You'd just got ghosted? Man, you're not great? But what
happened with this guy?

I kind of want to know everything. How did you
guys meet? Tell us about any dates that you've been
on and then where things are now?

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Well, I mean it was just a one date situation.
We met on Riyah.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Oh you fancy?

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:02):
You on the Famous People one. That's the Fame Riyah
is the famous people one. You're extremely fancy. They won't
let me on that one?

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Then yeah fancy, I mean I am fancy. I never
thought i'd be calling a radio station to talk about
my business, but here I am.

Doesn't always work out.

I actually I haven't heard what this goes. First.

I can't figure it off. You figure out, and I
feel like, well, I don't know, but if this doesn't
work out, I might be swearing off men because I
thought this could be something, and clearly I don't know
what I'm doing.

So okay, So you felt like the date went really well.

You though the was chemistry, you know, all the normal stuff,
and so you left the date thinking I'm gonna see
this guy again, he's gonna call me, We're going out.

Yeah, we have like we hit it off good like
on the app and then in person conversation flowed I
don't know.

Yeah, it's a mystery. Well, for at least two or

Yeah, this is Seth.

Hey Seth. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
My name is Fred and I'm going from the Fred's Show,
the Morning Radio Show, and I have to tell you
that we are on the radio right now and I
would need your permission to continue with the call. Can
we chat for a couple of minutes. The whole crew
is here. You can hang up anytime.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
What are we do? What are we chatting about?

Speaker 5 (03:29):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Now, I'm gonna get to that. We're calling on behalf
of a woman named Olivia. I guess you guys met
on a dating app Riah and you you went on
a date recently.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Do you remember her?

Speaker 4 (03:39):
I do?

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yeah, Okay, so.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
What happened because you know, she reached out to us
and told us about meeting you and about the date,
and she felt like everything went really well. But then
she says she hasn't heard from you since then, So
why what's the issue?

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Well yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, you got the basic information
how we met. Yeah, we were talking. I mean that,
you know, the chatting on the app was really good
and that's why, you know, obviously I took it further
to meeting person and go on a date. She also,

(04:15):
like you know, lives in the same city, which on
Riah isn't always the case. So I was listen, I
was excited, okay, and she had mentioned that she was
this big booty, right, So I did a lot of research,
made a reservation at a very nice restaurant that she
had ever been to, and she made out. But she
was excited. So we meet up at this restaurant and

(04:38):
it's it's going well. But when the waiter comes, this
is when things get weird, because I mean it's normal stuff.
You know, they're acting for drink orders, and so I mean,
I'm trying to do you know, the gentlemanly saying, and
I let her order first, right, and she's like.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
No, I'm good. I'm like, okay, okay. She didn't want
to drink at all.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
No, she didn't want no just I would you know
they had water on the table, but no no drink,
and uh you know, I mean I was I was
confused a bit of river the drink. The drink wasn't
you know, that wasn't that off putting? And I felt
bad because I was like, well, you know, if you
don't want an alcohol or something like that, you can
get anything else, or like if we need to go

(05:22):
somewhere else, you know, if just to make you make
sure uncomfortable. I don't know if she was like sober
or something like that. She's like, no, no, it's just okay,
I don't want anything. Okay, fine, you know. And then
the waiter comes back and it's like, uh, you know,
ask him for if we want to start with appetizers,
So like, okay, sure, what would you like for an appetizer?
And and she's like, well, whatever you want to get?
I go okay, Well that's fine, right, you know, she's

(05:43):
let me be adventurous. Okay, sure, so I ordered some some.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Appetizer or a couple.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
They come and then she didn't want any okay.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
So she didn't want to get the advertiser. But you
asked her what she wanted, all right, And then is
it the same thing for dinner?

Speaker 4 (05:57):
She didn't even order an entree. That's when is like
red black, That's like it's gonna make any sense.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Wait minute, But she agreed to go to dinner with you,
but was never gonna.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
I I don't know, like I took I took all
this time to like find this place. She's talking she's
a foodie, so I'm assuming she does eat at some
point and you know, in her day throughout her life,
but like I don't like she did she eat before?
This is what I'm like saying, Like, why would you
go out to dinner with somebody and not be hungry?

(06:29):
Like she didn't order an entente, not even a salad,
she didn't even.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Like weird because you're you're hungry and you're eating because
it's dinner time.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
And then I can't even eat everything because it's weird,
right because she's like watching me eat. It was so
off putting.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Oh yeahs Olivia, because Olivia's here and I'm very forgetful
and I sometimes forget that part of it. But Olivia, you, uh,
you went to dinner with this guy, but you didn't
order anything at all.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Yeah, And I'm confused, like I got ghosted because I
wasn't hungry.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Yes, why would you go out to dinner with somebody
if you're not hungry?

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Like we're thirsty right right right? Yeah, I mean why
why not?

Speaker 3 (07:09):
And you don't look like I do by eating when
you're not hungry.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
But like I don't get.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
It, like.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Because I've been known to eat when I'm not hungry,
so I guess I'm not at your level. We eat here, right, Yeah,
But like I guess if I accepted a dinner date
with someone, then even if I weren't hungry, I would
order something because that's the activity, that's what we're doing.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
We're here to eat.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
And then if the other person isn't like you and
it actually enjoys consuming food, then I feel like they're
gonna eat. And then it's awkward when you're sitting there
staring at him. So did you eat before and you
just didn't?

Speaker 1 (07:42):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
And the other thing is we hear all the time
about these guys that don't put any thought into a date. Well,
he picked a place for you because he because you
told him that you were a foodie, so he splurged.
And yet then you didn't even partake.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
But he did not have to splurge. There's actually a
very cheap date.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Okay, but then tell him that when you saw the place,
why didn't you say, I don't I don't really want
to eat?

Speaker 3 (08:03):
I mean I did when I didn't order, Like, if
you're not hungry, you don't eat, but it's not crazy.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
But then don't go to This is the part that
I guess we're.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
All confused about to get to know each other, not
to eat food.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Well, then plan a different kind of date, like, I
mean again, but I think you're missing the point here.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
She's been dissing us the whole time. She was, well,
we don't look like her, Okay, we don't look like her,
and then is beneath her Apparently, I'm just accused, Like.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
You wanted to know why he didn't call you, and
he didn't call you because he planned a dinner date
for you based on your interests. And then when you
went to the dinner date, you just sat there and
stared at him, and I think that made him uncomfortable.
And it's like, hey, when we go to a restaurant,
we eat again. It wasn't like you guys had planned
something else. And then he's like, I'm hungry, and you

weren't you agreed to a dinner date.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
I just I mean, I guess, I guess I'm the
crazy one.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
But I don't get it.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
I don't think you're crazy.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
It's just like, I don't I guess, maybe give him
my heads up you're not hungry, and then maybe that
you guys could go do something else, you.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
Know, cancel a date if I'm not hungry, like.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
Am am, I like, okay, well I'm not I'm not okay,
but like, am I is there something am I missing?

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Something? Like I, I guess I'm could never be me.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
I'm eating If I've planned a date based on your end,
If you told me I really love golfing, and then
we I and then I so I take you golfing
and then you stand there and stare at me while
I golf, it would just be uncomfortable. It would be weird,
and I would be like, well, wait a minute, I
did this for you. You don't appear to even be into this,
So like, what are you?

Speaker 4 (09:46):
That's an activity, that's an activity.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Eating it's not an activity.

Speaker 5 (09:51):
Yeah, so he okay, is not hungry? Okay, so you
know the organizations over you that we have a real problem.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
But all right, seth, Look she wasn't hungry, so maybe
eat ahead of time and then take her on a
second day. Do you want to go out with her again?
Sounds a little high mass. Absolutely not. Thank you for
letting me dodge a bullet, my goodness, Okay.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Not interested, Olivia.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
Okay, dodge the bullet.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Sure don't eat, girls, you don't have to eat if
you don't want to, all right, and just maybe don't
agree to a dinner date though, Okay, okay, all right, Hey,
