Chicago's number one hit music station. My friend Amy wither
Right one one hundred truck Wreck is year with me. Amy.
I always love talking to you because usually what it

(00:45):
means around this time is that you're about to do
something very generous for someone who listens to our show,
and we are extremely grateful that you are willing to
do that, and we were grateful for this partnership too.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Yeah, I'm all that's fun stuff and it's summertime and
everything's expensive. I'm we're going to help out Sarah and
her what does she have? She is an eighth grader,
ava a mom.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
I know I've told you this story in person before,
but maybe i've told Hehrm on the air as well.
But when you first partnered with us a couple of
years ago, a truck driver texted us and said, uh,
I can't believe you're going to advertise for this lawyer
that does all these truck wracks. I can't believe you,
like you shouldn't you know? Well, yeah, I'm never listening again.
And then you gave one of our listeners five thousand
dollars for something, and the same person texted Bag and said, Okay,

(01:28):
never mind, I take that back.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Oh my god, that is the best story ever.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
I take that back. But let's talk to Sarah. Sarah,
good morning, How are you? Good morning?

Speaker 4 (01:38):
I'm good. How are you?

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Sarah doing great? Amy Witherright, my friend from one one
hundred truck wreck is here, and that that is going
to be good for you. Sarah. Yes, yeah, I'm so excited. Yeah.
Whenever I whenever I show up this is probably I
was really young for this. But whenever I show up
with Amy Witherwright, it's like when Ed McMahon used to
show up at your door with a big check, like
something good's about to happen for you. But I have note.

(02:00):
Can I share it with everybody? Sarah? Do you mind?

Speaker 5 (02:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Go ahead, it says, I mean Fred. I would use
a free month of rent because I'm a single mom
and my daughter Ava graduated eighth grade on June third,
and I would like to have the month freed up
to do something special for her. She's the best kid,
and I wanted to know how proud I am for
first of all, congratulations, said Ava. That's that's a big accomplishment.
And she's going to high school where.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
Yeah, she is going to high school rolling.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Metals, Okay, perfect? And so you would like to sort
of say, hey, I need some extra money. I'm going
to pay the mortgage, but then i'd have some extra
money to do something really fun with Ava for her graduation.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
She has a ton of friends that are going on vacation,
you know, this summer, and I would love to be
able to take her somewhere just the two of us,
do something, you know, really special and just show how
proud I am.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yeah, what do you have in mind?

Speaker 3 (02:50):
She really wants.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
To go somewhere tropical, maybe Punchakana. I'm not even all right,
you know it? Yeah, she can be well fancy by.
You know, it's been tough as it is for everybody.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
So I think when I graduated eighth grade my parents
patted me on the back and said, don't screw up
in high school.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
That I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I'm pretty sure I got a pat on the back
and was pushed the lawnmower, got pushed to me to
go mow the art.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
There you go, There you go, Amy, what should be doing? Bye? Way? We?
I mean you?

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Well I love that poon Takana. I mean, come on,
I like fancy. Who doesn't like fancy? And you and
Ava should should certainly go. So I'm the one eight
hundred truck wreck has got to help you with that
twenty five hundred dollars and get you there.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
There you go twenty five hundred.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Oh god, thank you so much. That is that is
going to help so much. Thank you, guys.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
And you asked for lesson so Amy's always always hooking
it up. So congratulations to Ava Sarah. I hope you
guys have a great trip together and can you know,
make some memories and uh, and she'll get ready for
high school that way.

Speaker 6 (03:56):
Morning.

Speaker 3 (03:56):

Speaker 3 (05:01):
One Go Yes Deer Blog.

Speaker 7 (05:04):
So this week I had to plan a goodbye dinner
for another one of my friends that I'm losing to Michigan,
where I'm from, and I'm not happy about it. I
started with a ton of friends here and they all
keep going.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
I told you this is going to happen, and you
told me that it wouldn't. But I told you there
is a certain age which people start to just and
not not your friends anymore. But life just takes people,
you know, for sure directions.

Speaker 7 (05:28):
I was just saying that I didn't think I would
lose my friendships, and thankfully I haven't yet. But childcare
is expensive, and my friends are going to Michigan.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
To Yeah, my friends are still my friends. I just
don't see it anymore. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (05:39):
Yeah, Well, luckily I go back all the time, so
I also see her. But I'm very depressed about it.
But anyway, so she.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Was like, I want to go somewhere, you know, a
little bit.

Speaker 7 (05:46):
Nicer that we can take pictures somewhere there that's picturesque.
So I picked this place that looks pretty reviews, It
looks nice online.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
I have never been there.

Speaker 7 (05:56):
An hour before our reservation, I received a text about
the dress code, and I would just like to share
it with you guys, because my jaw hit the floor. Okay,
so it said, thank you for booking with and I'm
not going to say the name.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
We look forward to seeing you. Thank you for booking
with Chillis.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Yes.

Speaker 7 (06:15):
As a reminder, starting at four pm daily, we kindly
ask that guests follow our sophisticated casual dinner attire to
ensure the best dining experience for all. Okay, please refrain
from wearing baseball caps, flip flops, non dress shorts, and
athletic wear which we've heard this before.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Right here we go. Party accessories such as crowns.

Speaker 7 (06:38):
Veils, or extremely extremely revealing clothing are not permitted. Gentlemen
must avoid wearing graphic T shirts, sleeveless shirts, or open shoes.
Please be aware that any decision regarding permitting entry to
the restaurant is entirely at the management's discretion.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
What the hell defended you?

Speaker 3 (07:01):
It's not that I just yeah, actually, yeah I did.
I've never heard like, so now we can't.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
A veil, like why are we wearing crowns around? Were
crown Maybe it's someone's.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Birthday, bachelorettes birthdays veils like wow, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Here's where, Here's where. Here's where I think it's coming from.
Is I think, first of all, I think our definition
of dressing up, or our definitions of what's elevated fashion
and casual is is just like it's casual casual has
become cut off teas or yoga pants and and you know,

(07:41):
flip flops. I mean, honestly, like people who think they're
dressing up to go to work or wearing golf clothes,
which I don't think is dressing up. I don't care.
I'm fine with it. But I do think that like
as a society, what we consider going out apparel to
go to a nice restaurant is probably not what it
once was. Right like when we were growing up, but
we went to like a nice place, button down shirt,

(08:03):
like nicer pants, not jeans. And I think now people's
definition of what dressing up is is different, and so
I think what the restaurant's probably saying is we're going
for a vibe. We own the place. We don't want
you to treat this like you just came from the
pool or something. That's what I think. There's no I've
heard far more egregious.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
I'm not offended by that part.

Speaker 7 (08:22):
I'm offended by why can't I have my cleavage out
and have a tiny veil on or a crown on
if it's my bachelorette, Like that is weirdo behavior.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
I mean, it's extreme, certainly extreme, it's certainly extreme.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
It's a funny country.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
I don't know. They must have had people in there
who like, we're extremely distracting with costumes. I don't know.

Speaker 7 (08:41):
I have no idea a graphic tea on a dude
can be cool with like a nice pair of jeans
and a nice pair of shoes, Like, I'm okay with that.

Speaker 8 (08:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
I got kicked out of a restaurant once for wearing
a sweater that had a hood attached to it that
was considered a hoodie, and I was asked to leave.
See I just now that offended me. But I'll tell
you what I did. Ever, I will never go back
to that restaurant. By the way, my hoodie quote unquote
was not cheap. It was a nice brand and I
looked nice. But hey, that has a hood on it.

(09:11):
We said no hoodies, you can't eat here, or you
can wear your jacket during the whole meal. Now again, like,
is that extreme? I think it's extreme. Is that like
sort of interpreting taco with a sandwich a little bit?
You know, I got a hook on it. It's a hoodie,
you know. I think what they meant was like a hoodie,
like like a champion, like a sporting something you would wear,

(09:33):
you know, to the jail. I mean, I think that's
what they meant when they made that policy. But they
also said no sneakers this place, and you know the place.
You can't wear sneakers in this place. Well you could,
but women can wear sandals, but I can't wear like
Jordan Ones for example, and the Jordan Ones that I
happened to have. It was a hoodie and I had
Jordan Ones on, so I was out. I was just

(09:55):
I was completely upright. But my thing, like, it's their restaurant.
I guess if that's what they want. They can do that,
and then you can make the choice not to go.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Well, I won't go. It's not the whole vibe period,
like we were. I texted it to my friends who
always dressed up and they were like, whoa.

Speaker 7 (10:08):
Like, I don't know, it's just it was it's it
was nervous.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Yeah, I mean revealing clothing.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
That's weird. I don't know how you define that exactly.
And by the way, like the more the merrier there,
Like I'm same, I don't want to go to a
place where you can't show them off, come off.

Speaker 9 (10:23):
Ling is different though, and now you know how I
feel about this, Like if I wear something versus someone
who's forty pounds lighter than me and has you know,
a cups, we're gonna look very different. So what do
you I say, who's revealing and who's not?

Speaker 7 (10:33):
And they put in there like it's up to our discretion.
So there's not a fine line. It's not like you
can't do this or that. It's like we can decide
if you have too much cleavage, then you're out.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
It made me feel like I was. I was very nervous.
I was like, oh, my gosh, what do I wear?

Speaker 1 (10:45):
I've seen worse than that. But I also think if you,
I mean, unfortunately, they can do that and then just
don't go back if you if you think that's too much.
The cleavage things weird. But maybe maybe people come in
and they make these big spectacles and they you know,
they got all this crap on, and I don't. I've
seen it. I definitely seen like and I hate to
pick on bachelorette parties, but I've seen birthday parties and
bachelor at parties where they become the focus of the

(11:07):
restaurant because it's so over the top. You know, You've
got veils and and whatever, BoA's and all this stuff,
and it's like, it doesn't hurt my feelings. But if
the vibe of the if the vibe that they're going
for is different than that, then I guess they say
don't come here, and that's that's their risk, right like
that people want to go down party, Yes, I know
you do. And let's just get to the root of

(11:27):
why this upsets you is that you you are always
low cleave and you're always running the crowd, you know,
And I get it, I understand, but there are other
Cheesecake Facts would be a great place for you.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Yeah, we're we're going there next time.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
Yeah, honestly, honestly, you've ever been left waiting by the phone.
It's the Fred Show. Hey, will Lo, good morning, Welcome
to the show. How are you okay? So I just
don't do it? Will I? Like this, don't just get
run into it, you know, like I don't even need
to ask any questions. It's fine. So yeah, let me

(12:01):
just set it up. Though. You are calling about a
guy named Jake who you met on Instagram? Now, Willow
what happened after that?

Speaker 8 (12:08):
So he like replied to one of my stories and
so yeah, I replied back, and I thought he was.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
Cute, and he got my number and then we've been like.

Speaker 8 (12:22):
Texting every day, and then it even started to get
kind of like hot and heavy, and so we yeah,
we were like ramping up and I to like meet
in person, and I was really excited. But then, like
out of nowhere, one day, he ghosted me. And then
I checked on Instagram and he unfollowed me.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
So this dude was a virtual stranger, Like he didn't
you don't know him from anybody. He just saw your
stuff on Instagram. But you never even made it to
the date. So you're you're asking a question like, it's
not like you were ghosted after meeting him. You never
even got to meet him. You had a date plan
and then nothing.

Speaker 6 (12:59):
Yeah, but we were talking for like almost a month.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Yeah, that's wild. So why would you then all of
a sudden, I mean, I guess that's the question that
we're going to try and get an answered for. But
why would you spend a month talking to someone just
to ghost them? I don't know. Yeah, yeah, all right, Well,
will let's we're going to play a song. Come back
in a couple of minutes after the song, and we're
going to call this guy Jake, see if we can
get him on the phone. We're going to ask these
questions on your behalf. You'll be on the phone too.

(13:24):
At some point. You're welcome to jump in, and the
hope is that we can figure out what's going on.
Maybe he has a good explanation, and then set you
up on what would be I guess, a first date
and pay for it. All right, hey, Willow, welcome back.
Let's call this guy Jake. You guys you met on
Instagram because he commented on one of your stories. He
was a stranger. You wound up following each other and

(13:44):
talking for a month. You talked about a date, but
then the day came and there was no confirmation. Date
never happened. And then you realize he unfollowed you on
top of that, so you're like, wait a minute, why
did I invest a month like what happened? Exactly? All right,
let's call this guy now and figure it out. Good luck, Willow?

Speaker 4 (14:13):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (14:13):
This Jake. Yeah, this is Jake, Hey Jay, good morning.
N Him is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred Show,
the Morning radio show, and I have to tell you
that we are on the radio right now, and I
would need your permission to continue with the call. Could
which app for just a second? Would you mind? I've
never done this before? Is this U have ever been
on the radio? I mean? Is that a yes? Is

(14:34):
that cool? I mean, I'll tell you I just needed
I just need to say, okay, yeah, I guess, okay, perfect? Thanks,
we're calling on the That was a yes to me.
We're calling on behalf of a woman h that I
guess you met and chatted with on Instagram. Her name
is Willow and you had a date plan. Do you
remember Willow.

Speaker 5 (14:52):
Uh yeah, yeah, listen, I'm uh, I'm just not.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
That into her. H I don't want to go out
on a date with her. Well, how how do we
get okay? Because she called us and told us that
that you initiated contact with her on Instagram. You commented
on something and you guys chat it for a month.
She said, you chet it for a month and talked
about a date and then the date never happened. Anyone
followed her. So she wants to know why she invested

(15:18):
a month in someone who was only going to ghost her. Like,
what what changed?

Speaker 5 (15:26):
I am sure if I adn't allowed to talk about
this on the radio.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
You let me decide. If you're allowed, you just do
the talking and I'll do the figuring out about that part.

Speaker 5 (15:35):
All right, I'm gonna all right, I'll try to keep it,
but please Basically, at one point, like during.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
I don't know, steamy.

Speaker 5 (15:48):
Conversation, I guess you could say she told me that
she had never reached the.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Final destination of a hookup. Wow, this this conversation got,
you know, you go from from commenting on her story
to talking about you know, some really personal details about intimacy. Right,
So she'd never. I mean, she's never reached the peak. No, yeah, okay,
she's never had one of those. Sounds like a challenge

(16:19):
to me, Like, I don't know, why is that the
reason why you're not talking to her anymore? Like that
sounds like something that would be like, well, let me
give this a let me give this a whirl.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
Yeah, I'm just not into that, Like that's the same Like.

Speaker 5 (16:29):
She's I just think she's obviously difficult to please and
she's thirty three.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
That to me, that's a red flag. If I get
thirty three.

Speaker 10 (16:38):
If you've never if that's ever happened, that's about you,
not about the other people I've you know, like there's something,
there's other stuff.

Speaker 5 (16:45):
Going on there, and I just I don't want to
I don't want the challenge.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
I don't want to. Well, I was going to say
that let's say you're right, Jake, Like, let's say this
is some sort of issue about any number of things
that is preventing her from getting there. Let's just say
that a devil's advocate, Like, who's to say that in
the course of you getting to know each other and
and she, you know, her becoming comfortable with you, and
all these things who's to say that that you don't
figure it out together? Like it's maybe you're the guy

(17:13):
to crack the code.

Speaker 5 (17:14):
Yeah, I'm just I'm too old to be a teacher, if.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
That's what it's.

Speaker 5 (17:19):
It's just like I just think she sounds it sounds
like she's difficult and I'm just not into that.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
Well, when you're as open minded and eager and hardworking
as you are and dedicated and I you know you're
the perfect guy for the job, clearly. I mean, what
is it that you want? Like you want the person
just to like it just happens automatically, like they look
at you and there.

Speaker 5 (17:39):
I just want somebody, some one who knows, who knows themselves,
who understands, like, who knows how how they work, how
what they like.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
We're too old.

Speaker 10 (17:49):
To be trying to figure this out on it at
this stage.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
I mean, but who am they right? Who's to say
that that no one's I mean, maybe no one's ever
taken the time to to care enough. Uh let me ask.
I mean, Willow's here. I forgot to mention it. Willow
is here, So you shared with him Willow? Yeah, sorry,
but I'm very forgetful you shared with Jake that you've
never reached the peak of performance in an intimate experience.

(18:14):
I'm you know, I'm trying to keep this a little
bit PG, and this dude basically is not up for
the challenge. Does It sounds to me like you don't
want to have to do any work or investigation or anything,
which isn't that part of a new relationship anyway. I mean,
I guess that that can be daunting, but not everyone's
the same. But Willow, I mean, what, you've been very
quiet throughout this whole thing. What do you think.

Speaker 11 (18:32):
Well, I'm like very embarrassed, and I'm very mad that
that's the reason I like chose to be vulnerable with you,
because like, and that's like why you're deciding to like
judge me and not even like I mean, we haven't
even been on a date. This is crazy, like like.

Speaker 8 (18:54):
We did to me. It like doesn't make any sense.

Speaker 11 (18:57):
Like I've tried and I'm not difficult, but I was
just trying to be vulnerable with you.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
And then now it's I mean.

Speaker 6 (19:04):
I can't believe you right now.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
Honestly, have you ever had a guy, uh disqualify you
or not have an interest in sort of going there
with you when you share this information or is this
the first time.

Speaker 11 (19:14):
I mean, I don't think I've ever shared this early before,
and I guess I'll never do that again. But this
is no I mean, honestly, I think the problem is
most guys don't care one way or the other if
I do or not.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
Oh I hate that.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
Yeah, I hate that too. I do think there are
I mean, from my female friends and you guys and whatever.
I mean, I think there are guys out there that
really care, and there are guys that really don't.

Speaker 6 (19:37):
Sure.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
It sounds like Jake doesn't want to put in the
work though, And I get Jake, I get that it
could be daunting, like if someone tells me it's never happened.
I hear your points, but like, I don't know that
it's the reason why I wouldn't even try if I
like someone. It's not that I don't want to put
in the work.

Speaker 10 (19:50):
I just don't want to put in the work if.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
It's not going to go anywhere. Like I just like
I'm happy to learn, like, yeah, right.

Speaker 10 (19:55):
Everyone's new because all the other guys probably are to say,
I mean, like, I think she's probably been faking it,
which is also a big problem.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
For a while, they've been figuring it with me, They've
been figured they'd be faking it. I mean, let's let's
not let's like get ourselves here.

Speaker 7 (20:17):
I do think it's important for women to try and
explore their own bodies, if I can say that on
the air, And I'm not like shaming you for not
being able to figure that out yet, but it certainly
is important because we are a little more complicated.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
I would say, yeah, I'm sure it helps to know
what you like so that you can communicate that to
your partner. But at the same time, I think if
your partner cared enough, then maybe you could do that together.
And anything just doesn't sound like he wants to do that. Yeah,
so well there's the answer. Like you were vulnerable, you
shared some information that was very honest. I don't think
you shouldeel bad about that. Yeah, Jake's not he's not

(20:50):
down for it.

Speaker 6 (20:51):
Yeah, I mean I'm not down for either.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
Now.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
Yeah, okay, all right, Well, hey, Jake, I mean, you know,
I guess no sweat off your back because you weren't
going to talk to her anymore. And now she has
an answer as to why.

Speaker 7 (21:03):
And I'll send you a link, girl, Okay, because I'm
like worry, like I want to help her out to
I'm not.

Speaker 8 (21:08):
But.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
I'd like to hear more about your services, right hey,
I don't have services for her. I mean we are
a full service operator around here. We've been known to
do a lot of things for our audience. But like, wow, Keiki,
that's very kind of you to offer to be a tutor.

Speaker 7 (21:25):
Surely somebody right out there a product I might send
a link for you know.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Okay, Well, you know the ladies will take over from
here and Karin's Entertainment report. He is on the Freas Show.

Speaker 7 (21:37):
Karen Reid celebrated her huge victory in court Wednesday at
a steakhouse in Massachusetts after being found not guilty of
murdering Boston police officer John O'Keefe. She showed up at
Mastro's Ocean Club and ordered multiple seafood towers, a spread
of slice steaks including ribbis and filets, lobster, and lots
and lots of drinks, which I'm sure she needed. And

(21:59):
she wrapped up up the three hour dinner with buttercake,
which is very good.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
I had. It's so good, it's.

Speaker 7 (22:04):
Like eight million six of butter, but it's so good,
chocolate cake and keelime pie. So they ordered the whole menu.
It was a three hour dinner. I don't know if
I said that, but her dad and lawyers were there
and blogger turtle Boy.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
Oh yeah, if he was trouble by the way, they're
going after him, yeah, legally because they're saying that maybe
maybe the family paid him. It's like witnessed hamp ring
or something. They're going after this guy that, which which
is why the optics of them hanging out together are
maybe not so good.

Speaker 3 (22:33):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (22:34):
I mean, isn't he allowed to just blog about the case.
If you watch the docuseries, you know who turtle Boy is.
But he's a blogger. I don't know why he goes
by this. He was a teacher now turn blogger, and
he got kind of obsessed with her case and started
posting like in her favor.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Acquitative restraining order violation tied to it. They were a
turtle Boy well, but again like to see here, a
judge on June twelve, this is found Adrian turtle Boy
Kerneye not guilty of violating an abuse prevention ordered tied
to his attendant at twenty twenty four, Karen read coord hearing,

(23:14):
but there was more than that that I had heard about,
and he was in trouble for something else. I'm not
sure what, but anyway, they're in cahoots.

Speaker 7 (23:21):
And yeah, so they became close over the period of time.
By the way, as for her docu series, the director
says her team has no plans to follow Karen after
the trial, saying her story's already been told. Her documentary
will now add an update though, like a little text card,
saying that she was found not guilty in her Every
Track book.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
For sure.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
Oh, there's going to be a book. There's going to
be a press tour.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
The question is she going to get what she already
is being sued civilly? Right, And just because she was
acquitted criminally does not in fact mean that she like
oh J Simpson was acquitted criminally and then convicted civilly.
So yes, she's going to make money on this. The
question is how much of that is she going to
have to pay out?

Speaker 5 (24:02):
Right?

Speaker 3 (24:02):
And you said her lawyers weren't charging her, right.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
They weren't charging her that. They said that the bill
was going to be somewhere and seven million dollars and
they said that they won't charge her that because she
doesn't have it. But those guys are going to be
okay too because they won this big, high profile case.
Now they're going to get a bunch of business. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (24:17):
By the way, Alan Jackson did admit, not the singer
her lawyer, that he was really worried that it wasn't
going to go in her favor. He's like, I never
doubted her innocence, but I was getting really worried there.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
So.

Speaker 7 (24:29):
Oh and one of our listeners before I move on,
pointed out that the jury was all dressed in really
nice clothing right before they did a verdict, and that's
how people thought that we were about to get one.
Apparently they used to be in liketh leisure, but now
they were dressed up, so they knew a vertic qual was.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
They also had Thursday and today off, so they would
have had to if they didn't have a verdict Wednesday,
they would have had to go to Monday. Oh so
they were going to be done Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
Well that is over, thankfully.

Speaker 7 (24:54):
Colplay is reusing four classic albums are reissuing this September
on new eco friendly vinyl made entirely from recycled plastic,
which we love, with each record using the equivalent equivalent
of nine recycled plastic bottles, offering the same sound quality
as a regular vinyl but slashing energy use by eighty
five percent. They also launched their tenth album, Moon Music,

(25:16):
pressed on eco record, including a limited edition notebook LP
crafted with seventy percent river plastic collected in Guatemala.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
Very specific.

Speaker 7 (25:26):
These innovations cut carbon emissions, like I said, by up
to eighty five percent compared to traditional manufacturing and prevent
over twenty five tons of plastic waste.

Speaker 3 (25:35):
And they've been really about the environment. They are about
that life.

Speaker 7 (25:38):
This ties in with their green touring strategy, which the
band reduced co emissions by fifty nine percent on their
latest tour. So this is something that they are really
putting their money where their mouth is. And Fred, you
always talk about how we only hear about Drake's wins
in gambling, but never his losses, but he did post
his losses. This month alone, he has reportedly lost eight
million on bets. That's a acording to his own shared

(26:01):
betting receipts, the rapper has placed close to one hundred
and twenty five million.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
In bets, usually on sports this month.

Speaker 7 (26:08):
His high respects with millions on the line have helped
fuel the online buzz about the so called Drake curse,
which means if he supports your team or bets on your.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
Team, you're gonna lose. But gosh, I mean that is
nothing to him.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
But you see a lot of these guys online, these gamblers,
you suit it. They win all his money and then
not all of them show you how much they're losing.
So like, what I want to know is how much
did it costs for you to win that much?

Speaker 3 (26:33):
We can only be so lucky.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
That guy that from Chicago, John Sensory or whatever his
name is, that's all over every Yeah. Yes, he shows
his laws. I give him. He shows his losses.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
Yes.

Speaker 7 (26:41):
I started following him after he was on below deck
and boy is he a follow Oh he rents.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
In a boat. I forgot he was on below deck?
Was he? Yes? And he was like Chicago, Maybe I
saw it and missed it. Uh yeah, watch it. I followed. No,
he's he's something man.

Speaker 7 (26:56):
The whole new like gen Z intern thing that are
just like very hot.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
Yeah, he's something man, He really is, you know what
he's something.

Speaker 3 (27:03):
Shout out to him local celebrity. Also, Shout out to
grocery store Joe.

Speaker 7 (27:07):

listener he put us. Somebody told me he posted waiting
by the phone the other day he did, so.

Speaker 3 (27:13):

Speaker 3 (27:30):
So he ended up going on What is Not Love?

Speaker 1 (27:33):

Speaker 7 (27:34):
And then him and Serena from another Bachelor season ended
up getting engaged.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
I believe they live here. She got her.

Speaker 7 (27:40):
Citizenship she was from Canada. And yeah, so they are married.

Speaker 1 (27:44):

Speaker 3 (27:45):
Grocery store Joe.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
All right, I forgot about that guy. Yeah, we plugged
the hell out of his grocery store when he was
on the show, so that's at least he could do
for us, Right, Come on, grocery store Joe, It's the

with him or you?

Speaker 6 (28:29):
Again? Definitely, it's gonna be for us to go out
to have a nice dinner.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Oh that is so nice. You got to do what
a lot of people, a lot of my friends do.
That gamble is like if you go to Vegas and
you win money, like in this case, a thousand bucks.
To see you win, you got to tell him that
you won five hundred and then you only have to
give him half of that because you know it's like,
oh I won, so then you know here's half, But
then you say you want last. Yeah, but this is
on the radio, so you can't really lie.

Speaker 6 (28:53):
Yeah, because he's here with me.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
Oh yeah, you definitely can't lie, all right? One thousand bucks.
