Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yeah, they talked better than they tell me.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
These are the radio blogs on The Fresh Show, like
for writing in our diaries, except we say to them aloud,
yes that's from vacation.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
Tell us all about it.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Go oh, thank you so much, dear blog. I am back,
the bee is back. And uh, you know I did.
I did a thing called Disney.
Speaker 4 (00:20):
Well.
Speaker 3 (00:20):
First, first, this is crazy. I went to Affluence Palm Springs.
You guys know what happened in Palm Springs the day
I flew in?
Speaker 2 (00:27):
No, oh, yeah there was there was a Yeah, there
was a terrorist attack there.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Literally a mile away from me eating at Lulu's Mike
Walking Chips.
Speaker 4 (00:35):
That was wild.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
There was a bombing there last week. Yeah, it was crazy.
Nothing really happens in Palm Springs. It's pretty it's pretty bellow.
So that was really interesting to deal with. I mean,
I was fine, It was fine. And I don't know
exactly the details of that. I know they're still kind
of coming out, but yeah, and.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
I feel bad I didn't reach out to you. I
didn't realize the order. I didn't realize you were there
when that happened.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
Yeah, no, no, no, it's totally fine. I mean, I'm not
making about me at all.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
It's just like, was crazy because I've been there so
many times and I love it there, and like, what
are the odds of that happening? And I know in
southern California it's found the news like every day, so
I'm like, whoa, this is like kind of a big deal.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
I mean, of course it was a fertility clig.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
It was.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
It was wild. Oh yeah, all is wild though for me.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
And then you know, we we moved on then from
Palm Springs and we my my husband, my daughter, and
I and my sister in law Ariel.
Speaker 4 (01:17):
We went to Disneyland.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
And I know you said that you grew up going
there a lot for yeah, which that's where we went
because growing up in Arizona you went to Disneyland.
Speaker 4 (01:26):
How far is the flight? I was thinking about that yesterday.
Oh that's not bad.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
That's not that we didn't go to disney We went
to disney World one time, but that was like a
that was That's a whole thing l Florida. It was like,
you know, yeah, that was like the Oregon Trail. Yeah,
you know, mo, I'm having to strap us up and
take us across the country.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
It was a big deal.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
Yeah, no, I mean even for us, I feel like
it is.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
That's why I chose Land because I felt like, maybe
it's a little more chill. I know, there's two parks.
I'm so bad at this. There's two theme parks. There's
Disneyland and there's California Adventure. Was that around when you
didn't have that when I was a kid? Now? Okay,
so now you get to pick the cho It's two
different tickets. It's like a whole thing. I chose Disneyland
because you only had one day and I had a
one year old with me, so I was like, let's
just experience Disneyland. It was a baby. It's very interesting.
(02:05):
It's very different. But it was beautiful in a way
too because my daughter I dressed her up a snow white.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
We did the whole thing. We did a Princess for
expensive Princess Breakfast.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
How much is Princess Breakfast? Oh tell me?
Speaker 4 (02:17):
Do you want to know how much?
Speaker 1 (02:18):
How much was Princess Breakfast.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
For three adults one child?
Speaker 1 (02:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (02:21):
It wass one for Princess Breakfast.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
I almost like to cry. It's placed on.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
My nieces, Like, don't I hope they'd like to read books?
And watch their ibeds in their in their houses because
I want her buck to take those kids to meet
a princess.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
I didn't expect that food. The food was gone. I'll
give it that.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
I mean, I love breakfast food. I love anything breakfast,
so like to me, it was delicious. It was the
best breakfast I ever had.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
And it's a baby.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
So I'm sure she's like you, that was more about
you than her, right because she enjoyed it, but like
it's she's not like she's probably not gonna remember it.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
She's her head from her ass, so she doesn't know anything.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Like she was just there like vibe and having a
good time.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Was remember the look on her face and the way
you felt when she saw the princesses and stuff.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Yes you'll remember that.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
I will forever.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
And that's why I'm so happy we did it, because
she was so happy and I have photos and I
posted a couple, but she's so happy.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
She doesn't know who she's looking at and what princess
this is. But she was just so into it.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
And then I didn't admit, like I'll admit that I cried,
and Howvy gave me the whole like you're not going
to be that.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
Parent, are you? And I was like bawling, And.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
Then Princess Aurora comes around and she's looking at me.
I'm looking at her. She can't break character and she's
probably wondering why I'm crying.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
But what made you emotional about it?
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Just that you were able to take her or that
like she was able to experience that, or what what
made you so emotional.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
I think I'm living my childhood kind of for her.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
And I think I'm experiencing that because I never got
to go to the land or world as a kid.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
I went when I was obviously much much older.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
But I feel like it's cool to be able to
like see your child live this magic, if you will,
Like I don't know, and I know she doesn't know
the characters yet, nothing like that I do because I
grew up with all the princesses.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
That photo I showed everyone was the cutest thing I've
ever seen of her smiling at Jasmine.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Yes, it was such an experience I mean for me,
like we won't probably do that for a very very
long time ever again, but like to have that experience
with her was really beautiful. And I don't know, I
was just I was just bawling my eyes out. And
we met Mulan. I loved Mulan growing up, Like you know,
I'll make a man out of you, Like that.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
Was my jam.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
That's a great song and that's why why I am
the way I am, why we are the way we are?
Speaker 4 (04:30):
Like, oh, I love that.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
And she gets to meet Mulan and they're so in
character though, these princesses.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
It's like the funniest thing.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
You kind of want to like break them out of it, figure, like.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
What are you doing after this break and they're just like.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
So Mandy, I just want to see it.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
Yeah, but there.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
It was such a cool experience and I highly recommended,
and like I said, we'll be back for probably a
very long time.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
To start saving now.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Yesterday just say, I can't believe how expensive it is
to go to that stuff.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Yeah, for a breakfast.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Then you guys don't have tickets right to get to
be able to go to the breakfast.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
Tickets and the drinks that we had to purchase because
you know, we have to have a drink at Disney
because you're gonna you're gonna have a drink.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
And then the extra food and just everything else. It
all adds up. So you know I'll be working overtime now.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
You'll hear me on the radio till over the weekend, Okay,
working over sexual.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Well bloody, the pictures were amazing. I'm glad you had
a good trip. Welcome back, waiting by the phone. Why
did somebody get ghosted? Brand new in next Red Show.
