Asmâa shares her story growing up in Morocco being stifled as a female with ambition and desire to have her own business. She left without any support and headed to Canada where she proved herself and created a successful marketing business, but only to find herself exhausted, drained and unhappy. She took a deep inner journey and found her intuition and feminine essence that had been buried years earlier as a little girl in Morocco. Here are some of the take-aways from our conversation that I think can help anyone in excavating your most authentic self.

 

1. Don't be afraid of the blank canvas. Embrace times of change and new possibility. 
2. With regards to intuition --- if you hear a small whisper, it's your intuition. If you hear a loud voice yelling at you, it's your ego. 
3. Our bodies are incredibly wise. Pay attention to any ailment or issue as it will always point to an underlying emotional reaction to heal or address. 
4. The ultimate expression of wealth is being comfortable with yourself within and all the way through.
5. Take your pleasure seriously! Make time for pleasure and joy every single day.
