Michelle Obama sort of broke he silence on the ongoing
rumors that she and Barack are headed for divorce. Remember
this round of rumors, because they've happened before, started in
December after she skipped out on Jimmy Carter's funeral and
announced she wouldn't be attending Trump's inauguration. During appearance on
Sophia Bush's Work in Progress podcast, which is a big
guest booking for her, the former First Lady blamed society

and it's unfair standards on women regarding skipping Jimmy Carter's funeral.
Michelle talked about how most women struggle with saying no
and disappointing people, and she said so much so that
this year people couldn't even fathom that she was making
a choice for herself and you know, for her well being,
that they had to assume that she and Barack are
headed for divorce. She added, this couldn't be a grown

woman just making a set of decisions for herself, right,
That's what society does to us.

We actually start finally going what am I doing? Who
am I doing this for?

And if it doesn't fit into the sort of stereotype
of what people think we should do. It's labeled as
something negative and horrible. Basically, she's saying divorce is not
the reason she was missing out on things. She was
just taking some time for herself.

I'm not negating any of what she just said, But
is it really that unfair that several really big deal,
high profile events took place where normally the president and
first Lady and former president first ladies would attend and
she didn't. Is is it that much of a reach
to wonder if they're still together? Like, I'm not negating
anything she just said, that's probably all true, but like,

are we that crazy for having not seen the two
of them together after being almost I feel like, inseparable
for decade?

For at least a decade, if not more.

Is it that nuts of a concept for people to
be like, I wonder if they're still together anymore? And
then there were the rumors that Barak was off with
Jennifer Annistan and Rememory el So I guess I don't
know that people are that nuts for wondering.

Yeah, I mean, the Trump inauguration is its own thing.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
I never questioned why she wasn't there. I mean, she's
spoken about it.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
He wasn't at the last one, so I mean, like,
I get that the Jimmy Carter thing was interesting, but
I think my thing is like, why.

Are we jumping to divorce?

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Like, you know, maybe something else maybe is going on,
Maybe something else bad is going on. You know, why
is it divorce? Why are they breaking up? So I
don't know, but that's what she had to say about it.
I guess that's her way of negating it.

You know, usually first ladies go, but Milania didn't go
to one of them, so who knows.

And just weeks after, he was spotted in Nashville and
announced a new bar that he's opening their Snoop Dogg
is now featured on a new country song. Yesterday, singer
Ernest posted this new song called Getting Gone featuring Snoop
Dogg and I Want you guys to be the.
