It's the Fred Show, Ashley, good morning, Welcome to the program.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
How are you you know what?

Speaker 3 (01:01):
It's our pleasure, At least so far, it's our pleasure.
We'll see if we still feel that way. And a
little bit. But what's going on with this guy? Tom?
Why do you feel like you're being ghosted and we
need all the backstory. How did you meet? Tell us
about any dates you've been on, and then where things
are now.

Speaker 5 (01:14):
Yeah, so I met Tom on Bumble. We've met up
once and went out for some drinks and then honestly,
I thought it all went really really well. I mean,
we connected on Bumble and the date only you know,
everything only got better. We like a lot of the
same things. We like baseball, travel, we like the same
books and trying new places to eat. All everything seemed

(01:39):
to line up really well. And on the date, we
sat there for hours and we talked about everything and
it was so relaxed and easy. I will admit we
did get a little tipsy on the date and we
did end up going back to his house. Okay, yeah,
And I mean, I you know, it went really really well,

(02:02):
at least.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
I thought so.

Speaker 6 (02:04):
And I had a good time.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
But I have not offered anything from him since, not a.

Speaker 6 (02:12):
Text, no calls.

Speaker 5 (02:13):
I've sent him a couple of memes and he has
not replied. And I even went and checked and he
has unmatched with me on Bumble.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Okay, So you I mean, if I were on this
date and we wind up back at somebody's place and
stuff happens like that's all good, Like I would think
everything was going great, chemistry and all that, and then
so for that to happen, and then not only have
you not heard from him, but he also unmatched you.
That's a conscious effort not to see you. Like this
guy's absolutely trying to avoid you.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
Yeah, that's how I took it. But I have no
idea what went wrong.

Speaker 6 (02:48):
I thought everything was going great.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Yeah, well that's where we come in. We're gonna call
this guy Tom. You'll be on the phone at the
same time. We're gonna ask these questions on your behalf,
and at some point you're welcome to jump in on
the call. But the hope is that you know, I
don't know. Maybe he was so satisfied with you that
he just erased the app and that's why he went
away on the app. That could happen, Reiki. Maybe probably not,
but maybe I don't know. You had to look on

(03:11):
your face. I want to know what you think. Yeah,
who knows, Maybe that's what happened. Maybe maybe he's been busy,
maybe he's not been feeling well. Who knows. Maybe we
can fix this and set you guys up on another
date that we pay for.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Sound good, Let's see what's going on?

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Hard too, waiting by the phone after Gaga back in
three minutes.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
You've got to hear this.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
A Fred show, maybe gog A Fred Show is on
the radio on the iHeart app. Listen live and catch
up anytime. Search for the Fred Show on demand to
make us a pre set. Hey, Ashley, okay, let's call
this guy Tom. You met on a dating app, you
went on a date, you thought the date went great,
so well that you wind up back at his place.
Some stuff goes on, you know, some adult activity when

(03:51):
a man loves a woman kind of thing, except you.
You haven't heard from him since the date, and he
unmatched you on the app.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
So why Yeah, I would I would love to know.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
Yeah, great, that's the question. Let's call this guy Tom
right now. Good luck, Ashley?

Speaker 5 (04:07):
Thank you?

Speaker 6 (04:14):
Hell?

Speaker 4 (04:15):
Hi is this Tom? Yeah? Hey Tom, good morning. My
name is Fred.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
I'm calling from the Fred Show, the Morning radio show,
and I have to tell you that we are on
the radio right now, and I would need your permission
to continue with the call. Can we chat for just
a second, would you mind?

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (04:31):
Okay, thank you very much.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
We're calling on behalf of a woman named Ashley, who
I guess you matched with on an app recently, and
you guys went out.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Do you remember going out with her?

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (04:40):
Man, are you serious?

Speaker 5 (04:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (04:42):
I remember?

Speaker 4 (04:43):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
So she reached out to us, Tom, and she had
was she had nice things to say about you, and
are you okay with her?

Speaker 4 (04:55):
This is just kind of weird. Yeah, I mean it's fair. Yeah,
but let me just let me just explain on the phone.

Speaker 6 (05:03):
On the phone now.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Maybe but so so she uh, but she liked you
and she described to us to date and said that
she had a lot of noises but a lot of moaning,
Like is this what? Just what happened? I'm done talking?
What happened? Why are you not calling her back?

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Moaning?

Speaker 6 (05:22):
Tom?

Speaker 4 (05:23):
So?

Speaker 6 (05:24):
I mean, haven't she was cool? I mean I liked her.
She was cool. I mean I feel bad, I know,
like I feel bad, but.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
So there was chemistry. We had a good We had
a good time. I mean we talked for hours. Everything
was good.

Speaker 6 (05:40):
But I mean, how much can I say on the show?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
You know what?

Speaker 4 (05:43):
Like you no?

Speaker 3 (05:45):
You say whatever, and I'll decide what I'll decide I gotta.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
I don't want to.

Speaker 6 (05:50):
Hurt her feeling because she was nice, but she has.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Okay, well, we don't want to her feelings either, but Tom,
she called us okay, so if there's a start here,
then then she wants to hear it.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
We want to hear it. What happened?

Speaker 6 (06:00):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Well, so, like I said, everything was good, So got
a little we got a little drunk, and that wasn't why,
but we got a little drunk, and then we ended
up going back to her place and you know, messing
around a little bit, and you know, when I went
to kiss her, I noticed that she still had a
retainer in or something. I'm not really sure what it was.
And I was like, uh yo, like can you take

(06:22):
that out? And she's like no, my doctor says I can't, right, Oh, because.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
You're supposed to be yeah, because you're supposed to wear
them twenty two hours a day or twenty hours a
day or whatever it is.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Yeah, but I.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Mean I think there are twenty hours okay, but we
you know, take it out for now, like, well, you.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Know, right, you get it taken it out right, right.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
And so I mean that's a little bit of a
red flag to me that I was just trying to
get intimate with her and she's not taking out her retainer,
and you know, it just was like kind of off putting.
And you know, I had still had food on it
from the restaurant.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Like she didn't take it out. She hasn't taken this
thing out of and she's taking very seriously.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
I didn't notice while we were eating. I was just
you know, I didn't notice that she took it. I
didn't notice she had it. I mean, you know, congratulations
to the the technology is.

Speaker 6 (07:15):
Good, like it looked.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
I didn't notice she had it, and it wasn't visible line,
it's clear. So you know, you can't necessarily.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Like like a hard plastic in her mouth when I
start or whatever when I start kissing her, right, oh boy,
She says, well, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (07:32):
I don't I don't know what she's leating with.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
And I just know that when I tried to kiss
and she still had it in her mouth, and so like, okay,
So I thought, okay, so then we're done. I guess
I guess we'll maybe we'll meet again and next time,
like you can ask your doctor's permission if you could
take out your retainer or whatever.

Speaker 6 (07:48):
Right, But but then she with the retainer.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
Oh I'm allowed to say that.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
I mean, I don't know, you did you know it
might be a little smoothed to hear more. I'd like
to hear more. So she did that without taking her
uh retainer out?

Speaker 4 (08:18):
Okay, all right?

Speaker 1 (08:20):
And I wasn't going to stop her, but I was
like at the same time, I come on, of course crazy,
you know.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Of course not why would you stop somebody crazy enough?
All right, let me is that? Well, I guess that's
those are only two real important parts. I mean, I
don't know what happened after that, but you know.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Nothing happened after that. I was just kind of like,
all right, I have a lot.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
Of other questions too, but I can't I can't ask them.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (08:45):
Oh, that's what you're concerned about, is just called that dedication.
She kept her retainer.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Yeah, you know what, he took her retainer, put it
in his mouth, and then.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
Guys, I'm not okay, let me bring Ashley in.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Actually, I mean I would the problem with that, but
I'm too caught up on the invisil line. You know,
with the thing Ashley, you you can take the retainer out,
you know, for the amount of time it takes to
do those sorts of things.

Speaker 6 (09:11):
I think, oh, listen.

Speaker 5 (09:12):
I'm just following my dentist and my doctor's orders. I
guess I spent a lot of money on this.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
You're trying with your dentists where you're like, now, what
about when I you know, I mean, I would imagine
your Dennis would say it was okay to take it
out for that.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
I mean, I wasn't getting that specific with him, but
she you know, I spent a lot of money on it.
I'm not here trying to make myself better, and I've frankly,
you know, I've never had this issue with another hookup before,
so I don't know why Tom has such a problem
with it.

Speaker 7 (09:43):
Wow, I must not care because I have him visil
line and I take it out for lots of things.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
And yeah, I mean I had it too, and I
definitely took it out to kiss people.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
And to eat and other things. Yeah, yeah, I I
feel very confident.

Speaker 5 (09:58):
Now.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
I am not currently a until professional, but I feel
pretty confident that it would be best to take it
out for some activities.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
But you know what, do I know?

Speaker 5 (10:07):
Yeah, I mean, I just.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Scratch okay, all right, I'm going to leave that there. Girl,
scratches I thought they would be.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
With one might have like prongs on the inside of mind.

Speaker 7 (10:21):
That's why I'm like mortified, because it's trying to like
keep me from grinding.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Yeah, I don't know. I think I think we can
all agree. Maybe next time we take it out. But okay, well,
I'm going to ask the question, Tom. This is a
new one. I don't know that we've we've heard about
we've heard about people taking their retainer out and being
very public about it and not being discreet and that's gross,
but we've not heard this one.

Speaker 4 (10:44):
Would you like to try again?

Speaker 5 (10:45):
Tom?

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Maybe she can consult her physician beforehand and then or
her doctor or dentist and then we can, you know,
get to get rid of the retainer and then everything
else will go fine.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
No, I'm going to have to say no on that one.
This is dog yeah too dogmatic a while following doctor's orders, you.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Know, but the one time was okay, yeah, nobody, you know,
well while we're here, but hey, he congratulations, you see
you in your straight teeth and I hey, there are
probably a lot of dentists and orthodonis listening now, going
uh wait, wait to go on the compliance, you know,
because I'm sure it's hard to get people to really
wear them the way that you You're very serious about this.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
Yeah, but I mean, you know, you're right, and maybe
I can get one of them and go on a
nicer date and Tom can have fun with his girls
with bad teeth.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Okay, okay, take that, Yeah, bad crooked teeth? Lady, are
you going out? Okay, I don't mind.

Speaker 6 (11:36):
I don't mind a little crooked teeth.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
Honestly, Well, that's great, it's worth.

Speaker 6 (11:40):
There's worth traits to have, you know what I mean, Like.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
You know, Dyl there are You're right, but hey, good
luck to both of you. Thank you for your time.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
Calon's entertainment report is on The Freas Show.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
If you missed this sad news.

Speaker 7 (11:55):
Billy Joel canceled a lot of his upcoming shows, actually
all of his upcoming concerts, because of a brain disorder
called normal pressure hydrocephalus.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
I hope I'm saying that right.

Speaker 7 (12:05):
The condition happens when excess fluid accumulates in the brain
and it can affect your memory, concentration, movement, and more.
He's also and this would explain why been having issues
with hearing and vision and balance and has been told
by doctors to take some time off. He will undergo
physical therapy to help with this condition, but who knows when.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Those shows will be made up.

Speaker 7 (12:27):
His daughter Alexa shared her admiration for her dad, writing,
my dad is the strongest and most resilient man I've
ever known. His wife Alexis and ex wife model Christie
Brinkley also shared love for him on social.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
Media, calling him our piano man. So I hope he
gets better soon.

Speaker 7 (12:43):
Ditty's legal team is asking the judge to strike everything
about Kid Cutty's Porsche being set on fire from his
ongoing trial records. His lawyers argue that Cutty's claims about
Ditty's alleged involvement in his twenty twelve car explosion are
nothing but opinion and should not.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Be allowed in If You Missed It.

Speaker 7 (13:01):
Cutty told the court last week that he quote knew
did he had something to do with the Maltov cocktail
attack on his car after ending things with Cassie, but
did admit that there were no witnesses, fingerprints, or proof linking.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Diddy to the arson.

Speaker 7 (13:14):
He did say, though, that years later, did he saw
him at a party and walked up to him and
apologized for quote all that bs. But remember also when
Kid cut he says that he called Puff told him
he was driving home, and did he said, I'm at
your house waiting for you. When he got back, did
he wasn't there, but some things in his house were
destroyed and his dog was locked in a room. So

(13:36):
I don't blame him for coming to that conclusion, but
it will be interesting to see what the judge decides
to do with that. Drake has confirmed that Ovo Fests
will be returning this summer. He made the announcement during
a surprise appearance with Central Sea to perform the song
no Kia. He told the crowd, I'll see you this summer.
By the way, Ovo Fest will be back this year.
He hasn't shared the lineup, but said, you know to

(13:58):
Central Cea, you need to be there. Started Oviofest in
twenty ten and it was held each year through twenty
nineteen in Toronto and lastly, I don't know it was
in the water over the weekend, but during her concert
in Montreal, Shakira slipped and fell on stage while performing
her two thousand and one hit Wherever.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
She quickly regained her composures.

Speaker 7 (14:18):
Yeah, she came in and then she left. U, she's
a pro.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
She stood up again and continued.

Speaker 7 (14:24):
No one really noticed, but elsewhere, Megan Moroney also took
a tumble on stage while performing the title track to
her album Am I Okay at the Boston Calling Festival.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
That was Friday night. It was a little rainy.

Speaker 7 (14:35):
When she took the stage and then she walked out
towards the front. During the opening bars of her song,
her little cowboy boot slipped out from under her. She
lost her balance, ultimately popping down on the ground. She
immediately just crossed her legs and relaxed and started laughing
with her band and the crowd. But some tells me
someone got fired over that, over that slippery stage.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
You know, I'm not gonna say why. That's my opinion,
but that is my opinion. So I hope it was
nobody's fault, and I hope they're okay.

Speaker 7 (15:04):

Speaker 7 (15:24):
Fact Fred fun.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
So much.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
Guys.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
Did you know before we had toilet paper, Americans used
corn husks instead of toilet paper cause we didn't have
it corn husks, which I think is what Kailin's been using.

Speaker 6 (15:50):
I do.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
Yeah, you might explain some of the issues that you're having.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Yeah, you're asking people to look at walking around the
office saying hey, will you take a look at this
for me?

Speaker 4 (15:56):
And I you know, I love you.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
But I said, now, oh, yeah, you did I draw
the line?

Speaker 4 (16:00):
I draw the line at that.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
Yeah, but that makes sense. That's why you know I'm
in pain.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
Yeah, yeah, I know. You eat a lot of corn,
but you can throw the husks.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Well, you know, I like to do things naturally.

Speaker 3 (16:10):
I'll get you or something. Yeah, well, yeah, I do.

Speaker 7 (16:15):
Try to buy bamboo toilet paper and people get upset
because it's weber.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
I know, it's nothing, nothing less shocking to me. I know,
thats right.

Speaker 4 (16:22):
