I've ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the
freadshell Ashley. Good morning, Welcome to the program. How are
you doing good?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Thanks for having me.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
You know what, it's our pleasure. At least so far,
it's our pleasure. We'll see if we still feel that
way in a little bit. But what's going on with
this guy? Tom? Why do you feel like you're being ghosted?
And we need all the backstory? How did you meet?
Tell us about any dates you've been on, and then
where things are now?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Yeah, so I met Tom on Bumble. We've met up
once and went out for some drinks and then honestly,
I thought it all went really really well. I mean,
we connected on Bumble and the date only you know,
everything only got better. We like a lot of the
same things. We like baseball, travel, we like the same
books and trying new places to eat. All everything seemed.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
To line up really well.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
And on the date we sat there for hours and
we talked about everything and it was so relaxed and easy.
I will admit we did get a little tipsy on
the date and we did end up going back to
his house. Okay, see yeah, and I mean, I you know,
it went really really well, at least I thought so,

and I had a good time. But I have not
offered anything from him since, not a text, no calls.
I've sent him a couple of memes and he has
not replied. And I even went and checked and he
has unmatched with me on bumble Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Okay, So you I mean, if I were on this
date and we wind up back at somebody's place and
stuff happens, like, that's all good, Like I would think
everything was going great, chemistry and all that, and then
so for that to happen, and then not only have
you not heard from him, but he also unmatched you.
That's a conscious effort not to see you. Like this
guy's absolutely trying to avoid you.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Yeah, that's how I took it. But I have no
idea what went wrong. I thought it was going great.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Yeah, well that's where we come in. We're gonna call
this guy Tom. You'll be on the phone at the
same time. We're gonna ask these questions on your behalf,

the call. But the hope is that, you know, I
don't know, maybe he was so satisfied with you that
he just erased the app, and that's why he went
away on the app. That could happen, Reiki. Maybe probably not,
but maybe I don't know. You had to look on

Yeah?

Okay, thank you very much. We're calling on behalf of
a woman named Ashley, who I guess you matched with
on an app recently, and you guys went out. Do
you remember going out with her? Oh?

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Man, are you serious?

Yeah?

Okay. So she reached out to us, Tom, and she
had was she had nice things about you, and uh,
are you okay with it?

Speaker 3 (04:05):
This is this is just kind of weird whatever.

Yeah, I mean that's fair. Yeah, but let me just
let me just explain on the phone with you on
the phone now, maybe but so so she uh, but
she liked you and she described to us to date
and said that she had a lot of noises but
a lot of moaning, like is this what just what happened?

I'm done talking? What happened? Why are you not calling her?

So, I mean, haven't she was cool? I mean I
liked her, she was cool. I mean I feel bad.
I know, like I feel bad, but.

So there was chemistry. We had a good We had
a good time. I mean we talked for hours. Everything
was good.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
But I mean, how much can I say on this show?

Speaker 4 (04:53):
You know what?

Like you no, you say whatever, and I'll decide what
I'll decide. I gotta, I gotta.

But I don't want to hurt her feelings because she
was nice, but she has Okay, well, we don't.

Want to feelings either, but Tom, she called us. Okay,
so if there's a story here, then then she wants
to hear it. We want to hear it. What happened?

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (05:11):
Well, so, like I said, everything was good, so got
a little We got a little drunk. And that wasn't why,
but we got a little drunk, and then we ended
up going back to her place and you know, messing
around a little bit. And you know, when I went
to kiss her, I noticed that she still had a
retainer in or something. I'm I'm really sure what it was.
And I was like, uh, you know, like can you

take that out? And she's like, no, my doctor says,
I can't, right, oh, because.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
You're supposed to be yeah, because you're supposed to wear
them twenty two hours a day or twenty hours a
day or whatever it is. It's yeah, but I mean
I think there are.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Okay, twenty hours. Okay, but we you know, take it
out for now, like well.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
You know, right taking it out right, right, And so
I mean that's a little bit of a red flag
to me that I was trying to get intimate with
her and she's not taking out her retainer and you know,
it just was like kind of off putting.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
And you know, it had still had food on it
from the restaurant.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Like, so she didn't take it out to eat. She
hasn't taken this thing out of taking very seriously, I
didn't notice while we were eating.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
I was just you know, I didn't notice that she
took it. I didn't notice she had it.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
I mean, you know, congratulations to the the technology.

Is good like it looked.

And it wasn't visib line. It's clear. So you know,
you can't necessarily.

Like like a hard plastic in her mouth when I

Kissing her, right, oh boy, she says, well, I don't know,
I don't I don't know what she was eating with.
And I just know that when I tried to kiss
and she still had it in her mouth, and so like, okay,
So I thought, okay, so then we're done.

I guess I guess we'll maybe we'll meet.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
Again and next time, like you can ask your doctor's
permission if you could take out your retainer or whatever.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Right, But but then she with the retainer.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Oh I'm gonna throw up a minute.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
I'm allowed to say that.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
I mean, I don't know you did you know it
might be a little smooth. I'd like to hear more.
I'd like to hear more. So she did that without
taking her uh retainer out? Okay, all right?

Speaker 3 (07:30):
And I wasn't going to stop her.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
But I was like at the same time, like crazy,
you know.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Of course not why would you stop somebody?

Speaker 6 (07:38):
Crazy?

Enough? All right? Let me is that? Well? I guess
that's those are only two real important parts. I mean,
I don't know what happened after that, but you.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Know, nothing happened after that. I was just kind of like,
all right, I have a.

Lot of other questions too, but I can't. I can't
ask them.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Oh, that's what you're concerned about, is just called that's dedication.
She kept pertainer. Yeah, you know what, he took her retainer,
put it in his mouth and then let me bring
Ashley in. Ashley, I mean, I would have a problem
with that, but I'm too caught up on the INVISI line.
You know, with the thing Ashley, you you can take

the retainer out, you know, for the amount of time
it takes to do those sorts of things.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
I think, Oh, listen, I'm just following my dentist and
my doctor's orders. I guess I spent a lot of
money on this.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
You're with your dentists where you're like, now, what about
when I you know, I mean I would imagine your
Dennis would say it was okay to take it out
for that.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
I mean, I wasn't getting that specific with him, but
she you know, I spent a lot of money on it.
I'm not here trying to make myself better, and I'm frankly,
you know, I've never had this issue with another hookup before,
so I don't know why Tom has such a problem
with it. Wow, I must not care because I have
him VISI line, and I take it out for lots
of things.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Yeah, I mean I had it too, and I I
definitely took it out to kiss people and to eat
and other things. Yeah. Yeah, I feel very confident. Now.
I am not currently a dental professional, but I feel
pretty confident that it would be best to take it
out for some activities. But you know, what do I know?

Speaker 3 (09:18):
Yeah, I mean, I.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Oh, scratch, Okay, all right, I'm going to leave that there.
Girls scratches I thought they would be with anyone might
have like prongs on the inside of mine.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
That's why I'm like mortified because it's trying to like
keep me from grinding.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Yeah, I don't know. I think I think we can
all agree. Maybe next time we take it out. But okay, well,
I'm going to ask the question.

Speaker 4 (09:43):

Speaker 1 (09:44):
This is a new one. I don't know that we've
we've heard about We've heard about people taking their retainer
out and being very public about it and not being
discreet and it's gross, but we've not heard this one.
Would you like to try again? Tom? Maybe she can
consult her physician beforehand and then or her doctor and
then we can you know, get to get rid of
the retainer and then everything else will go fine.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
No, I'm going to have to say no on that one.
This is no dog yeah, too too dogmatic about following doctor's.

Speaker 6 (10:12):
Orders, you know, but the one time was okay, yeah,
nobody you know, well while we're here, but hey, he congratulations,
you see you and your straight teeth, and I hey,
there are probably a lot of dentists and orthodonyis listing
now going uh wait, wait to go on the compliance,
you know, because it's I'm sure it's hard to get
people to really wear them the way that you.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
You're very serious about this.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Yeah, but I mean, you know, you're right, and maybe
I can get one of them and go on a
nicer date and Tom can have fun with his girls
with bad teeth.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Okay, okay take that, yeah bad crooked teeth lady, are
you going out? Okay, I don't mind.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
I don't mind a little crooked teeth. Honestly.
