Hoy converso con el astrónomo Juan Diego Soler quien está realizando un postdoctorado en el departamento de formación planetaria y estelar en el Instituto Max Planck de Astronomía en Heidelberg, Alemania. Se dedica a estudiar el rol de los campos magnéticos en la formación de estructuras en el medio interestelar. Hablaremos sobre campos magnéticos, la polarización del polvo interestelar y sus efectos en la observación de la radiación de fondo cósmico de microondas. Descubriremos el trabajo que Juan Diego realizó en la misión Planck, su trabajo con telescopios en globos lanzados desde la Antártica y su relación con la cosmología, además de algunas anécdotas e historias muy entretenidas.
