A business is NOT just in business to make money. Executives can fall back on the long standing tenants of capitalism and answer only to shareholders and Wall Street, but in the reality we should live in, a business has an obligation to its customers, to its employees and to the world in which it lives. In a volatile economy and shaky job market, thinking about long term benefits to the country and the altruistic deeds we aspire to are as important now as ever. So who will lead the charge?
