Los medicamentos y tratamientos hormonales es uno de los puntos que creo que trae montones de preguntas, controversia y confusión entre la comunidad. Las versiones son encontradas, las ideas también y creo que parte del motivo es porque:
- Cada persona y su sistema hormonal es diferente, por eso es que puede funcionarle a algunas personas y a otras no.
- El tejido de endometriosis es diferente al tejido del endometrio (útero) por lo tanto puede responder a las hormonas de manera distinta a como lo haría el tejido del endometrio.
- Son un tratamiento supresivo, no curativo.
