Speaker 1 (00:00):
What do you have on draft? Let's talk to the pros.
Welcome in everybody to Fantasy Pros. This is the Fantasy
Football Podcast. It is me Joey Paid Joe Pis and
today this is it the final mock draft of mock
draft season. It's been fun, it's been a whirlwind. It's
been a time of ups and downs, peaks and valleys.

(00:20):
We've had guests, we've had our analysts, and now we're
getting closer to the actual drafts happening. But before we
get there, we've got one more good mock in us
and we're gonna go out there and make it today.
And if you haven't already, make sure you subscribe to
Fantasy Pros YouTube channel because Thursday, the twenty seventh, live
at seven pm, we will be there. You will be
there with us, and we will be hosting the NFL Draft.
That's right, the best second screen experience in the world,

(00:43):
Fantasy Pros, because we're going to talk about the breakdowns
of the players from fantasy from wagering perspective.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Get you already.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Hopefully Derek Brown will brush his beard and get the
beard already too, like he does live on this show.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Hopefully you do that behead of time for that show.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
How I want a perfect beard, perfectly straight before the
show begins, because this is the NFL Draft, dammit, this
is a time to be super professional before we get
into today's three round mok. And again we're going to
talk about the fantasy assets, spend time on them today
because we're doing all three rounds quick thing. Obviously, a
little trade finally happened. It only took three months, but

(01:18):
Aaron Rodgers is now officially a New York Jet. Some
picks have been swapped, some things have been moved on.
Mister packer, I got to start with you, Pat fitz Morris.
Where are the Green Bay Packers now without Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Well, let the Jordan Love era begin.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
I guess they're gonna find out for sure whether this
dude can play or not. But before they find out
whether he can play, Joe, they got to decide on
his fifth year option, which is kind of interesting. That's
coming up in like a matter of days where they're
gonna have to make that call.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
So that's gonna be a leap of faith.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Yeah, I mean, like either he is, you know, has
taken all this learning time behind Aaron Rodgers and made
himself a good quarterback and things are gonna be just
fine or he's gonna be a disaster. And now they've
got draft capitol net to find their quarterback, their.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Next quarterback of the future. So really interesting.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
I'm a little skeptical, as one start was kind of
a disaster in twenty twenty one against the Chiefs. He's
at a couple decent relief appearances, but we're gonna find out.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I'm gonna take some cheap shares of Christian Watson next year,
just for fun to see Derek Brown.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
The Jets have a new quarterback. He's forty years old.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
He enjoys darkness, retreats, and whinding about things that don't
go his way. Is a great opportunity here, certainly for
the New York Jets to try to get into the playoffs.
What does this mean here for Garrett Wilson, for Breeze
Hall and the rest of this offense. Now that Aaron Rodgers,
arguably the best player to ever play for the Jets,
is now playing for the Jets.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
I think all the Garrett Wilson hype is going to
go through the roof. You've already seen that on Twitter streets.
Some people are saying.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
He's wide receiver one overall.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
That's crazy. I like Garrett Wilson, and do not get
me wrong, I like Garrett Wilson. But the things that
can hold Garrett Wilson down are an aging Aaron Rodgers possibly,
and unless the New York Jets, and I'm talking about
Aaron Rodgers and the then you'll hack it decide that
they're gonna sit here and run an offense that's not

(03:13):
slow as hell, which they've been bottom three, bottom five
in pace. With that tandem leading the way, Garrett Wilson's
gonna struggle as far as hitting the top range of
that target outcomes in his ceiling and stuff. So I
like Garrett Wilson. I still probably think he's gonna be
a low end wide receiver one, high end two depending
on where his touchdowns go. The rest of the offense

(03:34):
you're picking off pieces man. As far as the pass catchers,
Breecee Hall is Breeze Hall. If he's healthy to start
the year, the ACL is not a concern. He's a
top twelve, top fifteen running back. And the rest of
this offense outside of Garrett Wilson, Breeze Hall and maybe
smaron Rodgers exposure. You could probably miss.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Me with that.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
I'm not falling on the air. The album's hard knife.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Oh that's fair, thor you are the draft guru? Did
the Packers get enough for the forty year old Rogers?

Speaker 6 (03:59):
The Beckers put on a ski mask and went.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
To the forty joe.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Okay, thirty nine and a half they gave.

Speaker 7 (04:06):
I mean, the Jets gave up way too much by
any measure, Like, you know, you look at what they
gave up this year and the draft equity, it rings
up to the equivalent of the thirty fourth pick, and
then if Rogers simply plays next year, right, the sixty
five percent of the snaps is the threshold he gets
over that you have to give up your first rounder
next year. So you're basically giving up the thirty fourth

(04:26):
pick and you know, the equivalent of it in this
draft and your first rounder next year, unless it's an
even more disastrous out coming and Aaron Rodgers plays less
than sixty five percent of the snaps, Like, I just
wonder did the Jets ever think to call Baltimore and see, like,
would you guys take this package for Lamar Jackson?

Speaker 2 (04:42):
On Monday? I said the same thing.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Why if you're gonna move all heaving and earth to
get a quarterback, why not dry with the guys?

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Look, got a two in front of the beginning of
his age.

Speaker 7 (04:50):
Like Rogers has a fork sticking out of his back
at this point. And if you want to give up,
you know.

Speaker 6 (04:54):
The equivalent of almost two first round.

Speaker 7 (04:56):
Picks for that, I mean, go ahead, but yeah, that
to me, that's a really poor decision.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Rodgers.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Man, you guys are trying to turn him forty, but
while he's still thirty now is talking about him like
he's an overcook piece of meat.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Man, you guys are being tough on ar jazz I wish.

Speaker 6 (05:16):
He was still starting for the Packers.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
All right, we've got a hold knock getting mad a
draft to do.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
You've got a draft due.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
This could go for three hours here, and this is
why you want to join us live on Thursday again.
Make sure you subscribe, click the belt that it goes
thing for notifications, join us for the draft because this
is pretty much what.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
It's gonna be.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Like, it's gonna be fantastic. All right, that was five
good minutes on Aaron Rodgers. Now we move on to
what really matters the number one overall pick. The Carolina
Panthers are on the clock. Pat fitz Morris, e're.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Up Bryce Young, highest floor of any quarterback in the draft.
Pretty high ceiling too, and a certain draft analyst named
Thorne Eystrom has comped him to Russell Wilson. I'm sure
the Panthers would be pleased with that sort of outcome.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
All right, number two.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
A lot of speculation on what's happening here for the
Houston Texans. Certainly things have been moving and shaking and evolving.
So where do you think they evolved? To you when
all of a said and done here on Thursday.

Speaker 7 (06:12):
Yeah, two weeks ago, in my mock draft, I switched
Houston in this slot to taking Will Levis. I'm gonna
stick with that thing, so we're gonna send Levis to
Houston here.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
You know.

Speaker 7 (06:20):
It's interesting, you know, just this morning, on Tuesday morning,
as we record this, a Reddit post changed Will Levis's
odds to go number one overall from plus four thousand
to plus four hundred in literally one hour on the
clock of real time. His name was sale agreeable two
eight three four has become a market influencer in the NFL.
Draft market. I you know, you can't believe that steamer.

(06:42):
I don't believe that steam, but I mean, like all
the steam. With Levis in the top four, that is
something I'm buying.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
All right.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
So there you have it. Anybody can be an influencer. Now,
number three the Arizona Cardinals. Derek Browns relected Will Anderson.
Great kid, great story. That is just an easy way
not to screw up a high pick. You're up next
again for number four, this time the Dannapolis Colts c J.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Stroud. I think he fits what they're looking for.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
And you know, even though maybe they were connected with
Will Levis, I think they're gonna be pleased with him there.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
All right.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Seattle at number five, selected Tyree Wilson, also a very
high defensive player.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Here.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Thor took it five for the Seahawks. At six, Detroit
and Derek Brown took Devin Witherspoon. They're getting some corner help.
At seven, the Las Vegas Raiders are back on the clock.
Pat fitz Morris, we've given out a lot of quarterbacks.
You want to give out another one here?

Speaker 4 (07:31):
Yeah, Anthony Richardson, I think this is a good spot
for them, you know, they're just gonna make Jimmy Garoppolo
a one year patch.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
I think if this is available to.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
Them, and you know, a dynamic dude here, and look,
I mean Richardson, a lot of people make it out
like he is super raw. He doesn't have much game experience,
but I think he's definitely not technically and conceptually unskilled.
And you know, he's pretty advanced actually when it comes
to pocket management and feel general ship. So I think

(08:02):
it's a little overblown that he is this super raw prospect.
He needs some work on his zaccuracy and other things,
but man a perfect ten relative athletics score, dynamic running ability,
like he is an exciting prospect.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
He certainly is all right.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
At eight the Atlanta Falcons, there has been some rumors
lately about maybe a Bijon pick, but Thors says, no
pass rush Lucas van Ness. Then you have Chicago at nine,
Derek Brown goes offensive line, Peter Scarronsky off the board
pat for the Eagles at ten selected Jalen Carter, So
that kind of fell in their lap. This was a
top three talent now falling all the way to ten.

(08:37):
They certainly need some help on the defensive siding eleven,
the Tennessee Titans and Derek Brown select Paris Johnson, so
getting some help there on the line. Then the Houston Texans,
with another pick thor selected Nolan Smith, the freak of
nature on the defensive side at thirteen. Derek Brown, We're
gonna let you out of your cage here for a
second and talk little football. So the Green Bay Packers,
Derek Brown, what do they do with the first of
this new Green Bay Draft.

Speaker 5 (08:59):
Well, I'm gonna give my dude, Christian Watson a run
of mate. We're gonna send Jackson Smith and Jigba the
slot Master, the Mastermind himself to Green Bay. Both the
Jets and the Packers have been kind of connected, at
least in some rumors to Jackson Smith a Jigba. So
this is another master stroke by the Packers just saying, well,
you know, we flip picks with you. You're not gonna get

(09:20):
him because we got him baby. So again, if this happens,
I think that I'm going to be bumping Jordan Love
up in my ranks.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
By I mean, we're he's actually twenty six. Is that
where it's gonna go.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
Probably it's not gonna be a huge jump, Joe. But
the other part about this is, can we just rub
a little bit of salt in the wound? I'm sorry, Pat,
but Rogers leaves. And now the Packers take a first
round wide receiver.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
It's a mortal lock.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
They're gonna take a receiver in the first year without
Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Yes, like that.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
Does seem like it would be pouring a whole canister
of Morton's into the wound.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
All right.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
At fourteen, Pat selected Christian Gonzales corner for the Patriots,
So great pick there for them. The New York Jets
at fifteen, now Pat selected Broderick Jones for them, And
again just a shout out to PFF because we are
using their software for the draft show.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Here. They do a great job with that.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
So as you see the picks unfold, shout out to
them doing some great work at PFF. At number sixteen,
here the Washington Commanders on the clock. Thor selected Joey
Porter Junior, So a little help on the defensive side
there for Washington. At number seventeen, the Pittsburgh Steelers and
Pat select Darnell Wright. Then at eighteen Derek Brown. We're
gonna go back to you here. Detroit's got a few

(10:36):
picks here. They just selected at six. Now they're gonna
pick again here at eighteen.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
What do they do?

Speaker 5 (10:43):
So now with the Jamison Williams suspension coming down, he's
gonna miss the first six games, you're looking at a
depth chart outside of Alman Ross Saint Brown, that's really
unproven as far as pass catchers. So with these starting
tight ends only bringing brock Wright, Shane Zilstra, James Mitchell,
and Derek Deese. Yes, that's a real name, oral NFL player,
We're gonna send Michael Mayer to Detroit. He's gonna be

(11:04):
the three down, all world tight end for the Detroit Lions.
Can help out with their run game as well in
the passing game. Michael Mayer to the Lions.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
All right, So a Mayor to the Lions at eighteen.
At nineteen the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Pats like Miles Murphy.
Then at twenty Seattle, with another one of their mini
picks in the first few rounds of the draft, Thoor
gives them o Cyrus Torrens Thor. That puts you on
the clock again at number twenty one for the Los
Angeles Chargers.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
What do they do wide receiver.

Speaker 7 (11:31):
Yeah, the Chargers have taken Jordan Addison here. They could
use a tight end and they could badly use an
outside receiver. We're just connecting some dots here with the
Chargers in Addison. One of Addison's position coaches from college
coaches on the Chargers' staff now, and Addison was the
only receiver in the consensus top four in this class
that took a visit to the Chargers, one of the
thirty guys they could bring in.

Speaker 6 (11:51):
So just connecting the dots here with that one.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Okay, So connecting the dots and the picture is another
wide receiver for the Chargers. Baltimore twenty two, Pat gave
them Deontay Banks. Then thor your Minnesota Vikings at twenty three,
you're on the clock.

Speaker 7 (12:06):
Yeah, we're gonna take Quintin Johnson for the Vikings. Heire
a guy who would be a really good compliment on
the other side from Justin Jefferson. We've talked all spring
about how the Vikings have to bring in someone on
the other side from Justin Jefferson to disincentivize defenses from
bracketing and double team and Jefferson every single snap Quentin
Johnson would certainly do that. He can pop the top,
so defense would have to make a decision or open

(12:26):
up a whole bunch of intermediate space for TJ.

Speaker 6 (12:28):
Hockinson and the new signing Josh Oliver.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
Twenty four the Jacksonville Jaguars and Derek Brown. So like
Brian Branch, then pat with the Giants. At twenty five,
Manuel Forbes, I'll tell you that twenty five pick if
it seems like every time we do this draft it's
something different. I hope the Giants have a plan, because
nobody seems to know what it might be. At twenty six,
the Dallas Cowboys. Derek Brown, you are up next. What
do the Cowboys do?

Speaker 5 (12:51):
Well, I'm gonna give Dak Prescott another weapon on the outside.
We're gonna send Za Flowers to the Dallas Cowboys. Brandon
Cooks is not getting any younger Gallopus jag. I mean,
come on, this is an easy, easy fit. So you're
gonna give Dak, Ceedee Lamb and Zay Flowers to continue
to toss passes too for the next few seasons, Okay.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
At twenty seven, Derek Brown, you get to pick for
the Buffalo Bills, and there is a big running back
still sitting out there on the board.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Are you gonna you gotta take him? Yeah? He fell
in this draft.

Speaker 5 (13:20):
I don't think that Bjeon Robinson makes it this far
in the draft probably and in the NFL, but he.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Did in this one. Baby. See yeah, let's have some fun.

Speaker 5 (13:27):
B Jon Robinson is going to Buffalo, the big man
in the backfield.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
So bye bye.

Speaker 5 (13:32):
Any hope for Damian Harris and your best ball drafts
right now? James Cook in Dynasty poof, both of their
stocks just got vaporized. B Jeon Robinson would absolutely crush
top three, top five upside in the Buffalo Bills offense.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
I can't disagree.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
And the one thing they need, especially in January in
those playoff games, is they need to run the football
and they have not been able to do that. For
at twenty eight for the Cincinnati Bengals, you are up next.
What do the Bengals do here?

Speaker 7 (13:59):
What is scenario this would be for the Bengals a
team that desperately needs a tight end. Their top two
in their depth charter discards from other team Irv Smith
and Devin Assiassi two bus from other teams that they
didn't want back now, Dalton Kincaid just falls into your
lap easily, the best receiving tight end in this class.
Joe Burrow would run this card in for the Bengals.

(14:19):
We're gonna send the Utah tight end to Cincinnati.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
I love it you all right. It does fall right
in their lap. At twenty eight New Orleans.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
At twenty nine, Brian Brise Derek Brown makes that selection
for the Saints. Then at thirty the Eagles and Pat
select Will McDonald, and then at thirty one the Kansasity
Chiefs wrap things up. Here Thor gives them Anton Harrison.
There's a name we have not seen to the Chiefs yet.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
So there's another fun situation there.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Before we get to the next round here, round number two,
we've got a lot more going on here for you

Good luck, We're all counting on you. Let's get to
the second round here, gentlemen, and let's start at the
top here with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pat. Kelly Ringo
goes next here for the Steelers. Thor at thirty three

(16:09):
selects for the Houston Texas Julius Brents, then Steve Avila
for the Arizona Cardinals. At thirty four, Derek Brown making
that pick. Pat then for the Colts at thirty five
selects Darius Rush. At thirty six the Rams and Thora
select Cody Mock. I'm just so happy that Thor got
to take Cody Mock in this draft the last time,
one more time for good measure. John Michael Schmidz also

(16:30):
goes next at thirty seven to the Seahawks. Really good
value there for John Michael Schmidt. So we've seen go
in the first round of some of these mocks. Las
Vegas raid As. At thirty eight, Pat selects Mazzie Smith
and at thirty nine the Carolina Panthers and Pat again,
Felix on aduque Uzoma goes next. Then at forty the
New Orleans Saints and Derek Brown Adam awiwa Ada Baware.

(16:51):
I love that you put those two names back to
back screen. You will be having a meeting with you
after this show. At forty one, the Tennessee Titans go ahead,
had Derek Brown. You're up next with the pick for
the Titans. They certainly have a lot of holes. What
do they've plug up first?

Speaker 5 (17:05):
So I can honestly say that I chuckled whenever we
were doing this draft, and both of those players I
figured bea show.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
They had a three way a couple of weeks ago
in a row with a few names that it was
just it was just really unfair, so that one wasn't
as bad.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
But here we go.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Let's go. Tennessee Titans are on the clock. Hurry up
before you get skipped.

Speaker 5 (17:25):
Well, this one is an easier pick, easier name to say.
Hennon Hooker is going to go to Tennessee. Tennessee had
a local meeting with Hooker during the draft process. Tannehill
is going to be gone after this season. They didn't
get in on the quarterback rush in the first round,
but with taking Paris Johnson, give him some blocking up there.
Hendon Hooker is going to be the future, both short

(17:47):
and long term for the Tennessee Titans.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Okay, so Hendon Hooker at forty one. At forty two,
it's the Green Bay Packers and Joe Tipman Derek Brown
gives him that pick. Then Derek Brown going on a
spree here, He's got like five picks in a row.
The New York Jets forty three, taking Jack Campbell, one
of Thor's favorite guys. They are the linebackers. Then at
forty four, the Atlanta Falcons are up. Next, Thors selects
Cam Smith for Atlanta at forty four. At forty five,

(18:10):
Pat the Packers are up. What do you give them?

Speaker 4 (18:14):
I gonna give them a tight end since there at
the top of the depth chart right now, they currently
have Josiah Deguara, So we're gonna give them Darnell Washington, who,
you know, some people thought could maybe be a first
rounder after he went in and just broke the combine, like,
you know, moving blocking sleds around like a ups delivery man,
and you know, like amazing sprint speed for a dude

(18:37):
who's like six seven and two seventy. So I think
he comps a little bit to Marcedes Lewis kind of
a blocking tight end first, but like back in the day,
Marcedes Lewis was a useful pass catcher too. I guess
Darnell Washington might be sliding a little bit. There's some
concerns about the medicals with him, maybe an old foot
injury that has some people scared. But I think in

(18:58):
the mid second round, that's some pretty nice value.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
For the packers.

Speaker 1 (19:02):

Fancypros dot com slash Chat and get your draft guide
fantasybros dot com slash Draft Guide. Continuing on with round two,

(19:47):
we have the New England Patriots at forty six, taking
Matthew Berger on at forty seven, author selects Dewan Jones
for the Washington Commanders at forty eighth, the Destroit Lions
and Derek Brown take Elijah Cantsey at forty eight.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
At forty No.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Nine, the Pittsburgh Steelers, with their second pick in this round,
Keanu Benton pat gives them. Then Tampa at fifty selects
DJ Turner at fifty one, Derek Brown. You have the
Miami Dolphins on the clock. So what do the Dolphins do?

Speaker 5 (20:15):
Some people could be sad that this name has slid
down the board, but this is a heavenly fit for
Jamir Gibbs. Jamiir Gibbs is going ahead to South Beach.
Rahiem Moster and Lajefe are on puffed up one year deals.
So while this backfield might look money and worrisome, Jamir
Gibbs could be a great value this year. I know
I've talked about, you know, size concerns with him, but

(20:37):
the long speed the pass game chops are absolutely there.
Tua could check down to him for days. He could
be the bell cow in this backfield, or at least
the sixty five percent guy for the snaps. This would
give him an amazing floor and ceiling and fantasy, and
it's an awesome fit.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
For his running style.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
If this happens and Toua plays the entire season healthy,
this guy's gonna fish as an RB one, just absolutely
right now. The way that offense is built, he had
built for a guy like this. Next up here, fifty
two thor is the Seattle Seahawks with one of many picks.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
So what are you gonna give him this time around?

Speaker 7 (21:12):
Yeah, the Seahawks. We plugged a lot of the other
holes with the other picks. They still need another wide
receiver to complement DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

Speaker 6 (21:20):
A couple of years ago, they.

Speaker 7 (21:22):
Shot a shot around here on Dwayne Eskridge and done,
look like that thing's gonna work out. So they're gonna
fire another ball in that direction and take Jalen Hyatt
the Tennessee Speeds there, who I'm a little bit lower
on for contextual reasons I won't get into right now.
But he is going to go in the second round
on Friday night, so Seattle would be a good fit
for him.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
Do premium subscribers get access to your contextual issues?

Speaker 6 (21:43):
They do, absolutely, Okay, I just.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Want to know if it happens here.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
All right, let's move on here to the next one
of fifty three the Chicago Bears and Derek Brown select
key On White, then thor up next again at fifty
four for the Los Angeles Chargers.

Speaker 7 (21:57):
Yeah, the Chargers might be sniffing around a running back
on day too if they don't feel good about the
Austin Eckler situation, and so Zach Sharburney here would be
an awesome fit. I think for La they keep him
in town. He's just gonna move over a little bit
from Westwood or whatever. And if Austin Eckler ends up
getting trader, he is your day one Bellcow next year
that you can give heavy usage to.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
Love that all right?

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Detroit to fifty five, Derek Brown select Drew Sanders and
at fifty six the Jags and Derek Brown select Clark Phillips.
At fifty seven, Pat, what do the Giants do here?

Speaker 4 (22:29):
Well, they've got a bunch of smaller slot receivers Sterling Shepherd,
Paris Campbell, Jamison Crowder, a bunch of garden Gnome sized
dudes on the outside. The starters right now are projected
to be Isaiah Hodgens and Darius Slayton. They could use
another outside receiver, so I'm gonna give them Jalen Hyatt's
college teammates Cedric Tillman six to three, big play guy.

(22:53):
I think he has had let's see, sixteen catches that
went for twenty five or more yards over the last
two seasons, and some people think he's a better prospect
than Hyatt, and I would include myself in that group.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Yeah, there's a lot of bus around Cedric Tillman right now.
I've heard a lot of teams that are in on
him and think that he might be a good impact
wide receiver at the NFL level. At fifty eight, the
Dallas Cowboys and Derek Brown select Trenton Simpson. Good value there.
At fifty nine, the Buffalo Bills take Gervin Dexter.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
There's a name. Now.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
We finally got on the board here. We haven't talked
about too much. At sixty, the Cincinnati Bengals and thor
select Isaiah Foski, and then here we go. At sixty one,
Chicago takes tu Ley Tully Pluto. Then at sixty two,
the Philadelphia Eagles select Antonio Johnson. To finish out round two,
the Kansas City Chiefs and Thor selects Derek Hall. So
there you go. That is round two of our final

(23:46):
mock draft. But we've got so much more because we've
got round three right here, the Chicago Bears sixty four
Derek Brown.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Start us off, right, what do you got?

Speaker 5 (23:55):
So I think this draft has unfolded quite similar to
the way that I think the NFL Draft is gonna unfold.
A lot of skill guys getting pushed down the board
by corners, offensive lineman, edge, all these other type of
defensive positions. But this first pick of the third round,
I'm gonna go with a guy. And this is talking
about where I think the team could go, not necessarily

(24:16):
where I would go a player I've been lower on,
but consensus and people love him as Jonathan Mingo. And
this is not me hating on Jonathan Mingo, but he
also fits the way that the Bears draft. He is athletic,
as I'll get out. He tested out of the gym.
We're talking about a guy that was six one two twenty.
He had sixty two percentile forty eighty nine percentile vertical jump.

(24:39):
So I think that he is gonna fit be able
to play the outside off of this team some depth
because we know that Chase Claypool could be moving on,
They could be shifting around pieces, and Mingo could be
a starter for them, if not this coming season, definitely
walking into twenty twenty.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
Four, Chase Claypool moving on, then they just get him.
Then they just give up a ridiculous draft capital for him.
That's a show for another time. At five, the Houston
Texans and Thorist lets bj Ojalai. Then at sixty six,
the Arizona Cardinals and Derek Brown select Jordan Battle Denver
at sixty seven, Pack gives yah Ya Diabi, and then
at sixty eight the Denver Broncos on the clock again,

(25:16):
this time pat with the back to back.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
Where do they do? At sixty eight.

Speaker 4 (25:20):
They take lightning fast von Ah Chain of Texas A
and M who is a nice compliment to Javonte Williams
and samaj p Ryn. I think he gives them a
little bit something different in that backfield, and you know,
if Davante is not ready to handle substantial workload after
his torn acel last year, a change could certainly pitch in.

(25:41):
I don't think he's ever going to be a heavy
duty runner, but man, this dude is just electric. Like
he ran a four point three two at the combine.
I was actually a little disappointed. I thought it was
going to be a four to two something, and you know,
like he's for a smaller back, like he is really
tough actually, and Texas a and m used him more

(26:02):
in between the tackles and was probably wise.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
But he can do it.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
Man, He's got good contact balance and you're also going
to get an explosive kick returner here, So Denver, I
think would be pretty lucky to get Devon hen In
the third.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
Derek Brown, who do the Rams take?

Speaker 5 (26:18):
At sixty nine, We're staring at a depth chart that
not only does not have a backup quarterback, does not
have a long snapper, kickers, any of that stuff. The
Rams do address the need in this one, considering when
you're looking at the starting tree of their wide receivers. Okay,
it's Cooper cup Ben Jefferson not too great, But then
you're looking at Ben Skearnsky or too two at well. Ugh, no, No,

(26:38):
We're gonna get Marvin Mims to start on the outside.
He could stretch the field, broke out in an early
age ninety six percentile college breakout age, and two of
his last three seasons he's been top twenty four in
yards per route run. I think he could be a
sleeper in the year's draft class and could be a
starter week one.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
For the Rams.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
Tyreek Stevenson goes next at seventy Pack gives the Raider Stevenson,
then at seventy one debro back to you for the
New Orleans Saints.

Speaker 5 (27:02):
This man is not gonna leave Louisiana. No way it's
gonna happen. Man, he's gonna he went to Tulane, He's
gonna stay in New Orleans. Let's give Taj Spears to
my Saints. Kamara's suspension is still hanging in the wind.
We don't know how long he's gonna be out. They
could cut him as early as next season save about
two milli against the cap. Taj Spears would be a
fantastic compliment in this backfield to Jamal Williams, who's on

(27:23):
a good two year deal. So you're looking at that
could be the tandem moving forward for New Orleans.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
Staying with Derek Brown for the seventy second pick the
Tennessee Titans.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
Titans need some receivers like side of Trail one, Burks
and Chig. There's nobody. I mean, we're not talking about
Nick Westbrookakine, No, Kyle Phillips. I'm sorry, dynasty hopefuls. He's
not gonna be a thing. Let's send Josh Downs to Tennessee.
I think we could see a little bit more eleven
personnel under new OC Tim Kelly. If that happens, Josh
Downs could be a fantastic target earner in year one.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
Thor who could be fantastic for the Texans at seventy three.

Speaker 7 (28:02):
Well, we know that the Texans the pass catching options,
but in this draft class itself, the receiver class is
not very good, and in this exercise specifically, one of
the best receiving tight ends, in fact, the guy that
I think is the second best pure receiver in this
tight end class has fallen down to Houston. We're gonna
send them Sammy bog Game, Sam Laporta, the tight end
from Iowa, who, like I think he's going to go

(28:24):
in the second round, and there's been a lot of
steam around that. Peter Scheger reported yesterday on NFL Network
that a lot of teams have Sam Laporta above Darnell
Washington on their board. So I think people are going
to be surprised out there how high Laporta goes. But
if you were to fall down to Houston here, you
can play him with Dalton Schultz. I mean, certainly the
Texans don't have like the slot receiver spot ear Mark

(28:44):
because of how little the talent they have in the
receiver room, So they could play a lot of twelve
personnel here. Coaching staff coming over from San Francisco, They're
used to having those bigger guys out there, be more multiple.

Speaker 6 (28:53):
As an offense. This one would make a lot of sense.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
Then at seventy four, the Cleveland Brown select siaki Ika,
followed by it's seventy five the Atlanta Falcons and Thor
taking Sidney Brown New England Patriots at seventy six, Pack
gives them Nick Herbig and then Derek Brown with the
Rams for pick number seventy seven.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Back to you.

Speaker 5 (29:12):
Okay, I know people are gonna hate this pick, but
it makes a lot of sense. Kendre Miller could be
head into Los Angeles and this is not I'm thinking like,
this is not cam Akers shade. But cam Akers is
an unrestricted free agent after this year. So is this
a team that, with the way that their books are
right now, wants to throw a contract at cam Akers
after the season, even if he goes and balls out.
I doubt that happens. So this is a team already

(29:34):
looking towards next year. Plus, guys, we're looking at a
depth chart behind the acres. You got what Kyra and
Williams Ronnie Rivers. No, you can't depend on those guys
for anything. So yes, Kendre Miller to the Rams.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
At seventy eighth the Packers and Pat fitz Morris selects
Jamie Robinson. Then back to pad again for number seventy
nine in the Indianapolis Colts. Now on the clock again.

Speaker 4 (29:55):
Let's give the Colts a receiver here. Let's give them
Rashi Rice of Sai. You downfield playmaker. He had eighteen
catches last season on balls that traveled twenty or more
air yards. Really really good at contested catches and winning
balls in the air.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
So I like Rishie Rice as a fit for the Colts.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Okay, Next with Pittsburgh Steelers at eighty Pat selects Henry
two O two, then Debro at eighty one, another pick
for the Detroit Lions.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
D what do they take this time?

Speaker 5 (30:27):
Receiver? Help Man gonna give ay T Perry. He's an
ex receiver. He could play the outside. Jamison Williamson's Jamison
Williams gonna miss some time. But even outside of that,
they need to add wide receivers to this offense. I
mean past Alman Rossaint Brown and Jamison Williams. The depth
chart was thinned anyway. At Perry could play inside, he
could play outside. He's gonna be a good fit for
what the Lions want to do.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
At eighty two, Pat gives the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tyler
Steen and the edge rusher Byron Young Thor gives to
the Seattle Seahawks eighty three. That puts the Miami Dolphins
on the clock. Derek Brown, that's you with pick.

Speaker 5 (30:59):
Number continuing to add to this offense. Baby, we're gonna
send Tucker Craft. I think was one of the best
value tight ends in this draft. My confriums Dallas godd
Or he could block. He could be a fantastic asset
in the passing game. The dude is built like a
brick house. He can break tackles. I would love this

(31:19):
fit for Tucker Craft going to South Beach.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
So many tight ends in this draft and eighty five
the Chargers are up next.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
Four. What do they do here with the Chargers?

Speaker 7 (31:28):
You know the last pick, I'm sorry, the first pick
we had given them, Jordan Addison. They still need that
tight end. The offensive coordinator that they brought in, Kellen Moore,
likes to do the multiple tight end thing. They need
at least one more to get that idea off the ground.
Luke Musgrave is a guy that we know that the
NFL likes more than the media. A little bit lower
on my rankings, a little bit lower on Deebro's rankings,
But if he were to get into the third round,

(31:50):
I think this would be a pretty easy decision for
Los Angeles. You've gone from having a bad receiving corps
and a tight end room that needs another body to
addressing both both those issues.

Speaker 6 (32:00):
Who's on Thursday Friday Night?

Speaker 1 (32:01):
At eighty six, the Baltimore Ravens are up next, Pat,
What do you want to give them.

Speaker 4 (32:05):
I want to give them, even though they just signed
Odell Beckham, I want to give them another LSU wide receiver.
Let's give them Kaishawn Booty and man, this guy is
highly polarizing, but he was electric when he first got
to baton Rouge. You know, in his freshman year, his
last game was a three hundred and eight yard performance

(32:27):
against Ole Miss and man like, I just think that
if the Ravens get that early version of Kaishan Booty like,
he could be a steal in the third round and
he could possibly slide to Day three in this draft.
But I think he's worth like a middle round three pick.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
I'm just excited that we got to hear Pat say
Booty on the show twice. Eighty seven the Minnesota Vikings
and four select Zach Pickens, then back to Derek Brown
for pick number eighty eight the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
Debro, you're on the clock.

Speaker 5 (33:00):
Give us some backfield help.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
We got ja.

Speaker 5 (33:01):
Michael Hasty Deannis Johnson are really the guys behind Travis Etn.
I don't think that either one of them are the
long term answer to helping this backfield. I'm gonna give
them Dwayne McBride. Maybride is a guy that I think
could easily go in the third round of the NFL Draft.
He pops on so many different things and past game
is not one of those, but tackle breaking. This guy
has been top twelve in yards off to contact per

(33:22):
attempt breakaway run rate in PFF elucidbrating in each of
the last two seasons. This might scare people in Dynasty
with Travis Etn or even Redraft. I don't think that
really pushes the needle down for Travis ETM. But definitely
a talented player for Jacksonville, and if anything happened to Etn,
Duay Maybride could become one of these premium handcuffs that

(33:43):
we're drafting. Cut walking into Redraft season.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
Pat up next at eighty nine for the Giants. He
gave them Luke Wipler, then Derek Brown. Back to you
again for pick number ninety and that's the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 5 (33:54):
We keep talking about the Dallas Cowboys possibly adding size
to this backfield. Tony Poward is on a one year deal.
I'm gonna give them the guy that has size. He
is gonna get out of the shadow of Bijon Robinson,
staying in Texan, Texas baby Roshan Johnson is heading to
the Cowboys, the early down compliment to Tony Pollard. It
could be the full time bell cow walking into his

(34:17):
second season.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
That's fun.

Speaker 1 (34:19):
You don't get Bijan early, but you do get Roshaw
on the third round. Interesting value there.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Buffalo. Bill's at ninety one, de Bro, that's you again.

Speaker 5 (34:26):
We're gonna go with one of Thor's must have loveless guys.
We're gonna talk about it, and I look, I'm not
gonna say that I wasn't swayed watching this guy get
open at will in Mobile.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
We're gonna get him.

Speaker 5 (34:37):
Tank Dell a guy that can play the outside, play
the inside. He can also stretch the field. He was
eleventh and pass rating when targeted twenty plus yards down
the field in twenty twenty two. This is the guy
that can get open all parts of quadrants. He's a
triple threat. I would love this fit. Tank Dell going
to Buffalo.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Garrett Williams at ninety two goes to the Bengals via
Thor and then at ninety three the Carolina Panthers and
Pat fitz Morris are back on the clib.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
All right, these guys like Tank Dell, I prefer a
different small speed receiver. The Colts need some receiving help.
Let's give them Tyler Scott. And man, this dude can fly,
so I think he's sort of the compliment they need.
I don't know how much they're going to get out
of Adam Thielen Terres Marshall is still sort of a
question mark. They need some additional help on the outside.

(35:21):
And you know, Tyler Scott, I think was basically playing
X receiver for Cincinnati last year.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
All right, that puts you back again on the clock
at ninety four.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
For the Philadelphia Eagles.

Speaker 3 (35:30):
Pat Tank Bigsby.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
They do need running back help with you know, they
didn't get Bijon Robinson, they didn't get Jamiir Gibbs, so
they need to add someone behind Kenneth Gainwell and the
oft injured Rashad Penny. So let's give them Tank Bigsby,
who is in fact a tank. He led Auburn in
rushing all three of his seasons there. I think he
would make a nice fit with the Eagles.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
All right, Thor you're up next for Israel.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
About a Konda, I wanted to say it for you,
just in case for the camp appreciate You're.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
Welcome, So go ahead, let's talk about is he yeah?

Speaker 7 (36:03):
I think that the Chiefs could be looking in the
middle rounds be looking for a complimentary back for their
fine at the very end of the seventh round last year,
Isaia Pacheco Abana Kanda would make a lot of sense
as the platoon guy for that. We know the Chiefs
like their explosive running backs, and few tested more explosive
at at an over threshold size than a bon Conda
two hundred and sixteen pounds. He weighed during the pre

(36:25):
draft process ends up putting up a nine to six
three rass. He had to defer those tests to his
prote but lit it up once he got on the
track four four, five forty. Both of his jumps were
ninety six percent. Tyler above would make a lot of
sense and fit with the Chiefs.

Speaker 6 (36:38):
Ethos.

Speaker 1 (36:39):
Okay, let's go to number ninety six here on the
Arizona Cardinals, Derek Brown, the pick is yours.

Speaker 5 (36:45):
So this is kind of up in the air right now.
I'm going to give them Sean Tucker. I know he's
got some health concerns sitting out of the wind but
he's also got work out coming up before the NFL Draft.
If he blows that out, I think that he could
end up in the third round. In this James Kahn
can be cut next year, say five point four million
against the Cap. Sean Tucker could be their early down

(37:05):
guy walking into next season.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
At ninety seven, the Washington Commanders and Thor select De
Marveon Overshown. Then Thor again with the Cleveland Browns at
ninety eight, selects Jalen duncan Zach Harrison goes next at
ninety nine to the San Francisco forty nine Ers via Pat.
Who's gonna close out this draft? All Pat picks here,
let's go so Then at one hundred Las Vegas, Pat
gives them Blake Freeland.

Speaker 2 (37:27):
Then at one oh one.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
San Francisco, one of two picks in a row here
they take Cameron Mitchell. So Pat, you've got Harrison, You've
got Mitchell to the forty nine ers. Close us out
one oh two the last pick of round three, which
also belongs to the forty nine ers.

Speaker 4 (37:41):
Let's give the forty nine ers a receiver to finish
things up. Let's give them Jaden Reid of Michigan States.
Versatile can play multiple wide receiver spots as well as
providing some help on return duty both kicks and punts.

Speaker 3 (37:55):
So that wraps round three.

Speaker 1 (37:58):
There it is. That's three rounds of the mock draft.
I'm sure every single one of these picks that we've
given will be exactly one hundred percent correct on Thursday
and Friday. I have zero concerns about that whatsoever, but
hopefully some of them will be, I'm sure more than most.
And regardless, it's going to be a really fun NFL draft.
It always is. It's always live. In the last couple

(38:20):
of years, he's seen a lot of movement. My goodes
is last year Friday Night night too, I could not
