=== SNIPPETS FROM THE SUMMIT ===  One of the most frequent questions I get is where to meet women, especially out there in the real world instead of online. Well, what if I told you there was a new type of venue that's popping up at a crazy fast rate all over the country? And all the sexy women are showing up, mostly waiting around for someone like you to socialize with them. AND...you don't have to buy them drinks, it's not too noisy to talk, and it's usually in broad daylight. AND...it won't break the bank. Yes sir, it exists. And you're about to get all the details. >> Scot McKay (00:01):
You're listening to Snippets from the Summit
with your host, Scot McKay.
Gentlemen, this is your main man, Scot McKay coming at you again with another
snippet from the Summit as part of the Mountaintop
podcast from X and Y Communications.
As I love to do today, I'm
going to introduce you to a

(00:23):
creative and relatively modern way
to go out there and meet some women that nobody else is
talking about. And you know,
post Covid, you've heard me talk about getting out
there and doing karaoke, kind of getting out of your
comfort zone a little bit. I've talked about the yes
and tactic that comes from

(00:43):
doing comedic improv where anything
a woman would say, you follow it up with something that builds on
the conversation by saying yes. And I've done an
entire program on that that you can get by going to
mountaintoppodcast.com yesand
and today I'm going to give you a third option
above and beyond simply going into the produce

(01:03):
section, finding a woman standing next to avocados
and saying, hey, how do you choose avocados? This is
going to be something brand new, like I said, you've never heard of
before, at least ins souch as it pertains to
meeting women. And what I'm going to talk about
is pickleball.
Now, if you haven't heard of the game of
pickleball itself yet, yeah, you're probably

(01:26):
hiding under a rock or something. Probably been hiding
under a rock. Pickleball has taken the
country by storm, kind of
alongside and with equal force to how
AI has come along. Pickleball is not going
to be a fad, just like AI is not going to be a fad. Although
pickleball is very different than AI because you're
actually going out there dealing with real,

(01:48):
actual people in real life. Yes, we're talking
about being social IRL here.
So what is pickleball, for those of you who are uninitiated?
Well, simply put, it's kind of like crossing tennis
with ping pong. Now they have
pickleball courts at gyms, they
have pickleball courts in neighborhoods now.

(02:08):
And here in San Antonio at least, they're building entire
facilities completely devoted to
pickleball. This is something
people are really enjoying. Why?
Well, you know, it's like playing tennis, but you don't have
to run quite as hard or extend yourself quite as much.
But it's a lot better than ping pong because at least you're getting some
exercise, you're moving a little bit. Think about a,

(02:31):
half sized court compared to tennis
and using hard paddles and whiffle balls. No
one's going to get hurt. They're not going to be 120 mile
an hour serves. Anybody can play
pickleball. And it's extremely social
because you're so close together on the court.
And oh yes, pickleball apparently doesn't
break the bank either. Not only is the equipment pretty

(02:54):
cheap, but you can wear your normal tennis shoes. And courts aren't all
that expensive to reserve either, at least relatively
speaking. Best of all, pickleball is
usually played between four people because there are
typically too few courts and too many people waiting to
play this increasingly wildly popular
game. And it's all
ages. And importantly, women love

(03:16):
pickleball. Now, you want real world examples.
I've heard from guys literally as far apart
as Florida and the state of
Washington playing pickleball and guys of
all ages from late 20s to early
70s out there having fun playing pickleball a
couple times a week and meeting all
the women who are showing up, women of

(03:38):
any age group in any city. You're going to find
pickleball. You're going to find them. And here's the great
part. They've got to be women who are at least somewhat
committed to being in pretty good shape. So by all
reports, a lot of very sexy women are out there playing
pickleball now. Also, by all
reports, there are so many people showing up

(03:58):
to play pickleball and the world has just not caught up with
the demand just yet for courts, that
a lot of your time will be spent waiting to play
your next game of pickleball with someone.
This is like going to a bar or club and
having all that time to socialize without having to
buy women drinks and without having it to be a dark,
smoky environment with some thumping disco music in

(04:21):
the background. It's reasonably quiet and sane.
It's in broad daylight, and
the women are there to play pickleball just like you
are and are open to being social with you guys.
Pickleball is a bonanza. Look up where
it's going on in your city and get you, some. And if you
have any success stories, I want to hear even more because I've already heard

(04:42):
a dozen or so and I'm sure there are more out there for you
guys who go out there and seize the day and seize a pickleball
racket and get to play some pickleball. Want to
talk about this or anything else? Scott

good out there. As
always, visit
