I had such a great time talking with Harriet Morris. Harriet is The Eating Coach and empowers people to achieve a 95% drop in binge eating without feeling deprived or bad about themselves. Her own journey of recovery from compulsive eating and sugar addiction started when she turned 40, which proves that life really does begin when you reach the big 4-0.
Using a blend of psychology and neuroscience to help her clients, Harriet has already used these strategies to make her own (previously all-consuming) and others compulsive eating and sugar addiction, non-issues, shed weight and truly reclaim their life from food. Her podcast The Eating Coach has had over 60,000 downloads.
During this episode, we talked about the collision of sugar and perimenopause and how it can make your symptoms heightened. Harriet talks about her realization of perimenopause, how she feels about aging, and how she is making changes in her life.
Harriet shares her wisdom of coaching others and how she uses the "hero and heroin" method and how she helps her clients get to the bottom of not only what you eat, but why you eat.

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
