"The only way you can guarantee failure is to quit. But you, sister? You are a Girl Out of Order. You are not a quitter. The world needs what only you can provide."
I cannot believe we are closing in on 100 episodes of Girl Out of Order! This journey has been nothing short of incredible, and as I reflect on the past few years, I’ve been feeling all the feels—nostalgia, gratitude, and a deep sense of purpose. But I’ve also been stuck in a bit of a creative rut, wondering what I wanted to talk about next. And then, it hit me.
Inspired by Oprah Winfrey’s book What I Know for Sure, I’m kicking off a special three-part series where I dive deep into the lessons I’ve learned on this wild ride of creating Girl Out of Order. And in today’s episode, I start with the biggest truth I’ve uncovered: the only way you can fail is to quit. Whether it's a podcast, a marriage, a business, or a dream that feels impossible—when self-doubt creeps in and you feel like throwing in the towel, that’s when you need to reconnect with your why. This episode is for every woman who has ever felt exhausted, discouraged, or on the verge of giving up. So if you need a reminder that your mission matters, hit play now, because sister, I promise—you're not alone.

Ruthie's Table 4
For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
