Many creatives have a tendency to lean towards self-criticism and judging themselves harshly when it comes to what they create as well as themselves as artists. In this episode I dive into the reasons why we have this tendency. I also explore why it's essential to practice loving-kindness and self-compassion is essential to your creativity and thriving as an artist. When we give ourselves a nice healthy dose of loving-kindness, compassion and self-care we experience a sense of openness, warmth and well-being. This moves us closer to who we truly are as a creative.
