Hey everyone, it's great to be back after a short break – in this episode, I dive into a personal exercise that I've been doing for years: choosing three words to shape my year. It's a simple but powerful framework that helps me stay focused, motivated, and make intentional decisions. I walked listeners through some of my words from previous years, like "focus, discipline, and consistent" from 2018, and how those words guided my choices throughout the year.
This year, my three words are "and," "energy," and "document." I'm embracing the idea of "and" to challenge myself to pursue multiple goals and passions without feeling limited. "Energy" is all about cultivating a positive and enthusiastic mindset, both for myself and the impact it has on others. Finally, "document" reflects my commitment to writing, tracking my progress, and sharing my journey with all of you. I believe that by documenting my experiences, I can not only hold myself accountable but also provide valuable insights for other recruiters. I encouraged listeners to join me in this exercise and share their own three words, and I'm excited to see what they come up with!

And just a reminder that I'm going to be speaking at Benjamin Mena's Recruiter Sales Summit next month on the 15th, and you're invited! The seminar is titled "5 Overlooked Ways to Quickly Gain New Clients in 2025", and it's totally FREE to attend!
