These are stories of hope and help produced by Operation Renewed Hope (OperationRenewedHope.org). In this series, we discuss the stories from disaster relief efforts in the United States and throughout the world. We also feature stories from our medical mission trips conducted in remote regions of the world where medical care is not routinely available.

On July 4, 2025 a violent flash flood crashed through the Guadalupe River valley in Kerr county, Texas. The flood waters rose more than 26 feet. During the ORH Boot Camp, we asked some of the teens and staff what they were learning and how their training would be used on the mission field during upcoming medical mission trips.
On March 28, 2025, a magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck Myanmar. At this writing, more than 3100 people are known to be dead with many more missing. Undoubtedly, hundreds are trapped beneath the rubble of the widespread devastation.
