In Deutschland sind 2021 erneut weniger neue Ausbildungsverträge abgeschlossen worden als vor der Pandemie. Zugleich sank die Zahl der Bewerbungen. Auch schlossen weniger Nachwuchskräfte ihre Ausbildung erfolgreich ab. Es fällt Unternehmen in Deutschland schwerer, ihre Ausbildungsplätze zu besetzen. Zwar haben im vergangenen Jahr(2021) hierzulande 467.100 Menschen einen neuen Ausbildungsvertrag abgeschlossen - und damit mehr als 2020, wie das Statistische Bundesamt mitteilte. Das Niveau aus dem Jahr 2019 wurde aber erneut nicht erreicht. Zum selben Ergebnis kommt auch eine neue Studie des Instituts für Arbeitsmarkt- und Berufsforschung (IAB), welche in Nürnberg vorgestellt wurde. Demnach gab bei der Befragung des Instituts fast die Hälfte der Betriebe an, dass die Zahl der Bewerbungen zurückgegangen sei. Etwa 40 Prozent berichteten außerdem, dass die Qualität der Bewerbungen abgenommen habe. Rechtsanwalt Tobias Gerlach und Rechtsanwalt Fabian Baumgartner tauschen sich über die Möglichkeiten aus, den Ausbildungsberuf attraktiver zu machen, indem die rechtlichen Möglichkeiten der Betriebsratsbeteiligung ausgeschöpft werden.
