Speaker 1 (00:00):
Order order in the court room.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
What's up, friend, It is Key Key and I am
back with a new episode of the Key Key Court podcast.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
Now. Yes, I took a few days off from the podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
We missed the case or two because of the holiday,
but all the excuses behind us. I am back in here, honey,
with my little robe on, ready to give you a
case that did not make the air. Okay, And before
I get into this case, let me just give a
trigger warning. Okay, if you are a vegan, I repeat,
if you are a vegan, you might be a little
(00:37):
triggered by this story, but let's get into it. It says, hey,
ke Key, my name is Tiffany, and my sister in law, Cassie,
has been a very vocal vegan for the last three years.
Ever since she changed her lifestyle with food, she has
been overbearing and super annoying to the rest of the family.
She often criticizes other people's food choices, including that family
(01:00):
the events, calling people murderers, saying that they're uninformed if
they eat meat or dairy. It gets really exhausting, especially
because she doesn't hold back when we are just trying
to enjoy a family meal together. She always has to
ruin it. She even lectures the kids. Yeah, my kids
are seven and nine years old, and they've both gotten
(01:20):
lectured by her about drinking milk and eating meat.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
It's crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
So this time I decided to give her a taste
of her own medicine. I made a dish for our
family get together. I used real beef, not plant based beef,
but real beef, and I told everybody that it was
the beyond meat version. So my sister in law was
very excited because she felt like she had finally bullied
us to change our ways. She took a huge scoop
(01:46):
of the casserole and put it on her plate. I
watched out of the side of my eye as she
took her first bite. I could tell that she was
a little suspicious after the first bite, but she took
another school. So I waited till she got to the
third bite, and I said, it's crazy how a cow
had to die for you to eat that. Her face
changed immediately, and when I confirmed that it was real meat,
(02:07):
she lost it. She threw her plate, got upset, cursed
me out, and told my husband that she will never
eat at our house again. I thought it was a
little funny prank because she's always given everybody else a
hard time about their food. However, my husband did not
think it was funny. Now he's pissed at me, and
my mother in law is upset about it as well.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
I just feel like she needed a taste of her
own medicine.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Do you think I took it too far? And do
I owe her an apology? Kiki be real? Well, you
know that's the only way I know how to be.
Sis is real, And I will say, we all know
a vegan who is annoying. I know disrespect to my
vegan friends, but some of y'all can be annoying.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
And I know it's for our own good.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
You want to help us live longer, you want to
help us lose weight, whatever the case may be. But
sometimes we all know a vegan friend can get a
little annoying when they are trying to push their lifestyle
onto others. However, you absolutely are the asshole. You took
it way too far with this prank, Like you don't
know if this girl has some type of dietary restriction
(03:12):
that calls her to stop eating meat or whatever. But like,
I would never never make somebody eat something on purpose
knowing that they absolutely are against it, and they, you know,
despise it. Like I have friends for religious reasons they
don't eat pork. I would never purposely give them pork.
It's not funny, you know what I'm saying. My sister
in law is very picky. She doesn't even have any
(03:34):
dietary restrictions.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
She just picky as hell.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
And certain things I'm just not gonna give her because
I know she just has made a decision to not
eat it. And if somebody has made a lifestyle change,
support them in that, even if they're getting on your nerves. Now,
what you can do is not invite her ass over
for dinners if you know she gonna complain the whole
time and try to preach the whole time. You have
the right to be like, okay, girl, we don't want
to eat with you. We can go shopping or do
(03:58):
something else, but we don't.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Need to eat together.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
But to like sneak like sneak and make this casserole
knowing that it was real beef, You wrong, sis. I
feel like you are wrong for that. But y'all let
me know what you think. And especially if you are
a vegan or a vegetarian and this has happened to you.
Please let me know. Hit me up in the comments.
I'm gonna post a video on my social at on
air Kiki at friend Show Radio. I need to know
(04:23):
your thoughts on this, but in my opinion, girl, you
dead asked wrong.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Okay, we'll get back in the courtroom. Bye.
