(01:16):
Alright, Jamie, since this is a brandnew show, tell everybody who you are.
I'm Jamie Jirek.
If you don't know me, I've spent the lasttwo years telling everyone that Agatha was
gonna be the best thing since WandaVision.
Feels good to be right.
And let's see.
Oh, I host an Agents of S.
H.
I.
E.
L.
D.

I'm allowed to talk about that onthis show, which is pretty cool.
(01:40):
Yeah.
I love Marvel, and I love allmovies, and I love all things.
But most importantly, I loveyou, and I love two other people.
Oh, I love you too, Jamie.
And there's two other people I love too.

Awesome panel at L.
A.

This is incredible.
Oh my gosh.
This is incredible indeed.
Jenna!
You have a nickname on the internet.
The people call you Professor Jenna.
(02:26):
Yes, I have no officialaccreditation whatsoever.
I just have to get that out there.
I recently launched my own YouTube channelcalled Go Read Some Comics with Professor
Jenna but the professor is very heavilyscratched out because I want to make
it clear I'm not legally a professor.
People love hearing me talk about comicsand I wear that as a badge of honor.
(02:46):
Also, Go.
I know not legally a professor, but you professed to the co
CEO of DC Studios, by the way.
I don't know if everybody saw this, butJenna's YouTube channel, which I believe
the handle is go read some comics.
It is, yes.
She did a video about the CreatureCommandos, which by the way,
Creature Commando stuff comingto the channel already, not
already booked, already recorded.
(03:08):
So go ahead and subscribe, but Jenna dida video about the Creature Commandos that
was so good That James Gunn himself sharedit and said this woman knows her stuff.
So that's a little taste of what you geton Faye's Hero Because we're going to
talk about DC on this show as well asMarvel and all the other superheroes we
love but I suggest Subscribing to Jenna'schannel immediately because you just
(03:29):
didn't you just publish a new video today?
I did I knowing we were going to do thisI wanted to give the people a little bit
more on my channel So I did a whole odeto the absolute universe that dc just
launched that is a phenomenal very weirdnew jumping on point Of reinventing batman
superman wonder woman the whole night.
So hear me.
Yeah about that 15 minutes.
I that's the place to go
(03:50):
Let's go.
All right.
All right.
We got one more person.
I think took to complete the Forlegal reasons we are not actually
the fantastic four But if youasked, comment section, we've been
dubbed that, in a couple places.
Please welcome to the stage, Aaron Burry!
Woo!
(04:11):
Aaron, what, oh, Aaron, with thesilent entrance, by the way muted,
I don't know what's going on, but weare thrilled to see you, we'll be even
more thrilled when we can hear you.
Figuring it out.
Aaron Morgan is a long time long timeentertainment journalist and a long
time legend of muted microphones.
You
better tell him.
Let's go.
(04:31):
There
we
go!
I was like, what's going on over here?
What a perfect firstsentence for this show.
I'm like, I'm just gonnalet BD handle my light work.
Thank you, BD.
Yeah.
Long time entertainment journalist.
Prankster came fromsports over to nerd stuff.
Joined up with these three peopleover here, excited to cover
(04:52):
Agatha, excited to cover DC stuff.
Super excited to see JamesGunn loving Jenna's video.
That was wild this week.
And I've just been so sad becauseI've just been sitting here we, me
and Jamie have been looking forward toAgatha for what feels like three years.
And I want what you have for myselfwhenever Ironheart comes out next year.
(05:17):
I want this to be the culmination of,so you got your turn, I'm so happy.
I'm so excited.
Feels good.
It feels good to be here.
Feels good to be herewith the three of you.
Look at us, huh?
Look at us.
Over 500 people watching liveright now on the YouTube channel.
We're exclusively on one channel andthere are over 500 people watching live.
(05:40):
We're going to get to your comments.
We're going to do as best we can.
I'm going to be completelyhonest with everybody.
I'm doing pretty muchall this myself tonight.
So if there's a couple ofkinks, please work with me.
I'm switching the cameras.
I'm plugging the assets.
I'm throwing this littlephase hero bug on the screen.
I'm going to get rid of itbecause it's in Aaron's face.
I got to figure out how toput it on the other side.
I'll just sit here the entire time.
(06:01):
I'm that excited.
Yeah, there we go.
I did that.
So we are going, let me introduceeverybody to what we're doing, why
I'm doing this work, why my friendsare joining me tonight to do this work
here on the channel to launch phasehero, which we are very excited about.
Phase hero is a new movie and TV.
broadcast live on this channel.
(06:22):
We may one day launch aseparate channel just for it.
But for now, we're goingto keep it on this channel.
We're going to keep it goingand grow it as best we can.
We have guests already lined up from theMarvel Cinematic Universe, from the DC
Universe, exclusive interviews coming up.
Some of them will be live.
Some of them will be pre taped.
We want to interact with the fans.
We want to create a communityand environment for people who
love this stuff like we do.
(06:43):
We love talking about it.
We yap our yaps.
We're not getting paid, but we do it for fun.
And it's just we love doing this.
We love interacting with the fans.
We love being able to talk to thepeople who make these, Who bring
these characters and these worldsto life that we love spending time
in on our TV screens and in comics.
And this Phase Hero series isintended to be something that
(07:05):
celebrates all of those things.
This isn't limited to one franchise.
This isn't just a Marvel show.
This isn't just a DC show.
It's not Star Wars.
This is all the thingswe love in one place.
It's going to be a lot of thethings that we love, like we have
in common, probably a bit more.
We all love Marvel.
We all really enjoy DC.
We all really like Star Wars.
So you might see some more of some things.
And if you guys want to see something, this is the chance to let us know
(07:29):
what you want to see on Phase Hero.
This is not a sequel show.
It's not a reboot.
This is not a spinoff ofanything you've ever seen before.
This is a brand new show calledphase hero, and it is live
and it exists and it is here.
And I couldn't be moreexcited and grateful for that.
Before we talk about Agatha allalong, I have one more thing to say.
(07:52):
Our phase hero logo was designed byAdam Barnhart a legend in graphic
design, legend in the comic space.
Adam is publishing hisown comics and Adam made.
Hero logo.
And I said, Adam, I'mgonna be honest with you.
I don't have a ton of money right now.
I'm just doing this for fun becauseI love doing this stuff and I want
to make a show and if it works outand we can make money on it, great.
(08:13):
But I need a logo.
And Adam said, I said, how much do you charge?
And Adam said, you know what?
I'll do it for you if you do a readfor me about a comic I'm working on.
So I said, dude, honestly, I'd rather doa read for you anyway because hopefully
it'll help you get another comic going.
Adam has had comics on shelves in comicshops, and I want to read this for you.
I'm reading it word for what he sent me.
He said I could put it in my own words.
(08:34):
I'd rather put it in hisbecause that's what he deserves.
Let's see.
The Universal Monsters meet MortalKombat in Meltdown Press House of
Haunts, a triple sized, 72 page debut.
Featuring nine stories by a dozencomic creators, House of Haunts No.
1 is now funding on Kickstarter withseven covers to choose from, including
work from legendary Green Arrow andAction Comics artist Phil Hester.
(08:58):
To back, go to www.
hauntscomic.
com.
I'm going straight to HansComic.
com as soon as Phase Hero isover and I'm supporting Adam.
What you just described soundslike Tony's dream comic.
I cannot wait to walk out of here.
And if you're new to, if you'rea Phase Hero who doesn't know the
four of us, Tony's my boyfriend.
And that Mortal Kombat meets UniversalMonsters, he's gonna lose his mind.
(09:22):
That's, yeah that's, I,the, Adam wrote Shit Show.
Which was an awesome book and we cansay the name of that show on this
show because it's my YouTube channeland there's pretty much no rules.
We're not gonna be crude, we're not gonnabe rude, we're, but we can be a little
bit more free than we've ever been on theinternet because we don't have a boss.
What's going on internet?
(09:43):
Almost 600 people watchinglive, thank you so much.
If you're subscribed to thechannel, you will see more.
And you'll see more content from consinterviews and just stuff that I've
been doing some vlogs, random stuff, apologies in advance for the yap.
And you'll see, I hope you enjoy it.
Please continue to follow all fourof us on social media, everywhere you
can, because the fact that you guysfollowed us, the fact that I've worked
(10:04):
in media for a decade and been ableto accrue a following is the reason.
Why Mary Lovano's producer of VagabondAll Along is going to be live on
the Phase Hero show on Friday.
It's why we are talking about bookingthe head of Marvel Television to be on
Phase Hero in the next couple of weeks.
It's why one is Don't say the
one.
Don't jinx it.
(10:24):
It's
so good.
It's so good.
But it is under embargo.
It's already recorded.
And I cannot wait topublish it on this channel.
This one I did already likea couple weeks ago now.
You can start guessing, even if you guessed.
I have a good poker face.
Don't call me HarleyQuinn, but p poker face.
Alright.
Can we address one thing?
Can
(10:46):
we address one thing that the chathas been asking about in droves?
Merch is on the way.
We are currently in progress ofgetting a merch store set up.
So you will be able to rockyour love for Phase Hero in a
multitude of different ways.
So stay tuned for that.
616 watching live.
How fitting.
I love it.
(11:07):
Yes.
Merch is absolutely on the way.
We, listen, we all want to, we'redoing this because it's fun, but
obviously yes, also we'd loveto make a few dollars doing it.
And if we could do that by providingcool merch, t shirts, hats,
whatever stickers and you guyswant to support, that's awesome.
I think there's a super chat feature.
I've never done that before, but I'm new to YouTube.
So I'm figuring it out as I go.
(11:27):
It's oh, tj, you absolute legend.
Thank you for that.
Did we have one earlier?
We did, yeah.
Will before us.
Hold.
I've been moving assets around us.
Five will.
Yeah, dude, we're so back.
Congrats on the app.
Congrats.
What?
We'll absolutely be anoutstanding new chapter.
Will.
Oh, TJ from Agents of Fandom,
(11:49):
my friend, Phase Hero, we
back.
Back from what?
I don't even know, back from what?
We're When you're done watching
this
stream, Phase Hero, go
over and check out theAgents of Fandom stream.
Yes.
Because they're gonna have somegood stuff over there, too.
Absolutely.
Also, people
are asking about thisbeing a podcast feed.
We should address that before we continue.
(12:09):
Yes.
We gotta get to Agatha.
We're already 15 minutes into this show.
But yes so I know this is thefirst time we're doing this.
Thomas you four truly are the best.
No, Thomas, you're the best.
Thank you so much.
I promise you what we're going to dois I'm going to figure out what happens
here and then we're going to splitup like how after taxes this works.
And it's just, we're all goingto split this because this
feels like a telethon all of a sudden.
I feel like it's.
Sesame Street!
(12:30):
Oh my goodness, wow.
Hi everybody.
You
guys are so sweet.
Zach, Louis, Hannah Layla, Paul,Brandon, Indigo, what's up dude?
Eric, Comic Things, oh my god, guys, stop!
We gotta talk
about Agatha!
Stop!
But yes, this will be a podcast feed.
(12:53):
Oh, my God.
Wow.
That's unexpected.
That's love.
Thank you so much everybody, for just theun the unnecessary, unbelievable kindness.
We're all gonna go get dinner.
From Germany.
My goodness.
I don't even know how that works.
Is that legal?
Oh my God, Max, this is, we havealmost 700 people watching live.
(13:14):
I feel like we should just keep rolling.
Okay.
Is it going to be a podcast?
Yes.
There is already a podcast feed.
Honestly, I have to figure out how.
To how to take this audio andput it on a podcast platform.
I just learned how to use thesoftware I'm streaming from right now.
(13:36):
Today, like three hours ago.
And if I'm completely honest, I havehad the most insane couple of months.
I've had meetings with.
Absolutely unbelievable people who havebeen interested in working together.
I've had meetings with outlets aboutpossibly working in other outlets.
And I didn't want to run into asituation where I built a show and spent
(13:58):
years of my life building somethingthat I couldn't take with me or take
pride in, or just have control over.
And I have elected to just trythis, and hopefully, Thomas, who
is all love, Rudy Torres, you're,oh my god, Nick, thank you guys.
Have no idea how this all works.
I genuinely don't even know whathappens when I log into my YouTube
back end after the show now.
But once I figure out how tomake this a podcast, Hopefully
(14:21):
it's available by the morning.
And going forward, the plan isabsolutely, we don't have a producer.
Like we don't even haveanybody helping right now.
This is all so far.
It's all been me doing this.
And Jenna, Aaron, and Jamie have offered.
I have just said, listen, guys, I have my channel.
I want to do this.
The ways I know how I'm very I'm a veryparticular person about appearance and
image and just consistency and all that.
(14:43):
And I, I did honestly forthe refuse a bit of help.
So yeah Ron, oh my God,you guys are insane.
Guys, go to the movies, go
save it.
We have a thousandconcurrent viewers on one.
channel.
This is bonkers.
Thank you so much for joining us.
I know this is like thefirst show excitement.
(15:03):
I know it's the post Agatha excitement.
I hope we can keep thisalive for future shows.
We will, we'll talk about ourschedule for future shows at the end.
We have spent so much time.
Tyler.
You unreal hero you.
We're gonna have merch.
Save it.
Save it.
Save
it for the t
shirts.
Save it for the t shirts.
Goodness gracious.
We are gonna have a Venom review.
(15:24):
We're gonna have a Penguin review.
Gladiator's around the corner.
If you want us to talk aboutthat, maybe we'll do that.
Jim you say you, come on, you hero.
Yeah, 616 cute.
Amazing.
All right.
Now there will probably be some segmentsin the show where we have a little break
and it's a very clear wait, hold on, let'sregroup and then say something to set up
(15:45):
a segment of the show, because there'sa chance we take segments of the show.
break them out into like different videoson the channel and maybe on if we start
a new phase hero channel they'll livethere and stuff like that so we can get it
moving instead of jumping to one with nosubscribers we'll figure it out but what's
about to happen it's probably going toseem like a weird transition but it's for
the sake of editing after the live showthe agatha all along finale Has come and
(16:07):
gone and now it is time to talk about it
right here on Phase Hero.
We're gonna go around and goreactions to Agatha All Along.
The entire series is available.
This is spoilers for AgathaAll Along officially.
So Aaron, please start us off.
What did you think ofAgatha All Along's finale?
(16:28):
At the beginning I was confusedbecause I was like, that first
half sure did feel like an ending.
It was like, what elsecould we talk about?
What else could be done?
I mean I think that they saved alot of the gut punch, absolute,
just crushing emotional stuff forthe last three episodes, which I
(16:48):
suppose, thank you, Jack Schafer, forjust absolutely breaking all of us.
I showcase for Patti LuPone, like Zaheer getting a little
bit of a showcase in here.
And then also Katherine Hahn, just lettingher run wild is such a good choice.
that I'm like, wow, if you justget popular actors and let them
be awesome for nine episodes, ittends to work out pretty well.
(17:12):
I think that's the commonalityacross all of these streaming shows.
So I'm very pleased.
I never thought we'd get, I'dalso do so just so spoilers
ghost Agatha in a real thing.
is the kind of madness, the kind of wildcarrying on that I can really appreciate.
It is going to probably be a little bitdivisive, but I had an amazing time.
(17:35):
Also, who among us would not make outwith Aubrey Plaza to sacrifice our own
lives, I took you out of the way to die!
There's a whole show on Spike!
I was thinking it, I was like, youknow what, I remember the Elektra
movie and I thought it then.
Jenna, what did you think ofthe Agatha all along finale?
(17:57):
I agree with Aaron.
I know full disclosure, the four ofus were texting as we were watching
and we we each got done with thefirst of two episodes and we were
like, how is there still more?
It felt like such an interesting finale.
We texted
in between, not during.
I said in between.
A couple of us texted during and Iliterally said Jamie's gonna be mad at
us for texting while we're watching this.
But it, I couldn't believe that westill had a full episode left and
(18:20):
then the gut punch that we got, thebackstory that we got, I think was
just such an interesting choice tosave it for the moment that we got it.
I think that this really was aninteresting showcase for every single
actor and actress on this show.
We have to talk about Joe Locke.
He has nailed this.
this role in everysingle sense of the word.
And I love how this kind of becamehis show to a certain extent.
(18:41):
But I thought that they stuckthe landing in ways that I
wasn't necessarily expecting.
I find it hilarious that we gotMephisto trolled for a second time.
I'm sure we'll get into that, butI liked that the show existed and
was able to be its own thing inthe way that it ultimately was.
I, Jamie, I feel is like frobbingat the mouth to talk right now.
She's so excited.
I feel listen, I love havinggraphics up, but One of us is
(19:02):
Mike Wazowski the entire time.
But I think it's worth puttingJamie full screen for her thoughts.
Oh, thank you so much.
Thank you.
I wanted to shout out all the podcaststhat let me go on a podcast tour.
Since I, I did, we know we aredoing face here over the finale,
but a lot of great podcasts.
Let me join them.
And I think, Thank you all, because this has been the best
(19:24):
time of my life since WandaVision.
It's safe to say it's my secondfavorite show after WandaVision.
Is it my second favoriteanything after WandaVision?
Probably probably isgonna earn that ranking.
I loved these two episodes.
So much.
I was really hoping I didn't wantAgatha to die, but I also wanted ghost
Agatha because I, the James Robinsonrun were there and the kiss, we got
(19:46):
the kiss, we got the Agatha Rio kiss.
We could all sleep easy.
They touched mouths and it was,oh, and then when like, When Billy
came out in his costume, I yelpedeverything that we got in these two.
And just for me, they put a Buffy posterin his room, specifically from Once
More With Feeling, which is the musicalepisode of Buffy, which is my favorite
(20:08):
episode of television of all time.
So I just I'm, we started a new show.
I got my perfect finale.
I'm living.
I should go play the lottery.
Iokay.
Oh no.
Ah!
Here we go!
I think for me I love that kiss.
I'm not gonna lie to you, but Ithought the I thought the show
(20:29):
peaked in six and seven for me.
It
certainly didn't have the Disney plusproblem of finales not being that good.
It was pretty good.
It had the costume trope.
It sure did.
But I think that some of thesepayoff moments in these final two,
like I thought episode eight, wegenuinely like, yeah, you said it.
We were texting, like, howis there another episode?
And sure enough, there was,and it was largely a flashback.
(20:51):
And I thought that the Agatha Passstuff on paper was really good.
I just, for some reason, in the deliveryof it, it didn't really resonate with me.
I thought this stuff, these twoepisodes opened really well.
I loved that camera shot of it, thecamera flipping over and showing
this is her going to the afterlife.
I thought that was brilliant.
I have so many notes here.
This is a way that's this isall my notes and stuff on the I
(21:12):
was like, Ayo, that's like Billywhen he came out in the costume.
Overall the show I'm not a personwho responds well to campy stuff.
That's why I like some ofthe more grounded stuff.
And I, I feel like I'vebeen consistent with that.
And sometimes I buy into it.
Abigail's one of myfavorite movies of the year.
And parts of Agatha, Ithought were just awesome.
And the parts of it, I was like, okay, this isn't a show that's
intended for my taste, and that'sfine, but I still liked it.
(21:35):
So I found that really impressive, becausetypically this level of camp would turn
me off, and I found myself actually drawnto this show, and really enjoying it, and
I think on paper I really what they didwith the story with Agatha finally getting
the story of her son and what happened.
I found it to, not gonna lie, mildly underwhelming, given
how much we've asked about it.
But still good.
Does that make sense?
(21:55):
Is that, can I live?
You hated it.
You hated it.
You heard it here
first, folks.
Ugh, confirmed.
But no, I do agree
with you that 6 and 7 wereunbelievable episodes.
I do think it's okay to have the peak ofthe show not necessarily be the finale.
I do think episode 7, people have calledit one of the best things Marvel's
probably ever put out in recent memory.
And I don't entirely disagree with that.
(22:16):
But I do think For the context of whatthe show is, this did deliver on a
lot of elements without fully gettinginto, like I said, Mephisto or any
like unheard of kind of territory.
Like I think that they did adecent job, all things considered.
Nine felt, I like thiscomment wait, where was it?
I feel like this is an extremeversion of what I'm feeling.
Hannah saying nine almost wasn't needed.
(22:37):
For me, I felt nine wasalmost like an epilogue.
Like it really closedthe book on this show.
So I don't think it wasn't.
It wasn't that it wasn't needed.
I think it was good.
If we didn't get episode nine, eightwould have been a fine, typical
cliffhanger for TV, but I thinknine made it more satisfying for me.
Yeah,
It was the little dessert, we gotall the, we got a little closure.
(22:57):
We got Ghost Agatha.
We got that beautiful in memoriamto our three fallen witches two
and a half witches, we'll say.
Yeah, that's true.
And my aunt.
My own Sharon.
She's she was, Oh,
stop it.
(23:18):
No I, she was just sohappy in that flashback.
I did love how it wraps back aroundto that moment where they were
opening up the port, like the accessto the witch's road, and it really
shifted the perspective on it.
I think that going back and watchingthis show again is going to really.
Be fulfilling, knowing, andeven WandaVision, which I
didn't rewatch before this show.
(23:39):
I think you guys did, but Ididn't and cause I've just seen
WandaVision like three times throughalready, but it was like years ago.
Wow.
So many times.
Jamie, how many times haveyou watched WandaVision?
10.
Dang.
10.
Dang.
It doesn't even feel like a lot.
If was shorter, I wouldprobably be like 25 by now.
I feel like 10 is tame.
(24:00):
Wow.
Jenna, was there, there was, can youtalk about some of the comic stuff?
Or I know the ghost of Agatha is like,
That is definitely a huge component, and I'm glad that we got to that point.
I do wish her hair was fully up,just to have kind of the silhouette
of how it is in the comics, butI do think that they nailed it.
It was funny because I saw in the leadup of the finale, people were tweeting
(24:21):
of is she gonna get like the whitestreak in her hair that she's known for?
And I'm like, that's a more recent thing.
That's so recent!
Like the joke people have used is like shetook the substance in the recent comics
and that's why she looks so much younger.
And it's like I, I'm glad thatwe didn't fully get to that.
I'm glad we got to the silhouettethat like Fantastic Four established
for her like way back when.
I'm glad we have that.
One thing I do want to get Jamie'sopinion on is how do you feel about
(24:44):
The Witch's Road like not really beingwhat it is in the comics and having
it be a thing that Billy created.
This was interesting because, assome of you may know, I previously, I
interviewed Elizabeth Olsen when she wasdoing Doctor Strange and the Multiverse
of Bad and Madness, and she told meshe wanted to see The Witch's Road.
And I would love to, somebody toask her, why do you feel about
the fact that not only did theydo it, they did it without you?
(25:06):
And they revealed it's fake.
It's fake.
You're never watchingWalking the Road, girl.
I, honestly, I didn't mind.
I a little part of me is sadbecause it means Wanda's never gonna
go there because it's not real.
But I thought it was a cool twist.
He's his mother's son, inventing wholeplaces for a whole show to take place in.
I think that's pretty cool.
And I think the fact that even though theroad isn't real still culminated in Ghost
(25:29):
Agatha like in the James Robinson run did.
To me, that's fine.
I've never been a comic sticklerand this is, if I was ever going
to be one, it'd be for this.
And I think it's totally fine.
I agree.
Cause I feel like there's a certainsubset of MCU fans who probably, if the
Witch's Road was still a thing by theend of the series, it would become the
new quantum realm of we need to find.
Need to use that as some sort ofthing in Secret Wars or it needs
(25:51):
to somehow dovetail into something.
I remember in the lead up to theshow, people thought the Darkhold
was going to be like this magicalMacGuffin that was somehow going to have
something to do with Secret Wars again.
And so I'm glad that the showwasn't really about any of that.
I as much as I love the comics, I'malways willing to hear out some sort
of like reinterpretations of stuff.
And so I think in the context of theshow, having the Witch's Road be this
(26:11):
finite thing, that totally worked for me.
All of the phase four and five stuffhas really leaned on the wizard of Oz.
So I was immediately suspicious.
And then I think it's in seven whenthey're downstairs contemplating,
just running out of there andokay, we can get out of here.
I was like, something's weird.
There's going to be somebody at theend, but you never thought it would
(26:33):
be Billy, which is a nice twist.
And the idea that boy, Maximoff down.
They have rich inner lives.
Where they invent methods totorture other people against
their will without them knowing.
And that's just how it's gonna go.
I hope them bullies, they betterkill Tommy, cause they're in trouble.
(26:54):
That was dark.
That was.
It was.
It was.
I was like, yo, what's happening?
Jack Schafer loves okay, we'rehaving like a lot of fun.
There's musical numbers.
There's Patti LuPone with a tambourine.
Wait, what?
That's it.
Everything's awful.
Wow.
Real trauma.
So I, I don't know if there are alot of things that get left on the
(27:15):
table, but you also get ghost Agatha.
And if you think we're not going toget Catherine Hahn yasified into the
new Agatha costume, it's so true.
At some point before SecretWars, that you're just crazy.
Come on.
Do we think that this isleading to Children's Crusade?
Yes.
Cause if I think absolutely it is.
Cause I think some people areupset we didn't get Wanda.
(27:36):
I don't mind because it's inevitable.
We are getting her back.
Don't worry.
Stop panicking.
Just be patient, like I was for theselast few years, waiting for the show.
Patience.
Oh, you are, you will be rewarded.
To
add some context, Children's Crusadeis an arc with the Young Avengers
where they all band together to go helpsave Wanda and go like rescue Wanda.
(27:57):
And so I feel like we're gettingcomponents of that already with them
trying to find Tommy and the writinghas been on the wall for Children's
Crusade I feel like since WandaVisionso I'm glad we're finally getting there.
I know Aaron is going to be overjoyedthat we have more Young Avengers crumbs.
Just after sitting on the dockwaiting for anything for years, we
finally are at this point of havinga full comic accurate Wiccan costume.
What a world.
(28:18):
I'm gonna look like a Halloween costume.
House of Dragon before weget Children's Crusade.
I'll have white hair.
I just feel like, where does thatfit, like, where in the hell does
that fit with Spider Man 4 now onthere and all these other Children's
Crusade should be a Disney Plus show.
I think that'd be cool.
I don't know where thatwould fit into theatrical.
And when it comes to Wanda,I always set myself up of no,
(28:40):
they're gonna do it this time.
They're gonna do it.
They're gonna, they're gonna putthat character in there at the end.
Less so than before.
I wasn't disappointed to not see her,but I did almost psych myself into
believing we might see her in the show.
But no, I like Alex's comment here.
The revelation of him being the one tokill them was similar to WandaVision,
but darker and a good twist.
Yeah, that was like.
(29:00):
I feel like they did a good jobof honoring WandaVision and Wanda
and Billy's bloodline, basically.
Billy leaving Westview the same wayWanda did, with putting up the hood.
That, oh, I got chills when that happened.
That's her boy!
We respect and love you, Rebecca Kaplan.
You are, we can have more than one mother.
I technically have three fathers.
(29:21):
It's okay.
What about Hannah's
comment here about Vision Quest?
Does Vision Quest have Billy in it?
I would not rule that out.
I feel like there's going to at leastbe like a subplot of that show playing
off of, because even as Vision Questnews has come out, it has been billed as
this is the third chapter of WandaVisionand Agatha and then Vision Quest.
So I feel like Vision Quest is going tobe its own separate technology thing, but
(29:44):
that will definitely be a component of it.
Shout out to
BDipSupreme who said he gothis Ford Fiesta and drove away.
Vision's out there somewhere.
You might be able to get yourVision in the Ford Fiesta,
all right.
So anything else on the ag?
Oh wait.
I wanted us to rate it, butbefore we get to rating it.
Our favorite character ofthe entire MCU returned,
Ralph Boner.
(30:04):
Oh
God.
They brought Ralph Boner back.
Yeah, they did.
Honestly, the use of Ralph Bonerin Agatha was better than the use
of Ralph Boner in WandaVision.
I still hate this character's existence.
But It was a clever little bit.
And that was before I reallyeven bought in fully on Agatha.
Like those first four episodes,I was like, yeah, this is fun.
(30:25):
This is okay.
And then what, or first five, cause sixand seven were when I was finally like,
yo, I feel like my eyes just opened.
I'm in how did we feel about.
I felt
some sense of closure because Ifelt I feel like he, even if he
is still Jimmy Wu's witness, whichbecause of like the deleted scene
from WandaVision, but deleted scenesaren't necessarily canon, people.
(30:47):
But he, but like his name, I was reallyconvinced his name wasn't really Ralph
Boner because who at the ripe age of 30years old laughs at their own last name?
Scott, geez!
Wow.
Thank you.
I lost my train of thought.
It's about boners.
Oh you lost your train of thought.
It happens to
the best of us when you startthinking about Scott's donation
and boners at the same time.
(31:07):
Ralph boners at the same time.
That's good.
Let's just pivot to SupuSamurai's comment here.
What
are
the chances of a Wanda movie?
Again, to me, that justgoes back to where?
When?
There's a whole ARMA Studiostimeline out there through 2028 now.
I think it's inevitable though.
I think Jack Schafer left Vision Questbecause she's gonna make a Wanda show.
(31:30):
A movie.
Ah!
I'm sorry, I'm still thinkingabout the boat, Scott, the boater.
Yeah, wow.
Yes, I think we're getting a Wanda movie.
100%.
Scarlet Witch.
Solo movie.
I'll put money on it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think it's at some pointthey'd be silly not to.
And Elizabeth Olsen seems like somebodywho enjoys playing the character.
Fingers crossed.
I'm just gonna switch you guyscause Aaron, cause Aaron's head
(31:52):
won't be close to the logo there.
All right, we're going to go around.
We're going to go clockwise with a 10score on Agatha all along before we
talk about the DC universe for a bit.
Over 900 people watching right now.
We almost hit a thousand earlier on one.
Channel.
The only channel with Phase Hero on italmost hit a thousand concurrent viewers.
Thank you for that everybody.
(32:12):
Jamie Agatha all along outof 10 have you laying that?
I was really hoping
that in Phase Hero we were gonnado an out of five, but you didn't
give that gift to me and that's fine
I thought maybe that would be agift to old Jamie Jak, but no.
Fine.
Is it 10 Outta 10?
What do you think?
I'm gonna give it Anything else?
That's a 10.
Outta 10 baby
(32:33):
Aaron.
I think it's probably about an eight.
Or I'm so happy that this cashed outbecause the entire lead up to this,
the entire internet was like, but whyare you giving Catherine Hahn a show?
There's so many other things to do.
And now we're all richer for it.
Jenna?
I think I'm safely at an 8 as well.
(32:55):
I think that it takes a littlewhile to really get into the groove
of what the show is trying to do.
But once it does, episode 5,episode 6, everything from that
point onward is just unbelievable.
Like the Lillia flashback episode, jumping in and out of time with
that, I'm going to be thinkingabout that for a really long time.
So like that alone helps me.
Make this show so special to me.
(33:16):
Dig it.
For me, the show went like this.
All considered, I'm at a 7.
I'm at a 7 Which, honestly, Ifeel like I can give it a decimal.
I feel like 7.
1.
7.
1.
That's fair.
I guess that's fair.
I think all of you are being reasonable.
Yeah.
A.
Carter, what's up?
Thank you for hanging with us.
Welcome to the chat.
Yeah, so 10 plus 8, plus 7, that's18, 26, 33, divided by 4, I don't know
(33:43):
what that comes out to, that's like a,something like an 8 point something.
Where's the calculator?
You always use a calculator for this.
27.
I've never used a calculator before.
Ha, ever.
Never in his
life.
Oh yeah let's save that for another show, cause we got, I think we can talk more
about the fallout of Agatha all along.
I see.
Can we talk about Jen coming back?
(34:03):
There are some loose ends to this show.
I think as the oh wait, I didn't meanto put that comment up there, but
listen, I still love the show, Liam.
Yeah Jamie got a kick out of that one.
I did.
You put it on the screen.
It was actually totally an accidentbecause I was just trying to click
out of the last, listen, I got theseare some fast fingers right now.
Yeah.
Wow, they're jokes.
The jokes are riding themselveswith this whole, anyway.
(34:26):
Alright, so that's our Agatha review.
It's a, what was it, an 8.
what?
8.
3.
8.
3 out of 10, the
first ever Phase Hero review
score.
That's pretty good.
That's pretty good.
Agatha was good.
I'm so happy.
I knew.
And I just want to say one thingabout Jennifer Kahle, maybe
give me Jennifer Kahle and Mannthing in live action please.
(34:49):
That duo, I want it so bad.
There's actually, I have a, an interviewon this very channel with Michael
Giacchino, director of Werewolf byNight, and I got him to talk about that.
He believes they're gonna, Dude, they'regonna get to it, and I think he said it
like offhandedly Like I don't know if thatwas like a with insights type of response,
but he was very Giving with the insightsabout that and clearly optimistic all
right, let's talk about the dc universeUp next the penguin and the dc universe.
(35:15):
I have a question for you guys andI put it on the bottom of the screen
Is the Penguin the bestcomic book show in years?
That's
Okay, I'll just go.
It's That's hard to answer.
Because I think the Penguin is AMAZING.
It is pink, top tier, A plus TV.
(35:38):
But, I It doesn't feellike a comic book show.
So to call it the best comic bookshow in years is aw I'm Also,
personally, Agatha's more my jam.
So I'm I can't say I likePenguin more than Agatha because
they're not really comparable.
They're like completely different things.
So to say yes to that, no.
Is it one of the best shows?
Maybe.
Comic book shows?
(35:58):
No, because no part of itfeels like a comic book show.
Jenna, I feel like you agree.
Let's also
clarify, we'll stay spoilerfree here on Penguin.
Just in case anybody hasn't watchedPenguin, we'll share some insights on it.
But we'll stay spoiler free.
Because I know this was started as Agathaand everybody's up to date on Agatha.
I know everybody might notbe up to date on Penguin.
So if you want to come back, make sure you subscribe.
I saw the I saw a solid drop inviewership when we switched to Penguin.
(36:21):
And all the comments were like,we haven't watched it yet.
Image Comics own James Viscardi.
Penguin ain't one night GTFO Brandon.
For those listening, I know we havekids, but also we don't have rules.
So we could sound out GTFO, butafter I said, I know we have kids
listening, it would feel wrong.
But the point is, yes, every oncein a while some human language
might slip on the channel here.
So just a heads up on that.
(36:42):
Unless like you're a brand and youwant to throw a 10, 000 at us to be
sponsored by you and you don't want usto say any certain words, that's cool.
But, if you work for Old Spice or Xboxor something and you're listening,
hi, there's 750 people watching.
Anyway, The Penguin, Jenna,Erin, you guys, you're both
up to date on this, right?
I am.
I've actually seen the entireseason, so I'm gonna be very wary
of spoilers because I don't evenremember what's happening week to week.
(37:03):
Also, I love that Jim took his jailmoney and was able to donate it to Orchid
Cause to say Moon Knight was better.
I agree with Jamie.
I think that there are twosides to this argument.
I think the Penguin is one of thebetter in recent memory examples of
taking a comic concept and turningit into a very watchable thing.
prestige, high quality televisionshow, even then I've seen so much
(37:23):
discourse around it of Oh, thisis nothing like the Sopranos.
This is nothing like othermafia mob things or whatever.
It doesn't matter.
It's still great.
But at the same time, to Jamie'spoint it both isn't comic book y.
There are elements of it that are veryreminiscent of how the Noir crime Gotham
aspect is in the comics, but then thereare aspects that are completely a new
territory because of medium of televisionSo I think both things are totally
(37:47):
valid, but I definitely think in termsof quality There's no way that shows
not like sweeping the Emmys next year.
Like it is definitely.
Yeah Kristen Milioti
needs an Emmy.
She's amazing.
I took a picture to her to mylast salon appointment because I
wanted a Sophia Gagante haircut.
But then she cut it again!
And I don't think I can pull that one off.
The new cut?
I don't think I can do that.
I will have so we're going todo a Penguin episode of Faye's
(38:10):
Hero on the Monday morning afterthe finale here on the channel.
Turn on, whatever you have to do.
We'll be tweeting about it too.
So you don't miss that.
But we were going to do it Sunday night.
But honestly, I have avideo going up Sunday night.
That has some really interestingquotes from the cast and stuff that
I'm very excited for because we gotthe penguin cast on the channel too.
You can't stop it.
(38:30):
Stop.
Oh, no.
If I sing a song, it'll like,we'll get we'll want to taking
chances, but our Alex is coming.
That's been up for an hour now.
Penguin is better than the Batman.
I also agree.
I agree also.
Okay.
Aaron.
I just, man, that's bold, man.
I, you don't know how many times whenI have a loud step in this house,
(38:50):
I just do a part of G2No theme.
Like anytime I do anything,I'm like, oh yeah, let's go.
Stompy boots time.
But I had to think about thisquestion cause it's 97 was this year.
Like I said, when they announced, I'mlike, I don't know if that's a good idea.
(39:13):
And they carried thatthrough like gangbusters.
So maybe we just blessed a Cape crusader.
It wasn't shabby either.
If you're into the animated sideof the DC stuff, that's a little
bit more of my speed, even thoughthat's darker than probably Batman
animated series was on broadcasttelevision on kids WB here in the U S.
Using the tiny tunes adventurescolor palette to render, teaching
(39:35):
us about poverty, income inequality.
I, man, we got one more episode.
You know what?
If the finale is a banger Iprobably have to let that go.
Joe Deckelmeyer and them, I see black.
And then one of us said thatit's like the best DC show ever.
And I was like, I don't evenknow about that because Washman.
That's my jam.
I love that.
(39:57):
And that's that.
I feel like that standsup to this show too.
But all things considered for ashow when they said, I'm like, Colin
Farrell was really funny in theBatman, but does he really need,
seven hours, eight hours of program?
Apparently but really, ChristinaVigatti needs seven hours.
eight hours of programming.
That's probably what we needed.
This is Succession meetsSopranos, and it's amazing.
(40:19):
It's horrible people doing horriblethings, yet for some reason you
find yourself rooting for somemore than others, and then you
root for the others more than some.
It's just, it's perfect.
Episode four KristenMilioti's work is incredible.
The makeup on Colin Farrell,we saw it on the Batman, we're
seeing it again on the Penguin.
It's fantastic.
The grounded nature of it, I don't reallycare that it's not super comic book y.
It's honoring comics in verycreative ways, I have to say that.
(40:42):
And at the same time, doing somethingreally grounded, which I really enjoy.
I think, best show in years?
Why did I ask this question ifI didn't have an answer anyway?
Super Samurai.
I like Penguin, but I don't reallycare about Oz's or the kids storylines.
Yo, Vic, Victor Aguilar, my guy.
Come on, yo.
Come on.
It's so good to see
(41:03):
Renzi back in a comic bookshow as a Runaways fan.
He's crushing it.
One rule here, just becauseyou super comment doesn't mean
we have to agree with you.
Becky Z.
Great to have you.
You're happy.
We're happy.
We're happy.
You're happy.
Thank you for hanging.
All right, let's get real quick.
I don't want to go toolong over an hour here.
(41:24):
We want to try to practicekeeping it tight on phase hero
more about the DC Universe.
Jenna has a lot to say here.
She put some great notes in our rundownand there's just a lot DC's cooking
and we still talk about Marvel TV.
We got to watch the sizzle together.
So let's get through DC Universe.
Yeah, so I, BD poised the questionin the rundown, and I wanted to
(41:46):
extrapolate what we know about theDCU and see which project everyone
is the most hyped for going forward, because stuff's really heating up.
We have Creature Commandoscoming out in early December.
Again, if you want to hear a reallydetailed breakdown of that latest
trailer, go to my YouTube channel.
Superman has wrapped and is comingout next July, and James Gunn said
on Threads in reply to his podcast, post about my YouTube video,
which is still the weirdest thing.
(42:07):
He said that he is currently working onthe trailer, so it seems like that is in
the pipeline to be out sooner than later.
And then in January, filming is goingto begin on both the Lanterns HBO show,
which Lanterns stars Kyle Chandler asHal Jordan, Aaron Pierre as Jon Stewart.
I love it because we can never letthe bit of our Aaron be forgotten.
being in a superhero thing fully diebecause Aaron Pierre was supposed
(42:27):
to be in Blade, was not in Bladeanymore, and now we get to talk
to about him being in Lanterns.
So he's going to be Jon Stewart andthen just today it was announced
that Kelly McDonald is going to becast as new character Sheriff Carrie.
Showrunners include Damon Lindelof whodid Lost and Watchmen Chris Mundy who
did Ozark and comic writer Tom King, and then Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow,
which is the movie for 2026, is alsogoing to start production in January.
(42:50):
So what are we the most excited for?
I want to hear everyone else'sanswers before I start yapping.
You want me to go?
All right.
I feel like I have to roll with Kozocause man, my, my Twitter lights up
anytime he gets casted, anything.
Everybody's Aaron, saythe thing, do the thing.
And I was like, why do Ihave 120 mentions on Twitter?
(43:13):
What happened?
Oh, Okay.
All right.
I'm hoping we've been hearing aboutthis lantern show for three years.
So James, if you can get thisthing over the finish line
and deliver something else.
So we can talk about somethingelse with Green Lantern apart.
I know there's a bit ofcontroversy with him getting Kaz.
I am fully aware.
(43:34):
Maybe not everybody'spicked to be Jon Stewart.
But I'm excited to seethe procedural in space.
And what shape it takes.
What am I most excited about?
Since I'm big on the screen?
Peacemaker Season 2, baby!
Give it to
me!
I need it!
It's been two years!
I want it so bad!
(43:55):
That's mine.
Peacemaker season 2 is gonna be good.
I think it's just Superman for me.
Because it's the launch, it's the wholeuniverse, it's starting the whole thing.
I am very, even out of curiosity, excitedto see what James Gunn does with it.
I think when that trailerarrives, it is gonna be a moment.
I think the smartest thing WB and DCStudios have done in a while is not
(44:17):
release the Superman trailer with Joker 2.
And allow the darkness to get out.
And here's, you know what, you wantto get the first clip ready for first.
I told you so profitmoment of a phase hero.
I'll bet you.
We get the Superman trailer withMoana too, because Moana too
is, or wicked at the latest.
I don't know which onecomes out first, actually.
(44:40):
Which one comes out first?
I think
Wicked and Gladiator are first.
And then I think Moana is the week later.
Okay, so one of those two, I'll bet you.
But Moana 2 at the latest may be Wicked.
But I think we get that Supermantrailer in November of 2024.
And I think it's going to be a moment.
I think, James Gunn knowshow to cut a trailer.
He's already said he's working on it.
So I think that's goingto be an awesome moment.
(45:01):
In geek
fandom here on Phase Hero,
we'll talk about it as fast as we can.
Just be excited and share our thoughts.
But I think Superman is going to be,there's so much pressure on that movie.
I feel for James Conn, man.
I think that it has to be good.
And I think for that reason, I thinkJames Gunn understands characters.
He's not going to make a crude, ridiculous Superman movie.
(45:23):
I think he's going to make a comicbook movie in really exciting ways.
So for me, it's Superman.
I'm yapping.
Vanessa, super sticker.
What's up?
Casually cosplaying Nashville zone.
What's up?
Thanks for hanging long live phase hero.
You legend Elliot.
Oh my God.
What are we going todo with all those guys?
We'll
figure this out off Mike.
I just have to say for me, my answer, itis like picking a favorite child in terms
(45:46):
of which product I'm the most excitedfor, but I do think Superman, to BD's
point, is gonna be something so specialI cannot think about that movie for too
long without just getting goosebumpseven just the reveal of Crypto, and
just seeing the dog design for that justmade me so over the moon if we really do
get to a point, if Fantastic Four FirstSteps is not delayed, and we really do
get those two movies in the span of amonth, I'm about to be super excited
(46:07):
So insufferable in July of next year.
Like you guys have no idea.
I am so happy,
Jamie.
Are you a little excitedfor wicked down there?
Oh my God.
I have my tickets, me and mybest friend Jake are going.
I'm listen, is it going to be good?
I don't care.
I've waited 20 years for this.
I can't, I cannot wait.
(46:30):
The wait,
what are they pulling up?
Doing it small.
I don't want to show the email address.
This is a delicate
dance you're doing here.
Yeah, this is, nobody's goingto be able to read that.
What is it?
Nevermind.
Keep
your secrets.
Yeah.
Alright.
What do we DC chat.
We can talk about Wicked.
(46:51):
We can do a Wicked.
Jamie, you want to talk about Wicked?
We can talk about Wicked.
We can talk about whatever we want.
Alright.
Let's let's move on toour final topic here.
Oh man.
And let's scan through it likea bunch of bosses in real time.
So can we get some backstorythough before we hit play?
Yes.
About how this user was released.
(47:11):
Aaron gives me a phone call yesterdayevening, and Aaron and I talk on
the phone a lot, but usually, I hadjust texted Aaron something and then
immediately got a phone call, and I waslike, there's no way Aaron's calling
me about what I just texted, and Aaronis like, are you near a TV, are you
home, pull up Disney press play onAgatha episode 1, and I'm like, and I'm
like, I did the finale leak already.
What's going on?
(47:32):
And it was this teaser thathad been released early.
We then called BD, freaked out, madesure Jamie was aware, freaked out.
Like this was the coolest wayto gorilla market this teaser.
Like I, I don't understandreally how it got released this
early, but I love that it did.
I just have to say that.
Just so fitting for Agatha, which changed title so many
times and did all that stuff.
(47:53):
I was sitting on the couch herewatching the world series with my mom.
Watch out I got that right now!
Go press play right now, I got that!
I did, I was like, oh,here goes my next hour.
Alright, let's watchit together, shall we?
I brought
you
here
(48:13):
to offer you an opportunity.
I smell what you're stepping in.
This gonna get good.
Spent some time, hasn't it?
You've come up in the world.
I could say the same about you.
I wonder if your darker half would agree.
(48:40):
Exactly what kind of a lawyer are you?
Hey, really good one.
Miss
me?
I wanna build something undeniable.
Anyone who's ever accomplishedanything iconic in life
(49:02):
has had to do some questionablethings to get it done.
For an adventure.
The battle they will sing about for ages.
You
can slate whenever you're ready.
Simon Williams, reading for Wonder Man.
(49:23):
I was born to play this character.
And we both have a lot riding onthis You better not mess this up.
I know I am ready
I am marvel
jesus
We have a long road ahead of us much to
(49:47):
do Yeah, amazing,
that's
a really good teaser
It is good fam, I
guess start right here though thisshot right here has loads of stuff.
(50:08):
Ironheart, Daredevil, Wonder Man.
That shot at the bottom, the black and white one.
I can't tell what that is.
I thought it was the Hulk.
Not Josh Gad.
I, see, I saw people online saythat it was Josh Gad because he
was heavily rumored to be appearingin Wonder Man, and so I wouldn't
rule anything out at this point.
I don't know.
(50:28):
Where can we find the podcast, asks Scott.
We will Get this out on podcast platforms.
As soon as I figure out how I promiseon all major podcast platforms.
I believe the landing page isalready set up, but I will do
everything I can to make that happen.
Thank you, Scott.
You're too kind to my friend.
Yeah, okay, wait, so it's maybeit's Josh Gad that you have Friendly
Neighborhood Spider Man down there.
(50:49):
Daredevil villain next to Wolverine
right down there, right?
Yeah White Tiger, yeah.
New Rockstar says Josh Gad.
If Eric Voss says it, it has to be true.
Eyes of Wakanda, I feel I just want tosay to everybody, I feel like all four
of us, if we had ever talked beforeabout Eyes of Wakanda or seen anything
before about Eyes of Wakanda, I feel likeSeeing the animation make it out into
(51:09):
the world now, a lot of people would wantto say, we've been trying to tell you.
I
forgot that we were spoiled and hadpreviously seen the footage when we
saw the footage in the before timesbecause my fiance Chris was texting
his brother and they were like, wow,we're blown away by the animation style
of Eyes of Wakanda and I was like, ohyeah, that's not common knowledge yet.
I'm glad everyone can seehow cool that show looks.
(51:32):
Yeah, absolutely.
Punisher's back.
I love that Punisher's back.
All right.
Let's watch this one time through.
If we miss it, if we don'tpause, we're still going.
It's a clean white suit there, Kingpin.
Clean white suit.
Nobody embarrass that man right now.
Do not embarrass him in this situation.
Especially
with Vanessa.
The batons.
That's cool.
Come through.
I love this scene.
We saw that scene at D23.
Jamie went to D23 more than once.
Twice!
Yeah.
(51:53):
Is that, who's this that he,that Daredevil's fighting?
Love the red suit, by the way.
I don't know.
It's like a blue villain.
Yeah.
Oh, I lied.
I went back and looked.
It's not White Tiger.
I don't think.
No.
The angle's
not the best, too early to say.
Just big action, brokennecks, there we go.
They took the f word out of the iconiclines from Deadpool and Wolverine,
so clearly they downed they sauceddown the violence on Daredevil,
(52:17):
which I still believe is super Rrated, as they've been advertising.
Coleman Domingo playing Norman Osbornin this is going to be awesome, by the
way, in Friendly Neighborhood Spider Man.
I love the animation.
This kid definitely
has a major concussion.
I have
like war flashbacks to the SpiderMan PS4 game where it's just oh, I'm
just lightly concussing every singleenemy that I'm fighting in this game.
(52:38):
Wild to see an animation.
Goodness gracious.
All right.
What's next?
Ironheart.
Yo, this suit inIronheart looks fantastic.
And also I gotta say the hoodsaying anybody who's found like
certain levels of success did somequestionable stuff to get there.
I feel like in a lot of kids, too many cases, that's true.
And if we deny it, I think that's themaking of a good villain right there.
(52:58):
I think that's about to be a good villain.
You want to do everythingyou can as purely as you can.
But I do think a lot of people whobecome successful do some maybe
questionable stuff to get there.
Not us.
We're all perfect, but I don't thinkwe're going to be hood villains.
The hood villains to be clear.
(53:18):
I love this suit.
The character, the hood villain.
We're very clear on what I meant.
He's got the Uso's tattoos.
Yee.
We got this Ironheart suit.
I think looks awesome.
Just looks awesome.
I'm so much better.
(53:39):
Okay, let's talk about that.
Is this suit better thanthe Wakanda Forever suit?
I easily say yes.
What do you guys say?
Yes.
That doesn't seem like they were rushed.
Also, I feel, I get the feelingthat this ain't gonna be the
only suit we see, that is true.
It has a finale.
It has
a finale.
It has a finale!
Woo!
He's
(54:00):
been
burned so much, y'all.
Coleman is Norman Osborne.
I got to announce that when I hostedthe Marvel animation panel at D23.
And Coleman is one of the nicestpeople I've known Coleman for years.
And it was an absolute privilegeto introduce him on that stage.
And he is genuinely not only one ofthe most talented people that I'm happy
to see getting his flowers lately.
(54:21):
One of the kindestindividuals I've ever met.
All right, let's keep moving here.
We got this truck smash.
Awesome.
Honestly, this, these 20 seconds ofIronheart got me excited for that.
What if season three?
Oh, Jamie, calm down.
Oh,
Jamie.
Who was that?
That was Phil Coulson!
He's there!
I Instagram storied this and Itagged Clark Gregg just to see if
(54:44):
he'd say anything, just yeah, it isme, but he didn't, he ignored it.
I can't confirm or deny if that'sClark Gregg, but I'm sure it is.
There's no other Coulson.
They're not gonna, I can't imagine wehave Coulson and it's not Clark Gregg,
but I'm so excited for some Coulson.
Maybe we'll get some other characters.
I don't know.
This is why Brad Winterbaumwas watching Agents of S.
H.
I.
E.
L.
D.
Maybe.
(55:04):
As revealed on the Lidopanel at LA Comic Con.
All right, let's keep it moving.
The Gundam Captain Americaover there looks sick.
Marvel Zombies looks really cool.
We got Blade as Moon Knight beforeGTA six and before the Blade movie.
It feels like we're going toget everything in life before
the Blade movie at this point.
But that's a story for another pod.
Do
we think Mahershala is voicingBlade in Marvel Zombies?
(55:25):
Or do we think it's just goingto be a random other voice actor?
I think so.
Cause that's gonna be wild in the grandscheme of things, depending on how
Blade ultimately does or doesn't gointo production later on, if this is the
only performance we might get from him.
That would be wild.
Erin, Jamie, what do you think?
Yeah, I'm just, I just want Blade.
(55:46):
If it's, I'm sure it's him inthis, but are we getting him ever?
I don't know, I'm starting to losehope, I'm starting to get negative.
Jamie Greene.
We have Blade already.
We got Blade once this year already.
You're
right.
You're right.
It's just insatiable.
Yeah.
I want Mahershala Blade,is what I'm saying.
Oh,
man.
(56:06):
There's only ever gonna be one Blade.
What
comes first, Blade or Reputation TV?
My Lady comes on
time.
Yes.
Wonder Man.
We have to talk about Wonder Man.
Wonder Man looks
great.
Simon Williams is here.
Yeah, listen, I don't think we're gettingWanda in the show, but I want it so
bad the two of them Oh, I can't that'dbe so hot But also, I just love that
(56:29):
Trevor's back anytime we get Trevor.
I'm thrilled
I remember being so pissed at that twistlike ten years ago now And I'm over it.
I forgive him.
Trevor's pure entertainment at this point.
I'm really curious about likehow meta this show is going to be
because when he's I'm literallyauditioning for the part of Wonder Man.
It's like how does the superherocomponent come into this?
Is it a thing where it's justthe role that he's playing?
(56:52):
Does he actually become like I'm verycurious to see, like this footage gives
us no indication whatsoever, but evenhaving that twist in there is really cool.
Eyes of Wakanda, beautifulanimation anthology series.
I know a little bit more about this seriesthan has been said, and I don't know what
I shouldn't say, so I'm going to shut up.
There was like, yeah, so whatdo you guys think of this?
(57:15):
It looks beautiful.
Yeah, I mean there's even more thaty'all haven't seen if you haven't
seen more footage of it You just wait.
It's good.
Yeah yes
By
the way brian Lawrence, you're the man.
Deadpool and Wolverine now on 4k.
I bought a copy of it.
I started listening tothe commentary track.
(57:36):
I've been so busy the past couple daysreally trying to get this ready because
we decided literally last night whatthis would be called in the first place.
But I started listening to it andthey really he talks quite a bit about
having Tony Stark planned for that sceneand like what they were going to do
and all the different versions of it.
So there's a lot of easter eggs rightthere and love for the late Raymond Chan.
Production designer who did great work.
(57:58):
But I can't wait to finish thatthat, that commentary track while
I'm awake and have a moment to do it.
Marvel Jesus.
All right.
What's the Thanos Marvel zombies?
Kingpin Ironheart.
Yeah.
So they're all Punisher.
Yup.
All right.
So that's enough of that.
Marvel TV put out a bangerscissor reel sizzle reel.
I feel like we.
(58:19):
Are really on our way to some reallygood stuff in 2025 And i'm really
excited for the future of marvel thefuture of dc the future of movies the
future of tv And to talk about it withyou guys and to talk about it with our
audience we're gonna wrap up the show.
I have a few Words that I want tosay to end the show so i'll go around
aaron Anything you want to say toend our first episode of phase hero?
(58:40):
I just want to thank everybodyfor taking this journey with us.
The outpouring has been so solovely to see and it's at some of
Lake Hornet go follow my co hosts.
Thank you all for your generosity.
I don't, it's been a long conversationafter we get off the old camera.
I did not expect that.
You know how many months ofDisney plus y'all just bought?
Like I tell you, y'all bought an annualpass holder pass to Walt Disney World
(59:04):
and they just raised the price this week.
So thank you guys.
Jamie Jurek.
Yeah I want to say, when Agathawas coming, it was really
sad not to have a podcast.
And I want to shout out the directpodcast, Slayerfest 98, Agents of
Fandom, Comboqueers, We're WatchingWhat, and The Break Room for having
me on an Agatha podcast tour.
And it was really somethingspecial though, to come and
(59:25):
create Phase Zero, Phase Hero!
AHH!
Phase Hero for the finale.
That was like really a specialthing that we got to come together
and do something for the finale.
It was.
I'm just so happy and that we're togetherand I can't wait for what's next.
Also, I think it's time.
I just a quick quick pouringout for Sharon Davis.
I
(59:49):
miss her.
She will be missed.
Yes.
Jenna, any last words for today's
episode of Phase Hero?
It's

It already the outpouring of love thatI've gotten has just already meant the
world So and I cannot overstate how happyI am to be doing this with you guys to
have the outpouring of love that we'vegotten In the comment section on Twitter.
It means more than you guys can ever know.
That's what I'll say
Yeah, it means the worldthat we are able to do this.
(01:00:31):
It's very unexpected.
I assume, under different circumstanceswe would have preferred, but you know
what, I feel like we have ownershipof something that is ours to build,
that is ours to do whatever we wantwith, to say whatever we want on, to
be genuine, to build a community on,
and that is Phase Hero.
We are our own heroes, we'rebuilding a new door, and we're
(01:00:51):
having a good time doing it.
And honestly, I hope not only that weget to take away an awesome community
with this new show that we're doingbut I really want to be able to help
funnel people to U3 and continuethings like Jenna's YouTube channel.
Like Jamie's podcast, Aaron, Iknow you're, whenever, wherever you
decide to do next I want to keepsupporting that because we had a
(01:01:13):
thousand people watching and thisis our first episode concurrently.
I have no idea how many people total, but at one time we had a thousand.
watching our first episode.
That's insane.
So I want to thank you three forhanging out with me tonight and
just being my friends through life.
Like you guys are, in the meetingswe've had developing phase hero.
(01:01:33):
I think you can tell just evenlike trust issues run deep in me.
And I try to get ahead of those andI try to just overthink everything
and take care of people and make surethat I'm being taken care of too.
And I, with you three, I neverhave to worry about that.
Because I just this is likegenuinely everybody watching.
This is for friends.
Just yapping about shit.
We like to talk about, and we can say shit now.
(01:01:55):
It's fun.
It's, we're here for fun.
So on Friday, Aaron and I willbe yapping with Agatha all along.

A lot of content that I am posting.
(01:02:16):
There's Ultraman Risingstuff coming to the channel.
I got to go to Skywalker Ranch.
There will be Gladiator 2 premiereinterviews on this channel that I'm
very excited about in a few weeks.
There will be a major DC Universeinterview coming to this channel that I
am so excited to share with everybody.
That it also just shot up 150subscribers in the past hour.
That's just great.
That's so cool.
And I want to show that love and makesure it's reciprocated and say thank you.
(01:02:38):
A couple of specific people, Idon't even know if they're watching.
I know some of them were watchingat the beginning of the show
but the past two months havebeen really interesting for me.
They've been really challenging andanxiety inducing, but simultaneously,
this has been super fulfilling.
And so the almost 500 peoplewho are still listening to me on
my little emotional rant here.
Thank you.
I have my three friends here as likehostages and they have to listen, but
(01:03:00):
everybody else, you're here voluntarily.
You just closed out.
People be like, where'd Aaron go?
But but like seriously, in the time since.
In the past couple of months, sincethe before times and now in the current
times there have been people who havebeen really helpful, and that's you
three, and there's some people who aren't
a part of Phase Hero, and
I want to thank them.
(01:03:21):
Chris Van Vliet has been a Massivesupporter of my work and my ability
to understand how this all works.

Thank you.
I've, I wanted to keep it to an hour.

But that's what this isgoing to come down to.
We are nothing without thesupport of the people around us
and the people who watch this.
So thank you to everybody.
Thank you to you threefor joining tonight.
And just having fun.
And thanks to the studios that arestill working with us on anything and
(01:04:43):

It's unbelievable.
So I forgot to load the outro video.
Great,
I have an outro, which is, don't worryeverybody, the Venom Pact is still on.
Yeah, we didn't mention the Venom episode.
We'll be talking about Venom soon, to findout if we will be getting Venom tattoos.
Will we?
I don't know.
(01:05:04):
I loved pivoting from Beedie makingus all cry to reminding everyone
about the horse tattoo bet.
That is the spectrum you need
in
a
relationship.
Tell
them about their phones.
Oh yeah, Jamie, you didn't say the thing.
Yeah.
What am I saying?
Dater etiquette.
The theater.
Oh I felt like I, I messed up, so Iwas, I didn't want to talk anymore.
(01:05:24):
Listen, play
our show for your dad, play it for your cat.
We'll see you on Friday with Mary Lovanos.
