On today’s episode of “Harder to Breathe'', host and founding drummer of “Maroon 5” Ryan Dusick is joined by co-host and actor Brian “Duck” Maillard for an instantly engaging, inspiring, and uplifting conversation with Musician, Coach, and Speaker Brant Menwar.
Brant spent years as a touring musician, hopping around the country in a van or in whatever vehicle was available as he moved from gig to gig. It wasn’t until the tragic death of his son that he decided to become a Keynote Speaker and Coach, and began to work to inspire hope in others.
Today, Brant's speech centers around the idea of “Non-Negotiable Values”. What are the 5 things that, no matter what, you are unwilling to compromise in your life? In his words, most people are unable to define these things, and without a clear definition of your values, it’s impossible to know what direction to take in life.
While other speakers and coaches often focus on self-empowerment, which oftentimes runs counterintuitively to Ryan’s more therapeutic approach, Brant’s coaching is much simpler. It’s about finding and defining the core of who you are, and what you believe, and using that greater understanding of self to propel you forward. Brant’s speaking is as engaging as it gets, and this is a fantastic opportunity to hear his ideas firsthand– right here on the “Harder to Breathe” Podcast.
