hey Ben, good morning, Welcome to
the show. How are you good, guys? How are we
doing today? Doing all right?
Speaker 2 (38:22):
What's going on with this woman Sarah? I gotta know everything?
How did you guys meet? Tell us about any dates
you've been on, and then where things are now?
Speaker 6 (38:30):
All right?
Speaker 11 (38:30):
So, I mean, just to be kind of brief with it,
because I mean, it's nothing crazy. So I went out
with the ship Sarah a couple of nights ago, and
I met her on like the apps, right, Like I
met her online, and so we started talking on the
internet and doing our thing. And then yeah, we went
on a date a couple of nights ago, and I
honestly felt like we had a pretty great day. I
thought everything was going smooth, but like, I mean, we
(38:53):
were like talking all night. It was great, Like it
was a great day. And then I get a couple
of days later, I still haven't gotten any word from her.
I haven't heard anything whatsoever. She ghost to me, and
so clearly I got the long impression. And that's, uh,
that's kind of why bringing this to you, guys, I'm
bringing this to the professionals. Cuse I thought we right day,
but she.
Speaker 2 (39:12):
To me, let's let's use professionals loosely here. But we
are unlicensed, but we do have a lot of experience
in this. But you said in your note to us
that you guys, you went on this date. You talked
all night. So this wasn't like a you know, you
went on a day, you had a couple of drinks,
somebody wanted out, you know, she wanted to bail, and
then she ghosted you. I mean like you guys had
a connection, because if you're talking to somebody all night,
(39:32):
you know you're connecting.
Speaker 11 (39:33):
No aru, Because like so we get to the rest
start at like seven, seven thirty, and we left when
it closed at eleven thirty, so we talked all night.
Speaker 2 (39:40):
See, I would think that's good, right, Like I would
think if that's the kind of date that I go on,
that this is a person who's interested and I'm going
to hear from them again. But anyway, let's play a song.
Come back in a couple of minutes. Ben, We're gonna
call this woman Farah who you went out with. We're
gonna see if we can get her on the phone.
We're gonna ask these questions for you. You'll be on
the phone at the same time. And the hope is
always is that we can straighten this out and set
(40:01):
you guys up on another date that we paid for.
Sound good, Let's see what's going on in part two
of Waiting at the phone. Next after Got Got Bruno
Mars back in two minutes on the Frend Show. Got
Got Bruno Mars. The French Show is on the radio
on the iHeart app live and catch up anytime. Search
for the Frend Show on demand and make us preset.
Hey Ben, all right, let's call this woman Farah. You
(40:21):
guys met on the apps. You went out and something
interesting that you shared about this date is that you
win it. You know, I don't know, seven thirty for
the date and you wound up closing the restaurant down.
The conversation was that intense and in depth and extensive,
and yet you haven't heard from her since to date.
You feel like you're being ghosted. You want to know why?
Speaker 11 (40:39):
Yeah, I feel like it's weird because we were definitely clicking.
We talked for hours and now I got any ticks back?
Speaker 1 (40:44):
All right, well, let's call her now. Good luck? Ben? Hello,
Hi is this Farah?
Speaker 6 (40:57):
Yeah? Who's this?
Speaker 10 (40:59):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (40:59):
Farah?
Speaker 1 (40:59):
Good morning. My name is Fred.
Speaker 2 (41:00):
I'm calling from the Fred's Show, the morning radio show,
and I have to tell you that we are on
the radio right now and I would need your permission
to continue with the call. Can we chat for just
a second, would you mind?
Speaker 14 (41:10):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (41:11):
Well, thank you very much for calling on behalf of
a guy named Ben who says he met you on
one of the dating apps and you guys recently went
on a date.
Speaker 10 (41:17):
Do you remember him?
Speaker 6 (41:18):
Of course I remember Ben?
Speaker 1 (41:20):
Of course you remember him? So what does that mean?
Speaker 2 (41:23):
Because you know, he reached out to us and told
you that he liked you, and he said that it
was a long date. You guys conversed for a long time,
and he was excited to see you again. And I
guess he figured because you the day was so long,
that you were into him and that you'd call him back.
But he says that you haven't, So are you ghosting him?
And if so, why, well let's start at the beginning.
Speaker 1 (41:48):
Yeah, at the beginning.
Speaker 6 (41:50):
Yeah, So just to clarify, I was super busy the
day of our date. I had barely had any time
to eat, so I was excited that he invited me
to dinner and we go to a restaurant that he picked.
But then he was making lots of comments on how
(42:10):
expensive it was.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
Okay, yeah, yeah, like oh this is.
Speaker 6 (42:15):
A lot blah blah blah.
Speaker 2 (42:18):
But he took the place, so like he's complaining about
how expensive it was, but like he told you where
to go, so what do you You're like, I don't know,
this was your call.
Speaker 6 (42:25):
Right right, yeah, it was like almost making me feel
guilty even though I had no control over it. And
we ordered drinks, and then when the waitress came back,
he asked if he could order off the kids.
Speaker 2 (42:41):
Menu, the kid's menu, So you wanted some maca cheese
and some chicken figures? Now he wanted because that's like
what he eats, Like he's one of these kind of
people that only eats like kids got of food, or
because it was cheap, I.
Speaker 6 (42:55):
Think cheap, like if you want chicken nuggets, I can
respect that, but I think he just wanted to cheat
this option.
Speaker 1 (43:04):
Okay, So then what happened.
Speaker 6 (43:06):
Well, he told the waitress that we needed more time,
and then the waitress came back like four times, and
he kept telling her that he wasn't ready yet, and
then he would just go back to talking to me. Finally,
the waitress comes and says that they're going to close
the kitchen and I said, look, I have to eat
(43:26):
or I'm going to pass out. He said, fine, told
her we would split something, and then he ordered for
both of us.
Speaker 2 (43:32):
Yeah, he didn't want to spend any money on this
day because he's stalling. And then he's like okay, and
then finally he orders something. He chooses that you then
you don't even get to order your own thing, and
what happens.
Speaker 6 (43:44):
Yeah, then he ate most of it.
Speaker 1 (43:48):
Oh my god, Okay, all right, So they didn't spend
any money.
Speaker 6 (43:52):
No, it just it made me feel like he really
didn't plan this very well and wasn't being super considerate
of me. And honestly, I would have split the bill
with him if he was really concerned. But I mean,
after he decided to order for me, like screw it.
Speaker 2 (44:13):
Okay, Well, let me bring Ben into this because I
fail to mention that Bennis here. It's like he may
have fallen asleep after all this, but I'm not sure.
Bet are you there, Hey, guys, hey, fair like this
because normally they get known people are like oh and
they get kind of upset nothing about it. But Ben,
what are we doing, man? Why are we going to
you know, the most expensive restaurant or a super expensive
(44:36):
place and then not letting her order and being surprised
at how much stuff caused. It's kind of rude to
go on a date and bring up how expensive stuff is,
especially if you picked the place.
Speaker 14 (44:46):
I mean, my thing is been like I think she's
kind of putting this vibe on it of like oh,
Ben didn't want to spend the money or something like
that that this is crazy. Look, I'm just this is
this is where it was for me, is that I
was just more into her than I was like the food,
you know what I mean. I was just into the
(45:07):
conversation and like chatting and vibing with her. Because you
guys heard the way that.
Speaker 11 (45:13):
I described the situation or the date when I first
called you guys, it was that we were there for
hours and we were vibing and clicking for hours. That's
what I thought was going down, was that. But you
were just more into the conversation and each other than
the food.
Speaker 2 (45:27):
Then you can vibe and click and also nourish your body, right,
you know, with some food. You know what I mean,
Like you're at a restaurant. The person who you invited
expects to eat, The waitress expects you to eat, you know,
the people that own the restaurant expect you to eat.
I mean, you know, and I guess I look, you
may have picked a place you to realize how expensive
it was. There's a way out of that. I mean,
(45:49):
you could be like, hey, you want to let's get
a drink here and then let's jump over to this
other place or whatever. But I mean, you know, ordered
off the kids menu or whatever else, like you just
didn't want to pay.
Speaker 11 (45:58):
I know, I'm on a whole my ground that that's
not what this was. I Okay, I will admit that
I pulled up and when I saw the prices on
the menu, it was just thrilled about them. I'll admit that.
But I wasn't excited to pay what I was about
to pay for a signal entree on that freaking menu.
But I will admit that I think that this is
(46:20):
a situation of her thinking that I'm cheap or whatever,
when that's not the case. I was ready to pay
for whatever. I just, I mean, I honestly just was
enjoying her in the conversation more time eleven journey and
I'm placing.
Speaker 6 (46:34):
It's not just about you being cheap. It's about you
not paying attention to me and what I.
Speaker 2 (46:40):
Needed, which was, yeah, she's about to pass out over here.
This woman needs to ee something. Look, Kiki, if I
go to a movie, I expect the movie to come on.
If I go to a bar, I expect them to
serve me a drink. If I go on a dinner date,
if I'm invited on a dinner date, then I expect
there to be dinner. I don't think it's unfair.
Speaker 8 (46:58):
No, this is given broke boy and no disrespect, man,
But I think you need to stop trying to date
until you.
Speaker 4 (47:03):
Get your money right, Like you got to build up
your funds and.
Speaker 10 (47:06):
Then go out.
Speaker 8 (47:07):
Because taking a grown woman on a date and asking
for the kid menu is like in saying she had
a big tea.
Speaker 1 (47:13):
Yeah, no disrespect, but you broke as disrespect though, yeah I.
Speaker 4 (47:17):
Ever heard of broke It's giving broke boy.
Speaker 11 (47:18):
Energy, all right. Look, I just I don't think that
this is a situation of broke boy energy, and I
will prove it with this, because if I was on
some broke boy stuff, then would I be ready to
ask for on a second date to feed her again?
Speaker 1 (47:32):
Right?
Speaker 4 (47:34):
Fool me twice. That's come on out.
Speaker 2 (47:36):
You're gonna take the park or something, the public library,
something that's free. Yeah, look, man, I don't I'm not
knocking anybody who doesn't want to spend or can't afford
to spend a bunch of money on a on a
dinner date. But then you you if you knew that
might be a problem, then you got to look ahead
of time and pick a place where you're gonna put
your best foot forward. I mean, you ask someone to
(47:57):
do something, you're hosting them essentially, and you want to
make a good impression.
Speaker 1 (48:01):
Then you got to pay for the date.
Speaker 7 (48:03):
Man.
Speaker 2 (48:05):
It's not even like you took her somewhere and she
went and ordered the most expensive thing on the menu
or whatever.
Speaker 1 (48:10):
She just wanted something from the menu, right.
Speaker 6 (48:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (48:12):
They were sitting there until like the kitchen clothes there,
and then I'm about to close down the closing shift and.
Speaker 4 (48:18):
Everything's going out around me and I do I'm home out?
Speaker 2 (48:21):
Yes, Oh, I mean, let me ask you this, Pharah,
would you have split the bill with him? I mean,
it may not have been the best impression, but at
least you would have gotten somebod to eat out of
the deal. You could have you ordered something and then
just knowing that you were gonna have to pay for it.
Speaker 14 (48:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (48:34):
Absolutely, It's just you know, I put all this work,
like us gals put all this work to look super
nice for our dates. And I don't know any guy
who takes as much time getting ready as I do.
I mean, the least you can do is make sure
that I'm able to eat.
Speaker 8 (48:50):
Right, Like next time, take her to a happy hour
you know where it's like appetizers and light bites you
go for to sex. Yeah, don't wait to try to
take her out to dinner.
Speaker 1 (48:59):
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 11 (49:00):
If I'm going on a date after work, I do
not have time to go to.
Speaker 6 (49:04):
Work, eat, then get dressed and then go on your date.
Speaker 7 (49:08):
And you got to feed your date. Man, You got
to you know what, And I feel you it is
really it is. It is difficult. I'll bring the nutril
green bar or something next time. Whatever we gotta do,
we'll figure something out.
Speaker 11 (49:25):
In case she's hungry like that. I didn't know she
was hungry like that. Like so.
Speaker 1 (49:31):
For dinner, I mean, what are you gonna bring her
some fruits?
Speaker 11 (49:36):
But you're saying I need all these appetizers and stuff
like that. So I'm like, okay, well if I bring
a nutril green bar, then I got all my bases covered.
We can take four, half, five and a half.
Speaker 6 (49:44):
That was what we need, and she got oh one
kids menu mode. Just bring me a bag of cheerios
while you're at it.
Speaker 2 (49:51):
Yeah, I know this is the stuff we do for
my four year old niece. But anyway, like I'll ask
the question, Faarah, I think I know the answer, but
would you like to go out with? And then again,
we'll pay for it so that won't be an issue, Okay,
all right, Okay, we'll have the money and go out
by myself.
Speaker 11 (50:08):
I got you know what, we.
Speaker 4 (50:10):
Should probably give it to him, like I think he
needs some groceries.
Speaker 2 (50:14):
I man, I'm gonna go buy you some nutri grain
bars and I'll send it to your house Amazon for you.
It'll be fine, you know. I guys, I wish you
both the best of luck. Thank you for your time.
This is wilds all right. Money's entertainment report is on
The Fresh Show.
Speaker 5 (50:31):
Yeah, so I'm gonna talk about something really happy, Okay,
like a brand new baby.
Speaker 10 (50:35):
Doesn't that make everyone happy?
Speaker 11 (50:37):
Hur So?
Speaker 5 (50:37):
Meghan Fox, she got something really good happened to her
yesterday after a tough couple months, she had a healthy baby.
She and Machine Gun Kelly shared a sweet black and
white photo of their first child together yesterday, showing MGK
gently holding the little newborn baby's hand.
Speaker 10 (50:56):
It's so cute.
Speaker 5 (50:58):
Meghan and MGK seem to be reunited for now, even
though they have not been on speaking terms since November.
Megan allegedly wants nothing to do with a relationship with
him anymore. So not sure they're going to move forward,
but right now at least they're enjoying their little new baby.
But of course the day didn't come without any drama.
I feel like those two, there's always drama. So earlier
in the day, Megan's ex mister Brian Austin Green the
(51:19):
Icon that he is, shared a DM that MGK sent
him basically saying stop asking what the baby was due.
I guess Brian kept asking people, when does the baby do?
When's the baby coming? This in the MGK was like
don't worry about my baby.
Speaker 1 (51:31):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (51:32):
Everything just seems a little unstable. But I'm leather back
together right now, enjoying their new little bundle of joy.
And so Kelly Clarkson did a rare podcast interview. She
doesn't do a lot of interviews anymore now that she
has her talk show, but she talked about co parenting
in the latest episode of her friend Kylie Kelsey's podcast,
and Kelly says that there's a double standard when it
(51:53):
comes to working moms versus working dats Sonny, Right, this
is something that I never really thought of, but she
stated her frustration over school performances and how they're scheduled
sort of mid work week, like during the day when
parents need to work, uh, and they would have to
call off work in order to not be able to attend.
That really made me sort of think back to all
(52:14):
the things we had in school that, like you know,
parents were supposed to come to that were literally at
like ten am.
Speaker 2 (52:19):
Right.
Speaker 5 (52:20):
So Kelly said that she looks like an ale to
her kids when she can't show up to midday events,
but her ex Brandon Blackstock doesn't get the same response
when he can't go. She did end by saying that
her response, when asked by her daughter why she couldn't
be at certain things was that other kids moms could be.
She says, congratulations to those kids because she made different
(52:43):
decisions that led her being able to be there on
a Thursday at ten am.
Speaker 10 (52:47):
She got a better mom, and you got me, Kelly.
Kelly's a great mom. But I didn't realize that.
Speaker 5 (52:53):
That's like super frustrating. Absolutely, and then we'll do one more. Paulina,
this is for you, So the not for you, but
I know you love Selena Kentinia, the woman.
Speaker 11 (53:02):
Think it is.
Speaker 1 (53:03):
It is just for her because I'm not sure if anyone.
Speaker 10 (53:05):
Yeah, I mean, is anyone hearing it. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (53:07):
Jason, thank you so much for doing an entertainer report
for the two of us. Right, I hope you guys
enjoyed it.
Speaker 4 (53:12):
I am joyet.
Speaker 5 (53:13):
So, the woman who shot and killed Selena Keintonia will
not be freed from behind bars because she got denied
parole yesterday.
Speaker 7 (53:20):
Right.
Speaker 5 (53:20):
A parole board in Texas denied Yolanda Seldavar's a bid
for freedom, saying the violent nature of her crime and
claiming she just possesses a continued threat to the community,
so she won't be eligible for parole. The earliest is
March of twenty thirty. Selena's family celebrated the denial in
a post on social saying, well, nothing can bring Selena back.
(53:41):
This decision reaffirms that justice continues to stand for the
beautiful life that was taken from us and from millions
of fans around the world far too soon.
Speaker 10 (53:50):
So love Selena Kentania in this house so.
Speaker 5 (53:54):
You can catch up any time on the new and
improved I heard radio app Just search the Fred Show
on demand and while you're in there, make us pre
please show.
Speaker 1 (54:03):
Do you have what it takes to UK with the key?
Speaker 4 (54:10):
I don't know, that's right.
Speaker 2 (54:12):
We need this.
Speaker 10 (54:18):
My elevator music, Yes, this should be yes.
Speaker 2 (54:24):
If I had an elevator in my homes, this song
would be playing on reping let me tell you, and
I'd be going up and down and up and all
the time.
Speaker 1 (54:36):
I carry, Good morning? How you doing?
Speaker 3 (54:39):
Oh my god?
Speaker 13 (54:40):
Good morning?
Speaker 7 (54:40):
How are you go?
Speaker 1 (54:42):
Hold on?
Speaker 6 (54:42):
Carry?
Speaker 1 (54:42):
I gotta play some Kenny g music. I'll be right back. Jeez,
I don't know what I want to do. We gotta
call the guy.
Speaker 2 (54:52):
What's the guy's name at the knock the Network Operations
Center in Sirman Oaks, California.
Speaker 1 (54:58):
What's the guy's name that that doesn't like that?
Speaker 6 (55:00):
Thank you?
Speaker 10 (55:00):
Yes Joe.
Speaker 2 (55:04):
Sassy Joe is the guy who puts the elevator music
on when the internet connection fails at the wonderful Network
Operations Center in California. We didn't give him La Shona
and put that on us. So that's the song I
want Latona on when the show goes off the air.
And so if you hear La Shona, then you know
something's wrong. Some's not right. But shout out to Carry
(55:27):
and Sassy Joe in California. Carry, how you doing?
Speaker 1 (55:29):
Good morning? Tell us about you.
Speaker 10 (55:31):
I am good, Good morning everybody.
Speaker 6 (55:34):

Sure the Fred Show is on Friend's Fun Fact Fred Fun.
Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
All right, guys, let's learn so much, shall we? So
are you familiar with Fort Knox? I mean you've heard
it referred to before. Fort Knox, it's in Kentucky. It's
one of the most secure places in the US due
to the fact that it's home to more than one
hundred and forty seven point three million ounces of gold
bullyon according to the myt During World War Two, it
even stored the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the
(01:00:24):
Bill of Rights. So obviously there's strict precautions when it
comes to access. For instance, there are very few people
who are aware of the actual structure of the facility,
and there's not one single person who knows all the
procedures to open the vault entirely, so there's not one
single individual on earth that has access to all the gold.
(01:00:45):
It takes multiple people to get to the gold. Which
feels a lot like my MySpace page. I would love
to get into my MySpace page and see the time
capsule that was, that he is and was, and the
days of the Fohawk and the True Religion. Jens love
to see it, but it's like Fort Knox there and
my Yahoo email account, which is connected to my MySpace.
I don't know how to get into either one of them.
(01:01:08):
So never again will any of that ever be seen.
It's a lot like Fort Knox.
Speaker 1 (01:01:12):
It is more Fred.
Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
Anything you miss on the Fred Show this weekend on
