Agi Keramidas (00:00):
Foreign welcome to Personal Development mastery

(00:05):
podcast, and this is anothersnippet of wisdom where I select
my most insightful moments fromprevious episodes. Today's
snippet comes from my guestHaley Carbajal, who talks about
turning self doubt into alignedtrust. Keep listening to learn

(00:25):
how 51% belief is enough and howto question and release limiting
thoughts. Let's dive right

Haley Carbajal (00:38):
The thing about self doubt is that we're like,
oh, I need to trust myself, or Ineed to trust the thing, or I
need to trust the circumstance,or I need to write, trust comes
up, right? It's like we're nottrusting ourselves, but if you
look at it, you're trusting insomething anyway. You're just

(00:59):
trusting in what you don'tprefer to happen. You're
trusting in the fact of afallout. You're trusting in the
fact that you're not capable. Soit's not that you actually have
to learn how to trust it's thatjust flip the script in a way
that is authentic and meaningfulto you and realise that you're

(01:20):
trusting in something anyway. Soif you could trust in anything,
what would you want that to be?
And then, additionally, this isnot mine. This is from, I
believe her name is JenGottlieb. If I don't know if I
pronounced her name correctly, but she has this idea concept
that, because we've beenprogrammed, conditioned to

(01:41):
believe that we need to believein ourselves 100% before we do
something. And that actually iswhat prevents people from making
decisions. Because you're like,Well, I don't believe in myself
100% when, in reality, if youtalk to somebody who is a risk
taker and really is confident, believes in themselves, they

(02:03):
just have a smaller thresholdfor how much they believe in
their ability to do something.
They just do it. They're moreimpulsive, right? So if you look
at it, if you can just believein yourself, or just believe in
the opportunity, just 1% morethan you don't believe 51% then

(02:24):
that is enough to move forward.
The thing is, is you have tosupport yourself in that
decision, because where therebecomes destruction is in that
self doubt, going through astress induced visualisation of
the worst case scenario, believing in that more than what
that moment of inspiration was,and then that's where we

(02:45):
actually participate in our owndownfall. Right? All pain is
resistance to the natural self.
So when we're feeling thatdiscord, when we're feeling that
disalignment or that frustrationor fear or scarcity, know that
that's not the authentic youthat's coming up because there

(03:07):
are incongruent beliefs with thenatural self, with the core
being of who you are, and thoseemotions are messengers to say,
Hey, this is the thing that'sholding you back. And that
doesn't mean it's a prisonsentence. It doesn't mean it's
forever. It just means thatyou're actually in alignment and

(03:28):
going where you want to go, andyou're getting what you want,
because these old, stagnantbeliefs are coming up, but
normally we define them as we'reout of alignment, or it's not
meant for us, or something'swrong with us, or we're not
capable, and so therefore thatis the that is what we create.

(03:49):
But if we looked at it and inthe highest truth of what it
actually is, is that thesesubconscious programmes are no
longer controlling us. That'swhy they've surfaced up to the
conscious mind. And it is theconscious mind it needs to be
consciously identified, andtherefore you can make the

(04:10):
conscious decision to remove it,and then you're at the tail end
of it. It's already done. Whenit no longer makes sense. It's
like, okay, then we can releaseit. It doesn't have to be this
whole gruelling sit down andmeditate for 30 minutes to
figure it out. Some sometimesthat's necessary, but more often

(04:31):
than not, it's just askingyourself intelligent questions.
Is what I'm thinking reallytrue? Is this belief that I have
actually probable? Where is thiscoming from? Is this coming from
a place of fear or from a placeof faith? Is it coming from a
place of empowerment ordisempowerment? Whose voice is

(04:53):
in my head? Is this my mother's?
Is this my father's or. Is thismine? You know, if we just
stopped taking what weautomatically think of as truth
and just be the observer and becurious, don't create emotional
attachment to it's not hasnothing to do with you, right?
If you're just like, oh, wow, this is coming from the

(05:14):
subconscious mind to theconscious. Thank you. That means
it's ready to be released, andyou're already on the back end
of it, so just wrap it up,finish it up, let it go.
