Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now this morning show in Boston.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Billy and Lisa in the morning. It's just a great
start to my day on kids one to wait.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Okay, good morning everybody, and a happy Monday to you all.
It is today, April seventh. If you're keeping score, and
if we're all sounding a little tired, a little exhausted
this morning, that's because we had a white Lotus packed
morn everyone.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
It's book club Courtney who else only washed white loatus
so they could listen to Billy and Lisa this morning.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Definitely need some extra coffee today.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
It wasn't white Loadus, so good. Okay, we're not going
to say much about it yet. You know, I told
you right away we'ld do it, but we're going to
give people a little time.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I agree, But I like the pack that we all
had together, and we all did it, Yeah we did.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
One of us. Want some money, yes, oh that's right. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
We can't say who yet, No, we can't.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
But it's seven point fifteen. We're going to break it down.
Who was killed, who did the killing, what happened. All
I know is I'm tired.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
I think there's a little controversy with the bet too,
still a little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Oh, I can see at least saying well.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
And I think you might agree. Oh okay, being the
reasonable man that you are, Okay, right.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Well discuss it all.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Seven fifteen.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
I wasn't aware that it was controversy.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
There's a little controversy.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Was there cheating?

Speaker 2 (01:20):
No, no, no, it's just sort of there are multiple
theories that we had. I think that yeah, yeah, it's
open for discussion.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Okay, either way, I've already paid up, so.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Did I Yeah, I think you don't get my money.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
If if you listen to this show with any regularity,
you know that if there's any kind of a pact
or bet, I will lose.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Well, we knew that going in.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Yeah, I know, going like, I don't know why I
keep doing it, but yeah, there's no way ever that
I would win a bet.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
I'm convinced we don't watch the same things as you
because you take things so differently than the rest of us.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Did that happen? Was that the same show?

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Yeah? So yeah, So the white loatus the finale last
night kept us all up late seven fifteen. We're going
to give you some time. That's less than an hour
from now, but spoiler alert. At seven point fifteen, we're
going there and.

Speaker 6 (02:15):
We'll give your heads up before you know. Yeah, so
you have a moment when that time comes to kind
of switch off and switch back on.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Yeah, okay, crazy weekend though, March madness. I watched a
Yukon win the championship yesterday. That was Can.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
We talk about the Duke game?

Speaker 7 (02:32):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Did you guys watch that? Okay, totally. I was just
going to say that that show completely derailed them.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Yeah, heavy favorite. The guy wearing the stupid Duke T
shirt in the white Loadus it was.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
It was a jinx. I'm telling you.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
By the way, that guy supposedly in the plot line, right,
was like a billionaire like loaded right, and yet only
had one T shirt on vacation. It was just I
did buy that.

Speaker 6 (03:00):
I'm like, yeah, school spirit Now they went like out
of their way to show him wearing the T shirt. Yes,
the Duke shirt. Yeah what happens?

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Oh yeah. People were getting upset, people from Duke. They
were embarrassed that that show be connected in any way.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
They released a statement.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Yeah, yeah, oh boy, what a show though. I got
to tell you to one of those shows. But the
big question this morning, at some point, what are we
going to be watching now. I already started a show
House of David. Okay, very biblical, by the way, wouldn't
hurt you winning back there? It's a religious oh very much.

Speaker 6 (03:38):
So okay, yeah that's what you need, Billy, Yeah, I
need faith.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Yeah, the House of David. Yeah, it's it's good. I
think we're fourth four episodes in already.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
We're moving into you know, Easter.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Yeah, well what else is coming? I mean you when
does you arrive?

Speaker 2 (03:56):
April twenty fourth? Yeah, it's the final season.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
All right. Okay, how about the Red Sox. They're looking good.

Speaker 6 (04:04):
Dude, they're looking good. I watched a lot of socks
this weekend. They're looking pretty good. I gotta be honest.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Well, I wanted to watch because I wanted to get
to know some of the players better, because you know,
we have a lot of new faces on the team.
But yeah, they won both games the doubleheader yesterday. So yeah,
they're above five hundred. Yeah yeah, Bregman Homer, so yeah,
big weekend for the Red Sox out there in Fenway Park.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Only nine months left.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Yeah, play a lot of games, you know, like if
if you were going for any professional sport, justin let's
start with you what would you do. I mean, their
schedule is insane.

Speaker 6 (04:46):
I'd say football is the shortest. Yeah, takes the most
toll on your body. Yeah, so's it's a given a
take there.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
And baseball has more games in basketball, right.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
Yes, yes, fastball is eighty eighty games, Yeah, eighty eight
or something.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Hockey is the one sport where they legitimately play until June.
If you're in the playoffs, it's like another whole season. Yeah,
to make the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Yeah, that's because all but one team makes the playoffs.
That's another weird thing.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
Yeah, the fact that the Bruins were in like the
playoffs recently, it just goes to show.

Speaker 6 (05:18):
You though they won one game.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Yeah, they lost yesterday though, So yeah, what a horrible
year for the Bruins. What are they gonna do? Well,
they'll get the number one pick maybe, I guess No,
they're not. Someone's worse than them, could possibly be worse
than the Bruins.

Speaker 6 (05:37):
Well, we have the Red Sox and the Celtics. I mean, unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
That's the thing about us.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
If one, if we have some team sucking, we always
have one that's like going to the championship game. Yeah,
like we are we're like the last twenty years, someone's
gonna be in the playoffs.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Oh, producer Riley works for the Boston Bruins. You can't
possibly be going back.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
She's a die hard fan. That's when they need you
the most.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
Yeah, of course the money's still green, right, Like it's.

Speaker 6 (06:09):
Kind of embarrassing because of her job. She's you know,
she's part of the marketing team, you know, so she
has to be happy and yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Yeah, she's the equivalent of our street team.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Yeah, the Boston he needs to be peppy and supportive.

Speaker 6 (06:23):
Winning or losing.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
But then there's a Vegekin. Oh man, oh yeah, how
old is he? You know, it's one of those guys
that looks older than he is.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Probably in his mid fifties.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
I'm going to look it up. I think thirty ninety.
Oh I'm right, yeah, yeah, oh man, is he good?

Speaker 6 (06:41):
Yeah? And he did it in the same amount of
games as Wayne Gretzky.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Yeah, and he beat he set the record against the Islanders,
and so did Gretzky. Yeah, but I love the movie, Like,
he could have scored, he could have broken the record
the previous game, but it was an empty net situation.
So he told the coach. He wanted to stay on
the bench. He didn't want to beat Gretzky with an
open net, going, Wow, that's that's class.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Look at this hockey class and confidence.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Yeah, well this is Sportstown US.

Speaker 8 (07:11):
I didn't know we got the Boston brows man on
this guy and got the missing oh yeah, teeth.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
That's old school hockey. The hockey players like, doesn't Pasternak
miss is missing a couple of teeth.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
You're not missing teeth and hockey you're not playing, thank you.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Okay, we've got entertainment coming up. The announced more of
the Coachella Festival. I guess said, sure, it's going to
be dropping by Boy, he's everywhere. We've got that. We'll
talk a little about the White Lotus, but we will
not reveal the end in the finale last night. We
got a lot to talk about though. Entertainment is next.

Speaker 9 (07:48):
Hanging from the Planet Fitness, Kiss one Away Studios.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
We're back with the Villy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Good morning everybody, justin this is one of those Monday mornings.
I feel like a lot of people have a lot
to talk about, like talkbackers.

Speaker 6 (08:03):
Absolutely, and we'd love that people. You know, listen to
our show when they're here and also when they go away.
When they travel, you know, you can take us with
you on the iHeart app, which is a cool thing.
So you never missed the Billy and Lisa Show.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
Good morning morning crew. Listen to Lisa here calling to you.
Know that I'm leaving but Jamaica tomorrow morning. So I'm
hoping I don't have airline news, but if I do,
I'll give you a call. I'm also excited that I'll
be able to listen to you guys, because you are
number one on my preset on the IHAT radio app.

(08:35):
Have a great week everyone.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
Oh yeah, she's gonna have a good week.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
She's a great listener.

Speaker 6 (08:40):
Yeah, thank you. Have fun in Jamaica. Come off out
a radial.

Speaker 7 (08:44):
Wow, the entertainment Update with a Billy pops up.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Oh man, Okay, so the White Load is the finale.
Last night, we were all up late and we were
going to break it down early this morning. We decided
to give our listeners a break. Will break it down
seven fifteen this morning. But spoiler alert, we're going to
tell everything who got killed and who did the killing?

(09:09):
Coming up at seven fifteen meantime, actress sir Amy lu Wood,
who plays Chelsea in The White Lotus. We're not Seth
Meyers the other night and talked about the day she
got the call with the job off.

Speaker 10 (09:21):
It was both exhilarating and terrifying. I was so scared
because the reality sunk in that, Oh my god, I'm
actually going to be in this And it's such an
ensemble piece, isn't it Like it's Oh, it's about the group,
and you just don't want to be the one that
lets the group down.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Yeah, the pressure.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
Yeah, she's the one with the severe bucktith.

Speaker 8 (09:43):
Yeah she's kind of cute though, oh yeah, to be honest, Yeah,
and very cool.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
I like her character.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Here's a sweetness to her, definitely, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
And she's so positive. How about this? It turns out
what he Harrelson was supposed to get the role that
Sam Rockwell got in The White Lotus and I love
he can be as crazy as crazy against Apparently they
couldn't make the schedules work.

Speaker 5 (10:11):
Well, do you remember he played justin Timberlake's gay best
friend from work and was it no string? I mean
friends of benefits and he was so funny. Wow, he
plays a good gay guy.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
And also speaking of White Lotus, actor Walter Goggins, who
plays Rick Uh has a severely receding forehead hairline, and
apparently now there's a survey saying that receding hairlines are
sexy because of Walter Goggins. Women are into it now.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Okay, big forehead, look.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
A giant like runway forehead.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
We're into giant teeth and big foreheads.

Speaker 6 (10:48):
Yeah, all from this show. It's interesting because so many
guys are you know, their hair is a big deal
hair transplants Roguin. But now and.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
It's weird with Goggins. I mean, he's got the receding hair,
but he has a beautiful head of it.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
He does. That's the weird thing about it.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Yeah yeah, Okay, Like I said, we're breaking it down,
and we will break it down at seven fifteen. Anyway.
More of the Coachella lineup announced over the weekend. Turns
out Ed Sharon is going to make a guest appearance
at Coachella. The show is set for April eleven through
the thirteenth. Already in the lineup, Lady Gagat, Travis Godpost, Malone,
Charlie XCX, and boy Ed Sharon is everywhere lately, I

(11:27):
mean everywhere. And how about eminem he's a grandfather.

Speaker 6 (11:31):
Yeah, wow, feel old?

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Yeah slightly wow.

Speaker 11 (11:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
His daughter Hayley had a baby boy the name Elliot
Marshall McClintock.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
It's a good name.

Speaker 6 (11:41):
I like it.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
It's a good name.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
Yeah. And a Minecraft movie crushed the box office over
the weekend, taking in way more than was expected. So
we were hoping for this. People are going to the
movies again. More than two hundred million into set for
a Minecraft or just under two hundred.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Million mark the movie. NERD called that he did say that, Yeah,
texted me he goes see I told you our in.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
House movie NERD mark the movie Nerd exclusive to us.
There is some controversy with the movie. Apparently, audience members
in the theaters have been chanting lines with the characters
and whooping loudly. Can I get a whoop yesterday?

Speaker 6 (12:24):
People are split on this because it's disruptive to the movie,
but then other people say, you know, they're just being
a part of the movie.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And Mariah Carey had a mom moment
over the weekend. Her son Moroccan is that with a
Nick Cannon?

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Yes, she has twins. That just with him, that's all
she has.

Speaker 12 (12:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
He was at the house streaming online playing a video
game when Mariah accidentally walked on camera.

Speaker 8 (12:47):
Sister, I know, I just want to get Mario.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Okay, y'all need to get out now.

Speaker 6 (12:52):
Just everybody get out, mom, Like.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
You see you're saying, Hi, Mariah, I love you.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Carry.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
It's so cute.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
I love this carry.

Speaker 6 (13:05):
Yeah. When I walk in my son's room when he's
on the video games with his friends, he gets so embarrassed.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Yeah. Yeah, and you're not, Mariah Karen, I'm not right.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
So how about this. You know, our buddy Ryan Seacrest
is now the new host of Wheel of Fortune, while
he's not that new anymore, while he's bringing his world's
iHeart and Wheel of Fortune together starting today and lasting
through Friday. Imagine iHeart and Wheel of Fortune merging. That's
what the set is going to look like. And they've
got all kinds of prizes, including vacations to some of

(13:35):
Iheart's popular events like the iHeart Radio Music Festival, the
iHeart Country Music Festival, the iHeart Radio jingle Ball Tour,
and the twenty twenty six iHeart Music Awards. And on Friday,
They're going to have a musical guests actually play the
game alongside the top three contestants.

Speaker 6 (13:55):
Front.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
I like that integration, right, Yeah, it's.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
Kind of teasing it, haven't they several months ago? I
think they had some iHeart prizes up on the border
or something. But viewers at home also have a chance
to win prizes all this week. Anything from Elvis Kuran
in the morning show, experience in New York City. Uh,
you can go on with the Mario Lopez in Los Angeles,
trip to the iHeartRadio Theater show in LA a trip

(14:23):
to Nashville's July fourth celebration. All these prizes going to
be up for grabs. I didn't see us in that.
We you know what they're you know, the were the
added Uh no, no, they're the with the most valuable
thing in the company. They don't want to just give
us away. Yeah, Okay, so that's at least that's the
way I'm reading It makes me feel better. Crazy Sports Weekend.

(14:48):
The Yukon women beat South Carolina. I watched that game.
It's a blowout, but they are the national champions, and
there's the buzzer. Doesn't Fortino Oriana in Connecticut.

Speaker 8 (15:03):
The final page in the Book.

Speaker 6 (15:05):
Of Beckers is tunnel number two for you?

Speaker 12 (15:09):
God?

Speaker 3 (15:10):
Yeah, coach Gino got all emotional.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
South Carolina didn't have a chance.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Oh no, that was a blow. Yeah. The men's finalist. Tonight,
Florida takes on Houston. Houston beat Duke big upset and
Dave Portnoy bet on Duke and lost. Was it two
hundred thousand bucks on the bet?

Speaker 5 (15:28):
And he lost seven million in the star market, He said,
yeahs a weekend of.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Riff turmoil.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Dave's usually on the other side, He's always winning.

Speaker 5 (15:39):
It is surprising, you know, if you have seven million
to lose it, don't feel bad for him.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Yes, speaking of winning, how about those Boston Red Sox.
They won both games of the doubleheader yesterday. They won
the first game five four. They get a walk off
in that, yep. And the second game they won. They
beat the Cardinals eighteen to seven. Devers got his first
home run of the season. Bregman got his first home
run of the season.

Speaker 6 (16:00):
Tell you they're looking good. I know it's very early. Yeah,
looking pretty good, so soct you're on fire.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
Celtz beat the Wizards one twenty four ninety one, and
then you have Ovechkin. He broke the record this weekend,
his eight hundred and ninety fifth goal, breaking the Gretzky record.
We've got the call, and then Wilson on the flank
cross eight, so let's get fires.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
It's gone. The basic days are done.

Speaker 8 (16:28):
Alex Solvetchkin is the greatest gold scorer in the history
of the UNHL.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
Yeah, he's the goat. He did the belly slide. Yeah,
that's cent horized. That was so cool. Anyway, here's Ovechkin
after the game. I'm probably gonna.

Speaker 13 (16:41):
Need a couple more days, so it maybe a couple
of weeks to realize what does it mean to be
number one?

Speaker 3 (16:48):
But well, I can say I'm very proud, and Gretzky
was there with the family.

Speaker 13 (16:53):
When I broke the record. My two kids were both
the age of his boys, so it's kind of reminiscent
for me, and I'm oh happy that two of my
boys are here tonight. But there's nothing better than their
national Hockey League. They say records are made to be broken,
but I'm not sure who's going to get more goals
than that.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
The great one that was so cool. They just referred
to him as the Great One. Yep. And now, well,
Vetkin's got the rest a lot of goals, eight hundred
and ninety five goals. Anyway, that was exciting to watch.
So listen. We're brought to you by the ninety nine Restaurant.
Visit the ninety nine restaurant the day after the Socks win. Hey,
that's today. You got to go to the ninety nine

(17:36):
and get a free kids meal with every adult entrey
purchase the ninety nine restaurant, the official family restaurant of
your Boston Red Sox, and there you go.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Woo from the Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios. We
we're back with a Villy and Lisa in the morning
on Kiss one.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
Okay, welcome back, everybody, Happy Monday and again and we're
a little sluggish this morning. We're all up watching the
White Lot atus. I think we're glad we did.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Right, I am, And I like the fact that we
all stuck to our commitment to watching it. But I
have to say I was a little annoyed.

Speaker 5 (18:15):
If I knew what I knew now over the weekend,
I wouldn't watch it today.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
Me too, Yeah, I wouldn't say.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
Okay, so we're going to break it down in a
few minutes at seven fifteen, we'll tell you who was killed,
who the killers werel it were and why. But in
the meantime, our artist of the day today is and
will be Tate McCray. Tate McCrae is the artist of
the day. You've got to hear two Tate McCray songs
in a row. When you do, you be college twenty five.
It's that easy. You get the big prize leaves.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
You get five days, four nights at Universal Orlando for
four people. Plus we're going to give you three day
park passes. This is an entire vacation for the family
or for four friends, so you don't have to pick
who you want to brain. You can bring everybody and
the park passes aloneer like cold they are.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
Yeah, we're flying you there for starters, right, that's kind
of why we call it the Fire.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
Yes, makes sense.

Speaker 6 (19:05):
Yeah, it's in conjunction with conjunction with the opening of
the Epic Universe, which is next next month it opens.
You're gonna have all new attractions, super Mario World, Harry Potter,
five new attractions.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
But at some point we're all going to have to
talk about after we break down the finale of The
White Lotus. We're gonna have to talk about what we're
going to be watching next. I kind of started a
show it's more Michelle than me, but.

Speaker 6 (19:30):
We'll do that later on at eight ten, we'll do that.
We'll get by the White Lotus finale. But anyway, Happy Monday, everybody,
Good morning.

Speaker 11 (19:36):
Today is my birthday and one of my birthday.

Speaker 14 (19:39):
Cares was to my car and it's knowing how excited
am I.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
Have a great day.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
Yeah, it's a wintry mix in some spots this morning.
Not here, No, not here northwest? Yeah, like yeah, out
near the Worcester Hills.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
Isn't that funny every time it's bad weather they point out, Yeah,
especially north and west of this. I live there. I
would know.

Speaker 6 (20:02):
I know anytime there's a snow in nor Easter, I
know that I'm getting here.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Oh yeah, you're probably getting snow up there right now.

Speaker 6 (20:08):
Probably I should check my ring camera. Oh see what's
going up there? In Salem, New Hampshire.

Speaker 15 (20:12):
Good morning, morning team.

Speaker 11 (20:14):
Not that I'm a stalker, but justin were you.

Speaker 7 (20:17):
At one of the market baskets in Salem yesterday around
ten thirty? Because if you were there was.

Speaker 15 (20:24):
Definitely a full grown, twenty six year old woman's fan
growing in the deli.

Speaker 11 (20:29):
You weren't in the deli, you were in the aisle,
and I could not work up the courage to go
say hi.

Speaker 12 (20:34):
If you weren't there, then it's super embarrassing.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
Have a good day.

Speaker 6 (20:38):
Well, yes, I was every Sunday. I'm at the basket,
you know, because basket to the casket.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Yeah, do you load up?

Speaker 1 (20:46):
Do you guys have family or do you just like go.

Speaker 6 (20:47):
By I go by myself. Okay, I eat separately than
in my family. You know, I a certain male plan.
But yeah, I go every Sunday. And I don't know
why you don't say hi. I don't bite. Come on,
let's say hi.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Yeah, say hi.

Speaker 6 (21:00):
Yeah. I love going to the supermarket. I don't mind it.
I actually I actually don't mind it. It's time by myself,
I think. And you know, yeah, yeah, they just kind
of wander up and down. I get a couple of
those and yeah, yeah, and a hot tip. You can
never go to the supermarket hungry.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
No, you buy a lot of snacks that you don't need.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Isn't there pizza?

Speaker 6 (21:23):
Really good pizza is fantastic. Yeah, it's it's really good.
They have a lot of because you know the market
baskets that have I think most of them do. Now
they have the kitchen, yeah, sushi, Yeah, they have good everything. Okay,
it's really good. But yeah, make sure you say hi. Yeah.
Crazy thing happened this weekend with my daughter. Yes, oh
really really scary in Salem. We were at a trampoline

(21:45):
park and my dad was carrying her over. She had
hit her head on one of the slides trampoline parks. Yeah,
she was okay. So she was crying for dad, and
so my dad was walking over with her and he
was up on a platform step and he stuff right
in front of me, like five feet in front of me.
As she's walking crying for me, he trips on accident,

(22:06):
falls face first, holding her. They both smashed their face
right in my feet. It was the So Jemma perfectly fine.
Scared obviously my dad busted his face bleeding, really his knee,
his neck, his neck, in his back.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
So what did they do at the trampoline park? Did
they have ice Flah?

Speaker 6 (22:23):
Yeah, they came over. They were great. They brought over
some ice acid. We need the colon ambulance.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
Your father broke his nose a trampoline park. Yeah, blood everything.
I don't know if it's broken, but it's busted. It
was really scared. It was just a freak accident.

Speaker 5 (22:37):
Well that doesn't surprise me because it's not all the
surfaces there. You're either on a trampoline, you're on like
a cushion. They don't have anything really hard.

Speaker 6 (22:45):
For that reason is they had turned the lights off.
Why because they turned the lights off and they put
the strobe lights.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (22:53):
So the kids love it. They're jumping and dancing. The
Easter bunny was there.

Speaker 3 (22:57):
Your dad's too elderly for that.

Speaker 6 (22:59):
Well, he's good. My dad's in good shape, I know.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
But once you hit a certain age, one fall and
you're no longer a good shape.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
Easter Bunny is already outs coming out.

Speaker 6 (23:08):
Keep an eye out, kids coming up actually in thirteen days,
two weeks from from yesterday.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
If you're an Easter bunny, this is your time to
shine this ye.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
At your house? Do you feed the Easter bunny?

Speaker 6 (23:19):
Yes, yeah, we.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
Used to leave food.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
We do, Yeah, yeah, we do.

Speaker 6 (23:23):
We take them. We take the kids to see the
Easter bunny. My house is I get the chickens have
doubled in size.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
We still do an Easter egg hunt, even for like
the adult kids.

Speaker 6 (23:32):
Yeah, we do too.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
We just put money in the eggs now and stuff
like that.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
Oh yeah, oh the Easter egg hunt.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
It gets was really aggressive.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
You know. My nephew Buddy would come over with oh man,
they were killing each other because they knew there was
money in the plastic game.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
And someone always ends up crying. Always.

Speaker 6 (23:50):
Always.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
My sons wouldn't speak for like a week over winning
or rosing.

Speaker 6 (23:54):
Yeah, who has more eggs? And know when they're young,
it's like you know, candy, maybe some change, maybe some
ones as to get a little bit older. Oh yeah,
you got to put a little bit more Oh yeah
in the eggs.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Yeah you knows.

Speaker 6 (24:05):
Maybe.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (24:06):
The expectation is high if you've got the eggs when
he's coming over, more than.

Speaker 7 (24:14):
I know what.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
You have to make sure you find all the egg yeah, yeap.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Oh yeah, yeah, don't leave any out there, especially when
there's cash money.

Speaker 12 (24:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (24:22):
Whennie, you're not coming to my house again, you're listen
for Ta mc cray songs back to back when that
tripped at Universal Orlando and the White Lotus finale, we
break it down two songs.

Speaker 15 (24:33):
Went Billy and Lisa kiss.

Speaker 7 (24:44):
Ah.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
That of course is the White Lotus theme song.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
I love that theme song.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
Okay, we're all tired, we're all kind of aggravated for
some reason about The White Lotus. But the finale was
last night. We stayed up late that you have to understand,
that's very late for all of us.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
Yeah, it was ninety minutes at.

Speaker 3 (25:00):
Nine o'clock, and then you can't fall asleep right away,
right because you're watching The White Lotus. You're all worked
up about the outcome. But now spoiler alert, we tell all.

Speaker 6 (25:11):
All right, so we had bets let's start with that.

Speaker 2 (25:13):
Yeah, so let's start with that.

Speaker 6 (25:15):
Yeah, so Billy, So we had a bets on who
was gonna die? Essentially, ye, Billy had Saxon, Lisa had
Piper or Lachlan, I had Chelsea, and Whinnie had Belinda
or Gary.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Well, we kind of all came close. They all did,
because you know when they had the no, Saxon would
have had the shake right right right right, you're thinking,
oh my god, they're all gonna go.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
But justin you actually won the bet because Chelsea did
end up getting shot last night.

Speaker 6 (25:42):
Yep, she got caught in the crossfire.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
Right, which is what we had talked about. But there's
a little controversy.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Okay, so what's the car.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
So in my prediction, I said Lachlan. So Lachlan technically
did die because in the show last night he said
I saw God.

Speaker 6 (26:00):
Yeah, you're right. You actually are right about that. If
he had just gone out and then got saved by
his dad. But the fact that they wrote that in
was telling us that he had died. It came back
that line was put there for a purpose. So I
do see your point.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
Yeah, I did.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
Pay the bet, though I gave you my five dollars.

Speaker 6 (26:16):
I can give it back.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
No, No, I want you to have it because you
were one hundred percent right.

Speaker 6 (26:22):
But she gave it with protests. That was a twist.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Yeah, it was a twist, And I honestly I have
to say, I wish they would have let him die.
I know that doesn't sound I wish for me that
would have been better. It would have been that tragedy,
you know what I mean. And that family. I just
I thought that I was disappointed. I thought it was
extremely predictable.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
But when the dad made the shakes with the poison fruit, right,
he wanted everybody except his youngest child, Lachlan to drink
the shakes. Once you saw them leave the container on
the counter. He threw away the four drinks once he
chickened out and didn't want to kill his family. But
when they left it and they kept showing it, the

(27:06):
camera kept going to the mixer container on the counter,
and you knew the poison was still in it.

Speaker 5 (27:13):
Okay, My issue is how poisonous is this thing? They
call it the suicide fruit. But no one died. I
mean they did because they sipped it, did they not?

Speaker 1 (27:19):
Did they miss something? I swear I saw them.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
They gulped it.

Speaker 5 (27:21):
They sipped it right, and then Lachlan had the whole
drink and then didn't die.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
So it's really not well, well, he.

Speaker 5 (27:27):
Came back to life, but it wasn't like this, you know,
like Cy and I that you're like, once you touch it,
you're dead.

Speaker 6 (27:33):
Yeah, the poison fruit, baby.

Speaker 15 (27:35):
I thought the poison fruit plotline was so good. I
was on the edge of my seat the entire time
when the dad was like opening it up and put
it the the season the blender and then left it
under the counter, And then I thought he was gonna
make a peanut colatum for himself, and then he makes
pina colatus for his whole family with I was like,

(27:56):
oh my god. And then when Lachlan in the morning
dumped the routine powder into the blender with the sheets
still in it, I.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
Was like, oh, yeah, that's why I really wanted somebody
to end up really dying.

Speaker 6 (28:08):
Tragedy in that family would have made more sense. Yes,
I do believe that. But all right, let's move on
to the other storylines here.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Okay, So Chelsea got it.

Speaker 6 (28:18):
Yeah, Chelsea went to the she got caught, which you
saw that coming.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
We did. That's why it was a little predictable.

Speaker 6 (28:24):
It was predictable. That definitely was so Shakespearean. Yes, and
Mike White said that I don't.

Speaker 5 (28:30):
Care, Like, okay, you know what, because you're fifty and
you can't get over your childhood trauma.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Now I have to die.

Speaker 6 (28:35):
Like, let's not make this a negative.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
I'm just saying it was.

Speaker 6 (28:38):
It wasn't that bad. I understand. It wasn't like the
maybe live to the hype that you thought, but it
wasn't terrible.

Speaker 3 (28:43):
I thought it was great. I liked it, although when
I saw her following him over the walking bridge. I said, oh, yeah,
just something's gonna happening.

Speaker 16 (28:51):
Good morning morning crew, Cape cut Carol checking And after
watching White Lotus, Lisa, you were a spot on about
the innocent.

Speaker 4 (29:00):
My heart was feeling it was going to be Chelsea
sadly was.

Speaker 16 (29:03):
Didn't see the curveball about the creepy owner and his
relationship to Rick. Wow, all right, love you guys, Thank
you so much, and here's to the next White Lotus.

Speaker 6 (29:15):
Yeah. So when he actually predicted that that he got
a real father father, yeah, yeah, they look alone.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
That was a shock when they said that, Oh, my god,
was his father.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
He's your father? Well, why didn't he tell me that?

Speaker 7 (29:29):
Right?

Speaker 1 (29:29):
She's like, why did you kill him? And he's like,
has he killed my dad?

Speaker 2 (29:31):
He is your dad?

Speaker 1 (29:32):
Okay, well he could have let me know, Skywalker.

Speaker 3 (29:38):
And then they had the two of them floating in
the pond, like you know, one was face down, one
was face out.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
Were you guys surprised that Bolina got five million dollars
and that she chose the money over the love.

Speaker 6 (29:48):
That was the message there is that money, money goes
over everything. She had all these morals last episode, but
then five million.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
It was surprising and.

Speaker 6 (29:57):
That poor guy, the poor guy. She was gonna open
the spot.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
Her but can't.

Speaker 5 (30:00):
We talked about how she became Tanya because Tanya did
that to her season one.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
She said, She's like, oh, we won't do the spot.
Oh I'll let you know. She did the exact same
thing to her poor lover man who.

Speaker 5 (30:10):
Was in love with her and he was the sweetest
soul and she.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
Had no problem doing it either.

Speaker 14 (30:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (30:15):
Yeah. And then there's my favorite Gary who once again
escapes unscathed. Right now five million he lost, but he's
worth how much? Five hundred million? Yeah, and then that
creepy scene at the end where he's watching the girl.
He's a cuckle here, he's raising his glass. He got
what he wanted.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
His girlfriend said earlier in the show, she said, Oh,
I'll always find somebody else.

Speaker 6 (30:39):
Yes, with me in front of my Is he going
to come back to the next season? I hope. I
love his cat.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
Why let him go at this point? By the way,
I want to keep that house. Then the next season,
but it's not going.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
To be in timely Well I read something that the
next season might not be on the ocean.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
Oh really, in the city.

Speaker 2 (30:57):
So they're saying and they might not do that sort
of of same thing again.

Speaker 5 (31:01):
Okay, And lastly, can we talk about how those three
friends were like I didn't need them?

Speaker 3 (31:05):
Why were they?

Speaker 11 (31:07):
No?

Speaker 2 (31:07):
But again, like that was one storyline that didn't really
have closure.

Speaker 6 (31:12):
Yeah, it didn't have any closure. They didn't because they
could have got caught in the crossfire there at the end.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Right.

Speaker 3 (31:17):
Well, I love how the one woman when the three
of them were sitting together at the end of the
last night and they were telling stories about the trip
and about their life and everything. And she had a
great speech in that scene about how she gets positivity
from the friendship with them, and there was a little corny,
but I thought it was well written.

Speaker 6 (31:33):
Yeah, it was definitely you know Shakespeare vibe. Yeah, so
the finale, I may have.

Speaker 3 (31:38):
Cried about what it was a good speech she made friendship.

Speaker 14 (31:43):
Oh.

Speaker 7 (31:44):
God?

Speaker 3 (31:45):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (31:47):
And then Rick's friend went back to the Buddhas and
Buddhist temple.

Speaker 1 (31:49):
He did after his little.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
He needed that. Yeah, he was out of control.

Speaker 3 (31:54):
Yeah. And his friend was supposed to be played by
Woody Harrelson. Yeah, I know, Yeah, Sam Rockwell got the Sam.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
I thought he was perfect for that role.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
And all during it, you know, the real dad, the
owner of the resort. Uh. The entire season, I kept
thinking it was actor uh oh, got Shepherd something Sam Shepherd,
and then I found out, Oh no, it's Scott Glenn.

Speaker 5 (32:18):
And like lastly, guy talk wow, look at him becoming
the guard to the lady after he killed what's his
name Rick?

Speaker 3 (32:26):
Well, I think you'll see him in the next season.

Speaker 6 (32:28):
Yeah, well, he didn't. He didn't want to do it.
He didn't make the decision earlier in the episode to
kind of, you know, to hurt those guys, the robbers,
but then at the end he did to get and
then all.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
The robbers are fine, the bodyguards are dead.

Speaker 1 (32:39):
Yeah. I wanted more JAF.

Speaker 2 (32:41):
I wanted I know it sounds horrible. I wanted Lachlan
to die.

Speaker 6 (32:46):
Yeah, I know what you're saying. It made sense for
the family because there was so much tragedy in that family.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
Yes, yeah, I hate to say this, but I wanted
the family to die.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
Yeah, someone in the family.

Speaker 3 (32:59):
It would have been so big, like, whoa, they're all dead.

Speaker 5 (33:03):
We didn't get them, like knowing that he lost all
their money, We don't even like they didn't get that
reaction from him.

Speaker 1 (33:09):
We got nothing.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Nothing, That's what I'm saying. I was slightly disappointed.

Speaker 3 (33:12):
Yeah, that was left wide open.

Speaker 6 (33:14):
I'm like, well he did that on purpose.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
I thought at the end on the boat his phone
was gonna ring and he was going to find out
he was in the clear.

Speaker 6 (33:21):
No, but it didn't happens that. This is a good
discussion though, because finales everybody happy and there's a lot
of controversy and a lot of you know, people are
not they like him when they don't like him. Yeah,
So that's our topic time for today. If you want
to join the show talk about you can talk about
the White Lotus finale, but also what series finale or
season finale did you like or not? Like that's gonna

(33:42):
be our topic time for today six one, seven, nine
three or hit me up on the talk back on
the iHeart app. Justaf that red microphone. Topic time is next.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
Now it's topic time for the Billy and Lisa in
the morning.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
Okay, we are all in on the White Lotus. So
we just gave up everything that happened last night in
the finale, who was killed, who did the killing? And
it got us to talking about, you know, finales, whether
it's a series or a show or a movie, and
which ones were good, which ones were awful. Let's go
right to the phones, and we're gonna start with you,
Steven in Beverly. Good morning, Good morning, guys.

Speaker 17 (34:18):
I'm a big fan of so.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
Oh thanks Steven. So what have you got good or bad?

Speaker 17 (34:23):
I'm gonna have to go with bad? On the season
finale of The Sopranos.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
Yeah, and that was my first one.

Speaker 17 (34:30):
Yeah, I don't know, it just didn't feel like right.
I mean it's all like we had this big build up,
like we got to know all the characters and whatnot,
and then it kind of just not to spoil it.
Am I allowed to spoil it?

Speaker 12 (34:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (34:41):
Well it's been Yeah, it's enough time.

Speaker 17 (34:44):
Yeah, yeah, right, you're right, you're right now, You're right.
It just cut to black and.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
Then it was like, I don't know, don't stop believing
was playing?

Speaker 17 (34:51):
Yeah yeah, yeah, I didn't really.

Speaker 6 (34:53):
Get like what was going on.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
Well, people either loved it or hate it.

Speaker 6 (34:56):
Yes, yeah, I liked it. I liked it. It's my
favorite show of all time. And I I just think
that he wrote it like that, David Chase, because Tony
was so beloved. Yeah, and no one they knew he
had to die, but they didn't want to see him.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
Die, and it was the core family there with him
at the table. Yeah, and I liked it.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
I thought it made sense, and I think David Chase
knew it was a big gamble to do it that way.

Speaker 6 (35:14):
Yeah, Stephen, do you think that he died at the end.

Speaker 12 (35:16):
Of Now, I don't know.

Speaker 17 (35:19):
I mean I think that, I don't know. I mean,
I just recently watched it. I'm only eighteen, but my
mom was a big fan of the show back in
the day. But I mean, I guess I think maybe
some guy came in and he just I don't know,
he got shot or something. I think that was like
one of the series on it.

Speaker 6 (35:38):
I love that he's eighteen and watching generationally very cool.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
I love that he's an eighteen year old boy listening
to us every morning.

Speaker 7 (35:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
By the way, my son Alex's favorite show of all time,
The Sopranos the best.

Speaker 6 (35:49):
And by the way, I want to add too, if
you read into the show earlier in the season, he
says to another guy in the show, the guy asked Tony,
what happens when you die? What do you think? And
he said nothing? It goes black.

Speaker 3 (36:04):
Let's go to Nancy in Instwidge, Nancy, what have we
got for us?

Speaker 7 (36:08):
Sure?

Speaker 12 (36:09):
I was so upset over the season ending for The Blacklist.
I don't know if you guys remember The Blacklist, but
we wanted to know who Raymond Reddington was and what
was his relationship to Elizabeth Keene.

Speaker 3 (36:22):
Yeah, I didn't see that.

Speaker 12 (36:23):
We never found you didn't see it, see But anyway,
that's so we invested so much into this trying to
figure out who he was, and in the end we
never really knew his relationship and and it just ended
with him being in stained and being killed by a bull.
That's how it ended.

Speaker 3 (36:40):
It was such a sounds today, I take that any day,
good night.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
It's definitely the best season CALLI. It was so on point.

Speaker 7 (36:54):
He went out to Cali, he got his ideas, he
made the co commercials, and he went right back to
me and involved and killing it in the ad industry.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
It was perfection.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
Worst lost? Are you hitting me? What a cargo?

Speaker 6 (37:09):
Lost?

Speaker 3 (37:09):
Was very very controversy hoop out. Yeah, a lot of
people hated the ending.

Speaker 6 (37:13):
Well, you know what happens with these shows is they
start them without knowing how it's going to end, and
then they carry over seas and it becomes a hit
and they continue on and then by the end they
don't know how to wrap it up.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
I have to say that Ozark, which is more recent,
I thought it was an amazing finale, like amazing, I.

Speaker 6 (37:30):
Think so too.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
And Tears.

Speaker 6 (37:33):
It's hard to wrap these shows up, you know.

Speaker 2 (37:36):
Yeah, definitely, Good morning, It's Lucy.

Speaker 9 (37:38):
The season finale that I just watched that was totally
disappointing was Yellow Jackets. They haven't announced a season five,
so they really haven't wrapped up anything, and it just
really pissed me off.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
They need to do better. Have a great week, everybody.

Speaker 3 (37:56):
It's amazing. She just mentioned Yellow Jackets when we were
just talking about Lost. Immediately I started thinking of Yellow Jackets, thinking, God, yeah,
I'm trying to remember how that ended, but I know
I didn't like the way it ends.

Speaker 2 (38:06):
I watched the first season in Bat and the Night.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
Yeah, great show.

Speaker 6 (38:08):
I didn't watch. Is that what the plane Craft? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
great show.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
Yes, Yeah, it's good.

Speaker 6 (38:15):
It's good.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
Way Yeah, I think get like.

Speaker 7 (38:17):
Season finale that did me in was the episode of
Er where Mark Green died. I was thirteenth At the time,
I it was the first time I ever remember being
affected by a TV show. I remember sobbing, like full
blown sobbing because he died. I still can't hear Somewhere
over the Rainbow without crying and thinking about it. And

(38:39):
now I'm in my thirties, but that episode do I
still think about it all the time.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
All Right, we're getting some good ones medical drama desk.

Speaker 5 (38:48):
When McDreamy died, Oh my god, Patrick Dempsey, I cried like.

Speaker 3 (38:53):
A baby already died.

Speaker 5 (38:55):
He was kind of ran over by a truck. And
then it was like malpracticed, like they didn't do the yeah,
like then they brought him in and some intern like
didn't do what she was supposed to do, Like he
could have been saved, but she didn't do the right things.
But he would no matter how to pull the plug.
And then when she pulled the plug, I do oh

(39:16):
dream it was McDreamy. Mixedemy died too after a plane crash.

Speaker 2 (39:19):
Did you guys like the Succession season finale?

Speaker 6 (39:22):
I did?

Speaker 3 (39:22):
I really did it?

Speaker 2 (39:25):
Kendall wandering around just endlessly.

Speaker 3 (39:29):
Let's go to Shay and Maldon. Shaye good or bad?
Give us a finale, all right.

Speaker 7 (39:35):
My lead's favorite finale in the entire world is Dexter.

Speaker 6 (39:40):
Oh I never saw that show. Oh that's a good watch.
You should watch it. It did come back, though. Did
you watch the reboot there?

Speaker 12 (39:49):
I've watched it all. But the first seven seasons were amazing.

Speaker 5 (39:53):
The eighth season was.

Speaker 12 (39:54):
Terrible of the original run, and then the finale was
just the wors thing they could have ever done to
the fans. It was absolutely horrible.

Speaker 6 (40:04):
Yeah, I remember it barely, but I did love the show.
By the way, Billy, how did you not watch it?
It's literally what you like, man or something or a
serial a serial killer who works for the police. He
does the blood work and he catching kills bad guys.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
Never too late, you know. I was big in the
Yellowstone Okay. But then there was the movie Horizon that
Kevin Costner did. It was a little controversy around it.
I watched Horizon. I really enjoyed the movie. When I
tell you, it ended in the middle of everything going on,
like just oh and open. I'm like, what just happened?
It's over? And I don't think they ever released the

(40:43):
Horizon second movie, So I thought that was weird.

Speaker 6 (40:46):
He lost a lot of money on that.

Speaker 3 (40:49):
Fortune.

Speaker 6 (40:51):
Yeah, my.

Speaker 3 (40:53):
Lost wife.

Speaker 6 (40:54):
Yeah. My favorite finale is an HBO show and if
you've watched it, it's called Six Feet Under.

Speaker 3 (41:00):
Anybody, Oh, I love that show.

Speaker 6 (41:01):
My god, it's the best ending of all time.

Speaker 14 (41:04):
You guys thinking about the best or worst season finales.
I thought the season finale four or the series finale
for Six Feet Under was one of the best I've
ever seen. If you didn't see the show, it was
about like a funeral home, and they wrapped up the
series by showing how each character dies. So they sort
of fast forward and show them in the future and
show how they die, which I just thought was a

(41:25):
really cool ending and sort of wrapped everything up for everybody.

Speaker 6 (41:28):
Thanks by Yeah, the montage of the ending is very
I mean I remember crying watching it because it shows
them age for many years until they died. They died.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
Amazing concept.

Speaker 3 (41:40):
Yeah, it was a great show. Sixty I would watch
that again.

Speaker 6 (41:43):
You should see you're rewatching shows when there's shows that
you haven't watched.

Speaker 3 (41:47):
Michelle, my wife yells at me all the time, and
I'm always rewatching things watched sixteen candles. Wait a minute,
you weren't supposed to say anything. It can't be my
friend now, Mollie Ring the classic American film but Bills.

Speaker 5 (42:03):
This is you going back. You're like trying to go
back to comfort places like shows you love, movies you love.

Speaker 1 (42:08):
Something's going wrong with you deeper. There's something deeper going
on than that. You only are re watching things that
you know how it's gonna end.

Speaker 3 (42:14):
When I tell you, I think I've seen Saving Private
Ryan fifteen times.

Speaker 6 (42:18):
It's your comfort movie.

Speaker 8 (42:19):
It is yeah, to take you back music Molly kind
of a homely kid.

Speaker 3 (42:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (42:30):
If it makes you feel good, it makes you feel good.

Speaker 3 (42:32):
All right, We'll have.

Speaker 6 (42:35):
A lot of people chiming in. Keep the talkbacks coming, brilliant.

Speaker 2 (42:38):
Lisa kissed one.

Speaker 3 (42:40):
I don't forget. Tate McCrae is the artist of the day.
You're listening for two Tate McCrae songs back to back.
You'd be calling twenty five and you get the trip
to Universal Orlando.

Speaker 6 (42:49):
That's right, we are giving away a trip to Universal Orlando.

Speaker 2 (42:52):
Are you guys giving away Universal tickets or Disney tickets?

Speaker 1 (42:55):
Because yesterday all day they were saying listen for Disney tickets,
and that got me excited.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
Saying, listen for Disney tickets.

Speaker 6 (43:01):
I think it's universal. Sometimes people get a mixed up.
It's universal, Orlando. Yes, we gave you the hours of
the day at seven ten, you're listening for back to
back artists from songs from Tate McCrae.

Speaker 2 (43:10):
Yes, you are.

Speaker 6 (43:11):
Yeah, we were promoting it. Oh you guys were promoting
it all weekends. Oh yeah, you know what I mean.
So yeah, back to back Tate McCrae songs for that. Also,
the White Lotus finale was last night. If you have
not watched it yet, turned down your radio right now
because we broke it all down, and you know, our
listeners want to chime in as well.

Speaker 18 (43:27):
I love how a lot of the characters changed from
evil to good or good to evil, like Belinda pulled
a Tanya at the end.

Speaker 12 (43:39):
And go talk that's how you pronounce this name.

Speaker 18 (43:42):
Became somewhat egotistical and ended up shooting wreck. So there
was a change in character with those two. And then
the dad changed for the better because he said that
they were going to face it as a family.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
Yeah, aggressive characters.

Speaker 6 (43:58):
Yeah, in Saxon, I feel like he had a good character.

Speaker 2 (44:02):
Yeah, well he was carrying the book around from Chelsea,
which is really cool.

Speaker 6 (44:05):
And think about him in the beginning of the season
everyone who hated them.

Speaker 3 (44:08):
Yeah, and I don't think Guy Talk had a choice
in shooting We're coming. The owner of the resort was
shouting kill him. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (44:15):
Yeah, he got the job that he wanted.

Speaker 14 (44:18):
Yeah he did.

Speaker 2 (44:18):
And the girl and the girl, yeah and the girl.

Speaker 11 (44:21):
Hi, missus Charlotte from Wilmington, And I'm calling about the
White Lotus finale. I thought it was really well done.
I'm so happy that Lachlan didn't die. I felt so
bad for him. And I think the tragedy in that
family is going to be when they find out that
they've all lost their money and the only one who's
not going to care is Lachlan. But otherwise, I thought

(44:43):
the finale was great and it was enough tragedy without
being too much.

Speaker 3 (44:49):
Now even the daughter gave up her dream of being
a Buddhist. I don't know, because she realized she loved
being rich.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
True Piper knows. I just I was like, slightly, I
don't know, I was left wanting more.

Speaker 6 (45:03):
Yeah, I mean, I just love Mike White, I love
the writing, I love the characters. So I mean, it
didn't like check every box for me, but overall I
thought it was.

Speaker 2 (45:11):
But it was good.

Speaker 6 (45:12):
It was good.

Speaker 3 (45:12):
Yeah, beautiful show.

Speaker 11 (45:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:14):
Was it worsting up till ten thirty at night, you.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
Know, but it was.

Speaker 6 (45:19):
It was. It did suck, but coming in here and
seeing the three of you and how beautiful you are
makes it all that worth it, you.

Speaker 3 (45:27):
Know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (45:27):
And your five books one all the money yeah, and
I made fifteen bucks.

Speaker 2 (45:31):
Yeah. It's nothing better than that, nothing better than that.
I love that
