In today’s episode, I’m diving into the powerful and often overlooked practice of celebration—especially when living with chronic illness. I’ll talk about why it’s so important to celebrate yourself, the wins, the milestones, and even the small moments, despite the feelings of guilt or shame that can creep in. It’s all too easy to feel like celebrating your achievements is bragging, but we’ll explore why celebrating yourself isn’t the same as bragging, and how bragging itself isn’t a bad thing either. Join me as I discuss how to let go of guilt, release shame, and embrace a practice of celebration that can bring healing, empowerment, and a renewed sense of joy—regardless of where you are on your journey.

Key Topics:

  • The importance of celebrating on your chronic illness journey as a healing tool
  • Why we can feel guilty about celebrating – where it comes from and how it can shut you down
  • The difference between celebrating and bragging and why bragging really isn’t a bad thing
  • How to release guilt and shame so you can embrace a practice of celebration – I walk you through some simple steps and journaling exercises

And don’t forget to write in and share your celebration moments with me. The last episode of this month will be all about celebrating you!
