All thanks to the Live Nation jo Is on Friend's
biggest stories of the day. Are we getting close to
the I Radio World Premiere?

Speaker 2 (00:37):
We are so close, you guys, it's one of my
proudest works.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Can say the name of it at least?

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Yes, I mean, you know what I would love, but
more than that to hear it. What is the name
of it? What's left of d Oh?

Speaker 1 (00:53):
No, that's pretty good. I know I'm clever sometimes, Paulina,
that's actually that's pretty good. What's left of day? Get
me into the County Fair to perform? That might be it? Wow,
to be so great when you finally write it.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Is that why you're running out of the room because
you are one hundred percent the girl that did her
home in class. Oh yeah, like yes, the day that
it was due, or maybe several days after. But like,
and I love you for this. I mean this is
not a criticism, but it's just it's who you are.
But I mean, so is the song? Does it exist?
It does exist?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
And Turnbella's moving things around, moving so fat around for me.
She's gonna put it here for you. The only thing
is is, yeah, it was that girl in high school.
I have to admit I was the girl like, hey,
let me get your homework.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
You know I'm talking about let me get you I've
ever heard. But anyway, yeah, so what what what is
the thing, Paulina? The thing is it's in the It's
ready for you. She's about to just start singing, make
it up on a fly, I got your bag. You
need to beat let me know. It's yeah, we got you,
we got you. Oh there it is you see it? Okay,

(02:01):
you know what the biggest story of the first.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
And foremant it's there.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
It's called It's called it's called that. No, no, no,
that's just where it is. That's where it lives. Okay, yes,
it's called What's Left. I'm gonna push. I don't know
what I'm pushing, but well, you know I've not heard
this A lot of trust, right, A lot of trust.
I trust the hell out of you guys.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
Honestly, you know I thought about that the other day.
I was like, my career on the line. Okay, I
just want you to know. But then again, people haven't
really expected a high level of quality. No, ready to
get the out, you know what.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
I didn't want a little la boo boo, but I
need to hold one right now, you can. I want
to an emotional support la boo boo right now? Okay
we go. Paulina's world premiere song. We've been talking about
this for weeks. Here it finally is. It's called What's
Left of d Okay, Oh tell you I know this one.

(03:05):
I was hoping this was where we're going. Okay, Oh boy?

Speaker 5 (03:15):
Watches through every shirt back pain turned into daily hurt.
Stairs were hell and I couldn't stand the bras they
were blessed and also the worst. I put snacks in
the bra on my phone and I made but I
dreamed of button shirts all the lone not needing twenty

(03:40):
bras just.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
To feel hole.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
I told my dog, hey, take a bit, and he said, girl,
are you sure?

Speaker 1 (03:49):
I said all of it.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
Now I'll be light, I'll be floating and I'll be spinning.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
I can jog without a sports bra. Now Here, I
am what's left of D. Used to be a double.
Now I'm finally free, I ain't top heavy. I can
finally breathe. So take a good look, doc at what's
left of the tea shots fit on my slam of grease.

(04:19):
No longer knocking drinks soft tables. You see, it's a random.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
Day for these little ceas to take a look of
what's left of D.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Questions, girl, yeah, make some noise for yourselves. Already crying
right now? Okay, First of all, have you heard the original?
You know, once or twice twice? Wow? Creative liberty?

Speaker 6 (04:50):
Okay, started and stop whenever. It was more of a
sort of a slam poem, my fingers right, spoken words,
if you wrote right.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
It was more of an improvisational interpretive. It was interpretive,
is what it was. The verse. We had no effort.
In fact, I don't think the music was necessary to me.
I can dreams off table can I get the.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Like chorus right with the music and the hook like
it's over for you'll, I won't be performing.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Do you have the album art for the can I
see the Do you have the words written out? Yeah?
I do. Would you like my lyrics either the words,
because I would like I would like to perform the
I think I could perform the words as effectively as
you sort of sung them. Or what I meant in
your bra eight. I think that's my favorite part. Yeah,
like being just put everything in my braw snacks, the phones.

(05:51):
Relatable I would imagine for a lot of people. Yes, yeah,
she said knocking stuff off tables. That touched my heart.
You know what I'm saying. Thank you girls, you'll see me? Yeah,
that's all. Yeah, platform, Look that touched me in a
place I've not been touched before. Wow, Okay, I just

(06:15):
what I'm curious about is did you even listen to
the music when you perform? Nicholas, He's not very thrilled
about that, but you know, I like my remix a lot.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Okay, relatable for the women, for the ladies in the back,
knocking drinks off tables.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
I mean I listen to the mic quality sounded better
than you know, like when you're usually sitting on the
toilet performing.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Yeah, I got a little budget now, we got a
little budget. Yeah, yeah, I'm telling you guys, I'm getting
out there.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
It's a little budget, yeah, very tiny. Yeah we didn't
we didn't spend the budget on matching the words with
the lyric, with the with the beat of the song.
But other than that, no, yeah, I feel like, you know,
if we just slid the words over just like half,
then they might actually match up with the bet I'll
do my best, you know, it is artists objective. Who

(07:07):
am I to tell you?

Speaker 5 (07:09):
Right?

Speaker 1 (07:09):
How many plaques do you have? Fred? I have zero? No,
It's true, you know what. I like to apologize. I'd
like to, but who am I? What do I know?
I I don't have an album. I don't have a
record deal. You know I don't. I don't get asked
to perform at county fairs across the land.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
But you do.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Yeah? Yes, would you like it? Did you like what
I brought? Get an email from the Cabaris County Fair
and they'd love to have you with their uh on
their on their stage right right after they're doing like
a like a pig competition. You know, it's like one
of those uh, Junior, what are they? What is that
the future farmers of America? Did they touch the pigs?
They would like you to come on and do that song.
And well, here's my question. Will you be able to

(07:51):
find the inspiration to perform that after tomorrow when the
double d's have been reduced? Yeah, I think so, because
it'll be you don't want.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Because an artist, when you do a song about time
in your life, right, I don't understand.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
I really could not relate. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
I hate talking to me it's about this because you
don't really understand. But it's not what you might be
able to relate. It's fine, just you know, not fall along.
But you know, as an artist, when you have a
time in your life, that's kind of when your best
work comes out.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
So being able to like sing through that on the
other side is really special. Yeah, you get what I say.
Well I don't because we don't get it. But I'm
trying to understand. But it's like to you know, to
express my emotion, yeah, and be so vulnerable in that
way and then have to relive that experience every time
I perform this song. I mean thank you for sharing

(08:36):
your gift.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Yeah, I'm happy to do so, you know, I just
I do what I can for the people, and like,
I love that, you know, thank you. I love you, guys,
and I just really hope that you enjoyed the music
that I can create and the part that I bring
to the world. Yeah, we do, we do.

Speaker 5 (08:49):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Wait to put it on repeat. I need the lyric
video on YouTube. Yeah, I'm gonna make a music video tube.
Oh my gosh, we need a music video you one day. Yeah,
you're being in the hospital like sexy, right, baby dance
and wing in the hallway. Oh gosh, this is incredible.
I'm hearing from I'm hearing from music producers left and right.

(09:10):
You know, they want to know how you're able to
pull that off. It takes some people years. It took
you about three minutes, three minutes in the bathroom. Okay, Well,
thank you Paulin enough for that and for sharing your
your vulnerability and your God given ability as well. Okay, hmm,
let's get you up because I really don't know how

(09:31):
to transition from that. But don't worry. You'll hear it
a couple more times this morning because I really it's
it's one of those It's not a one listen song
for me. It's one of those things where you got
to listen a few times to really sort of fully
grasp the message. Have you ever have you ever watched
a movie multiple times and you find that, like each
time you notice something different. I feel like that's kind

(09:52):
of the way that song is going to be for me.
Oh yeah, I'm just gonna have to listen a few times. Yeah, yeah, Okay,
in Nashville's calling. They want to know if they can
make that into a country song. I mean, this is crazy, right,
my phone is blowing up right now. What am I
your agent? I'm not handling this for you, Paulina, What guys?
I mean I'd be back after surgery. No, the way
this is about to take off? Yeah, okay, this is

(10:15):

except we say them aloud. We call them blogs. Kalin's
got one go, Thank.

Speaker 7 (10:50):
You, dear blog. So I am feeling like probably the
biggest a hole in the entire world today. I feel
so so bad for something that I did yesterday. Actually
a group of us did so. Yesterday was one of
my very best friend's birthdays, and I knew that her
birthday was coming up. And I think you guys can

(11:11):
attest that I birthdays of other people are very important
to me. I try to keep track. I try to
have everything in my calendar. I don't even cheat with Facebook.
I typically remember, okay, like it's you know, it's the
cancer season, so I know who I'm expecting. I look
in my little phone, and I really try to never
miss a birthday. But yesterday I was a little confused

(11:33):
on what day it actually was. Paulina can attest to that.
When I texted her Happy Thursday and it was very
much not Thursday. Yesterday, I was just all confused, which
happens to us, and sometimes we wake up very well.
We always wake up very early, and I don't want
to text people at that time. I don't want to
wake them up, you know. And then I forget and
I did the show, took a little nap, which is rare.

(11:54):
I'm not a good napper, and woke up, and then
I decided to text my friend Hillary. Asked, you know
what she's doing for the fourth YadA YadA, and she goes,
I don't know, probably celebrating my birthday. And I was like, no,
like record scratch and I was like, holy crap, Holy crap,
is it the twenty fifth? And I like, look at
my calendar and I'm like, oh my god, it's the

(12:16):
twenty fifth. And I'm like, I'm so sorry. I did
not I knew that your birthday was this week. I
was talking to our other friend Laurie about it on Monday.
I did not know what day it was today. I
just woke up. I apologize, and she goes, it's okay.
All of our other friends forgot too, and I was like, no,
what the hell? And she had even said that she
was talking on Monday to another one of our friends

(12:37):
about how her birthday was on Wednesday, and I just
I've never felt smaller. I felt so, so terrible, and
it's just I've only done it one other time where
I've talked to someone on their birthday and didn't say anything,
and I just I feel like the worst friend of
all time. I'm trying to figure out how to make
it up to her, and she was very cool about it.
She's like, it's okay, I've done it too. So I
got a little side text of my friends and I

(12:58):
was like, hey, a holes, we got to figure something out,
and you guys better text her because I don't know
how we did that. Usually I'm the reminder, but I
just I feel so awful and like the worst friend
in the world.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
That's why you gotta include Facebook in your daily perusal
of social media. And I get that Facebook is the
place where you find out that people that you love
are actually terrible humans. But it is a nice reminder
of birthdays. It saved me many a time, it is,
for sure.

Speaker 7 (13:29):
But a lot of my friends have deleted their facebooks,
which I very much love for them, and she is
one of them. And so typically I just need to
look at my calendar and it was on there twice,
you know, I put it in there and then I
think it was still on there from when she.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
Did have a Facebook, but she doesn't have one. So
it was one of the ones that I really needed
to remember. And I just feel I feel awful.

Speaker 7 (13:49):
So if you guys have any ideas about us, I know, yeah,
apparently I do.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Apparently I do. I feel a recovery. I think it's
just go ahead and start over. Yeah, yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (14:03):
So she's going out to dinner tonight. I'm gonna have
something like delivered to her. So I don't know, but
I really like, I don't know if feel awful.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
I wanted to cry. And then you text your friends
like hey guys, we forgot and then and then the
text probably starts streaming in. Yeah, so she knows that
you had to call and tell them, which was that
was the you had the best of intentions. That almost
just adds insul to injury because it's like, yeah, none
of you remembered
