Speaker 1 (00:00):
Alwin's Entertainment Report and He's on the Bread Show.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
He Diddy's lawyers cross examined his ex Cassie Ventura in
court yesterday and asked her about the early days of
their relationship.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
They also shared some of her more loving texts to.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Him in an effort, I'm assuming to distract from some
of the horrific details of his abuse. She was also
forced to read her texts aloud, some of them very explicit,
including one of her saying I'm always ready to freak
off lol. When asked if she was trying to make
Diddy happy by taking part in these freakoff sessions, she
said no, it was a lot more than that, and
earlier she said that it.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Would be a problem when she tried to opt out.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
The defense attributed Ditty's violence against Cassie to drug use
and jealousy. Cassie said they both took opiates regularly and
that Diddy became an addict. She said he would become
explosive when he found out she did drugs without him,
even said that he wants overdosed on painkillers. Cassie also
testified that Diddy attacked her when he found out that
she was dating rapper Kid Cuddy, but said that she

(00:59):
continued to have freak offs with him while dating Kid
Cutty because it was a job to her. The judge
told the defense that they needed to wrap up the
cross examination by lunchtime today today, by the way, so
that is when that will wrap up. And you guys,
the headline to this next story is Katy Perry is
not welcome back in Las Vegas for residency.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
So that is what this article was titled.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
She will not be headed back to Sin City for
another residency deal at Resorts World, with once our saying
there was apparently a bidding war between Resorts World and
Caesar's and Caesar's technically lost out, but in the end
Caesar's actually won because the residency was a disaster for
Resorts World, a complete failure. Katie was getting paid between
seven hundred and fifty thousand and nine hundred thousand a

(01:47):
show because of the bidding war and the entire run
she underperforms, and Resorts World actually lost money on her residency.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
There. I know this is a crazy article.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
And while she doesn't, she has one show planned in
Vegas that's upcoming.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
It's on her tour, so one off, but that's not great.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
I mean you don't you rarely hear that a residency
makes one of these hotels lose money, But that's what
the streets are saying. And lastly, speaking of music, Ed
Cheron announced that Dave Grohl and John Mayer will appear
on his song Drive, which will drop in June as
part of his F one soundtrack. Dave Grohl of course
on the drums and John Mayer of course on guitar,

(02:26):
because he loves to tell us how difficult the guitar
he plays is, and he will be showcasing that on
Ed Cheron's new song.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
If you miss any
