  1. Seed Cycling:

    • Phase I (Follicular Phase): Involves consuming flax seeds and pumpkin seeds. These seeds are rich in phytoestrogens and omega-3 fatty acids, which can help balance estrogen levels.

    • Phase II (Luteal Phase): Involves consuming sunflower seeds and sesame seeds. These seeds provide lignans and essential fatty acids, which support progesterone production and hormone balance​ 

  2. Tracking Your Phase with the Moon:

    • Some people align their seed cycling with the lunar phases. The new moon to full moon can represent the follicular phase, and the full moon to new moon can represent the luteal phase. This approach can help synchronize the body's rhythms with natural cycles, potentially enhancing hormonal balance.

  3. PCOS Study & Seed Cycling (2023):

    • A 2023 study explored the effects of seed cycling on women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). The findings suggest that seed cycling can help regulate menstrual cycles, reduce symptoms of PCOS, and improve overall hormonal health by providing a natural source of nutrients that support endocrine function.
