is stepping down from American Vogue after thirty seven years.

The seventy five year old dropped the bombshell in a
staff meeting yesterday, I guess, revealing that she's on the
hunt for a new head of editorial content at the magazine.
Anna's not ditching the fashion world completely. She's still sticking
around as Vogue's Global editorial director and Conde nass A
Chief Content Officer, overseeing magazines like Vanity Fair, GQ, Architectural Digest, Glamor,

and more. Anna took the reins at Vogue in nineteen
eighty eight after a few years at British Vogue, changing
the magazine and really the fashion game and media forever.
She also became kind of a fixture in pop culture, herself,
known for her very icy vibe, her signature Bob that
she has literally never changed, even inspiring the movie The
Devil Wears Prada, which is loosely based off of her

she inspired that movie. I wonder if she will still
be doing the met Gala. I'm not sure on that,

subject of a new exhibit at the Country Music Hall
of Fame and Museum in Nashville this summer. The exhibit,
called Lady Wilson Tough as Nails, will showcase her early

years as a child in Basket in Louisiana. It features
things like the first western saddle she used, as well
as the program from her kindergarten graduation where she's saying
Bob Carr Lyle's Butterfly Kisses, which is a creepy song.
You ever heard that song? It's a little creepy for me.
