And we've got a pair of ticketsto Kiss concert for Calle twenty five,
six, one, seven, nineeight. The keyword for the tickets is
going to be a guitar or asthey say in some parts at guitar.
The guitar or guitar is the keyword. And uh, while we wait for
College twenty five, you've got talkbackspouring in justin we gotta play catch up

(00:22):
here, I do. Yeah,a lot of people checking in on the
talkback Mike. That's that little redmicrophone. When you're listening to Kiss Live
on the iHeartRadio app, which isfree to download, you pull us up,
you hit the red microphone, yourecord a message. That message comes
to me, and they come inthrough the whole show. You know,
we can't get to all of them, but we do our best. But
we love when people check in fromaround the world. Billy, this one's

(00:44):
for you. Hey. This isLisa, longtime listener, first time talkbacker.
I am currently in Danang, Vietnam, listening on the iHeart app.
Thought Billy would think it was prettycool. Love listening to you guys,
especially from far away. How coolwas that? That is cool? My
sister was in dinnering last year reallyon vacation. Yeah, Tara is a

(01:08):
traveler. No, that was yeah, once you're once you get there,
it's very cheap. Oh yeah, very My friend went for a month and
he was like he got massages almostevery day for two dollars. Wow.
Yeah, you can. You canliterally take well the massages in Vietnam,
a little big massage with a bonus. Gay guys, they went to a

(01:30):
restaurant where they had they would massageyour feet while you ate lunch. Really
yeah, oh they should do thathere. Steve di Filipo, if you're
listening, you have to get flipmassages at Davio's. I always wanted to
go to Vietnam. I love togo to that's a long trips meet them,
Lisa. Yeah, yeah, andyour dad was doing that like boat,

(01:52):
the little circle boat thing. Whereare you like spinning you in it?
Yeah, it's really cool. Imean I would go anywhere, really,
you know, anywhere to learn othercultures. It all sounds good to
me. Yeah, well, there'snothing like going abroad that you got to
go overseas. There's so much tosee, so much to learn, so
much to do. Yeah, oneday, until then, I'm stuck here
with song. I'm stuck here withall this traffic. Wow, Lisa,

(02:13):
Holy traffic this week. Is theresomething going on around here that we don't
know about. It's been worse thanusual. Well, it's back to everybody's
back to school, they head off. So yeah, it's just spring,
I think, just everyone's out doingthings. Holy traffic, yep, so
much to do, so much tosee yep. I mean I had to

(02:36):
drive, you know, south onninety three when I left yesterday. I
don't know how you guys do that, Lisa, It's awful. And when
I go north, when I leavethe radio station ten thirty eleven, there's
no traffic. I was in trafficall the way down to the mass Pike.
Yeah, yeah, at ten am. You know, once you get
there, it's beautiful. Yeah.I'm sure if I lived south of Boston,

(02:57):
I would have to own a helicopter. Like, any time I have
to go south, I'm confident there'sno traffic. It's like twelve minutes.
It's very caddy. There's always trafficon ninety three south, always, always.
It just makes sense any time ofday, even at like eleven o'clock
at night you're coming home from dinner. Coming in from Boston and you think

(03:20):
it'll be quick. Nope. Sois ninety three South already jacked up?
Is it like right now jacked upthe expressway? Yeah, it's horrior it's
horrible. But I would think tenten thirty it would be slowing down.
Was bumping a bumper all the waythrough the tunnel mass Pike anytime at the
day. That's my ride home everyday. Yeah, same thing anymore,
every single day. Yeah. God, anyway, let's go to the phone,

(03:44):
so we have a winter Who isit, Lily, Lily of the
Valley? Good morning, Lily.Hello there, Good morning Lily. You're
calling twenty five. Isn't that nice? Oh my gosh, I'm floored.
Yeah, that's heart. Yeah,it's bragging rice. Where you go today,
Lily, You'll say I was collartwenty five and they'll say, what
the hell are you talking about? But we need a keyword. Guitar.

(04:11):
Guitar. Thank you so much.I love you guys all, Lily.
Don't hang up whatever you do,don't hang up. Producer Riley's going to
get your information. But off yougo to kiss contract. That's cool.
Yeah, there's a guitar and RhodeIsland that has everybody talking. Maybe a
big pop star is involved as well. Anyway, we're stories next, all

(04:41):
right. So it's well known thatTaylor Swift has a house in Westerly,
Rhode Island. While an excavation companywas charged with building a sea wall around
her house, and part of thesea wall was supposed to be this giant
eight foot guitar. Well, shenever picked it up. So now there's
basically a shrine in a parking lotwith the guitar. It's now set in

(05:01):
granite and so people can go andvisit it. A piece of art in
a Westerly, Rhode Island is findingfame after sitting in a parking lot for
almost a decade. The nearly eightfoot tall guitar, set in a slab
of granted was created for none otherthan Taylor Swift. It was supposed to
be built into the seawall around Swift'socean front home in twenty thirteen, but

(05:25):
it wasn't finished in time, soit has now been sitting there for more
than a decade. It is atrucking fans after going viral on social media.
Yeah, when you said Westerly,I was thinking, isn't that where
Taylor's house is yeah. Yeah,if you've been there or seen the guitar
for if you're to call us sixone seven nine, Yeah, I love
this one. We just had themarathon in Boston a couple of weeks ago,

(05:46):
right, Well, this wine merchantin England, his name is Tom
Gilby, not to be confused withAlan ghible that's Ghibley's Fine men's clothing.
The London Marathon, he ran theentire thing while doing a wine tasting.
He sampled twenty five different wines, one at each mile marker. And here

(06:10):
are some of the wine stops. It's London Marathon. Bay were starting with
a reg We're doing twenty six wines, one per mile prom pergacy. If
that's not a barodo, fine mea little bit of sugar, JOm shes
sure, okay, yeah. Atevery stop they would give him the wine,
he'd sample it and would have totell them exactly what it was,

(06:31):
so we get drunk. I wasgonna say it was he hammered at the
end of it. I'm guessing itat least had a slight buzz, or
he run it off. I don'tknow how that works. Good point.
May have run it off. Butanyway, yeah, maybe next year the
marathon. Somebody can do it here. I guess, Lisa, I'll do
it. You love wine, Ican tell just take a sip, you
know, you have to drink thewhole glass. When do you go?

(06:53):
Okay? So you guys know, drumsticks like the ice cream, yeah,
I love People are noticing that itactually doesn't melt like when you like,
you know, when you hold icecream cone for a while to melt all
over you. These really don't Andit's actually like some signs behind it,
and the drumstick official account has beentalking about it. It's because of the
way that the drumstick is formulated versusregular ice cream drumstick. They contain a

(07:19):
little bit more of an ingredient, which is known as an emulsifier. And
an emulsifier it doesn't really sound toohealthy. It's essentially allows you to mix
two different phases together. So oiland water don't mix, but if you

(07:39):
add an emulsifier, they will. The fat is a lot more stable in
solution with the water because there's amulsifier in there, and that's likely in
there to help the frozen dessert keepit structural integrity, so it does not
melt you you know what a mulsifier. But if you think about how a

(08:00):
layer of the peanuts or the knotsand the chocolate and they would need something
like that. But here's the thing. How often you're gonna eat a drumstick?
You know what I mean? Justenjoy it when you have it.
Yeah, in dulge a little bit. Don't eat them every night. Yeah,
we'll find out in ten years.Yeah, you have to eat four
hundred thousand drumsticks in a twenty fourhour period to have it affect you.
Well, I eat it from thebottom. Oh yeah, delicious, the

(08:20):
bottom corner there and oh it's thebest go ahead. I've never heard of
that, eating it from the bottom. Yeah, all right. A sheriff's
office in South Carolina, Okay, yeah, we're just going to keep moving.
That's sheriff's office in South Carolina hadto ask people to stop calling nine

(08:41):
to one one to file noise complaintsbecause they keep hearing this weird roaring sound,
which ended up being cicicados. Theysound like a like a buzzing and
like a clicking knife. Like duringthe day it just sounds like a high
pitched humming. But at night itsounds like a jungle exceptionally loud. They
were they were out pretty good inour neighborhood. I love hearing the accident.

(09:05):
Oh yeah, they're out pretty good, and the poor police has to
have to you know respond. Okay, so we all know President Biden struggled
sometimes, right, you know,he missed his words here and there.
So he was at a press conferenceyesterday and reading from the prompter. He
had, you know, chanting fourmore years. He was supposed to pause

(09:30):
after four more years. So theneverybody starts chanting, right. Well,
the problem is he actually read theword pause of imagine what we could do
next four more years? Uncle Jame. It's not doing too good these days.

(09:52):
It could happen to the best ofit. He should practice. Well,
he's done that a few times. But you know, so what he
does his best well, Jake coldJade, he's just like Grandpa at the
table, his nap when he wrapit up. Okay, So I respect
this so much. There's a ministerof a couple getting married after the woman

(10:13):
asked the guy out right after hewas her grub Hub delivery driver. Oh
if this doesn't say love, Ihappened to have like a pang on my
phone from grub Hub that I hada coupon. I was like, I
love good coupon. Yes, Isaw that. It was like fast approaching.
I was like, perfect, they'regoing to drop it off in the
lobby. I look grubby, andthen this number calls me. I was

(10:35):
like, oh no, it's theGrubhub guy. He wants me to go
down there and get my food.So I went down. I'm walking down
the stairs and I see him.I was like, oh no, he's
cute. He's so cute and Iwas not cute, and I had this
number on me, so I waslike, maybe I should text this number.
Like what's the worst thing that canhappen if if he already has a
girlfriend, or he's like not interested, I'm never going to see him again.

(10:56):
You really never know when you're goingto meet somebody, or yeah,
how shoot your shot, baby, you got to shoot your shot. What
was the outcome? Do we knowthey're getting married? Yeah, you're getting
married? Well I tried, theyshould have cater the wedding. Yeah,
really should already after he read thatJoe story and that he doesn't listen to

(11:18):
what I'm saying. Yeah, wellhe has selective. Harry, Yeah,
do you blame me? What doyou got coming up? Bill? Entertainment
is coming up good news and badnews for the Boston teams and sports fans.
Uh, we've got that. AndBilly Eilish had an interesting admission that
we may or may not address. So we'll find out when entertainment comes up.

(11:39):
Nick up Brown from the Boston Southics, and we're back with Billy and
Lisa. In the morning. Wekiss went away Billy and Lisa when we
ball him. I said it beforeand I'll say it again, my man,
anytime you want, Lisa and Iare going to jump on the court.
They might need you this weekend afterlast Wow, it didn't go well.
Yes, we had weird stories acouple of minutes ago, and one

(12:01):
of the ones that Lisa had wasthis Taylor Swift guitar shrine yea in Rhode
Island, in the town that shehas a house. Since we were kind
of chatting about that and we askedpeople to call in that have maybe been
down there and seeing the shrine.Yeah, good morning morning crew. The
guitar story for Taylor Swift's vacation homein Rhode Island actually reminded me that I

(12:22):
grew up going to the vacation homewith my family because somebody who my mom
worked for owned the house. Andso yeah, I went there until I
was like fourteen every summer and Ihad photoproof. So yeah, haven't I
say, guys, that's so cool. Yeah. Does Taylor ever go to
that house anymore in Rhode Island? Not a lot, not a lot,

(12:45):
But I think she probably still does, or maybe her parents go. She
used to go a lot when shewas hanging with the supermodel well during her
Tom Hittleston phase. Yeah, thatwas floating Swans a mess for having that
big July fourth party with Blake Livelythere. Ed Sheeran was there, was
there. Yeah, it's when shewent through that phase where she bought a

(13:05):
house wherever her like boyfriend was near. Yeah, Hyana support. Yeah.
So does she have people that takescare of the house. Yes, she
does. Oh yeah. Did theystay there you think or do they just
go by and kind of clean itup and they probably have a caretaker.
Yeah, I would think that theydo. Yeah, and the landscapers are
always there. You got to keepit up, you know. Okay,

(13:26):
we appreciate you checking on the onthe talk back. That's a pretty cool
story. Yeah, you ready togo there, Bud? You know what,
let's do it now the entertainment updatewith a Billy Consta. Thank you
very much. She's saying the BillyCosta. I thought I heard that too.
Yeah, it does kind of soundlike that. That's all right.

(13:46):
Your instagram is the Billy Costa.By the way, going forward, I
would appreciate it if you would addressme as the Billy Costa. It goes
for you too. Pro al right, William, So good news bad it
was for the Boston sports fans. The good news is the Bruins beat the
least for to last night, sothey take a two to one lead in
that series. Marshannon had the gamewinner. It's not a given that you

(14:09):
get the opportunity to play in StanleyCup playoffs and kind of woke up with
that gratitude of being excited understanding thatit's a gift to play in this league
and in playoffs is something that youknow, we dreaming about as kids.
Yeah, a long way to goin the playoffs. The NHL playoffs seem
like they go on forever anyway.Game four in Toronto Saturday night, that'll
be an eight o'clock puck drop.Celts providing the bad news. Last night

(14:33):
they lost to the Heat here inBoston one eleven, one oh one,
so they've given up the home courtadvantage. The series now tied it one
game a piece. Jalen Brown onthe lost. I just thought they made,
you know, a lot of shotsthat we normally will feel comfortable with.
But it's the playoffs. It iswhat it is. You got to
adjust and we got to play ball, so we gotta respond. Is it

(14:56):
is what it is. Let's hopeit's not last year. Jason Tatum.
Tough series, right, It's notsupposed to be easy. It's not an
easy road to where both teams willtrying to get trying to get to some
tough competitive basketball. You know,we knew that they were going to respond
and play better from the first game, and they did. Game three in
Miami Saturday night, six o'clock tipoff, So you'll have the Celts at

(15:20):
six, you'll have the Bruins ateight. And weren't you saying earlier that
what's his name, Messy'll be he'llbe here at Gullette playing the Revs at
four thirty. I believe. Soyou got the Revolution at four, boy,
it's a big Saturday night. Youshould have a house party, having
a house party. Actually, fourthirty the Revolution, six o'clock the Celtics,
eight o'clock the Bruins. I'm surethe Red Sox are in there somewhere.

(15:43):
Yeah. By the way, theywon eight nothing yesterday. But also,
why you know I hate about thisis that they take three days between
games the NBA, Like they playedWednesday and now they would play it on
Saturday. Yeah, Like, it'sjust like and they played Sunday Wednesday Saturday,
Like we can't do every other day, like I mean the profession.
I'm guessing it's good for the legs. It's good for recovery. We want

(16:03):
them fully rested, recovered for thenext game. They're hot. They're hot.
Don't you want them hot? Whenhe's like, can I play every
day? Yeah, never mind, let's earn that money. Exactly, earn
that thirty mili don't forget. NFLDraft is tonight. The Patriots have the
third pick overall. We'll see whatthey do with it. I'm guessing they'll
go in the direction of a quarterbackand work from there. They could trade

(16:27):
up they could trade down. Wedon't know for sure. There are reports
suggesting Bill Belichick is in line tomake millions even without a head coaching job,
and I tend to agree with thatreport. I do too. He'll
do fine. I know. He'spart of the draft coverage with the Pat
McAfee show tonight. That's the startof it. There's actually a rumor he
may join the Manning Brothers for theirpodcast during the game. He does a

(16:49):
good job. It's just with hispress conferences as a coach, he just
decides not to do a good job. And don't forget the most important thing
is knowledge, and who has moreknowledge than Bill Belichick. He's also talking
about a book and maybe one ofhis own podcasts, and we'll see where
that all goes. So Taylor Swift'snew album, As if she hasn't achieved
enough with this album, it's thefirst album to surpass the one billion mark.

(17:15):
That's a billion streams on Spotify injust one week. No, that's
that's an insane number, right,Yeah, And what's the new juice on
Taylor? Taylor and Travis the family. Well, we love a good mom
and a good mother in law.We love Donna Kelce, she's like the
real deal. Well, she wasat a QBC event in Vegas yesterday and

(17:36):
she was overheard talking to someone sayingthat Travis and Taylor are hanging out with
Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper and they'regoing on vacation together up in Carmel,
California. Who does she spell thatteach to when you're a QBC mom?
This is this is so yeah,Nannie. I mean, you shall tell

(17:57):
anybody everything, my whole neighborhood, the whole everyone knows that I work on
the radio stage, she tells everybody. But what is Travis's mom doing with
QVC. It was an event,so it was an Age of Possibility summit,
so she was obviously there as aninvited guest. She also commented on
the new Tortured Poets Department album, saying that she's very impressed. She listened

(18:18):
to the whole thing. She thinksTaylor is a very talented woman, and
she thinks it's probably her best workyet. This is Donna Kelsey. Donna,
Yeah, she helped. Is Donnafamiliar with all the rest of Taylor's
work? She told People Magazine this, yeah, but she's a proud mama
and she could be a mother inlaw very soon. Wow. Yes,
where's a prediction we have? Thebow involves a bet on this show that

(18:41):
Travis is going to propose by September. I have it written down here,
I have it for so. Yeah, the bet is before September he'll propose.
Lisa, Billy and myself Justin aregoing to put fifty dollars into the
pool. Billy and I both sayno, Travis will not propose before September.
Lisa says yes, I'm yeah,I'm going out on a limb here.

(19:03):
Yeah, come on, Travis.Okay, I wouldn't be surprised.
I just don't see it happening bythis is I think is I wouldn't be
surprised, but I don't think it'llbe public. I just I think they're
gonna they were so hush hush atthe beginning of the relationship like that when
they started off. I think they'llget engaged, but they might not say
anything. Okay, So if that'sthe case, do I will I win

(19:26):
the bet eventually comes out, Butthen why do you have to get your
money back after? Because they're gonnatake it. If there is a specific
date and you can prove it.But now, justin I'm starting the second
guess myself because maybe if he's planningto propose, he'll want to get it
done before the season. Yow,are you gonna walk your bet back?

(19:48):
I'm not. I'm sticking with it. No, BET's a bet. The
BET's a bet. That's what theysay on the streets. But to be
fair, he's either going to doit this before the season or after the
season. So it's either going tobe this summer or like next springk But
for this bet on this show,it's going to be by September first,
yes, or Lisa, you knowwe said September. It could be by

(20:10):
septembery run it back bye. Wesaid by September, which means by does
that means no? No? By? First of all, why are you
talking? You didn't get involved inthe bet. By September could be at
the end of September thirtieth? Really, oh, I thank you. Yeah,
you said by September in a date. It's different, it's by.

(20:33):
It's really I'm going to lose ona technicality. I just can't win a
bet. You know what I voted? No, I mean I bet no,
and you bet you're a Munsch heis. I know. God.
Anyway, Jiselle got pulled over inMiami driving her one hundred and forty thousand
dollars Mercedes. Was it a Gwagon? It was a g I you

(20:56):
know, I want a GA wagonso bad, Bill Goes, I had
one. It's not back. Okay, you had a car? Ye,
you shut up? I think?Oh? Was she wagon? Meces?
Oh? I love Europe Mercedes?Guy, Remember the time I messed up
in Mercedes. She caused forty thousanddollars in damage to my brand new Mercies.

(21:19):
It's like Hay and Ford on myinsurance. She never left the building.
Yeah, she was pulled over. She burst into tears. They say
that's the best thing to do.Yeah, if you can. I mean,
I think this is legit. Ithink she was really upset. Yeah,
she wasn't faking it. Kid Guttycanceling the tour that includes Boston,
by the way, would have cometo the TD Garden July twenty fourth.

(21:41):
He broke his foot at Coachella aweek or so ago and had to cancel
the tour, and Tom Brady fansare furious. They went to an event
in Miami Apparently Tom was signing autographs. They brought a lot of their own
stuff that was worth money, buthe was just kind of scribbling on their
merch and it's not worth anything matterI think about. When I sign my
name, all I do is scribble. When I sign my name for anything,

(22:03):
it's just a scribble me too,Like I don't know. Yeah,
one more thing on Taylor Swift.Apparently the new album is triggering a surge
in the sale of old fashioned typewriters. Oh yeah, well that's in the
video. Remember there's a typewriters shopin the IoT and Tom Hanks, remember
he donated one of his typewriters. We got to get him on because owners

(22:29):
and repair people of old fashioned typewritersare saying they're seeing it serge. Yeah,
this kind of typewriter right here.Yeah, Tom Hanks had a very
old one that was sitting at hishouse and he randomly mailed it to the
shop in Arlington. It was reallya story the guy on. We had
him on. Yeah, Oh that'sright, So now we have to have
him on again. I don't thinkwe need to actually, Yeah, so
I love the band train. Isthat a problem? No? I like

(22:53):
Nickelback. I like Train okay, and they've had a new album on the
way, and they're planning on launchinga summer tour and it's gonna be Are
you ready for this one least? It's gonna be co headlined. This is
the main reason I'm doing this story. It's gonna be co headlined by Rio
Speedwagon. Okay, what's one oftheir songs? Oh? I always confuse?

(23:22):
Was Ario the same as Frampton? No? Here, Frampton wasn't the
lead singer in Rio Speedwagon. Can'tfight this failing as one of those I
knew, I knew something. Yeah, I can't fight this feeling again.
Yeah, you don't get a lotof Rio Speedwagon really and probably for good.
Yeah. Weren't they an arena band? Yeah? They were arena rock.

(23:51):
I saw them at Cape Cod Colisseumyears ago. Yeah, very it's
eighties, right, late eighties, mid eighty Yeah, arena rock man.
Richard Marx is a member of theRio. Sh Okay, I know him.
Yeah, I know the Boss getsfurious when we do this, But
I just this, this, thisreport is going to trick your meeting.
Yeah, Justin's having her part publication. Just No, I can't make the

(24:15):
meeting. You gotta go buy yourMercedes she Wagon. Were brought to you
by the Bancroft School calling girl basketballplayers thirteen to seventeen. You don't want
to miss the opportunity to learn fromformer WNBA and Division one college athletes at
Bancroft School. This summer. It'sthe Campco Elite Basketball Clinic. It's being

(24:37):
held in Worcester from July thirtieth toAugust first. So space is limited,
so you've got to get in onthis fast. Go to Bancroftsummer dot org
today and sign up and there yougo. Oh lord, won't you buy
me? Universe friends all the lastname name. We're back with the Villi

(25:02):
and Lisa in the morning, andwe are back Happy Thursday everybody, and
a little behind the scenes of theBilly and Lisa Morning Show. One thing
is absolutely certain. We never knowwhat's going to move the needle on this
show. You know, we comeup with these hardcore topics, you know,
things we think are going to explode, and then we mentioned these really

(25:26):
simple little things and those are theones that explode. For instance, this
morning early we mentioned that it's notonly Thursday today, it is national telephone
day. Now, justin correct meif I'm wrong. You have been inundated
with talkbacks on the telephone. Well, a lot of people want to talk
about the telephone. You know,a lot of like the old school telephones.

(25:47):
And you know, back in theday when they were growing up with
that was like obviously, you know, it wasn't that long ago that we
had landlines right in the house.Yes, you know, cell phones have
been around for a while, butnot everybody had a cell phone way back
then, right, you know whatI mean? You had things like remember
this one call waiting. I rememberhaving call waiting and go I was the
coolest kid in the school because Ihad call waiting, so sad, you

(26:15):
know. And I remember when Igot our first cordless phone. Oh right,
yeah, remember when you couldn't youwent on the internet, you couldn't
use the phone. So my momwould be like, Okay, you can
go on the internet for like twentyminutes, but then like your grandma is
gonna call me Tony. Yeah.Do you remember the party line? Oh,
Justin has stories from the party line? No way, did you?

(26:37):
Did you just ask me what youknow about the party line? Of course
I knew everybody knew about the partyline. The party line. The party
line was a number you'd call. This is how we picked up girls and
you met other other girls and guys. So every weekend we'd go on the
party line. It was a freenumber, it was a revere number,
this particular one, and you'd callthem. They were just like chat rooms.
So you'd go into the rooms andyou say, who's in here?

(26:57):
And then this would say it's Ashleyfrom Somer Thell and I'd be like,
it's Justin from Malden. What areyou doing tonight? I'm partying over here.
I come and then we all meetup and party. Justin met some
broads from Quincy. Oh oh yeahI did. Yes, I did from
Quincy. Yeah yeah. And theparty line predated, like the data is,

(27:22):
yeah, how does it not existnow? Now? Does it not
exist? I don't know. Idon't know, but we had a lot
of great times. I actually metsome really cool people on there. I
mean, if you think about itnow, right looking back, we would
just meet these people and show upat their house. We know who they
were. They know who you werenow than who I was either. How
about this if the party line existednow it would probably have a better success

(27:45):
ratio than the I I think sotoo, Yeah, because you're talking to
them. At least you're talking.Yeah, there's an open conversation with people.
Oh you know what, they lettexting? Yeah, and and and
we didn't have a you know,a phone to text each other, right,
so they never really looked how youthought they were going to have And
the same thing said about me too. You know, maybe you were a

(28:08):
four hundred pounder, was he wasn't? He was strung out on drugs?
Yes, but you have both.I think you'd ask them to describe themselves
and they would and they would neveryou know, exactly match up exactly.
So while the party line if anygirls party line, that's yeah, I'm
not going to say that number.Yeah, roam in the streets. Yeah,

(28:30):
there were a few from Quincy thatwe had, so yeah, that's
crazy. Another part of the discussionwe had earlier was area codes. Now,
I guess I was really little, but there was a time when there
were no area codes, right, you could just use the other numbers,
seven numbers. Do you know whythey added the area codes? Anybody,
anybody I used to know, doyou know it? I forget someone to

(28:51):
do with state. I have theanswer. So the reason we need to
dial the area code is because weran out of telephone numbers. Used to
not have to dial the area codebecause we had enough numbers. And they
added in seven eight one because theyneeded another area code to keep up with
the telephone numbers. Just a littlefast now I remember that, and that's

(29:15):
why if you live in Maine, there's no one in Maine. So that's
why they don't have enough numbers. You don't. We learned that this morning
as well. Man, you don'thave to dial the area code because there's
only one. Yeah, well yougo to Maine to high that's nobody's looking
for you in Mayeki. How abouthow about this one from Lewis Man.
Imagine being this guy. I goodmoran, everyone, This is Louise.

(29:38):
Today's a National Phone Day. Somy story with National Phone Day years ago.
I have to change my phone number, I believe it or not,
because they should a litle bit ofmed firm. My phone number used to
be seven eight one nine one oneaway. Wow. Every morning I get

(30:00):
a lot of phone folks. Maybeyeah, obviously we're six on everyone want
to wait? He's seven eighty one, nine, three one. I want
to want to wait? So everyday at seven ten, it's phone ring,
Yes, Hello, did I win? Oh God, we'll wrap it
up next kids won to wait ifthe morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa

(30:22):
in the Morning gave a huge congratulationsto our own Lisa Donovan had a very
successful book club last night. Iwasn't able to attend Lisa. I did
watch the stream though it looked likea great time on everyone It's book club
Courtney Lisa last night. It wassuch a cool event. I loved having
the floor authors just such a coolidea and hearing all their stories. I

(30:45):
definitely want to go through and readthe rest of the books. And I
want his concert tickets. If I'mnot too pregnant, I'll definitely go.
If not, I'm sure my friendwill take them. They won't go to
Waite. I just don't want tobe the first kids concert birth. She's
our first book club baby. Sheis yeah right, she is yeah.

(31:07):
So you have another one coming upleast June fourth, and it will be
at the Veronica Beard Boutique with MarissaMeltzer, who wrote Glossy, Very good,
Cool Veronica Beard, that's your favoritestore I now, and this will
be the second year that they're hostingus, and it's very exclusive because they
can only hit fit like right.Yeah, it's a small store. And
a few days before that will beKissconcert June first at the Expirinity Center.

(31:30):
We're talking Doja Cat, Jason Derulo, Shine Down, and so many more.
We're giving away tickets on the MorningShow seven ten A ten, nine
ten. We do topic time atseven forty if you missed it. A
couple of the topics that we had. One was the weirdest dating bios you've
come across. So I don't havea weird profile on a dating app to

(31:52):
share, but I do have somecrazy messages that I could definitely share.
The last one that I got andwhen I decided to quit online dating was
when somebody sent me a message thatsimply just said poop and then I quit.
Yeah, it's a tough world outthere. Yeah, dating awful to

(32:14):
the party line. Oh, speakingof the party line, Yeah, a
lot of feedback on the party line. I guess I'm not really sure how
this works. I guess we weretalking about two different party lines, I
thought, so, Yeah, Ithink you were talking about something where someone
joined jerk. Yours was a weirdone that I wasn't aware of. I
don't Yeah. The one I wasthinking about it was like, yeah,

(32:35):
you could have several people on thephone with you at the same time.
I had that thought because when theparty line was popular, you were married.
It was the late nineties, earlytwo thousands. I got to be
honest, I had no idea whatyou were talking about, but I was
entertained by it. Yeah. Yeah, that's how my friends and I would
meet other people, other girls onweekends. We'd go on this party line

(32:57):
and there would pep people from othercities and we would just show up and
party with them. Yeah. Itwas a good time, and I wasn't
the only one. Oh my god. My ex boyfriend's sister got me into
so many shenanigans with that party line. We always ended up at Jillian's with
a fake ID obviously. Yeah.Wow, l a Billiard parler, Yeah
yeah. Yeah. The other topicthat we had for topic time was solo

(33:20):
travel. This one was even popular, more popular, you know, people
traveling alone. I highly recommend travelingsolo, at least once. I've traveled
to Southeast Asia, India, Spain, France, Italy, so many countries
of South America on my own,and you always end up meeting people,
You always end up making friends, you know. I recommend staying in places

(33:44):
where there are other solo travelers, like youth hostels, you know, and
I hope to do that one thatmy daughter does it one day. Okay,
once you have seen the movie Hostel, you're not staying in a hostel
that. It's really frightened. It'slike it makes the Saw movies look like
Disney. Yeah. You guys forcedme to go. Well, that's right.
We sent you on assignment to alsoone or two. It was the

(34:07):
first one, and it was rightwhen I started dating my husband Tim.
Yeah, and he's I said Ihave to go to this movie for work,
and he looked at me like, okay, where do you work?
And justin we made her sit inthe front row. Oh god, awful.
There was so much controversy around thatmovie when it came out because of
how gory it is. Yeah,it was so bad. Wow, that's
crazy thinking once the movie still thiscrazy? Oh? Tim went with you?

(34:32):
Yes, oh god. And finally, if you miss Billy's story,
he got into an accident. Hethinks yesterday We don't really know what happened.
There's a mark on his car,but he doesn't know if the person
hit him or what. All weknow is the person that was left behind
that Billy drove away from is probablyhappy this morning. Oh Billy, I'm

(34:55):
sure that he was still parked orshe was still park watching you drive away
and getting your information. Yeah, only just then the thank you card for
driving away, you know, thefirst the other person's always at fault,
you know, So that's he watchedyou drive away and was thinking saving so

(35:15):
much money. He couldn't believe Iwas leaving the scene of the crime,
and I thought it was to getmy plate number. That's what made me
nervous. I said. Anyway, what's up Boston? Justin Bieber this party
right now and we're back with Billyand Lisa in the morning. We sure
are, and welcome back everybody.Another crazy, am I lying? This

(35:36):
show is crazy every day. Wehave so much going on every single day
on this show. We cover alot of grounds. All right, let's
get to what we really want totalk about. Bill, And what is
that Justin cheezed earlier that you're goingto reveal to us what made you emotional
yesterday. Okay, I was tryingto avoid it. Okay, but okay,
here we go. Look at producerRiley's in there. She not only

(35:58):
knows what I'm going to say,but she stands sedge of your seat stuff
here. So I don't know, was it you, Lisa? They kept
saying to me, Oh, yougot to watch Outer Banks. You would
love it, yes, because you'rea boater and it's about North Carolina and
it's beautiful. And I got totell you you were right. As I
started watching, I was like,oh God, I love the Outer Banks.
I've watched the fishing shows that takeplace in the Outer Banks, you

(36:21):
know. And but then I startedgetting close to the relationships in the show,
and I mean young love. Therewas a lot of For those of
you that don't know what Our Banksis, it's about fourteen five teenagers who
a treasure a treasure hunt. They'reall throughout the Outer Banks, so there's

(36:42):
obviously a lot of teen love.Yeah, and they were from different neighborhoods,
so to speak. You have thegirl that's rich and then you have
the poor kids. Yeah, thepoor kids are in the cut. Right.
Uh did I get that right? It's not called the just keep going
okay, and the rich kids arereally rich kids, and somehow they ended
up paying together and it turns intothis big treasure hunt. And there's a

(37:02):
lot of drama. There's a lotof drama, there's a lot of thievery,
there's a lot of backs well.As you get more and more involved
with this is so embarrassing for agrown man, you know, just the
relationships between the guys and the women, and and you broke down and really
really bad fathers doing bad things constantly, the father son things. Yeah,

(37:30):
I was all I can say isthis. I don't know how many people
listening watched outter Banks three seasons.Right, So yesterday I watched the final
episode of the final season, andI was alone at home on the couch
with Titus and openly weeping. I'mnot wishing. I welled up, openly,

(37:51):
tears running down my face. Andas the tears were running down my
face, I was humiliated for myself, but I couldn't stop crying. You
are ugly crying. We call thatugly cry? Is that what it is?
It's called when you well up.It's one thing, when you ugly
cry. Yeah, it wasn't thatbad. Can I add one more thing
to show the story that he toldme off the air that after he watched

(38:13):
Outer Banks and cried, he proceededto watch A Star Is Born with Bradley
Cooper and Lady Yaga and had anotherugly cry yesterday afternoon. What's going on
with you? I've seen? Iknow we Nachelle thinks there's something wrong with
me because I always rewatch movies sevenand eight times. And she said,
oh, She'll walk into the livingroom and say, oh my god,

(38:36):
this is on again. So Staris Born I've seen probably eight times.
We just play the song. Weknow it's this song. Oh God,
here it is. Weeps every time. You know, his wife Michelle's like,
this is a man. I'm married. She doesn't want to start another
fire. She doesn't want to feelyour touch. She had the touch of

(38:59):
her lifetime. Oh my god,Billy, Yeah, this is making me
uncomfortable. And I cried again toA Star is Born. But the music
in that movie is sensational. Itwas perfectly played. And I think a
good cry is always very cathartic.Yes, and I think real men do
cry. I think they do.Back to Bill's lack of therapy, that
Lisa and I have been begging himto go through. He has deeper issues

(39:22):
around his relationship with his father, and this is where the crying came from.
I know exactly where it came from. That's the thing about Outer Banks
is it's it's a John Be's relationshipwith his dad. Yeah, because well,
well how's Billy C doing? Andthen there's the relationship between Sarah and

(39:43):
her dad because both dads are monstrous, especially so when they have these interactions,
it brings me back. Well,it's emotional abandonment, that's it.
So John B experienced that, andso Billy C. I am John B.
Yeah. You're not gonna say though, Billy as somebody who you know,
has some trauma from growing up withyour parents and all that. Yeah,

(40:05):
you did pretty well for yourself together. But I don't feel that as
I'm watching John Dee, we're proudof you, like you. We're back
with Billy and Lisa in the morning, Kissed One to lead Poor. I
love those new intros. They soundso big, don't they big as life?
Oh? Yeah, you know what, It's good. The freshing things

(40:28):
up right, Yeah, you know, new, improved, fresh, Oh
god, so fresh, go Celtics, go Bruins. It's the playoffs.
Okay, stuff happens, all right, you win, you lose. All
you can pray for is that youmake it to the next round. So
the Celtics gave one up last night, the Bruins one last night. Uh
So, playoffs are back Saturday night. The good news is we got both

(40:49):
games in one night. It's aSaturday night. Uh So we'll watch the
Celtics at six o'clock Saturday night. We'll watch the Bruins at eight o'clock Saturday
night. And I don't know whatyou're gonna do with this information, but
it is National Telephone Day. Idon't know. You pick up the phone,
call somebody. Yeah, you knowexactly somebody you care about, pick
up the phone. So listen.I know every day at this time I

(41:14):
have a new thing where I liketo celebrate the Mighty One, the mighty
McCabe who comes in right after usat ten o'clock or so every morning.
This morning, we really do havereason to celebrate the mighty one, because
it turns out he is a finalistin the seagull Calling contest happening in Gloucester,

(41:37):
Massachusetts, and justin I think youhave his audition. That's the mighty
sounds like that sounds like a thatsounds like a winner to me. Oh
my god. Wait, Monday hewas deadlifting a thousand pounds. Yesterday he
was Irish step dancing, and todayhe's a seagull. Yeah, and I
think he's wearing a diaper now.So listen, The Mighty One comes in

(42:00):
