(00:42):
We call them blogs. Kiki's got one go, Yes, dear blog.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
I don't know if anyone else plays this little skit
in their lives that I do. But if I make
plans with you and they're far out, so for instance,
you know, we set a dinner for two months from now,
which we did as a show by two months ago.
We said we're going to go to dinner in July,
at the end.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Of July, because that's how long it takes to find
a day that everybody can do it. Yeah, yep, literally,
and news flash, I'm not the hold up since I
have zero social plans anyway, go ahead, same.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
But so we set this date two months ago and
I've been looking at it all week on my calendar,
but no one on the show has said anything all
week about this dinner. And I am the type of
person if we set plans two months out and it
comes to the week of, you don't mention anything even
the day before. If you don't say anything, in my mind,
we're not going what Yes, what am I supposed to

(01:33):
say to you?

Speaker 1 (01:34):
I don't know the calendar invite to the follow Apparently
I'm supposed to ask her if she got hit by
car twenty years ago, so you can talk about it
at dinner.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
No, But like, okay, so you guys aren't like this,
Like if you have a date with somebody right and
they don't text you the day of to say like,
hey can't wait to catch up later, or hey can't
wait to see you tomorrow or can't wait to go
out tomorrow. In my mind, we both forgot about it,
so it's not I.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Mean maybe with that, but we have a calendar invite,
so I know it's real.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
But nobody said anything all week.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
What do you want me to say? I'm so excited
to spend time with you? Yes, I am.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
If anybody's like, what have anybody looked at the menu
or you know, are we still on for said date
that we planned months ago?

Speaker 1 (02:20):
I don't feel this way about this dinner. Yeah, And
I joke about how antisocial I am. I am. I
am fairly introverted, which seems to surprise a lot of people.
I think I use all of my talkie talkie at
work and then I'm kind of out of words. Yep,
And that's the real thing. But I do this all
the time where I'm like, oh, it's eight weeks away
or so, sure, I'll do it. Yeah, great, And then

(02:42):
I don't remember that I agreed to it, and then
every Sunday I look at my calendar to see what
I have and I'm like, oh my god, I did
agree to that, didn't I. I don't feel that way
about this dinner, but I did pop up, and I
was like, oh, yeah, that's right, we're going to dinner.
This I forgot about it, and I did forget right.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
But if anyone so Satan, no one said anything because
the only reason it got brought up today is because
Bella is extremely exciting.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
I saw Bella from fifty feet away and going up
the escalator we get to fun tonight.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
So she hadn't said anything, and no one mentioned anything.
Were we all just going to show up at the restaurant?

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Yes, I mean I was.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
I was going to be there.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
It's on my calendar. I was. I was assuming that
we were going to the only thing I was wondering
about was are we really going at four? See see yourself, Okay.
I was just making sure because I love that. I'm
all about going to dinner at four o'clock. This makes
me very happy. I used to hate it. We're going
to go to dinner at four. Polina will show U
around five fifteen, the first time that they'll serve dinner.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
By the way, that Jesus, I wanted to go at noon. Oh,
but they don't open until four. So that's what we're
going there for. Well, I'm not trying to be in
the city un till nine o'clock and I gotta get
up at three am.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
No, this is great. I mean we go at four,
I'll probably be in bed by six thirty. This is amazing. Yeah,
watching Netflix or something. Fully my little bellies full. Oh,
I'll be so excited. I'll just be so full of
energy from all my social interaction. Or I'll be completely
exhausted one of the others the bonding. Either way, the
bonding will be exhausting.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
I'm sure.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
So what you're saying, Kiki is that you need like
a daily reminder.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Not a daily reminder, but like if we plan this too,
even my dentist office, but that was out six months.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
So you need Jason to call Hi from the Friends show.
I just wanted to confirm your reservation to have dinner
with us on Thursday.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yes, like, let me know that you remember, because in
my mind, if I.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Send you a calendar, but I remember.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
But Jason, it's a dinner though, it's not a meeting,
it's a family It's all this.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Going to me. If it's in the calendar, we're going.
If it not, we're not all right.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Good to know. I just like a little confirmation to
make sure we're still friends, you still want to go,
you still I'm still invited.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
You know things, I'll tell you what I would never
survive in the real world. And this is a fact.
I've never had another job. I mean I have in
college or high school, whatever, but my knock on wood
in my professional career, this is only job I have
had some form of radio personality. And we don't do
the corporate rules like we never just it's not we

(05:08):
don't work the same hours as everybody else or you know,
what we're asked to do is different. And I'm not
saying it's harder or less hard, it's just the parameters
of a nine to five. I don't know how I
would conform after twenty five years of doing this because
I've never had to. In some ways it might be easier,
and in some ways it would be very difficult. Right,
This is not a hard job, but it's a job

(05:28):
where you're on There is no downtime really unless we're
playing a commercial, which we've played many but but but
you know what I mean, Like, I'm not suggesting that
at work you don't do anything, but you know, so
I would imagine if you have an office job, there
are times where you can close the door and do
something at your own pace. We don't really have them
what I would. What drives me absolutely crazy is when

(05:49):
people put things on my calendar without asking me if
I'm available. Now, I know why they're doing it. I
can't sad that I know why they're doing it, because
in the corporate world, they go into their little teams
or a little little lout look or whatever the hell
it's called. Yeah, the little I don't even know what
it's called the calendar, and they can see, right, can't
they see what I'm available and when I'm not, what's
blocked off and what's free. And I don't participate in that,

(06:12):
Like I don't. I don't block things off. I don't
I don't put little messages up Hey, I don't use
teams chat, I don't do anything. I don't do any
of this. I don't do it because I don't have to,
because we don't, you know, Like, if I need something,
I'm looking at everybody who's important to me at work
right now except for mellows in the other room, and
I just say, hey, we're doing this. Whatever can you
do this? Can you ask me? Yeah? Is that simple? So?

(06:32):
Like but I noticed in the corporate world it's very common.
If you if you're if you're open on the calendar,
somebody can put something on them because the expectation is
that you're you know, you're there from eight to five
or whatever it is, and we just it just does
not operate like that. So, like last week, someone just
puts something on my calendar, I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Everybody calm down. Who do you think you are? Who
do you think you are? A life? How do you

(06:54):
know I'm available? Well, because your schedules open, But that
doesn't mean I don't. I didn't put in there my
wax or whatever I write. It just so happens. You
wanted to meet during my weekly Brazilian. Yes, it's weekly.
It's crazy. This sexor has a great point, Kiki.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
If you didn't forget, why didn't you confirm with us?
Like why is it on us to confirm with you?

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Yew invited me.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Jason invited me, So I can't just confirm Jason's meeting
like or his plans.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
You know, he's the.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Captain, so he just tells me where to go and
I have the show up. And if Jason doesn't say anything.
I'm like, man, I wonder if we're still doing it.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
He's not like inviting you for fun my choice. One
thing I know about this show is we just come
up with this. We do love a calendar invite on
this show. We love a calendar invite, and and it
don't work. So it doesn't work well for me. But
when they come, when they go up, they'll come down right.

(07:54):
So like you, Jason and Camlan are very thorough about
the calendar invites, and so do you. Guys. Need if
the dinner had been canceled, then it would have come
off the schedule. So the fact that it was still
there meant it was happening and I didn't have to
ask anybody about it. Well, damn my bad, because I'll
right now I woult to hear. If I had come
in here and said the same thing you said, I
would have heard somebody's feelings. I promise you we're still

(08:17):
having dinner. Of course we are.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
It's on your calendar, full on expecting like uh one
to two pm text from Kiki, hey are we doing this?
Like it was a like in my head that it
was coming, like to make sure it doesn't have fun
to me, I would just be like, yeah, people.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Changed their mind. You know, my friend, you still like
me at one o'clock today.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
I don't know. This is a work thing.
