Learn so much, guys. There was a there was a
dance plague in the sixteenth century and it caused people
to drop like flies. Hm, you know about this? There?

I was a history English major.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Well tell me about it. Then?

Speaker 3 (01:05):
It wasn't it though? They danced for like I don't know,
years or something, or like days, almost a year. They danced, well,
not quite, but I mean sort of. Well, I think
we're talking about the same thing. But it was the summer.
It was the summer of fifteen eighteen. Hundreds of citizens
in the French city of Strusbourg. I'm sure I didn't
say that right, danced uncontrollably for days and weeks on end,

and then some died from the over exertion. Scientists and
historians are not sure what was behind the deadly dance
a thon, but some choice theories include that people were
involved in some kind of a religious cult, or that
they had ingested a toxic mold on bread that produced
spasms and hallucinations. Anyway, a bunch of people died until

they dropped dead in fifteen eighteen.

They danced, or until they danced until they died, until
they dropped dead they were already dead. No, they danced
until they died. WHOA, yeah, it's the dance.
