I would see you on the carpet in my bedroom
because I don't want to get to the bathrooms or
like leave my room. Oh my god, yeah, because one
of my parents had ripped the carpet out because they
probably smelled like dude.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Had kid but like he was old enough to know.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
Yeah, yeah, I was hotty train. Yeah Fred's show is
I mean, I was potty trained, but whoa no, you
know this is elite. Though, this is elite. Eric texted us,
I love to get a burger from Culver's or Burger King,
then drive down the street it fries and a coke
from McDonald Now that's a complete meal. Absolutely, you're getting
(02:53):
the boat the best of everything that is not there's
nothing to be, nothing to feel bad about there.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:57):
I mean sometimes my friends and I will try to
go to a place where there's a lot of fast
food restaurants and get something from everyone.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
Yeah, because that's a whole different food topic for us.
Fatties around here. Yeah, I keep saying fatties, you know
what I mean. But food motivated people. And I know
we've done it before over the years several times. But
the ultimate fast food meal. And you can have an appetizer,
and you can have a main, and you can have
a dessert if you want, and you can have a beverage.
(03:26):
I mean, the possibilities are absolutely endless. Oh yes, we
could do this for hours and it changes. It might
change depending on the season. Correct, it might change depending
on my mood. The way I answer it today might
might not be the way I answer it tomorrow. So
that's a deep question. In fact, that's a great interview
question for you. If you're someone who interviews people, ask
(03:47):
them that question, because I think you can tell a
lot about.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Somebody entering sandwiches.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
Yeah, I'm triggered by that question if you. But like
if you were to say, if I asked you that question, hey,
you can make a meal with those four items from
and you can go anywhere you want for each item.
And if someone to say to me, yeah, I would
just go to the one place and get see. Now
that to me, no, huhuh, not creative.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
You're not one of us.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
No you're not. I'm sorry you can't be on the show.
You can't because no, I need a much more thoughtful
answer than that. I'm here. The whole world is your oyster.
And I'm not even telling you which categories. You can
go anywhere you want. But if you're telling me that
you know, I'd probably just because it's easier, I'd probably
just nope. I don't want to hear it. I expect more.
(04:29):
Good morning, came on, How you doing good? How are
you great? Pipolina? Hey, Kiki is here? Good morning, Jason
Brown's and La at jingle Ball. He'll be back on Monday. Bella.
He means your show is Shelley three hundred and fifty
bucks in the showdown if you beat her in five questions. Blogs,
new waiting by the phone, and the entertainmer for coming
up to what are you working on?
Speaker 4 (04:45):
K We are talking Game of Thrones if you're a
nerd like me. Also, someone claims that to know the
real reason that Solange Knowles and jay Z got into
it in the elevator. I thought we already knew, but
we got to talk about it.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Yeah, they talk better than they excited. Tell me about
these are the radio blogs on the Fred Show, like
running in our diaries, he said, we stayed them aloud.
We call them blogs.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
Yes, okayo, dear blog. So I like to consider myself
a girl's girl. And just so you know, if you
are a friend of mine, which you all are, I
am ready to hate your partners at any time that
you need me to. Okay, if you break up, I'm
on your side. If you're in a fight, I got you.
I still see ex's of my friends who they're cool,
(05:34):
and I still give them a look like from across
the room, like I got your back. So imagine how
mortified I was when I realized that I had accidentally
message one of my friend's husbands that he was cute.
Wait a minute, yes, so let me tell you how
(05:56):
this happened. But it's kind of been bothering me ever since,
so you know on Instagram how now, it kind of
makes it a little bit confusing when you're sharing someone
else's story, like whose story it is? Because you can
share a story, but if you make it bigger.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
You barely see that it's not their own story. Oh yes,
you know what I'm saying. Oh yeah, so my friend.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Was posting a really cute She posted a really cute
story of her getting emotional because her husband coaches a
football team and they won, and she posted like a
little video of herself crying and like just happy tears
and celebrating him and then off to the screen. So
apparently she tagged him and he had shared that video. Okay,
(06:43):
so it was his story. So I replied to his
story and I said, first of all, where is that TV.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
Entertainment center from? Because it's very cute. And then the
second message said, by the way, you cute.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Okay, oh wow, because I was trying to tell my friends.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
So I'm a jedib unbelievable, but I'm a harlot.
Speaker 4 (07:11):
So what I was trying to tell my friend is
she was cute when she was crying, Like I didn't
want her to feel like I was just acting about
asking about the entertainment center.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
I wanted to go.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
I acknowledge that you posted and you're happy for your husband,
You're cute, but like, where the hell is that TV
entertainment center from?
Speaker 2 (07:25):
Anyways?
Speaker 4 (07:27):
He responded and he hearted it, but like I I
realized once he hearted it that was him.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Okay, So I messaged him.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
And I said, oh my gosh, I thought this was Alyssa.
I'm so so sorry. And then it was weird because
I was like, wait, but why did you heart that?
So then he re spawned and was like I thought
you were saying we were cute as a couple. And
I'm like, okay, good, everybody passed this test.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
We're all good.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
And then, just to make sure everything was above board,
I then messaged her and told her the whole story
because I felt so guilty and so bad that I'm
a home wrecker.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Yeah. Oh see that sounds like something I would do
is over explain the thing that could have been interpreted
in a non inflammatory way. Yeah, you know, like like
that's what I would make it worse.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
I did, yes, right over.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Explaining my I mean it's what I'm famous why, I mean,
my story of my life. It's over explained Fred the memoir.
That's what I would do. And where no one, where
no one saw offence, I would find a way to
then let them see how they could have been offended
and should have been maybe And then all of a
sudden it's like, oh wait a minute, oh but you
did the right thing. I guess just to clarify that
(08:38):
you weren't, in fact calling your friend's husband cute.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
It was just I just could not believe I did that.
Speaker 4 (08:42):
By the way, you're cute to a married man, And
it was like a he knew that I didn't mean
it that way. If I would have sent it that,
you know, like he's friends with my boyfriend, YadA yadda.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
But thank goodness that he hearted.
Speaker 4 (08:54):
It because he thought I meant them as a couple,
because then we would have a whole new slew of problems.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Right, what if you like responded like, oh you do
you think I'm cute?
Speaker 5 (09:02):
Right?
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (09:03):
Hey, Hey, what you doing? What you're wearing? You know,
then all of a sudden, look what you want to
cut you?
Speaker 5 (09:07):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (09:07):
Man? Then what do you do? Do you go run
right to your friend and tell her? Oh no, Yeah,
that's a tough one because in that situation, if she
ever saw the message, then she if you didn't go
tell her, or you didn't say something like really strong
against it, then it might look like you're culpable, like
you're complicit.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
I think I would find the nearest body of water
and just throw.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
My phone in because that would really stress me out.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
Yeah, because the problem is once he writes that, if
you see it, now you're now you're now you're implicated.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Now we're having an affair, right, That's what it sounds
like to me.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
That he was going to get me one of these days.
Is And maybe everyone else understands this very clearly, and
I'm the only one that just screws this up. But
if you have an iPhone and you have like used
the mail app, and there's a chain of emails going
mm hmm, if you're at depending on where you are
in the chain, if you're trying to respond to like
the email you're looking at, if you hit the reply
(10:04):
button at the bottom, that doesn't necessarily right to the
person that you look at whose email you're looking at,
you'd have to go into the email itself and click
reply on that particular email. Because more than once I've like,
you know, Jason, will be on an email to someone
else and then I'm replying to Jason, but I don't
want the other person, but I'm looking at Jason's email,
so I hit reply. If you don't look carefully, you
(10:27):
might be sending it to the wrong person. And so
if I don't like what the email says, and I
want to be like Jason, this person's a morod. Then
you got to be very careful. It's gonna get me
one of these days, because I think it could be
more straightforward than it is. I think it's confusing.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
Another one that gets people a lot is when you're
trying to send someone's story or post and like talk
a little smack. Sometimes people will accidentally send it to
the person who posted it and not their friend. So
you've got to be real careful and you're doing that.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Yeah, we got to check our work these days, man,
we show our work. Got double two? Yeah, you get
a big double two. There's ever been left waiting by
the phone. It's the Fred Show. Hey, Carbon, good morning,
welcome to the program. How are you good morning?
Speaker 5 (11:14):
Thanks?
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Yeah, I'm good.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
I guess good.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
I guess that makes sense because you think maybe this
dude named Ace has ghosted you, So we need the
backstory if you wouldn't mind, How did you meet? Tell
us about any dates that you've been on and kind
of you know what happened and why do you think
you're being ghosted?
Speaker 3 (11:29):
Okay, yeah, well at the beginning we met on good
old fashion him, you know, and he was so nice.
The conversation just floats from the beginning. We did talk
a lot before we were able to meet up. I
think it was for like a couple of weeks. And
then we went and got drinks and it was a
little shy in person, like chhiever than I thought he
would be, but he was also cuter than I thought
(11:52):
he would be. And yeah, it was a nice date,
and I don't know, I'm just like looking forward to
where things would go. But he didn't mention like another
hang and he just like kind of didn't speak to
me as much after and then eventually nothing. So I
just don't know if it's fizzled out on his own
(12:12):
or like something happened.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Yeah, because I know carm and there are people that
don't like to chat for a long time on the
apps or text or whatever before they meet because maybe
it takes away from some of the conversation flow. I
can see it both ways. But nonetheless, you kind of
got to know him, and then he went on this date.
There was probably you were more comfortable because you did
have some context, and so it would be even more
disappointing if the guy doesn't call you, because he kind
(12:37):
of felt like you knew him, Yeah, but.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Like that time in I know it just a little bit,
but yeah, I mean, and you know, women like to
feel comfortable. I eat safe by getting into someone first,
so I definitely felt both of those things around him.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
Yeah, And it could be hard to meet people on
the apps. So when you meet someone you like, yeah,
we hear it all the time. So let's play a song.
Come back. We'll call this guy age. You'll be on
the phone. We're gonna see if we can figure out
what's going on. You're welcome to up and at some point,
and the hope, as always is that we can set
you up on another date and.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
Pay for that's do it.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Hey, Carmen, Hi, all right, let's call this guy Ace.
You've met on Hinge, the dating app, which a lot
of people are saying it's trash now, but I guess
we've moved on to other ones. But I don't know.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
What's a better one.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
I don't know there. I saw TikTok the other day
of a several other like more niche ones, but I
am not invested in any of them. Nonetheless, you met
this guy on Hinge, you chatted for a while, you met,
you thought the date went well, Carmen, except you haven't
heard from him since the date, and you want to
know why. All right, let's call him now? Good luck
than hell, hi's his Ace. This is this is him Ace.
(13:51):
Good morning. My name is Fred and I'm calling from
the Fred's Show, the Morning radio show, and I have
to tell you that we are on the radio right now,
and I would need your permission to get in with
the call. You can hang up anytime, okay, I uh
will confused as to why I'm on the radio ship right.
I know that's a very fair confusion to have, and
it's I don't want you to feel like you're the
(14:13):
only one. It's extremely common to be confused why radio
show would call you. But we're calling on behalf of
a woman named Carmen. Who you met her on Hinge,
the dating app and you guys recently went out. Do
you remember her?
Speaker 5 (14:24):
I hope, Uh yeah, I remember her?
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Okay, And see there goes the vocal tone. This tale's
the oldest time, guys, Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, So what
happened with her is because we just spoke to her
a minute ago. Seems like a nice person, uh said
that she enjoyed chatting with you after matching, and then
you went on a date and she thought that went
well and says that she can't get a hold of
you since then. So what's your side of the story.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
I mean, I'll be honest, she cat fished me.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Okay, Well, I know what catfishing means in that the
pictures didn't match the you know, the the in person appearance.
But I mean, how drastic was in your opinion? Was
the catfish like? Was it as?
Speaker 5 (15:03):
I mean, it wasn't like a like a weight gain
weight loss type of catfish. But she had braces on
the date and none of people were in her dating
app photos, and they weren't like regular braces.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
These were like.
Speaker 5 (15:18):
Nineties NERD railroad track braces like these are huge.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
I mean, what is she supposed to do? Like update
all the pictures with a big smile so you can
see that she's straightening her teeth? I guess I mean temporary?
Speaker 5 (15:30):
Yeah, I mean she could disclose that or I don't know,
it's twenty twenty five, like, you know, just other options
and visil lines this thing you hearing.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
Oh, well there's I did, there's Yeah, what is she
supposed to do? Asterisk like, is it on the dating
profile has braces?
Speaker 3 (15:48):
Yeah? Thanks? Yeah. First of all, they're not permanent sugain.
They were cheaper than in visil line. And third, what
do you want me to do a photo shoot with them?
I just got them, thinks I can you feel like it?
Speaker 1 (15:59):
Are they?
Speaker 5 (16:00):
Like I said, it's it's twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
There's other options. I mean, the line is one option.
That's are you an orthodonist? I mean, like, I guess,
and I think sometimes praises are faster too, but because
they're a little stronger in some cases, at least it
used to be that way when I had a Visiligne.
But why does she have to have something that is
esthetically more pleasing to you? Well don't won't you be
happy if you liked her as a human being and
(16:22):
then her teeth were straight in six months? I mean, yeah,
I like.
Speaker 5 (16:25):
Her aesthetically, It just it just makes you look like
a high schooler. And I'm also not trying to like
get cuts in my mouth or when we kiss or
I don't know, even worse, if you know some downstairs.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
That should happen.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
She's so shallow. I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
It's a myth. By the way, if this woman had
janky teeth, if she had perpendicular teeth to one another,
then you'd be complaining about that too. So so here's
something else to say. I'm sure right, So here she
is trying to improve herself because she wants to feel
good about it.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
If you really like her like this, get out hints,
don't do this to anybody else.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Well, that's the other thing at I don't mean to
rail on you here, but like, you did chat with
her for a while apparently, and then you met her
in person, so you liked her as a person at least.
I mean, the communication was good enough to keep it
going for a while. So is it really that much
to ask that you you liked everything except when she
smiled and saw braces and then in a few months
they're gone and then you're good? I mean, is it?
Are we that shallow?
Speaker 5 (17:23):
No, it's such shallow for me. It's a disclosure thing,
is trust? Like if I got a temporary eye injury
and I should have put an eyepatch it, I didn't
tell her. I'm pretty sure she would be like, well,
if that's all about you know, I.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
Wouldn't care at all, And I just got them this closure. Oh,
I got a new haircut, and I hope that's okay.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
That's such ful. Sounds like she has a communicable disease.
It's not going to go away, right. That could affect you.
And by the way, people don't disclose that either on
dating apps. You have to find out, hopefully because people
talk about it. But I don't know. Man, you have
every right to not go out with anybody you want,
but it seems it seems like you might be missing
out simply because of something that's temporary. What if she
(18:05):
had a bunch of hits on her face? Were you
gonna disqualify her for that too?
Speaker 3 (18:09):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (18:09):
I don't even know.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
I am to uh huh.
Speaker 5 (18:11):
I mean, but I've had women tell me that, like, hey,
I have a breakout.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
That's cool, awesome communication.
Speaker 5 (18:20):
If they're not willing to communicate something.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Hey I have a breakout, I have to give you
a heads up. Sure, no, straight to jail twenty five.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
They can pop on a pimple patch and call it
a day.
Speaker 5 (18:31):
I mean, or you could just buy a facial cleaner
and keep your face cleansed.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
Okay, because Ace is captain hid some people, I want
to look at you. Yeah, I know, do you mind?
Speaker 3 (18:42):
He did not have great kin.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
Look, you have every right. I just it's just very
shallow and it sounds like you're only really concerned about
one thing that it might scrape you somehow. But anyway,
it doesn't sound like you were anywhere near that happening
based on the what you're acting.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
I mean, I guess to each his own.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
I just my thing is this?
Speaker 5 (19:03):
You know, it's a it's a noticeable thing that wasn't
talked about. And if I showed up this, I'm pretty
sure the same thing.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
You know. I don't know, Maybe I'm weird.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
If I told you you wouldn't have gone out with me?
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Like what, that's a good question. That's a good question.
Speaker 5 (19:18):
Oh but I would have been able to prepare for it.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
I don't know. It's just you just communicate stuff. So
I'll ask the question as I know the answer, Would
you like to go out with Carmen? Again? Sounds like
a nice person, except oh, never mind ceph Tho's damn
braceis But okay, so she doesn't want to go out
with you, So I guess it doesn't matter what your
answer is. But a thank you for answering and for
talking with us, but good luck to both of you.
(19:41):
Calin's entertainer report is on the Bread Show.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
All right, So we all remember that grainy black and
white security footage of miss Solangnol's attacking her then or
no still, her brother in law Jay Z in an
elevator following that Matt Gala after party, right in twenty fourteen.
Speaker 5 (19:58):
I watch it.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
I watch it every day. Yeah, not just kidding. Oh,
it plays on loops sometimes in my heads.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
Yeah sure, yeah, it's stuck in a lot of our
brains because that was I mean, that was pretty shocking.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
Well.
Speaker 4 (20:09):
The leaked video then sparked, of course, a ton of theories,
as you know, including one of which claimed Solange's anger
stemmed from what she assumed was jay Z's alleged affair
with Rachel Roy. Now, eleven years later, after this infamous
incident that you know lives rent free in our head,
fashion designer Oscar G. Lopez is revealing what he says
(20:29):
is the actual reason for that altercation. So, in an
interview with The Daily Mail, he claims Rachel ran into
jay Z at the met gala and Oscar is the
dude who designed her dress. By the way, he said,
I think that Jay complimented her gown and Beyonce's sister
felt it was not proper in his words, so it
was kind of a drama there. Remember you see Solange
(20:50):
shoving and pushing Jay as security tried to restrain her.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
Miss Beyonce did not try to restrain her.
Speaker 4 (20:56):
Rachel asked Oscar to design this dress for the met
Gala after he one season one of Project Runway, the
spinoff under Tim Gunn. But the night of the event,
I guess she was late to the carpet, so she
was not able to get photographed.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
So Oscar kind of admitted when the news broke, the.
Speaker 4 (21:12):
Dress was all over the news, so he was like, okay,
I didn't design this for nothing, he says.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
Rachel laughed off the entire thing.
Speaker 4 (21:18):
The whole rumor is thinking it was so silly since
she was once married to Jay Z's former friend and
business partner.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Damon Dash she had.
Speaker 4 (21:25):
Interned at Rockaway if you didn't know the whole backstory,
the fashion label started by Jay and Damon before working
her way up to creative director of the woman's and
children's lines.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
And now then after that, jay Z and Solange.
Speaker 4 (21:37):
Released a joint statement, but then we got Lemonade, which
seemingly confirmed the affair, Becky with the good hair. A
lot of people thought it was Rachel and then one
of her the Rachel Roy Collections founder, she actually posted
on Instagram writing good hair, don't care, but then claimed
her comment was misconstrued.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
I don't buy it. I think there's more to the story.
I don't think she would have been that upset about
one comment.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
Well, she's upset, I think because they had an affair
and then he complimented her allegedly.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
And where has Oscar been all these years? Like what
you could have told us this when it happened.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Yeah, you know, what's he working on? What's project? You
know what I mean? Like what's he releasing right now? Book?
Or something like what do we doing? That would have
been useful information about five, six, seven years ago? Whenever?
Speaker 2 (22:23):
That was for sure.
Speaker 4 (22:24):
Yeah, so obviously jay Z confirmed it on one of
his songs in twenty seventeen. Yeah, I'll f up a
good thing if you let me leave me alone, Becky.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
A tale so old as time.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
But yeah, he's claiming that, and I don't think she
would be that mad about just to compliment.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
So I'm thinking there's a little exactly.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
Yeah, I think that they maybe did you know, allegedly
because I'm scared of jay Z and Beyonce. If you're
a Game of Thrones nerd like me, we are getting
a little bit more to watch.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
HBO release the final trailer.
Speaker 4 (22:52):
For A Night of the Seven Kingdoms, and it is
a prequel series set in the iconic fantasy world of Westros.
The video dropped during a panel in Brazil last night.
It takes place a century before the events that we
saw of Game of Thrones, following two young dudes when
the Targarian line still holds the Iron throne, which I
(23:14):
know means nothing to you guys, but I know people
will be happy and laslie real quick. I know you
guys don't watch this show, but you might think this
is interesting. So Lvia Flowers, she's a reality star. She
was on Southern Charm. If you watch, you know well.
She was engaged to be married last month in November.
She had a whole bachelorette in October. You know, did
(23:35):
the registry, did the things, the engagement photoshoot. Then they
released a joint statement that they were calling off their wedding,
but they were staying together, which I think is so interesting. Well,
she seemingly confirmed all of this and all the rumors.
She just posted a Instagram carousel and she said, here
are a few takeaways.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Your support system is everything. You can take a beat
for yourself.
Speaker 4 (23:59):
You can call off a wedding without calling off a relationship. Lastly,
returning registry gifts builds character.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
So she confirmed she called off her wedding. She sent
all the.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
Gifts back, but they are staying together. That is wild,
wild and very interesting, and you just wonder. But yeah,
and she posted him in the carousel, so I guess that.
But yet, that'd be really hard to return the gifts.
But I know a lot of people are still wondering
the reason, as she probably saw the parts of the
banquet halls. Kay, never mind the decorators and the kitchens, and.
Speaker 1 (24:31):
Let's just be together and be happy. We don't need
to do it right right And.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
Second thought, never mind.
Speaker 4 (24:36):
