Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now this morning show in Boston.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Billie and Lisa in the morning. It's just a great
start to my day on kids Away.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Here we go, welcome in. It's the Billy and Lisa
Morning Show. It is the Wednesday edition. And boy is
it cold out?

Speaker 4 (00:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:17):
When is this going to end?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Oh? My god? Is it cold?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
At least the sun's.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Out though, Well, okay, fine, but twenties overnight last night,
teens and some spots. Red Sox third and coldest game
in the history of the Red Sox.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
The stands were empty.

Speaker 5 (00:33):
It was thirty five thirty four degrees that first pitch. Yeah,
last night.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
But I mean, why are the stands empty? People go
to football games when it's colder than that. Why not
a baseball It's got to hurt when you have the
bat in your hands. Oh you take it inside off
the hand.

Speaker 5 (00:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (00:47):
Man.

Speaker 5 (00:47):
Alex Cora had a good cut. He said people always
complained about the weather and the cold in April, but
not in October.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Sure, Oh, I'm just glad to be there.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Well yeah, uh yeah, very cold. So it will be
sunny today.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Yes, sunny and dry.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
And by the way, just so you know, it's Wednesday,
and we already know it's going to be another rainy weekend,
Saturday and Sunday.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Third weekend in a row.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
What's Friday going to be?

Speaker 7 (01:13):
Do we know?

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Little shower at night? Yeah, at night and then like
a downpour on Saturday.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Oh great, so.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
We'll take it. Today's only the second rainless day in
the month of April.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
So on a Wednesday, we're early nine days in.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Yeah, I mean, look, we're in New England. You know
it's the weather it is.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
April's never good.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Yeah, oh yeah, you live here, you deal with it.

Speaker 5 (01:34):
Yep. Lisa's always said it.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
March and April are never nice and they will never
be nice. True, it's just the way it is, and
just accept it.

Speaker 5 (01:43):
I said that like ten years ago I did. Still
stands true.

Speaker 8 (01:46):
Anyway, Good morning, Justin. I had to get up at
three point thirty this morning to catch a flight. I
don't know how you guys do this every morning. I
want to punch myself in the face.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
I know, yeah, it's tough, but we do it to
catch a flight.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
I'll get that. But anytime, Oh I'm so, I'm so awake.

Speaker 9 (02:07):
Well that's something like the early morning flights are the
ones that usually take off.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yeah, you always want to book their first one.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
And you never care, even if it's three in the morning.
You don't care if you're on your way to the
airport and you know you're getting out of here.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah's so true, wo man.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
And even if even if I go to bed early,
you know, say go to bed at seven o'clock and
I get at bet three, that's eight hours still tired, yep, yep, right.
But if I slept from you know, ten pm to
six am, I wouldn't be as tired. It never gets easier.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Yeah, it's the mindset.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
And least of the book club is hitting the road.

Speaker 9 (02:42):
Yes, I want to mention we're going to Hartford in
less than a month with Caroline Kepness. She created the
U series, so we're going to be going down there.
I will be posting the link on my Instagram the
beginning of next week, So if you are going to
be in the area, if you have friends or relatives,
they can come and it's going to be amazing. We're
partnering with our station down there, and I'm actually going

(03:04):
there today to look at some of the event spaces.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Oh you have a road trip today off.

Speaker 9 (03:09):
Yeah, Caroline's going to be with us and the U
series the final season, the fifth and final season is
coming out on Netflix April twenty fourth, So this is
like perfect timing for all of this big.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Deal boy hard for next after that New York City
and then Los Angeles The Book Club.

Speaker 9 (03:28):
Yep, she's got big plans in the work too for
some other U series, like a new version.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Now, is Caroline Keptness the one that runs around Nantucket?

Speaker 2 (03:39):
No, that's that's Allan Hildeborg.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Okay, all right, No, he's paying attention.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
Well, I guess the authors mixed up.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Ah yeah, yeah, well that's why I asked. I wanted
to make sure I had the right.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Like completely different authors.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Caroline writes about like a serial killer.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Oh good point.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Yeah, and Ellen Wright's is like the beach read queen.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Yeah. I was up at two thirty this morning. I
think I got here at three thirty, so I'm a
little foggy.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Well you had a big birthday celebration?

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Oh yeah, how did it go? It went fine? You know,
we went went out for a Mexican dinner last night.
You know, she got a birthday massage during the day. Yeah,
it was good.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Where'd you get her.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Huh, what'd you get?

Speaker 1 (04:23):
What'd you give her?

Speaker 10 (04:27):
She?

Speaker 3 (04:28):
I just gave her a did you give her another?

Speaker 5 (04:31):
Like wad of cash you gave your wife walking around
when Oh my god, Billy, wait a minute.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Oh my god, Okay, wait a minute. No, here's the thing.
I'm so glad you asked. Okay, Michelle is really really
hard to buy for. Every time I buy something and
wrap it and give it to her, she returns it. Okay,
it doesn't fit right, it's not the right style. I
always buy the wrong thing. Uh So now, leading up

(05:00):
to her birthdays, I just let her get things online
and buy whatever she wants.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
And you know, but you already did do that. What
let her buy whatever she wants?

Speaker 6 (05:09):
To know?

Speaker 3 (05:09):
But this makes it different. I said, make sure you
buy a few things today, buy a few things, Tom whatever,
and yeah, there, and then there was you did it.
There was a gift card and cash, a gift card
to wear. The gift card was to shop, and the
cash was to walk around with.

Speaker 11 (05:27):
The gift card one of those like Airmax gift cards
you have wine around the house.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
No, but it was an Amex card. But it was
a brand new one I bought last.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Week we spent the five to activate it.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
I oh, so it's amazing you just mentioned that because
I just looked at the sales were seen on my
way in this morning. They charged you.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Yes, that's time. You should just give her an.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Extra seven dollars.

Speaker 11 (05:48):
You should have given her an extra money in cash
and forget the card.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Hmm.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
Wow, Michelle was sitting flush.

Speaker 12 (05:54):
I think for the holidays, there should be a contest
where you can win at least walking around money.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
He got some walking around money, and she got the
gift card and you know flowers. She got a little
bit of everything. Oh, a little pot pourri. I can't
explain that, understand. She returns everything. Even think she buys online,
she returns. It's like a constant rotation. They're coming in

(06:26):
and they're going out. She never keeps anything. I don't
understand that. Anyway, we're coming up on the entertainment. We're
gonna hear from Jaron.

Speaker 13 (06:33):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
We're also gonna hear from Mike White. He's the guy,
he's the guy behind the show, the White Lotus. There
was an incident just days before the finale. There was
a dust up on the set. We're gonna tell you
about that.

Speaker 9 (06:47):
It's next from the Planet Fitness, Kiss one eight Studios.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
We we're back with Villy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Oh man, justin, let's get a couple of talkbacks and
let's reach out to the mafia.

Speaker 5 (06:59):
So the Billion Lisa Show is streaming always on the
iHeartRadio app. That's where you leave a talk back. To
join the show. Just look out for that little red microphone.
You press it and you can record your message right
in the phone. We are live this morning.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
I am trying to listen to you live this morning.
But listening live is sort of like not watching a
streaming network and trying to watch something on a regular
channel where you have to listen to commercials. I get
a bit impatient, but dying to get you live for
a little bit this morning before I head off to work.
Have a great day.

Speaker 5 (07:30):
Yeah, commercials of how we pay the bills. They're a
part of the radio show. You know, that's just a
part of what we do. And we feel your pain.
I mean, no one feels the pain of the commercials
more than Bill. Trust us.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
The candid microphone. No one ever knows when he's talking
into the candid microphone. Hey, would you mind voicing these commercials.
I have thirty seven of them. I know it's my
account and I'm generating a massive commission. What would you
do the thirty seven commercials? Ask me, and I'll say, sure,
why not? But you just hand it to me like

(08:05):
I'm your kick. Boy. I will drive to their house
and like chop the heads off their pets.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Now the entertainment updates with the Billy Cots.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
Okay, we all have to deal with the commercials things.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Yeah, you know, you know.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
The irony of it is when he doesn't have enough. Oh,
no one sells me anymore. No one wants to give
me commercials.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Okay again, First of all, you heard that edited towards
the end, right, That was him editing things in.

Speaker 5 (08:34):
That was your voice. And by the way, what did
the pets do?

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Everybody knows how much I love animals and love pats.
You edited something in there? God, okay, go ahead?

Speaker 2 (08:50):
My favorite?

Speaker 3 (08:51):
What's wrong with me?

Speaker 2 (08:53):
You're literally on the edge?

Speaker 3 (08:54):
Yeah, Coachella is this coming weekend? Boy, that happened fast.

Speaker 9 (08:58):
Yep, two weekends. This is the first one. I think
Lady Gaga is right.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
Oh yeah, we've got Lady Gaga post Malone. Travis Scott, Charlie, XCX,
Benson Boone, the list goes on and I don't forget
ed Shearon is going to be making against appearance at
Corchella this weekend, and he was on I'll Call Her
Daddy yesterday. And Sharon came to Boston a couple of
weeks ago. He did the music video, the whole thing,
and he was asked, what is his thing for Boston.

Speaker 14 (09:24):
It's always been the first place for me, like the
first biggest theater I played in, the first arena I
played here, and then the first Stadium, and it's always been.
But I guess there's something to do with the Irish heritage.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
I guess that.

Speaker 14 (09:37):
Yeah, But yeah, I love I Love Boston.

Speaker 5 (09:40):
Last night was fun.

Speaker 14 (09:41):
We did It's obviously Saint Patrick's Day, and I flew
the folk band that played with me on Gorway Girl.
I flew them over and they learned all my songs
and we basically did a trad jam of It was
like a set, but it was like with an Irish
trad band.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Yeah, by the way, it's going to be the first
to tell you some people love them and some people
hate him. I don't know.

Speaker 14 (10:01):
I think that sometimes overexposure goes into it, like songs
being on the radio too much. I think also, I
don't like necessarily fit the social norm of what a
pop star should like.

Speaker 5 (10:11):
Look like or act like.

Speaker 14 (10:12):
And I don't know if that like rubs people up
the wrong way that that I do look like their
brother who works at a Peach's shop. I feel like
people are like, why, like, why has that happened? And
maybe that annoys them and then you pair that with
the overexposure.

Speaker 9 (10:29):
That's why we love him. He doesn't look like the
typical Yeah.

Speaker 5 (10:34):
He's a ginger.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, Ed Shearon hideous locking ginger.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Oh my god, you are we sing?

Speaker 3 (10:43):
When did he say that?

Speaker 5 (10:45):
Okay, there was a little incident many years ago.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
He does love ed sharing, but no one loves more
than what is wrong with you?

Speaker 5 (10:53):
I'll give context on this one. No, no, no, it's because
Billy doesn't entertain the report every day and there are
cycles where the same art in the same celebrities every day.
So Ed Sharon had been in the news every day
for a month and he was tired of it. We
were making fun of him that he had another Ed
Sharon story.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Right, Billy just lashes out for no reason.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Both Ed just said overexposure.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
Right, yeah, I think I need to be medicated or
something too late for that. Oh my god. So anyway,
he's got Coachella this weekend. His new album is on
the way. Last week we played a clip of Sharon
and Jimmy Fallon doing a cover of Pink Pony Club
in the subway in New York. Well, yesterday they premiered
the produced version. I know she's gone to stream you club.

(12:02):
That's a fun thing. You don't hit the subway system.
They were in disguise. Pretty cool, So okay. White. Lotus
cast members have been making the rounds, hitting the interview
circuit both leading up to and after the season three finale.
The only person not talking much has been while the
Lotus creator, Mike White. And he's talking now and responding

(12:24):
to critics who may not have liked season three or
even the finale.

Speaker 15 (12:28):
I just realized, now I'm in this place where like,
no matter what I do, there's gonna be Oh, it
should have been what it was like in season two,
or they should have done this. You know, there's been
so many reactions to the finale, and you know now
that it's like this big hits. I think people, you know,
are criticizing the show in certain ways, but also just
the phenomenon, and you know, so it's like they're meaners

(12:49):
in ways that I'm not used to because I'm used
to being this kind of like undergo indie writer that
people are more championing, and so like, some of that
stuff does make me feel misunderstood or whatever.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Yeah, so some people either love or hate the theme
music from the White Lotus. This music right here, I
love it.

Speaker 5 (13:08):
I think it makes the show.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
It's iconic. I love it.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
I always skip it, so, oh I love it.

Speaker 5 (13:13):
Well, it's not just the intro too, it's during the
sh during the show, different moments. If that comes in
that too.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
Well, don't get too attached the music. Because the composer
of the guy behind the music quit the show just
days before the finale. He says he and Mike White
had some sort of a dust up on the.

Speaker 15 (13:32):
I honestly don't know what happened, except now I'm reading
his interviews because he decided to do some pr campaign
about him leaving the show, and reading the interviews, I
just realized he you know, I don't know. I just
don't think he respected me. He like wants people to
know that he's edgy and dark, and I'm I don't know,
like I watch reality to you, I don't know what

(13:52):
he's but so yeah, I realized, like, because we never
really bought, I don't know what he's talking does be suited.
I don't think I ever had a fight with him,
maybe some emails. I knew he was not like a
team player and that he wanted to do it his
way or whatever. But I was thrown that he would
like go to the New York Times to sit on

(14:13):
me in the show like three days before the finaleos
like kind of a bitch, bo I know, I.

Speaker 5 (14:18):
Totally agree with that, a little bit of a.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
It was everywhere like this guy how a show in
the country, Yeah, right, probably the world and they can't
get along. Yeah gosh, another white lotus sidebar here. Actor
Walton Walton Goggins, the guy with the huge forehead, has
a fan base now, and the fan base is called
Goggins girlies. And then you have country singer Luke Combs.

(14:49):
He's had sixteen count them, sixteen number one hits and
country hit music. One of the biggest names in country music.
He still lives in a two bedroom home with his
wife kids, two thousand square feet.

Speaker 16 (15:01):
We live in a two thousand square foot house. Man,
it's me. It was two bedrooms. Me and my wife
have a room, and then the kids at the boys
share room. We're always close together. We're always tight in there,
you know. With the living room is the playroom, so
all the kids toys are in there. And but it's
like every night it's like, all right, we're all cleaning.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
Up now, and mom and dad are cleaning up.

Speaker 16 (15:22):
But y'all, but y'all are like to the extent that
a one and a half year old, you know, he'll
he'll get a block and bring it over, and you.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
Know he might only pick up two things.

Speaker 16 (15:32):
But my two and a half year old now, like
he can actually make a five percent dent in the cleanup.
We make it a point to go, hey, man, like,
you need to help us with this stuff. This is
your You make a mess, you got to clean it up.

Speaker 5 (15:44):
It's good.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Start them early.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
I like him even more now.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Yeah, give him, give him a little chores. I love this.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Yeah, modest house. Yeah sixteen number one hits one of
the biggest names in country. I love it. I love it,
and then the kid Larroy teasing and Newston. Oh it's
called how does it feel? We've a clipperate?

Speaker 1 (16:10):
I like it?

Speaker 3 (16:19):
Call that a groove?

Speaker 5 (16:23):
Yeah no, no, no release date on that for the
kid Larroy. Hey, Lisa, how you doing?

Speaker 3 (16:30):
And how about this? Stephen A. Smith says he's not
totally ruling out a possible run for president. He's been
everywhere lately every very smart guy by the way, very
smart guy and pretty funny too. And this just in
Bill Gates kids will inherit less than one percent of
his wealth. That's the bad news. The good news is

(16:52):
his wealth is estimated at one hundred and one point
two billion. That works out to at least a billion
per kid.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Yeah, they can get by on that.

Speaker 5 (17:00):
I don't feel.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
That is not only a billion.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Yeah, Lisa, we got to talk about Lisa's book club.
You're hitting the road and we got to tell people
this is easy to get to too.

Speaker 9 (17:11):
It is so if you live you know out like
in the Worcester Hills, Shrewsbury, Grafton, Natick that you know
and listeners and we do have a lot of them,
you can go to this book club. It's May seventh
in Hartford. I'll be posting the link at the beginning
of next week. It's with Caroline Kepnis, who created the
U series US, dropping the final season April twenty fourth
on Netflix. So it's like perfect timing to have her

(17:34):
and to talk to her about the finale. The final season.
It's the fifth season. Joe goes back to New York.
So it's going to be really amazing and we're doing
it with Courtney and Kiss in the Morning. Our sister
station now ninety five point seven, So I'm going down
there today to sort of look at the spaces.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
But ninety plus Sellers is sponsoring it.

Speaker 9 (17:50):
Yeah, so we'll have ninety plus sellers wines and a
nice discussion with Caroline and.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
Billy and Lisa. Listeners can meet and greet with Hartford
listeners exactly down there for Hartford.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Gonna make a day trip of it. I might do that.

Speaker 11 (18:02):
West Hartford has like such good restaurants and a really
good oh that mall, yeah, the Westfield West Farm Mall,
great mall.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
It is a good mall. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (18:12):
So anyway, just think about it and we'll post it
at the beginning of next week.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
All right, quickly, celts beat the next last night, in overtime,
Tatum hit the three with just seconds left on regulation
forced the overtime Celts win. It won nineteen one seventeen.
Celt's gonna play the Magic tonight. Bruins beat the Devil
seven too. The BU hockey team headed to the Frozen four.
They'll play Penn State tomorrow night. And we're brought to
you by the ninety nine Restaurant. Monday through Wednesday, you

(18:39):
can their newest big deal meal, the Krispy Fried Twin
Catch with North Atlantic Cod and Crispy Shrimp. Oh, I'm
all over there, just fourteen ninety nine every Monday through Wednesday,
that includes today. You gotta love the Nines and there
you go. Walton Goggins, the guy with the huge forehead.

Speaker 9 (18:57):
From the Planet's Fitness Kiss.

Speaker 10 (19:01):
We're back with a Villy and Lisa in the morning
on Kiss.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Why wait and welcome back everybody. Great to see the
sun out this morning, Lisa, you don't see the sun
around here much.

Speaker 9 (19:10):
Yeah, it's gonna be here for the next two days
or so, and then we'll have some more rain this weekend.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
Yeah, but it's cold. It was cold, very cold overnight,
like in the twenties, and it was very windy yesterday
forty to fifty ago. It's going to be a lot
less windy today.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
It was windy yesterday.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
I could think of walking home from work.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
Yesterday it was Billy and the wind.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Oh man, So it's precisely sevent ten. So let's announce
the artist of the day, and it is Lady Gaga.
You're listening for two Lady Gaga songs back to back,
and when you hear them, you get the whole damn thing.

Speaker 9 (19:47):
Late it's a whole trip for four Universal Orlando, and
you get park passes, three day park passes.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
We cover everything.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
Yeah, it's an amazing thing for four people to get
away for five days, four nights Universal. All kinds of
new stuff happening at Universal. Could not be a better time.
And everybody's really frustrated about the weather around here right
now too. So you get to get away and so
call it twenty five six one.

Speaker 7 (20:12):
Eight.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
After you get to Lady garga songs in a row,
so you get all the rules and now you know
how to play and justin you've got a story you
want to talk about.

Speaker 5 (20:20):
Well, yesterday I was at home, you know, sitting on
my couch after work, a little tired. And you know,
I have a credit card that I use for pretty
much everything, for the miles, you know, Capitol one card,
and so I had longed on to check something. I'm
not good about checking my transactions. I should be better
about that. Yeah, for fraud, right, So I open it
up and I'm looking and I see all these charges

(20:42):
on them. Yeah, but this is I know, you might
remember last year I gave all my money away. Yes,
that was my debit card, but this is my credit card.
So I see all these charges that are pending, like
six of them, and it says Xbox.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
Oh it's your son, Okay.

Speaker 5 (20:58):
So then I'm like, I'm confused, and I start to
scroll down a little bit to pryor transactions, and it
was unbelievable. So now I'm like, my son's in school
and so he plays Xbox obviously, sure, So I call Xbox.
I'm on the phone with them. I'm chatting online trying
to figure it. They're trying to help me. They can't
figure it. I was a whole thing. Turns out he

(21:21):
was my card. I had put on his game for
a ten dollars subscription so he could play like with
his friends. And so that means when he goes to
buy they're called v Bucks on fortnight. Yeah, he just
he just was just buying.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Them that much.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
Yeah. How much were we talking here?

Speaker 5 (21:38):
I really don't want.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
To say, say it was it like a thousand dollars
around them?

Speaker 5 (21:44):
Yeah? Yeah, it's parent.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
Are they going to reverse some of the charges they
will not?

Speaker 5 (21:51):
Yeah? Wow, you know I never used to. Yeah, here's
here's the best part. Can I just best part? Okay,
So it's my I had I talked to my son.
I didn't yell at him. I didn't say he was
in trouble. I should have known better. He didn't. I mean,
when he goes to buy them, it doesn't say like,
here's your card, automatically you press the button and boom,
you know. So when he got home, I explained that

(22:12):
to him and he was very understanding, and he was like,
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, and he goes, hold on a second, Dad,
I'm gonna make this right. And he walks into the
other room and comes back with his wallet that he has,
and he opens his wallet and he takes out the
two dollars wallet and he goes here.

Speaker 9 (22:31):
Dad, I like that he gave you everything he had,
the whole two bucks.

Speaker 5 (22:38):
So it's just a warning for parents out there if
they play video games, don't have your card on there.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Yeah, the same thing happened a long Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Also a heads up check your transactions because last year
I never really looked at transactions a lot, and last
year I happened to look, and I think it was
my Amex card and there were like thirty to forty
Uber chargers in a row, like like a string of
Uber chargersands of dollars. And it wasn't me, and it
was all in San Francisco, and I'm like, I guess

(23:05):
that must be where they're offering it. And you know,
I called. All I did was call Amex. Luckily it
was the Annex card and they wiped it out. That's
the good news. But the bad news I saw it
on my credit report. So I still got hit on
my credit report because of Uber falsely or like crookedly
charging me.

Speaker 11 (23:24):
Can I give you to a tip You guys can
on the apps that you have, have them notify you
when it's a charge. So I have an Airmax card
that's for my Delta cause I have a good Delta
card and every time I make a purchase, I get
a little notification with the personages and for how much more?

Speaker 5 (23:37):
Oh that's the good what you see, that's a good tip.
I used my card for everything.

Speaker 11 (23:42):
Yeah, but I mean it's worth it for the times
that you're like with the able thing.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
You could have caught that a month ago, you know.

Speaker 5 (23:47):
Yeah, b books, Fortnite.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
Thousand thousand evens.

Speaker 5 (23:53):
There was it was around there. It was, you know,
twenty five dollars. It was averaging about one hundred dollars
the day, a day, going back several days.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
Oh god, well, I'm glad you caught it.

Speaker 5 (24:04):
Luckily I looked. So that's the PSA for today. Make
sure you check your transfer can pull the plug on it.

Speaker 6 (24:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (24:09):
I took my card off, and he was very understanding
of that. Yeah, you know, well.

Speaker 11 (24:13):
It seems like he did the I mean for eight
like him trying to give you his two dollars and
being apologetic.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
That's a win.

Speaker 5 (24:19):
Yes, yeah, he was. He was very understanding and he
could see that I was upset.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
It's an expensive win as a parent, but it's a win.

Speaker 3 (24:25):
Yeah, did you keep the two bucks?

Speaker 5 (24:27):
I gave him the two bucks? You know, I'm a
good dad, you know what I mean. Hey, what's the
craziest thing you've ever left in an Uber? Or if
you're an Uber driver, what's the craziest thing someone has
left in your car? That's the topic we'll discuss next
on Kissing Lisa Kiss.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
So we got this cool story. Apparently people are losing
crazy things or leaving crazy things in ubers or lifts.
You've got a list of some of the crazy things least.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
All right, Yeah, so Uber does this every year.

Speaker 9 (24:55):
They released the list the Lost and Found It Index,
and some of the craziest things that have been left behind. Obviously, phones,
keys and wallets are like the number one thing, and
Boston is like number seven on the most forgetful list, okay,
New York being the most forgetful city. But they've found
live turtles, They've found fresh breast milk, They've found ten

(25:20):
live lobsters, fifteen hookahs, they've a mannequin head with human
hair on it, a chainsaw, Like, I don't know what
people are carrying around with them, but yeah, this list
is pretty bizarre.

Speaker 3 (25:32):
Yeah, there are a couple of them really make no
sense to me, Like somebody left a urinal in an
Uber and somebody else had a Viking drinking horn.

Speaker 9 (25:42):
So here's another one, one hundred and seventy five Hamburger sliders.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
Oh, I'm going to take it into five gallon bucket
of beans. Yeah. Oh, somebody actually left their divorce papers
in the car.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Oh, you can't lose those.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
I'm burned, Eine. You just don't want to see them,
you know which. Oh why do I say things for yourself?

Speaker 6 (26:09):
Up?

Speaker 5 (26:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (26:11):
But yeah, it made us think, like, what's the craziest
thing that you've ever left in an Uber?

Speaker 2 (26:15):
And I know, Bill, you've left your phone at Florida once.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
And I'm telling you this was weird. I knew I
was going to dinner at a restaurant. We took an Uber,
and you know, I was sitting in the back seat.
They have the console between the two seats and an SUV,
so I had my phone right on that console. I
got out of the car within two minutes. I knew
I left it there on the console. Contacted the Uber
driver and he insisted it wasn't in the car, And
then the general manager of the hotel said, oh, no,

(26:41):
that's a ring down here. It's very popular. The Uber
drivers have a place they bring the phones and they
get good money for them. I said, oh my god,
I had to go through Helen, Florida getting a new phone.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
Mine's really random. I lost my favorite pair of jeans.

Speaker 11 (26:54):
Like I was hitking Uber to the airport last year
and I had like my favorite favorite girls. Know, it's
so hard to find, and this was like a pair
of jeans that I missed.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
I missed them to this day, I can't get over it.

Speaker 11 (27:09):
And I came from the Uber and I opened and
my my bag, I'm like opened by accident. My suitcase
and my jeans were in there and I couldn't find them.
And I called the guy and he said they weren't
in there, But I was like, where else are they
because the tru.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
They were in the trunk. Yeah, so I don't know
where they were.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
Probably nice jeans. Let's go to Sherry. She's calling in
from Boston. Good morning, Shary, what have you got? You
leave something in an Uber or a lyft?

Speaker 17 (27:37):
Hi?

Speaker 15 (27:38):
Good morning.

Speaker 6 (27:39):
I left my ten thousand dollars engagement.

Speaker 13 (27:42):
Ring from Europe Uber all the way home from a party.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Oh did you get it back?

Speaker 6 (27:48):
No? I didn't hold them and they said it never happened,
So I think they stole it.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
They Oh my god, Oh my god. Was your fiance pissed?

Speaker 13 (27:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 15 (28:00):
Like crazy?

Speaker 7 (28:00):
Pause.

Speaker 12 (28:00):
He told me he was gonna get me a ring
from Timu.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
By the way, shout out to Uber and Lyft drivers
because a lot of them listened to the morning show
and and we love you and Collin.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
If you found something weird while you were driving someone.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Oh my god, I can't believe them.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Asuring did it fall off her fingers?

Speaker 1 (28:22):
Oh, let's ask her.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Yeah it did, didn't follof your finger.

Speaker 17 (28:27):
I was drunk coming home and it wasn't.

Speaker 12 (28:29):
There when I got out.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
I'm sorry. Did you say you were drunk coming home? Yeah?
We were at a party with my girlfriends. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Did you guys get married? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (28:43):
Do you have a ring now?

Speaker 6 (28:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (28:46):
It's really cheap, thought.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
The expensive one.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
That was a good start.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
You got talk back in there, buddy.

Speaker 5 (28:56):
Uh yeah, let's go. Laurie's on the phone. Talk on
for a while. I feel bad.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
Hey Laurie, Hey, how are you guys? We're great. What happened, Well,
this happened.

Speaker 18 (29:07):
A couple of years ago.

Speaker 8 (29:08):
But we were on our way.

Speaker 19 (29:09):
We would go into a broova and we couldn't go
into a room yet, and we said, okay, well let's
go sight seeing, you know, until it's like three o'clock
or so.

Speaker 6 (29:19):
And my phone fell out of my pocket and I
could not get my phone back all vacation.

Speaker 3 (29:24):
Yeah, that's kind of what happened to me too. In Florida.
It's such an asshole.

Speaker 5 (29:28):
It's very common the cell phone. Yeah, yeah, I mean
it's not a ten thousand dollars ring, but yeah, that's great.
I can't believe that.

Speaker 3 (29:36):
Good morning guys.

Speaker 17 (29:37):
The craziest thing I ever left in an uber by
the stake was my innocence after listening to Billy in
the morning.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
Hello, this is my guy right there.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
I'm going to bring him in one though.

Speaker 3 (29:51):
Absolutely, But that's the topic. Topic time is coming up.
The number to call six one, seven, nine, three eight.
Have you lost something really really crazy or really really
valuable in uber or lyft or if you're out there,
we know you're out there. Uber drivers, Lyft drivers, Have
you found something incredible in your car after your passenger

(30:13):
got out?

Speaker 5 (30:13):
How do they get to the talkback? Justin Yeah, you
can be anonymous too. You can be anonymous on the talkback.
Just record your message into the phone. You do it
on the iHeartRadio app. Download it. It's free the red microphone.
That's your key six.

Speaker 3 (30:24):
Point seven nine three one. A. Topic time is.

Speaker 9 (30:27):
Neck Now it's topic time with a Billy and Lisa.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
In the morning.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
Okay, so we're talking about uber lyft rides. You know,
people leaving things in the ubers. There's a list of
crazy things that Uber drivers are finding in the backseat
of the car when the passengers get out, and I
mean a crazy list. So that's the topic. Have you
left something, did you lose something, or if you're a driver,
have you found something? Justin let's talk. Let's start with
the talkbacks.

Speaker 7 (30:53):
We went to the FedEx Cups in Atlanta, Georgia, spent
hundreds of dollars in the gift shop and accidentally left
that bag of swagger in an Uber and our driver,
who I'm pretty sure was wearing stilettos from the night before,
I don't think, had much of an appreciation for what
the contents of that bag.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
Unfortunately, Oh boy, what do you think was in the bag?

Speaker 4 (31:18):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (31:19):
Fed Ex compass, golf golf stuff? Yea, like apparel maybe, yeah,
some golf balls.

Speaker 17 (31:25):
Yeah, I'm not sure, the Morning Morning crew. It's Lynn
from Milton with the twins. I left a cell phone
in an Uber when I was in Disney World and
she held it for ransom. She told my sister that
I needed to go to an ATM machine and get
lots of money. And when she showed up, I only

(31:47):
paid her sixty dollars, but she wouldn't give me the
phone if I didn't pay her something.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
Isn't that nice? Have a great day. Wow, that's the
craziest one right there.

Speaker 5 (31:57):
She paid the ransom.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
Wow, Wow, it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
Sixty bucks.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
And again we love our Uber drivers.

Speaker 5 (32:07):
Oh they're the best.

Speaker 20 (32:07):
Hey, this is Uber driver. One day, your girl almost
left a vomit in my car for me. I wasn't
a wed light. She touched me and said stop stop,
stop starting shooping the car vomit outside Lucky for me.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
Oh yeah, I could see that happening a lot.

Speaker 5 (32:24):
Well. Yeah, I've talked to some Uber drivers, some friends
that do Uber. That's the biggest fear there is they
vomit in the car. You don't get the smell out.

Speaker 11 (32:32):
It's a fear as a rider because the clean feels
like two fifty.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
My sister had that happen with a friend vomited in
the car.

Speaker 11 (32:39):
My sister canceled her Uber subscription because she's like, I'm
not getting charge of two fifty.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
I didn't do it well.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
Not only that, you have to cancel out your night
of work or your day of work. You can't pick
up your next customer with vomit in the car.

Speaker 5 (32:50):
You don't get the smell out never forever, never, ever,
yeah never.

Speaker 3 (32:55):
Best thing I lost in an Uber was my virginity.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
I know, I know someone.

Speaker 9 (33:02):
I'm surprised they haven't said like underwear and stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (33:06):
Oh yeah, yeah, man, that's a good night. Let's go
to Tina and Beverly. Hey Tina, what did you lose?
What did you find?

Speaker 19 (33:16):
I left my carry on bag on the way to
the airport in a limousine. Yeah, and I was just
really lucky. We were on our way home from Jamaica
and driver came in and found us at the airport
and gave me my bag back.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
Wow, that's an honest driver right there. Yeah, definitely there's
something about driving. I'm glad you brought up that point.
Whenever I travel, right, I'm constantly freaked out about what
I'm carrying and what not to leave behind because I
tend to lose things. I mean, but I'm freaked out
until I get to my final destination. When I get
out of a new born now, I always turn around

(33:55):
and look three times, see anything in the back seat,
anything on the floor, recheck the trunk, and then I
head out. But yeah, you freak out. You lose a
lot of stuff. I'll traveling. Let's go to Gail Gale's
and kit and hey, Kale, Hi, how are you good?
You going down to the reed trial today? No, I'll
go ahead, Gail.

Speaker 12 (34:16):
I am a seventy five year old woman that's an
uber driver, and I picked up a passenger, brought him
to the liquor store and brought him home. I'm pulling
into my driveway, done for the night, and I get
a phone call and he says, I left my phone
in your car. So I look in the back. I said,
I don't see it. Why don't you call it? He said,
I already did it didn't ring. He said, it looks
like a wallet, like okay, So I look again, and

(34:39):
just out of the corner of my eye, I see
this white package in the pouch behind the passenger seat.
A passenger seat and I pull it out and it's
a vial and a small brick of something.

Speaker 15 (34:54):
I said, are you.

Speaker 12 (34:56):
Looking for the plastic wrapped He goes, oh, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 13 (35:01):
Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 12 (35:03):
I don't want to throw it out and have it
in my garbage. And he gave me one hundred dollars.

Speaker 15 (35:09):
To boot drugs.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
That wasn't a wallet, okay, the drug break a mile.

Speaker 18 (35:22):
Wing food.

Speaker 21 (35:23):
This is a bust of Uber driver. I always find
a phone or air pods, but always make sure to
reach out to Uber and let them know so they
PREMI in contact with the riders so I can return
to the items. I'll never keep anything from me, honest, Uber driver.

Speaker 3 (35:42):
Here there we go. See. But that's the deal. It's
so easy for the driver to contact you because they
could just send you a text message.

Speaker 8 (35:49):
You know.

Speaker 3 (35:50):
Oh, by the way, I have your phone and then yeah.

Speaker 11 (35:52):
They have your phone, you can't they can't text you.

Speaker 3 (35:56):
Oh good point.

Speaker 5 (35:57):
Yeah, but you know what if they have your phone,
they have a what do you call that find my iPhone? Yeah, yeah,
tracker is on the phone, the track, it's it on line.

Speaker 4 (36:04):
My brother left his phone in an Uber one time
and they tried to tell him that they didn't have it.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Yeah, we all share locations.

Speaker 4 (36:11):
So the next morning we could see where his phone was,
and we went to the driver's house and we.

Speaker 10 (36:17):
Got it back.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
Yeah that's yeah, that's what happened to me in Florida.
He kept the phone, told me he didn't have it
in the car.

Speaker 5 (36:24):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
Yeah, nightmare.

Speaker 3 (36:27):
Oh it was awful.

Speaker 5 (36:29):
God, I'm surprised morouber drivers on calling in.

Speaker 3 (36:31):
But the I gotta tell you, I want to hear more. Yeah,
a positive story though. Michelle and I were in New
York for a weekend once and she left her phone
in the taxi where the uber we took from the
airport to the hotel, and somehow got in. I got
in touch with the driver, and the driver was already

(36:52):
like sixty seventy miles away, but he made arrangements to
meet us at the hotel later that day, and he
drove all the way back and brought the phone. You
have to imagine.

Speaker 5 (37:05):
Yeah, well, the mayor of the celt ends on the phone. Yeah,
I'm looking at it. It seems a little risky. You
want to risk it?

Speaker 3 (37:12):
I think we should much risk it. Is one of
the crew. Good morning, mister Mayer, keep it clean.

Speaker 13 (37:19):
Now, this is a true story. So here's a tip.
Look into the passenger seat before you get in the
uber when your ride comes to check the back seat.
D quickly because I opened the door and I saw
sitting in the passenger seat. Can I say it on
the radio.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
Seat?

Speaker 13 (37:42):
And I'd like to thank my uber driver as I
was screaming like a maniac, and.

Speaker 15 (37:47):
He said, oh, I'm so sorry, sir, and.

Speaker 13 (37:49):
He drove me home and he didn't charge me.

Speaker 11 (37:53):
Oh boy, yeah, yeah, to take it home with you.

Speaker 13 (38:00):
Oh stop it. I knew you were going to play that.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
You can always cut on the mayor for a good story.

Speaker 3 (38:10):
Yeah, really, so we held on to him for a
couple of minutes. Yeah, we knew it would be good.

Speaker 16 (38:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (38:14):
Nancy, Good morning, Nancy.

Speaker 6 (38:18):
Good morning. Everyone.

Speaker 3 (38:20):
Go ahead, give us your story.

Speaker 6 (38:22):
I was at Spinelli's in Lynnfield for my girlfriend's lendend
doing her hair, got in an uber to leave after
the wedding and left my brand new five hundred dollars
backpack with all my Orbay products, brand new shoes and
my boyfriend's five hundred dollars sunglasses.

Speaker 10 (38:38):
Oh oh boy, oh yeah, it.

Speaker 6 (38:40):
Was not fun. Called immediately. They're like, oh, there's nothing
in here. Nothing in here. Called to Lost and Found. No,
we don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker 3 (38:47):
Yeah, that driver's cruising around those five hundred dollars glasses. Baby,
good one. Let's go to Mary and Quincy Marry. Good morning.
What's your story.

Speaker 10 (38:56):
Hey, My brother is an Uber driver and he grocery shopping,
put his groceries in the trunk of his car, and
then decided to turn on his Uber. He picked up
a person from the grocery store who also put her
groceries in the trunk of his car, and when she left,
she took all his grocery.

Speaker 15 (39:18):
Yes, it was.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
Did she do it intentionally?

Speaker 15 (39:23):
I don't know.

Speaker 10 (39:23):
He doesn't know, And he didn't realize until he get
home and went to bring his groceries in the house
and they were gone, oh.

Speaker 5 (39:30):
Boy, oh well he was eating good Oh yeah.

Speaker 18 (39:35):
Good morning everyone. How you doing. This is Bailey from
peevt just to touch on the topic of leaving stuff
in uber's I left my Nintendo switch, my camera, my
Sony headphones, my Apple AirPods, and my iPad in the
backseat of a.

Speaker 15 (39:54):
Taxi in Florida and I just let it go.

Speaker 18 (39:58):
It wasn't worth a hassle trying to track it down.

Speaker 3 (40:01):
Whatever was he carrying all that different stuff with him?

Speaker 5 (40:04):
Well, he's traveling headphones and video games.

Speaker 2 (40:06):
You're understand how much money that was a lot?

Speaker 1 (40:09):
He's giving gamer vibes.

Speaker 3 (40:11):
Oh yeah, yeah, probably a game of the gamer. Yeah,
that's a big hit though.

Speaker 5 (40:15):
Yeah, he could have said he could have left something worse.

Speaker 3 (40:17):
You Billy every morning just went away. Absolute jam right
there of Vichy Alo black Man. That's a good song.
That's an absolute jam. We had a really good topic
time in the seven o'clock hour talking about things left
or found in an uber or lyft and it got crazy.

Speaker 5 (40:37):
Yeah, we had the mayor of the South End talk
about something he found in an uber or you know
it was an adult toy, is what he said.

Speaker 15 (40:44):
Good morning.

Speaker 17 (40:45):
I love the mayor of the South End and that
story about what he found in the uber just wanted
to point out.

Speaker 10 (40:52):
Though you guys asked him if he took it home.

Speaker 3 (40:56):
He didn't say no. I noticed that he never does.
I noticed. I just wanted to let it go.

Speaker 5 (41:08):
We had to move on. He was like yelling at
