Sometimes, life gives you these little nudges.
Like the other day, I was on the phone with a friend from Texas.
And this lady's dog, fresh from surgery/treatment, just wandered over to me.
The lady and I started talking, and she opened up about her tension with her husband as they were both worried about their dog.
I recommended a vet I knew, and we got into this whole discussion about corporate versus independent care.
It's funny how that applies to so many things in life.
Not just vets, but in every industry.
It's about the personal touch, the genuine care.
My friends and I are all 'fixers.'
It's like this invisible thread that ties us together.
And I think it comes from a place of empathy.
From understanding suffering, like my mom's tragedies or the people I treated at the clinic.
Empathy is a powerful thing.
It bridges gaps, heals wounds, and makes the world a little better.
And maybe that's what I want to share with the world.
That we can all be a little kinder, a little more connected.
Because when we connect, we grow.
And that's what life is about, isn't it?
Growing, learning, and making the world a better place.
Just remember, every encounter is a chance to connect.
Thank you for tuning in.
Peace and Love always,
Amber
