Michelle Galoob (02:40):
too. Thank you so much for having me. I'm

Agi Keramidas (02:44):
looking forward to exploring intuition, among
other things, but let's say, ifI had to choose one word for
this conversation, it would beintuition, Developing Intuition,
trusting our intuition, whichare so important before we go
there, I understand that youtransitioned in your life from a

(03:07):
very logic driven left brain, you know, thinker, to becoming
an intuitive guide to others. SoI would like to hear about the
change. I believe there was anencounter or that caused Yes. So
tell us about this.

Michelle Galoob (03:28):
Yeah. So I used to have a business, fashion
business in London, actually.
And then after that, I workedfor a nonprofit, nine to five,
and I got to a point my lifethat I felt like a little bit
stuck, disconnected. I didn'tfeel like what I was doing was

(03:49):
what I came here to do. I wasstuck between what I felt like I
should do and what I wanted todo. And I had, I had financial
blockages, blockages in so manydifferent areas of my life that
I really felt like I hit a rockbottom. I was, I was really at
my lowest point now, beforebeing at this lowest point, I

(04:13):
used to ask my friends for helpand you know, like, what do you
think I should do? But I'd neverreally got clarity. And at this
point, when I was at the rockbottom, whatever their advice
was wasn't enough for me. Itdidn't help get me out of this
hole. So yes, I was a very leftbrain thinker, very like what

(04:33):
you see is what you get righthere, right now. I didn't, I
didn't, even though I wasspiritual, I didn't really
believe that there was a worldbeyond that could help me, so I
basically had nowhere else toturn. I begged the universe for
help, and I was crying. And Iknow I'm not the type to cry

(04:55):
usually, but I was crying. Andbegging, saying, Please, please,
universe, help me. I really, Ijust give me answers. I don't
know how to get out of thishole. And so one night before I
was going to sleep, yeah, this, that was the night that I begged
my spiritual teacher, who hadpassed away, appeared at the

(05:19):
foot of my bed, and I see him,and I'm freaking out because I'm
like, Oh my gosh, this is Ican't believe I'm actually
seeing him, and he startstalking to me. So at first I
thought I was dreaming. Ithought I was making this up.
And I'm looking around and I'mlike, No, I'm totally awake. I

(05:41):
see my husband sleeping rightthere next to me. I'm looking
around the room. I seeeverything in the room, and I
cannot believe that he's therein front of me. And he starts
talking to me, and he says, Iheard what you asked me for, and
this is what you need to do, andbasically gave me a solution to

(06:01):
every single one of my problems.
So it was like, I felt like Isaw the light. I saw the light.
It felt. I felt so comforted. Ifelt so taken care of. I felt
that I had all the answers atthat point, and I felt so much
clarity and lightness so that Iwas out of the hole. So

(06:27):
obviously it was so magical thatI wanted this to happen again.
So a few months after thatexperience, I started to hear
voices in my left ear, justovernight, and it felt like it
was, felt like it was mythoughts. It felt like I was

(06:47):
thinking a whole bunch of thingsand but I realised in time that
it was actually I was receivingmessages and guidance, even
though at the time I thought Iwas schizophrenic, I thought
that really it was. It was anoverload of thoughts. That's
what I thought. I couldn't tellthe difference between the two.

(07:08):
I couldn't tell if it wasguidance or or here I am
thinking. So I confided in oneperson because I was
embarrassed. I felt somethingwas wrong, and she told me. She
said, You know, I don't thinkyou're schizophrenic. I don't
think you're crazy. I think thatthat that something's opened up

(07:34):
for you, that your third eyemight be open, why don't you go
see this tarot card reader thatI know and see what she says. So
I said, Okay, I'll go. So I goto the tarot card reader, and
the first thing, the first cardthat I pick, is the card for
seer, which is the seeing card.
And she says, you know, you knowyou came here to channel for

(07:54):
people in this lifetime. Youhave the ability to see. I was
like, Really, what do you mean?
And she said, Well, you know, your third eye is open, and this
is, this is what you came hereto do. I said, Well, how am I
going to get into this? I don'teven know how, because us

(08:16):
logical thinkers always tryingto think about the how, how. But
how are we going to do it like, how is that going to happen? And
she said, you know, in twomonths, you're going to meet a
teacher, your teacher, she comesfrom a foreign land, that's all
she told me, and you're going tomeet her, and she's going to be
the one that's going to teachyou everything. So I took it

(08:40):
with a grain of salt. I Twomonths later, nothing happened.
It was probably the very lastday of March, which is the when
she told me that that it wasgoing to happen. I happened to
get into the car with myhusband, who was on the phone
with a healer from Argentinabecause his brother was sick,

(09:02):
and he was looking for somebodywho could do some remote
healing. So I get into the car,and I'm like, who, you know, Who
you talking to? He says, oh, youknow, I'm talking to this healer
for for my brother. And Isuddenly, I got all the signs,
all like goose bumps in my body.
And I said, this woman, I puther, I put them on mute, and I

(09:25):
said, this woman's gonna be myteacher. She's gonna be the one
who teaches me. He's looking atme like, What are you talking
about? I said, No, you'll see.
You'll see. Anyways, few secondslater, this healer says out
loud, she says, who just got inyour car with big brown eyes?

(09:50):
And then I was like, what? Andmy husband's like, kind of
freaking out. And he says, Oh,my wife just got. In the car.
And then she stops talking tohim altogether, and she says, Do
you know that your third eye isopen? I said, you know, I've
heard it before, but okay. Shesaid, Listen, I'm coming to LA

(10:13):
next week, and I have to meetyou, so I go meet her at a
coffee shop. And she's bawling.
She starts crying, and I got alittle uncomfortable. But then
she said, You know, I asked myguides told me I needed to come
to Los Angeles to meet somebody, and now I know that person is

(10:35):
you. So I'm like me. What areyou talking about, she says,
I've been instructed that I needto teach you everything I know.
And that was the beginning of myjourney. I did not really want
it, because I was still verymuch business minded, you know,
career driven, not not reallyinto this spiritual world. Let's

(10:57):
put it that way,

Agi Keramidas (11:01):
but you accepted the calling, and that's I did,
and this is here we are now.
Yeah, that's great. I let me askyou straight away, because you
did say at some point somethingI found very interesting. You
said that you were hearingvoices that you were not sure
whether they were just anintense stream of thoughts. And

(11:22):
that's really what I want to askyou about the difference between
our thoughts and what comes fromour mind, the rational mind or
the primitive mind, or any partof the mind, thoughts, versus

(11:43):
the voice from the intuition. Ihope my question is clear now,

Michelle Galoob (11:50):
yes, yes, I totally, I totally get it so, so
intuition is always the firstthing that comes to your mind,
the first thing that drops in.
So you receive it in manydifferent ways. It could be
hearing like I had. Can see, youcan feel. Sometimes you just
know things. You get goosebumps, tingles. You may get
messages in your dreams, or seerepetitive numbers or animals.

(12:15):
So there are many different wayswe receive it. Now, the issue
is, is that when we receive itand then we've put our logical
spin on it, we will never it'sbasically like you've thrown the
message away. The message fromthe universe is you might as
well go put it in the garbage, because you've put your spin on

(12:37):
it, you've analysed it, you'veput your logic into it. That
those are your thoughts.
Intuition is, is the the pureguidance that you're receiving
without any logic. So what I dois, when I receive guidance, or

(12:58):
at least this is what I did atthe beginning of my journey, is
I would write down what I what Ireceived, you know, I would just
write it down and then put itaside. I would not try to
analyse or figure it out. Andthen two days later, I would
look back at my little journalwhere I wrote that down, and I

(13:18):
would ask for guidance. I wouldsay, you know, you showed me an
image of two birds. What didthey mean? What were these? What
did these birds mean? And thenlater, your guides will maybe
share with you what that meant, instead of you trying to figure
it out. So another method that Iwould use is I would give my

(13:41):
ego, because the ego when assoon as the ego gets in to the
picture again, message is in thegarbage. So I gave my ego a
name, a really ugly name. Inamed her. Her my ego's name is
Gertrude. Okay, so Gertrude, shelikes to to insert herself into

(14:07):
into the equation. So, forexample, when I was, you know,
when I do sessions for people, Iremember at the very beginning
of my journey, I did a sessionfor somebody who she was in her
70s, and I saw her flying out ofan aeroplane. You know, when I
was when I was doing thisreading for her, I saw her

(14:28):
flying out of an aeroplane, andI told myself, do not Gertrude
said, do not tell her anythingabout her jumping out of an
aeroplane, because you're gonnalook like a fool. That is
ridiculous. A woman in her mid70s is not going to jump out of
an aeroplane. Don't beridiculous. So Gertrude was

(14:51):
telling my higher version ofmyself not to say anything
because she didn't want to lookstupid. Yeah, and um. Hmm.
Anyways, eventually I did. Ishared it with her at the very
end of our session. I said,Listen, this is I keep seeing
this image. Doesn't make senseto me, but here you go, and

(15:13):
there was a real battle. So yourthoughts and your ego will
always have a battle with, withthe universe and with with the
true guidance. So, you know, there was a battle, and then
eventually I surrendered. I saidit, and the woman starts crying,
and she says, You know, I usedto, I used to go skydiving in my

(15:37):
20s. And this message is veryit, basically, it was the
missing piece of the puzzle. Sohad I let my ego get in the way,
I she would have never got thefull scope of the message. So
this, this is, that's a goodtip. If you could all come up
with an ego ego name foryourself, and you'll recognise

(16:01):
the difference between the two.

Agi Keramidas (16:04):
It's very, I think it's very useful to name
it, or I've heard of picture init as the something really, you
know, Agi, you said you use theword battle, that it is a battle
between the two, let's say sidesor voices, or how do we trust

(16:33):
and how do we win the battle?
That is my my question becauseit is, it implies some
difficulty. It implies, from mypoint of view, some awareness of
what's going on. First of all, yeah, give us some method or a
tip, or something practical, apart from, you know, naming the

(16:56):
go, but something else that wecan perhaps cultivate in order
to to be better equipped to winthat battle that you mentioned.
Okay,

Michelle Galoob (17:09):
so one of the most important things is not to
have an attachment to theoutcome. So let's say you ask a
question like, is this person mysoulmate? You want that person
to be your soul mate? You areputting all your energy and all
your intention into getting theoutcome that you want. Okay,

(17:31):
there has to be a surrender.
There has to be a I totallytrust that I'm going to receive
the answer, even if I don't likewhat I'm getting. And then you
let it go. That's why I reallyfeel like when you when you want
to ask a question, take yourselfout of the equation. Imagine
you're asking for your bestfriend or or your identical twin

(17:51):
brother or sister. I also have aname for my identical twin, my
imaginary identical twin, because it's easier for me to
ask for her, as opposed to forme. So that's what I would do.
Okay, what would I is, is thisperson the best person for my
twins? Highest good you have toask better questions, detach

(18:17):
from the outcome, and then youwill receive the answer.
Intuition is received. It's notthought of, okay. So for
example, if I, if I asked youright now, what colour is my
sweater, you would look straightat me, and you would have the

(18:41):
answer right there be able totell me, though that's that's
your brain. But if I told you, what do you feel like I need to
change in my life? What? What doyou feel like I need to work on
spiritually? You would neverjust be looking at me. You would
either close your eyes, youwould look away, and you would
receive the answer, yes. That isthe difference. The ego, the

(19:06):
thoughts, is right now, righthere, right now. Intuition is
received. So it may take a theremay be a delay in receiving that
may take time. It doesn't justcome immediately. But when it
does come, you don't think aboutit. It just needs to be pure so
no second guessing. And a lot oftimes intuition might feel like

(19:37):
you're making it up. It feelslike imagination. So a lot of
people I know say, Well, I feellike I imagined it all. Well,
it's not really true. Well, howdo I know if it's true? So how
do you know you let you let itgo and you just trust, trust in
the first thing that you.

(20:00):
Received. Thank

Agi Keramidas (20:01):
you. I like very much the concept of receiving,
because there is, I think, acertain Can I call it internal
posture that you you have whenyou receive, that it is not the
same. So it is something to foreveryone you know, to ponder on
and meditate on how that it is asubtle difference, but I think

(20:24):
it's quite clear, you know, whenit is received, as you said. So
it's a great word. And I willalso mention, once again, you
said earlier, and I believe itis very useful practice when
intuitive thoughts, let's callthem, that arrive and you

(20:47):
receive them to write them down.
You used, you said that themoment they get interfered with
with the logical mind or theego, it's they're not the same
anymore. You said, therefore thegarbage bin. So, yeah, I'm just
reiterating this because I thinkit's a beautiful, useful

(21:09):
practice to write things down. Ihad done it in the past, not
lately, but perhaps it's a goodopportunity for me to restart
doing it and keep some of those.
The word downloads came to mymind. But it is, you know, it

Michelle Galoob (21:29):
is, that's what, that's what I always say,
downloads. It's a nice, it'svery

Agi Keramidas (21:33):
digital lira word. Why not? If it is, you
know, the analogy that there isthe cloud that's there, and, you
know, our phone is the receiver.
In a similar mind, we receivethe again. Here's this word
again, receive. It's, it's veryappropriate. So thank you for
that.

Michelle Galoob (21:54):
But in order to receive we've got to have quiet
around us. Yes, you cannotreceive a message when you're,
like, stressed about your dayand thinking about your to do
list, and you know, driving yourkids from this place to that
place, you know you have to tocreate some quiet time in your

(22:14):
day, like, whether it'smeditation, doesn't have to be a
meditation, listening to whitenoise, the sound of rain, taking
a long shower, going for a longdrive. There are so many things
that we can do that's not thetypical meditation. You know.
Can do so many different things.
We could wash the dishes, andsuddenly you get 20 downloads.

(22:35):
But you've got it. You've got todo these practices every day,
and train your body to to beopen at those times. So, so you
do it, you're consistent everytime, a day, every day. Let's
say, at 630 in the morning to645 you do one of those
activities. You're training youryour body, because your body is

(22:58):
the receiver of intuition.
You're training your body toknow, okay, this is when she's
the most open, and that's whenyour your guidance will come
through.

Agi Keramidas (23:12):
What are some signs that one can look for,
that you know, in a way, let'ssay, reassure or reinforce,
because that logical part of usis part of us. So what are some
signs that we can see orexperience and say, Okay, this

(23:33):
is can I say this is working, orthis is progressing, or I'm
writing, I'm on this path oftrust in my intuition.

Michelle Galoob (23:44):
Well, you can always ask your guides to show
you a sign. Okay, so this is,this is what I do. So I'll say,
like, if I'm on the right track, show me, you know, show me a
hummingbird today, or give me asign that it's not a good idea.

(24:05):
So you can ask your signs forsomething, your signs, your
guides for something specific,in terms of a sign, and I, trust
me, you will be able to beguided in that way. Okay, so you
won't know at the beginning.
You've got to just keeppractising. It's like a muscle.

(24:25):
You'll build it. Yes, you need, sometimes you might need
validation from somebody else tosay, oh my gosh, yes. Oh, I
can't believe you said that.
That's so true. Or, you know, soafter it's, it's, it's really
like going to the gym andbuilding this spiritual muscle,
this intuitive muscle, you knowyou need to just work on it.

(24:47):
You'll get validation once, you'll get validation twice.
Eventually you'll start totrust. But again, it's the first
thing that comes to you. Sowrite it down. Put it aside. Go
back to it later, and mostlikely those will be the right
answers for you.

Agi Keramidas (25:06):
You also used the word surrender earlier. You said
about detaching from theoutcome. And these are also, I
find very useful approaches orconcepts to approach this whole
intuition thing, because our egodoes not like surrendering very

(25:28):
much. I suppose it's in manyways, it's the exact opposite of
it's holding on with everythingit's got. Michel is there? You
know, we have discussed aboutquite a few things about
intuition. I would like to ask, let's say someone listening

(25:49):
right now is certainly way pastthe let's say the states that
I'm not sure what my intuitionis, so they have a pretty good
understanding, and candistinguish the voice of
intuition and follow theguidance. What is one something

(26:11):
I don't want to define it. Whatis something that you would tell
them right now? Is theresomething that comes up for
them?

Michelle Galoob (26:20):
It's connecting to their higher selves. It's
asking, asking the universe tohelp. It's creating and
beginning a dialogue with theuniverse. So even if it's
speaking out loud, and it mightlook, you know, speaking out
loud and saying, Hey, guides, Ineed help with this, this

(26:41):
project, I need help with thispodcast. Can you give me the
right words to to share with mymy guest I need help with, with
my kids. I'm not sure whichschool they should go to, so you
want to start a dialogue as asas you would be talking to

(27:01):
anyone else, you have to knowthat your guides are like,
they're like waiters in arestaurant. Okay, your guides
want to serve you, and so youneed to ask for help. So, and I
always share this with myclients. You know, if you if you
went to a restaurant and yourguides were your waiters, and

(27:24):
they said, Hey, what? What wouldyou like today? Most of us would
say, Well, no, no, it's okay. Idon't want to bother you. Don't
want to bother you. I know wherethe kitchen is. I'll just go
make the food myself. And ifyour guides are like the
waiters, they'd be like, butwe're getting paid for this,
like we're here to serve you. Idon't understand why you're even
in the restaurant. This is, thisis what I would recommend for

(27:49):
the listeners to start adialogue. Just ask for help.
Don't have so much ego that youthink that you can do it
yourself. Don't feel alonebecause you're not alone. There
is so much support in theheavens for you, you know it's,
it's and it's accessible. Sothat's really what I would

(28:11):
recommend. If you want to deepenyour your intuition and your
your connection to the universe, start talking to your guidance.

Agi Keramidas (28:24):
That's great.
Thank you. And I loved theanalogy of the, you know, the
waiters in the restaurant. It'svery It helps me. You know,
having that visual, I think itwill for anyone listening or
watching this, that is visual. Ithink that will very much be
helpful, Michelle, before westart wrapping up this very

(28:47):
insightful conversation, wheredo you want to direct our
listener who wants to continuethe journey with you and find
out more

Michelle Galoob (28:59):
amazing so I'm on Instagram, so my my handles
at Michelle Galoob, or mywebsite, which is Michelle
galoob.com I also have an onlineplatform, like an online
community on school that's s, K,O, O, L, and it's called

(29:20):
intuitive mastery.

Agi Keramidas (29:24):
Michelle, I have two quick final, quick questions
that I want to ask you also. Andthe first one is, what does
personal development mean toyou?

Michelle Galoob (29:38):
I love this question. Okay, so personal
development, to me, means reallygetting to know who you really
are, getting in touch with thecore, your essence of who you
are. Because when you know whoyou are, and you start to

(29:59):
really. Uh, step into your shoesof why you came here and and
what your gifts are and who youreally are, you become a magnet
to draw in everything in yourlife. So so it's really about
like recognising andacknowledging your gifts and

(30:22):
seeing yourself for the thebeautiful soul that you are, as
opposed to all youraccomplishments, or what you
feel like you haven't done yet,it's nothing to do with that.
It's really to do with with whoyou are at your core, in your
essence, that is going to bringthe magic into your life.

Agi Keramidas (30:46):
And hypothetically, if you could go
back in time and meet your 18year old self, what's one piece
of advice you would give

Michelle Galoob (30:55):
her? Oh, boy, my 18 year old self. My 18 year
old self was living inSwitzerland at the time, and she
was very shy and and she hadvery little confidence. So I
