(00:00):
But then she would do this thing it was really interesting the technology is amazing so she would go she would find a position and that she would hit a button and go and then all of a sudden on the screen it would render a three-dimensional image and We got a couple really cute if I can I will if I'm allowed I'll check with Kelly I'll include one so you can see really like a cute.

(00:23):
You can see her face Wow.
It's really cool This is the gray hair and daycare podcast with a combined age of 111 years and a combined IQ right in that same range your hosts Frank Cereo and Carlo Russo Welcome back here.

(00:53):
We are and it is are we gonna do the hand thing again?
Like we did last time episode 10 Like that we did it so we spontaneously did it like almost like synchronized swimmers Sync so 10 we have made it we say it all time We have made it we made it to episode 10 and also to the last day of 2024 this might be this could be the end of season 1 for us We could like Wow season already had a season say we're already into season 2.

(01:30):
We've been renewed I heard it's a season picked up for season 2 Well, I hope you guys enjoyed season 1.
It was wonderful for us.
It was happy New Year's.
Well, yeah, happy New Year's So this will be out there on New Year's Eve.
So hopefully everybody's having very safe and fun stupid what they say a lot of stupid people out a lot of I know not stupid you a lot of What's the word first-timers?

(01:57):
What's the word?
I'm looking for novices novices driving and drinking as you know, yes, you know, they just maybe turn 21 and they're celebrating Out at the bars.
So watch out when you're driving.
You gotta be very cheap.
That's right, or I
We the last few years we were kind of hit and miss on what if we do anything if it's just stay at home

(02:20):
But we would do the hotel yes and just you or go to the casino and you're there
You don't have to worry you got a hotel room
You can say I did that for a long time at the room
You have the dinner usually with the hotel they give you the champagne
Yeah, they give you the food and you can dance and then when you're ready to go to sleep, you'll go to sleep
Nobody's driving around.

(02:41):
Yeah, hopefully you guys are doing that.
But yeah, so hopefully a happy early.
Happy New Year Yes, so as always I am Frank cereal.
I am 55 years old and my wife is 27 weeks pregnant.
Yes, so we have the the the produce update As we usually do size I was talking to my brother he called Which again made comments about how my brother doesn't watch he recommended several He told me he's been spending time.

(03:14):
There is an audio book about Anthony Fauci It was 26 hours.
He got through that
26 hours on Anthony Fauci in an audio book
But clearly has not heard anything since the spaghetti squash for us, which would have been like episode 5
Yeah, so but he did say why is it always pro I'm like, I don't know because it's a common

(03:39):
But he knows it's always produce I guess well, he's listening I don't but he said spaghetti squash he didn't say cauliflower
Didn't say a leak
Scallion scallion, so I'm guessing no based on what he was telling me.
He's been listening to and reading.
There's no way, right?
He's been very busy has been taking up all his time.

(04:00):
Oh gee Anthony Fauci far more important All right, my older brother be better do better Mike.
That's it.
So the actual update is Large eggplant.
Oh, I do love it I love I say it all the time.
They love these things, but the egg.
Yeah There's a little there's a little there's a place supported by Antonio.

(04:23):
Do you ever get order from them?
Supported by Antonio.
Yes, so remember Antonio's downtown.
Sure.
Well that family they have a little restaurant they do take out and So that Antonio's is they have a pizza with eggplant slices of eggplant it is fantastic Absolutely fantastic.

(04:44):
All right.
Well, we know where to celebrate our 100th 11th Season two, that's right.
We're gonna have a wrap.
We have to have a wrap party for season one Eggplant pizza, that's it.
So the size of a large eggplant.
Mm-hmm Her eyesight is continuing to develop so good.

(05:05):
She can blink And interestingly her taste buds have developed really so I don't know what she's tasting The taste buds have developed that's awesome So yeah, we're getting we're getting close there buddy, and we'll talk more about it later But got so we were we had a doctor's appointment.

(05:25):
So we got other Updates, so we'll be a talk later later in this giving you a little bit I just a little teaser teaser taste buds eggplant and more to come So so that is that is the produce update Yeah There's something there.

(05:47):
All right.
That's awesome.
Okay, that's fine.
Awesome.
So this has become again Pretty much every episode as we predicted it would we're gonna move right into I was wrong Little bit different though, but do you have any we've had a lot of there was a lot of controversy Uh-huh.

(06:09):
Is there anything you would like to add thinking back through?
And I was episodes anything you'd like to add as far as and I was wrong I'm sure it was wrong.
And the funny thing is Trina will come up to me and say this week you talked about this that and the other and you were right, but So what's kind of wrong?

(06:33):
It was kind of like I see it one way Yeah, and they see it even though we go to the same spot.
That's a story.
So I don't know about being wrong but there's ways that maybe I because she also says when we bring up something she goes I listen to see if you're going to Make up a story like, you know, make up make it more than it is Yes, if you're going to embellish, right, are you gonna stick to the facts?

(06:59):
Because you've been pretty good.
You've been okay.
You've been pretty good.
You have to embellish sometimes Podcast and you get some humor a little bit out of it.
I don't think we've really I don't think we really have to know I always say it like real life is interesting enough.
Yeah, you don't really have to but so it's I wanted to give you that opportunity because I'm still taking my win there Well there so there is there is some feedback from your lovely wife and mine Oh, my wife has not something to say about it now.

(07:32):
Oh, yes.
Okay, so she commented on Facebook.
Okay regarding the the name Madeline Okay, you did not you did not just shoot it down.
Oh god.
What did I you shot it down twice?
She said Stick with it.
So so you get for both your boys You didn't know until they were born whether it was a boy or a girl, correct?

(07:56):
So she tried for Madeline twice And you shut it down now that and this is the And this is so bad.
She's so twice poor Trina tries for Madeline shot down then she also makes a point that That You said in one of the episodes that you thought Madeline sounds like an old lady name.

(08:19):
Absolutely yet yet Your choice was Graziella.
I never wanted that.
She's now okay I went the family route that I never wanted you didn't want.
Okay She said that you you're you want to go out and she did say it was your grandmother's name, right?
Okay, but you didn't really want I know I just stuck with my that that whole tradition we talked about yeah in episode Whatever six I never was sold on it.

(08:47):
But I I thought if we did have a girl.
Yeah, and what?
non-traditional Madeline was not gonna be the one that wasn't gonna be the one.
No, you know, but but okay, I I'm gonna go back on this.
Maybe I was wrong.
Okay, okay Because if I knew that Madeline Could and was sometimes called Maddie, right?

(09:13):
I'd have been sold Really?
Yeah, because not there's a Maddie.
That's this could change things.
There's a Maddie that's in my it's in our lives Now there could be a little there could be a little sister.
I look in the I love the name Maddie
so if I if I was reminded of that or
Or told if somebody had brought that up somebody have brought that up back this means it's really it's really Trina's fault

(09:35):
You got a pitch all of the advantages of the name exactly you can't miss on Maddie
So Maddie, so that I would have you would have went for it, even though it didn't matter
Even though didn't matter because we had two boys
Yeah
But at least I would have sounded like a jackass right said I don't want anything to do with that name nothing

(09:57):
so now
What I thought was interesting was I was reviewing this and I'm not sure if there's a grudge
If there's something going on now, but my lovely wife as I was reviewing
Trina's I was wrong that I was gonna be bringing up.
She pointed out that Trina mentioned to her That there was another Carlo was wrong in Is this what's going on today?

(10:22):
I think you might be attacked.
I don't Know I come over here with with good intentions This is the kind of gotcha journalism.
I have wanted to do for so long.
I have you that's it I don't leave my wife, but your wife we talked about having a go-bag and you're like, I don't think we had a go-bag and Trina says she said I have a do I have a guy we had a go-bag.

(10:45):
I had it We were ready to go so apparently but that was Kelly bringing that to me Trina did not bring that you are correct Okay, when I got home, she did say you're kind of wrong.
Okay, we kind of had a go-bag Yeah, but I kind of put it together wasn't something that I don't think we got together ourselves Maybe I'm wrong there, too.

(11:06):
Who knows it's 23 and 18 years one of our wives will point it out Oh, absolutely if you were wrong, absolutely So this is my favorite episode of I was wrong because you I wasn't wrong You're not it was all I even asked I like so was there anything this way?
She's like no I honestly think that your wife wants to be a lawyer She's finding things I will say This is one of the and I like it.

(11:34):
This is one of the things about my lovely wife that I learned very early on as She is No matter what the subject is no matter what it is You could bring up something that neither of us know anything about okay, right Tell us about the best What it tells about the best restaurants in Tbilisi Right.

(11:59):
Yeah, and and she'll be like, well, you know, I mean she she she always she will always
Put something out there and his information she and but she and she has she's she's brilliant
Like she knows all kinds of stuff, but she also will always take the counterpoint
She it's like she went to like she must have like been in a debate

(12:19):
Always to the point where sometimes like years in to our relationship at one point I remember saying to her just once I
want you to say
You're right.
Just just like don't Don't argue.
Don't take the other side because half the time she doesn't even mean it but it's just her conversation style It's very interesting.

(12:40):
So she could but so so in short she could I think she could be she could be a good lawyer She could be a great lawyer So, yes Kelly and Trina you're both right.
I was wrong about the go bag.
I guess we had a go bag Go back.
Of course, we probably had a go bag.
I don't know why I said no I mean, yeah, you must have had you know I thought I said no and we didn't because our first was two in a week's almost three weeks So I thought oh, maybe not ready for it, but Trina told me.

(13:07):
Oh, no, we had one.
We had one So well, there you go.
So that was the I was wrong It was wrong, so wait a minute, okay, I had one week of celebrating my My win and now it's like down with Carlo he will never be right again I feel like there might be a grudge.

(13:30):
I'm not sure what I don't support it.
It might be because you asked her to write me a letter A Note I can handle be cute flowers Yeah, I love you Kelly Trina, I love you as well.
That's we we love them both.
We love them both.

(13:50):
So
That's I was wrong and we're gonna move into another perennial favorite the silver Fox mailbox
so
This is very interesting
So one of the things that I have learned and doing the the podcast is I have this one
service that is

(14:10):
Like syndication for podcasts you upload the podcast and it sends it out to Apple and Spotify
It's not the work and and then and then it basically aggregates all of that information
So you can see how many
Downloads you have for each episode and you can see where they're happening
So that's how I know my brother doesn't watch because I can look and see Oh, Tennessee is still at four

(14:34):
Four downloads and we know who the four.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's it So but so you can see it then we have several from all over strange parts of the world, Ghana Really?
Yep, the Russia Okay, like there's Vietnam like you know, I'm like interesting little like just one or two fine There has consistently been I believe we have a fan who is consistently listening to the podcast in France Okay, because it has since the beginning Every week one more download.

(15:08):
Okay, so it's only one It's like one person one and we don't know could be an expat could be a somebody who's trying to learn English, right?
But I thought it's nice and it's nice to see there's a country that's cool And somebody is out there in France who listens to the podcast pretty much every week like my brother So I wanted to say so I have a message.

(15:29):
I'm gonna try very hard to pronounce this.
Correct?
Oh, this is fun.
So No, no, seven par give us that menu was a more Mercy they were trickled Which means I'll have the chicken Yes, I would like the cheapest wine you have It basically means I don't know who you are, but we love you and thank you for listening We do so whoever you are.

(15:55):
I hope I didn't slot if you sounded great.
It French is yeah, I wrote it out phonetically To speak or understand what you said, but it sounded like you knew what you're saying That was that that reminds me of the last time I had to do anything like that with French.
I Have an occasion for family members close family members saying at people's weddings, right?

(16:17):
so I sang in a couple of my nieces weddings my sister got married and My my brother-in-law is French Moroccan speaks multiple languages but so I offered that I would sing at their ceremony really and thinking I would sing in English and I suggest I Suggested like the Louis Armstrong version of a song that is a French song.

(16:45):
Love you on Rose Okay, and My sister's immediate reaction was you can do it in French.
No, I can't so now I yeah So I had to learn I had to get them to I was like, okay Really?
I'm not gonna learn French, right?
So they wrote out the whole song Wow It phonetically in French and I learned I learned the song in front me.

(17:07):
I don't I don't remember it.
I can't speak English That was it.
But that was a challenge.
That was the first time I had to perform it on language I had no idea what I was saying Although they listened several times My sister my sister she speaks French very well Wow, but yeah, so that was fun But anyway, so that was great.

(17:33):
So whoever you are in France, we like we we love you Imagine I imagine Awesome, so there's so the rest of the silver Fox mailbox.
We've had lots we get a lot.
Okay.
I'm sorry, but Are you gonna speak Vietnamese to the?

(17:58):
Only one download in Vietnam Said I'm done with this any of these countries you get up to you get up for you're learning their language of four or more I'll be Ghana.
I'll be Swahili whatever it takes Yeah, it'll be fun, okay, so no moving on so on YouTube we got some different comments on YouTube from from listeners Sharon comment on the last episode.

(18:23):
She enjoyed the lullaby and it talked about beautiful She talked about her dad played guitar her uncle's a professional guitarist and But her dad would play piano and guitar and sing sing for them and with them Very nice on Facebook Christine mentioned something that I did not I know this stuff as Struffoli Struffoli, but you will know it I think as being a lot of in your lotta.

(18:56):
Okay, so that's the yeah so apparently the Sicilian the Sicilian is being a lot of and the Napolitan is as the Struffoli so I've made that but she She was nuggets, yeah, she was responding to I We had put out a Facebook post about like what are the things you did with your kid?
Yeah, it was time and she mentioned that but I'd never I'd never heard it called that I've made Struffoli, but it's so it's so messy with the honey, but it is good Yes, that was a traditional plate.

(19:30):
We had to have on the dessert table Really yeah, my always shout out to my cousin Dora she made them and every year within my in Josephine Josie she made him as well And we look forward to it all the time because you have your cup of coffee You just you grab one little nugget get that little one a time, but then you're sticky.
You're sticky all day.
Yeah But they are good.

(19:52):
Yes, they are good in your lot.
Yeah, so that's how pretty you know So that was from Christine.
Thank you Christine.
Yes, and then we had lots of different lots of different listeners with Merry-christmas messages and things like that Katuna among them.
So thank you for keep it coming Yeah, absolutely the more of that stuff the better and certainly any ideas you have For us to talk about subjects things with your kiddos very interested to hear a lot of ways to get a hold of us Yeah, social medias are Gmail accounts, which you'll get all that.

(20:24):
Yeah, I have never I've had to learn I never had Instagram So now I have Instagram.
It's exciting.
It's dramatic and now I've learned tick tock So the government's gonna cancel it Yeah, although it seems like Trump likes tick-tock.
So he's like Maybe maybe I'll stick around But yeah, so we're we're on tick-tock run on X or on Instagram or on Facebook.

(20:47):
Yeah everywhere, baby We are all over the place all over the place overexposed Well season 2 is coming so season 2 we got picked up season 2 We're very excited.
So The next thing we're gonna move into we haven't done this one in four weeks not a huge update, okay But I thought it's been a month.

(21:07):
Okay, so we're gonna go to Check, please So if you recall the last time we did this I was wrong Yeah, so but we were at $1,077 and 98 cents.
Okay one month ago So whereas as because I enjoy the guessing game so much you can ask a couple questions if you want Kelly will count Now I Skewed with this because every day like I say when I come over I'm gonna say Set that aside most of what you see in there is Christmas.

(21:44):
In fact, really there has been only one Area where we have invested.
Okay, and when it comes to this, I'm gonna ask questions First question first question was there furniture purchased in that four weeks?
No, no furniture No furniture.
Mm-hmm.
No, no furniture.
No furniture and Second question.

(22:06):
I'll give myself two questions Okay, I can do this in two questions.
I can do this like name that Name that price that list was there toys No, these are neither toys or furniture.
No toys.
We're talking about maybe Now I'm just talking myself.
Sure clothes I'm gonna say I'm gonna say the new total is let me look at the old total.

(22:34):
So I don't 10 77 98 10 so just under 1100.
All right, I'm gonna add Four weeks I'm gonna say we are a hundred and twenty five dollars more So you're gonna say roughly 1200 1202 The the real total you got the real means I'm wrong 1401 95 Now This is all in one purchase, okay, but we had talked about a little bit about this the one area that I have been assigned or for Requisitioning.

(23:15):
Okay stuff is for baby monitors.
Yes.
So that was a Google purchase for the cameras That we're gonna use knowing you so You looked into it.
I did a little research and the Google cameras were very well reviewed Okay, and I so I have we set one up as a test and we've got the other so they'll be we'll have we're using Him now as our YouTube.

(23:39):
Yeah, that's it.
There will be better coverage.
Yeah, I'm on the child So you're good with the monitors now.
Yeah, I think we're set up we're ready for it.
And then as furniture arrives I'll be able to install and and Arrange them.
When are we when are we painting the room?
What?
What is the room being I have to admit?

(23:59):
Yes, please.
I think Kelly is a very patient woman.
Yes, clearly if she's living with me, right?
So she has been talking about.
Mm-hmm the things that we want to have happen.
Okay in the in the baby's room and We had selected stuff there are there are some lighting fixtures that are on yeah on their way here from overseas we're not sure when they're gonna arrive soon, but other than like cleaning out the closet and And having ideas.

(24:30):
I have not made any real progress in Baby's room.
Okay, so I've got to get on the stick.
Yeah, I've been just distracted by this this Crest by the podcast that has required some time and effort Also, just I've been completely thrown off by how late Thanksgiving was this year, right?

(24:51):
It's like all of a sudden it's like it's Christmas or in this case New Year's Eve, right?
Yeah, so so yeah, so I gotta I gotta get on the stick with that stuff So I'm hoping over the holidays be able to catch up and we've said the baby's March.
Yes, March To be in the baby's the baby's gonna ride with you guys.

(25:13):
I keep telling myself.
I don't need to do anything I'll just do it when I'm when I'm sleep-deprived So, yeah, it's a but no I've got hopefully in the next couple weeks I get some of that work That'd be nice.
But so that that is check, please.
Yeah, so the total again was 14 14 Oh 195 14 Oh 195.

(25:34):
That's it.
All right.
Well, I'm bad at this game No, I'm always off like 200 bucks well, so You can track up a little bit remember, all right.
Okay, so now we can move on to please what just happened So the most important thing we have not talked about since the last episode there was an announcement made if you saw a special episode on Christmas Day that announced that Baby, Josephine Josephine is the name.

(26:09):
Yeah that one right now.
There's cheering in Auburn, Alabama happening Right now and there's crying in Liverpool, New York But yeah, baby Josie, so that's the name I love the name I told you It's in my family currently.
Yeah, that's fine.
It's so my my aunt Josie and Again I disappoint Trina with not allowing now.

(26:36):
It's a hat-trick Please All right, well at the very least it wasn't jasmine bubbles it's not jasmine bubbles Oh Louisa So Carlina Louise Carolina Louise, that's right.
So Josephine now, I don't have to say my yeah now I have to look I have to start to get Ali Say Kelly and Josephine or a little Josie Josie, what do you want to call it?

(27:04):
I think little Josie.
I like little Josie Congratulations for everybody who voted.
Thank you for the names that came in.
That's right.
So we did say that whoever won wins a t-shirt so Marie in Auburn, Alabama, you will have a great hair and take care podcast Let us know size you want let us know what size and we will get it to you and your address and all that good Yes, we have that.

(27:28):
Oh, that's fun.
So people out there wearing Proudly.
Yes our beautiful merch our merch.
That's right for season two Vintage now because it's from season one we get all new already already Baby Josie, I love it.
That's it.
So The the next thing up to talk about is you could probably hear I'm a little stuffy.

(27:53):
Yeah, so it's that time of year so Kelly picked something up when we were away at my brother's Thanksgiving time.
Yeah, and She had so she's been sick for a couple weeks and didn't want to get better until she infected me.
So She has started to improve the whole so she's feeling better I now have a little bit of a cold or but the fun thing this week The big thing was we had a doctor's appointment With a new big time like the big important scan So but it started with the glucose tolerance test.

(28:33):
So do you remember this with no?
Okay, so I don't know if this is a new thing or not tolerant a glucose tolerance test is Done at this point in the pregnancy To determine it's for gestational diabetes Right to determine what's going on.
I'm gonna say do remember that.
Yeah, so basically they give you like a little Looks like a little juice box size syrupy thing and So so this morning the morning of the doctor's appointment Kelly couldn't have anything to eat.

(29:03):
She could have a little something like a snacky thing, but no carbs so she got like an egg or something, but no carbs, no sugar and And then like an hour before the appointment juice box She's got us chug the juice box in within five minutes.
Like you can't sip on it.
Oh Yeah, you got a drink at all and then She basically won't best we have to make sure we get to the appointment and then they immediately Draw blood gotcha.

(29:32):
And then in a couple weeks, we'll find out.
I'm pretty sure Where she is, it's she'll be fine.
I don't think she's gonna have any trouble with with the gestational diabetes, right?
But so there was that we got that going on So we had that test but then right into so you go it's like you go in the waiting room They call you in she they take the blood then And of course the port the girls try to take blood and I don't know I've always been like when they take blood at the doctor It's like they start and it's just like I was like, I generally have never brought.

(30:05):
Yeah, Kelly She tried and left arm and they didn't get enough so they had to do it again and the other arm But it worked out.
Okay, you've got that all done.
So then the next thing is the ultrasound So now I'm thinking okay her belly like I sit down.
I'm in a chair next.
She's up on the table and Her belly's right there and I'm like, this is a lot bigger than it was last time So I'm like we're gonna get some interesting images this time.

(30:31):
So Kick in there as it puts the jelly on her belly and she's going around and this girl's just working like crazy Taking measurements and doing doing all this stuff.
It's like a tailor.
She's making a everything.
It's amazing Everything everything looks really good.
And then it's like so but I have no I like they're going through it's up on a TV I don't I don't have I'm getting glimpses of like that might be a head Yeah, you have no idea what you're looking at, but you really don't but then they give you all there while they're doing it They'll identify something and then they'll take measurements and see where everything is, right?

(31:06):
So what's interesting is only so and then they give you this report so I actually brought the report.
Oh So it gives you percentiles, okay for Where you're right by periodal by periodal by Basically the diameter of her skull.
Okay, the circumference of her skull.

(31:27):
Absolutely the circumference of her abdomen and The length of her femur and then they plot it all so that you can see kind of where you fall percentile wise and This is immediately.
So I'm looking at this and I'm thinking So she's four and then they also estimate fetal weight.

(31:49):
Okay, so she's like two pounds ten ounces right now and That would be like 48th percentile.
Okay, so and of course, I don't ask anything like I just keep my mouth shut at the doctor Now ever since the first trouble you asked no weight question.
I asked Kelly questions later.
I'm like, what does that mean?
So so the 48th percent.

(32:11):
Yeah, we think we could thank you 48th percentile So is that all babies?
Is that female babies?
Like what does that mean?
And she's like, well, I think it's all babies It's babies with daddies at 55 years old and older So for so 48th percentile of all babies, okay, so I guess that's right right in line right there But yeah, and then there were some but there's little variances, right?

(32:33):
And then what the thing that I didn't understand is so and this is just kind of basic math.
Okay, but the diameter of The diameter of her Skull, okay is 48th percentile Okay the circumference of her head is 20 Many third percentile.

(32:59):
Oh, it's a little lower.
How is that possible?
Because as far as I understand it the diameter of something is directly related to the circumference of something So, how can like how does that work?
How does the picture look like?
We'll talk about the picture but immediately I'm thinking I'm trying to picture like all the horrible machine like what is it?

(33:21):
Like a ZD like what is it?
Yeah, I don't get it.
No, did you not ask?
I did not ask I asked later And of course Kelly's like third averages like they don't I think it what it is Is she's been this woman is banging around with this thing and like and then she'll like put a dot on the screen and Taking measurements, you know So I just think it's one of those numbers is off Like 48 23 and I'm gonna guess that it's the 23.

(33:48):
Yeah But anyway So there's there's all those measurements.
They don't go.
Oh, this is What's that There was You guys are human right Matchbox car Knows the so he had there was none of that stuff.

(34:10):
Okay, it was all that stuff was all good Uh-huh.
And then what they do I think just to be nice Right to make it fun for you because they're going so fast They're taking all these pictures sure, but then she would do this thing.
It was really interesting.
The technology is amazing so she would go she would find a position and that she would hit a button and go and then all of a sudden on the screen, it would render a three-dimensional image and We got a couple really cute if I can I will if I'm allowed I'll check with Kelly.

(34:38):
I'll include one
So you can see really like a cute you can see your face Wow
It's really cool, I don't think we had that it was I'm gonna say we didn't have 3d
It's just because and you could see that's exactly what's happening
It's like she just picks up a perspective
Scans around and then all of a sudden the computer three-dimensional image of her face
I'm like wow comes out with the 3d printer.

(34:59):
It goes straight.
Yeah And again, they're going straight there by the time she's done She wipes her belly off and they're on her phone.
Like they already texted all these pictures to me.
Yeah, so it's free It's really really cool but So here's the interesting part afterwards there is a pot and they didn't show it didn't see the button But there's so of course I Send the picture to my sister's because they're interested like my brother.

(35:28):
Yeah, he gets nothing my brother Kelly sends picture to her sister and And we're coming home We're coming home and Kelly says I I said to I said to my sister, I think she has your nose and she agrees And I'm like my nose has been broken so many times.

(35:52):
She has your nose.
This is not genetic It came out No, I I do I guess I have I don't know No, but it's it's kind of I don't know on a little on a little girl So I thought I thought that was amusing.
I'm like, okay, this little girl has my nose.
She's got your nose.

(36:12):
Yes, she does Yeah, I could tell on this 3d Idea that I when I yeah that picture you showed.
Yeah when I looked at it and said it's a boy Yeah, I can tell by the jawline or yeah, I don't know why I thought I had no Tim I just I saw you felt that I felt it.
Yeah.
Yeah, you felt it.
So you got that's a
Yeah, a couple cute ones one she looks a little gassy and then the other one is very it is your dog

(36:39):
Now that
He's already gassy
So so that was a very that was a very fun experience
Yeah, and then the last thing today I didn't get to go to but Kelly went she had a fetal echocardiogram
So just as an extra precaution
With I guess because of the because of our ages or whatever they do an echocardiogram

(37:05):
So they check out the heart but everything was already so everything they saw in the scan that I was there for
When they went through the heart you could see everything working and there wasn't a huge
There wasn't anything right?
So and they they did that and everything was great.
So that's the last thing To worry about other than my parental skill Now it's just growing the bit like fattening up the baby, that's it just get bigger and bigger they say so and now it does change the frequency changes now because we were on monthlies and now we're gonna be to Every other week every two weeks to go back another checkup.

(37:42):
So yeah Yeah, so I'm sure there won't be there won't be scans every time but they'll be check-ins like that So as we were talking about this and being New Year's Eve.
Yep This is I would say our next big holiday after the New Year's Eve for us.
I mean Easter's, you know, right What's before a big big out?

(38:04):
Valentine's Day.
Yeah, but Easter's a big Easter's the big one, right?
Okay.
Yeah, that's gonna be here and that's you generally that's gonna be after baby Josie, yeah, it's gonna be your first first.
This is your last kind of made like Chris.
Yeah as a Last holiday without a little kiddo.
It's very different.
Yeah.

(38:24):
Yeah, you're gonna yeah the way you just experienced Thanksgiving Yeah Christmas.
Yeah, and now New Year's next year, yeah Totally.
Yeah, you're gonna be a different person it it's interesting because
Kelly was actually talking to the girl one of the nurses that was taking her blood and she said I keep seeing all these
cute things for Christmas, right and

(38:47):
Wanting them now, right I want them now, and of course the nurse is like well you can get him now
For next year, but yeah
No, I think it we're both we're both really looking forward to that as you're saying that I'm thinking like is how will she be?
able to have an Easter egg hunt like It should be like five weeks old, but we could try I mean you'll be doing it rolling Catch it.

(39:14):
No, yeah, but it changes everything Yeah in a good way, obviously in a very special way But just kind of take that in when we do our we do our New Year's this year Next year, you know everything Easter and on it changed 4th of July and seeing the kids, you know with the fire Everything changes.

(39:35):
Yeah.
Yeah, you know your eyes get You're wide open to different you're not looking through your eyes and when you're looking through your children Yeah, what they see what's this gonna be like for them?
Yeah.
Yeah, so that's and then shopping for Next year's Christmas that but that doorway is going to be not I mean, I'm never I'm gonna go to the back way of the house.

(39:58):
It's gonna be fun Yeah, I can't imagine what that will be like.
It's gonna be great.
It's gonna be awesome We're both I think we're both very excited for that.
Yeah But yeah, yeah all kinds of all kinds of firsts now That's the thing all kinds of first the first tool You've already you've already okay a lot of times you have kids.

(40:18):
You don't even have your first house yet Yeah, right, you know people have kids young and yeah And they're renting or whatever and you guys had all that first you guys did that you bought the homes you got three years Yeah, you got whatever you're gonna be working at or retiring from Yeah So now you can really enjoy These firsts.
Yeah, you know where we've I'm already been like in a very different way Yeah I'm like when I think back like the way I used to work in retail if I had a kid in my 20, right?

(40:50):
You know what?
It was like in retail you from Thanksgiving Really from before Thanksgiving till the Super Bowl.
It was six days a week 10 12 hours a day.
Absolutely.
Like literally like you had one day off You were lucky if you had one day off that you could go shop for Christmas You were working Christmas Eve you were you had Christmas Day off.

(41:13):
That was it.
Yep It was and you're worried about the next day Yeah, like I don't know how you would be able to enjoy that with a child that just brought me back You think I remember being at work and my wife had to bring in my child That was dressed up for Halloween because I was working.
Yeah.
Yeah, so they come in to you and you're like in and Because of that on my second on my Nicholas I decided I have to get out of retail.

(41:39):
Yeah, that's when I went to banking Yeah, because as they say bankers hours, you know, yeah, cuz I I miss to money parties Yeah, I miss too many things and at the same time that I was having kids my cousins my brother We were all having it.
So I was missing all the cousins.
Yeah all that Yeah, and that's why saying the first to you is a lot there because you guys already established You know, you're not in retail or you're working for somebody or you know, yeah, you're busy now, but you can control what you're doing now Yeah, no, there's a lot more flexibility there.

(42:10):
Well, you do miss a lot Oh, yeah family young parents miss a lot.
You barely had enough time to take care of yourself.
Yeah, I don't want a kid Yeah, so yeah, absolutely.
Yeah, very different.
But so yeah, we have a lot of a lot of awesome stuff to look Very cool, so but that that pretty much covers Everything for what just happened.
Yeah, and our last stop is to lullaby land So this one, I think I talked about it in a previous episode one or two ago Just you know YouTube music as as you look listen to different stuff It'll suggest things and I came across this.

(42:47):
It's a Billy Joel song.
Okay, it's called lullaby spelled l-u-l-l-a-b-y-e Lullaby Good night.
My angel his name is oh god.
Another one's gonna get me.
Oh this Oh in the content So this is Billy Joel 1994 the River of Dreams.
Okay album it went and it was a I guess it was later Adapted into a children's book So but there's an interview I why I did a little research and there's an interview and he's talking about basically When he was splitting up this he wrote this song when he was splitting up with his wife I'm guessing Christie frankly when he was married to her and his daughter We could be wrong.

(43:30):
We might be wrong.
But he was he was talking about he's divorcing somebody sure and His daughter was asking him questions about how things were going to work and the song is about him him really reassuring Reassuring her that he's not gonna disappear on right so it is absolute very touching song Hear that one.

(43:51):
It's it's a it's great song.
So that will be coming up next Lullaby, good night.
My angel.
Hopefully you guys like this one and now this will be I guess once we get to four Yeah, cuz the we won't count Santa loves you because it's not really a lullaby So maybe one more will have four and we'll start to do some competitions to see who's who are the favorites and so far we've had I'll take you dreaming.

(44:14):
Mm-hmm, and we've had a good morning.
And now we'll have good night.
My angel lullaby Okay, so that's coming up next but once again, thank you very much for joining us It has been fun.

Inside this ancient heart You'll always be a part of me
