(00:00):
Whether you like it or not,
from the time you wake up
to the time you go to bed,
a lot of us
are at war with ourselves.
And within that war,
you have several battles.
No, I’m not talking about a war
that you might find in the Coliseum.
I’m talking about a war
that’s in your brain.
That war exists
because life has so many choices.

(00:21):
And within those choices,
you gotta make right decisions.
But you know what?
F*ck that.
When the alarm goes off in the morning,
you don’t have to wake up.
Don’t wake up, don’t worry about that.
When you’re in school,
you know what, f*ck that man,
it’s too hard to study.
So don’t study.
You know what, don’t eat healthy.
Because you don’t have to.

(00:42):
So guess what?
When you fail,
don’t blame your mom,
don’t blame your dad,
don’t blame teachers.
The only person you have to blame
is yourself.
Because in this day and age, right now,
if you aren’t careful,
you can slide down
the path of least resistance.
The path to weakness.
To fragility.
And the path to a lack of control

(01:02):
as to what is happening in our lives.
In your life.
But most of us are looking for
is a special f*cking feeling of,
"oh, I feel great this morning."
"I’m gonna get out of bed"
"and get a quick five miles in or go to the gym."
if you’re looking for that feeling,
let me tell you one thing,
it ain’t gonna come.
You have to learn to do
when you don’t want to do.
Learn to bring that savage mentality out of yourself.

(01:25):
The animalistic motherf*cker.
You think a savage gives a f*ck about how he feels
or how she feels?
They just do it.
Learn to be your best self
when you’re least motivated.
Stop looking for a feeling
to control what goes on in your life.
You have an obstacle to overcome?
So overcome the motherf*cker
regardless of what’s going on.
How do you win?
You have to fight,

(01:46):
you have to struggle,
you have to scrap and claw,
and you have to attack.
You have to
go.
You gotta be the master
of your mind.
You gotta exercise
mind
control.
Self-discipline
separates the success
from the failures.
There’s either the pain of discipline
or the pain of regret.

(02:07):
You get a reward for discipline,
what do you get for regret?
Guilt.
You’re going to have to discipline yourself.
It’s pain when you lift weights.
But what that pain does
is it produces muscles.
So either you’re going to go through the pain of discipline
and look a certain way
and feel a certain way
and have certain things
or the pain of regret.
You stuck.

(02:28):
You’re stuck on stupid.
You keep doing the same stupid stuff,
you’re going to get the same stupid regrets.
We losing control.
We out of control, y’all.
And here’s the crazy part,
all you got to do is look in the mirror.
All you got to do is deal with yourself,
and then we’re going to get to a whole other level.
I need you to take control
over every single area.
And we’re not going to do it in one day.

(02:48):
We’re not going to do it in 100 days.
We’re going to do it one day
at a time.
And you’re going to get control.
And when you get control over that one area,
you’re going to blow up in every area,
and then someday gonna be your day.
Every day I want you to wake up
and I want you to win the morning.
I want you to win the minute.
I want you to win the hour.
I want you to win the day.
I want us to win the week.

(03:09):
I want us to win the month.
The question now is,
are you going to win?
Are you going to discipline yourself?
Are you going to maintain?
Are you going to do what you gotta do
to win?
Are you going to do what you gotta do
so when we come out of this,
we come out victorious?
And what discipline does is

(03:29):
discipline says,
keep your eye on the prize.
Discipline says
that the prize is more important than the pain.
Discipline is constantly doing
the actions
that are required
to get the stuff that you say you want.
Discipline is constantly doing the right actions,
having the right behavior,
having the right attitude.
That’s all it is.
There’s some choices you got to make.

(03:50):
And these choices don’t have
nothing to do with how you feel.
These choices don’t have nothing to do
with what you want to do
or what you don’t want to do today.
Every decision you make,
the decisions you make on Monday,
the decisions you make on Tuesday,
the decisions you make on Wednesday,
whatever your dreams are,
your decisions have to be in alignment with them.
Discipline means
that you dominate when you feel like it
and you dominate when you don’t feel like it.

(04:11):
It’s hard.
It’s not easy.
Every day you wake up,
you’re going to have sh*t go wrong.
Every day you wake up,
you’re going to have bad things happen.
How you need to look at this,
as a f*cking test.
And there will be tests every day
that you need to pass.
And the more tests you pass,
the easier it is to pass them.
There’s going to be distractions.
Your job is to discipline yourself to a point

(04:33):
where these distractions don’t pull you off track
or you’re able to manage them.
So if you can take all the days that you feel like sh*t,
or all the days that you’re distracted,
or all the days you’re pissed off,
you don’t feel like doing it,
and you make those A plus productive days,
how the f*ck can you lose?
The answer is you can’t.
