The Russ Berrie Making a Difference Award is a prestigious awards program that honors "unsung heroes" who demonstrate their passion and unstoppable commitment to serve the most vulnerable. Since the inception of the Russ Berrie Making a Difference Award in 1997, there have been over 400 honorees who've received more than $4 million in cash awards. Their work is improving people's lives and making communities stronger. This year, eleven outstanding changemakers were honored at the 27th Anniversary Award Ceremony. They received awards totaling $160,000.
