What if Your Hero was Your Future Self?

The Academy Award ceremony earlier this month reminded me to revisit one of my favorite award acceptance speeches, which was by Matthew McConaughey nearly 10 years ago. He talks about who his hero was at age 15, age 25, and beyond. And I absolutely love how he connected his hero with his future self.

In this episode, I not only share that speech with you, but I also go into more depth about the concept of connecting with your future self. 

I remember one pivotal moment in my past when I faced a tough decision, and I quickly thought about my future self. The more I trusted her, the more aware I was when the best next step revealed itself to me.
