As a kid, after seeing a Rocky movie I believed I could take on the world.

As we age, people, disappointments and normal life challenges make it harder to stay motivated and believe in a bright future.

We search for inspiration in the success of others but rarely look toward a 17-yr. old to inspire us.

While competing in a marathon in 2017 my guest 17-year-old Ariana Luterman – www.teamariana.org- intentionally stopped just short of the finish line to help her opponent by nudging her ahead to win the race.

Ariana's story is sure to help restore faith in humanity while inspiring you to care for yourself and others just a little more.

Ariana's Dallas teen-does-good story seized the attention of the Fox 4, CBS News, the Today show, and several other national programs.

My hope is that you gain your own inspiration, motivation, and humility by learning from someone who, while lacks in age, wisdom, and experience, does not lack support for another.

Would you trust a 17-yr. old to help restore your faith in humanity and get that spark back you once had to succeed?

Ariana's message doesn't stop here. She also has certain traits she's adopted and a message for parents who desire respectful, hardworking, loving, self-sufficient children.

We discuss her motivation for exercise and her dedication to change the lives of homeless children.

Ariana said, "People have become increasingly disconnected from their own lives- parents have become too busy for their own children, and kids do not understand the meaning of a tight-knit family unit (i.e. make your family a priority!"

She also addresses:

  • In Ariana's words, "What's wrong with people my age?"
  • Kids are comparative of themselves and other people, instead of simply finding the joy in their own lives
  • Do kids your age know how to communicate what they feel? How do you see texting and the diluted the written word?
