(00:00):
It is Emojo on the morning show, keV, I asked you this question.
I don't know an hour or soago when I was talking about you
know, Dad's day, but Iasked you, have you ever been embarrassed
by your parents? I met yourdad, so I was able to get
everything complete because I've known your momnow for some time, because I met

(00:21):
her at your daughter's gender reveal. And your mom is a character. Your
dad's even more of a characters.Oh my god, like the two of
them, I see how you gotto be who you are because you are
a total personality. You're fun lovingand absolutely you know the life of a
party. Your two parents are boththat way. Usually they say opposites attract

(00:46):
No, they are almost exactly thesame. They're both entertaining. Both of
them got up to speak and tosay some words about you, and I
was in awe at what both ofthem said and the story they told.
And I'm like, okay, Ialso see this as where keV gets it
from, because you're so great atthat. Thank you, your entire family
and all your friends we met.Your best buddy is your cousin to JG.

(01:07):
Yeah, my best friend, yeahyeah yeah, And so like it
for us. It was like meetinga celebrity. When he was like,
Hi, I'm JG. I'm likej It was is really cool. Do
you get nervous though, when yourfamily is going up there to talk,
Like, hell yeah, you neverknow, you never know what they're gonna
say. And the party was amazing. I was enjoying the vibe. I

(01:27):
think at this point the food wasalready served and I expected it to be
a party, and then it turnedinto a banquet and I get annoyed when
people start talking forever. It waslike this thirty minute window. It's like,
we don't eat all of this. But then I started to get embarrassed
because of course, you know, your parents are up there, they say
how much they love you. Youget to talk about all of these things.

(01:49):
And it always happens with my mombecause my dad will kind of keep
it present. He'll sprinkles some pastedin there, but he's a present tent
speaker. My mom is completely inthe past, like she's bringing up everything,
and not only is she bringing upeverything from a story perspective, she's
bringing up everything physically. So notonly is she speaking, but she's bringing
poster boards, she's bringing old fathands from old places. She had a

(02:15):
newspaper article from like nineteen ninety five. You mean all these things that I
took pictures of? To me thatphotographic? Yeah yeah, what in your
comp car? Did you model aftersomething that was like a haad shot or
something? Yeah, obviously I don'tthink I got the roll. That shot
was ridiculous. Do you get Youget embarrassed though, when your mom does

(02:37):
this and she she's so proud ofyou, like she brings this stuff out.
It's more annoying than anything. Butyeah, why are you walking around
with poster boards, old head shotsand newspapers? Like where do we do
it? Do you ever like rememberdays when your mom would show up at
your events, like did you playbaseball? Little league baseball? And stuff
like was your mom that mom atthe little league game? My mom used

(02:59):
to the thing my mom used togo. My mom used to turn up
when I was in middle school.Okay, mom, she used to limos
randomly, like just for random reasons. And she used to let all the
kids come outside and sit in thecar. And she used to have these
suckers that used to it was likethe greatest suckers all the time. She
used to pass those out like sheused to go crazy in middle school.
Really she was eight four four MojoLive eight four four six six five six

(03:22):
five four eight. I think everykid has been, at one point in
their life embarrassed by something that theirmom or dad did at one of their
like little League games or like ayou know, uh, you know,
kids parties and things like that.COV's discussing his mom, and I think
it's hysterically funny that your mom pulledin with all that stuff. She pulled

(03:43):
out all those pictures. Here sheis by the way, she's on the
she's making another parents on the showtoday. We're gonna have to put you
on payroll. Kevin. You forgotto tell them about the black bar mitzvah
that I gave you at the SaintRegions. Wait a second, Hold on
a second. You had a blackbar mitzvah an African band African dancers.

(04:10):
Uh. He was serenaded as hewas with his on at this party.
She anointed him at this party. But he had a huge festive affair at
thirteen. You know, it wasembarrassed about that day. He was a
top show host at twelve with YouthTalk with the royal family and his sister
was co host. Kevin has donemany things. Here we go, I

(04:35):
love you, I love you somuch. Yeah, we throw black bar.
Miss. When I was thirteen popping, everybody put a What was embarrassing
about that day is my mom woresomething that was like see through. I
know you did not. I swearto God, you dead. You got
it. I'm gonna go get thempictures today. Mom, you showed off
the beauties. Huh oh. Itwas a see through l against African outfits

(05:01):
that everybody loved. I had twosweets for Kevin, the girl's side and
the boys side. His whole classwas invited to spend the night. Kevin
has been a royal person in hislife. He was called Prince Kevin.
That's right, Chicken. God,I'm telling you, he doesn't he doesn't

(05:24):
understand that. He doesn't understand howlucky he is. If my mom were
alive, I'd be enjoying every minuteof this, Kevin. I just wish
my dad would. Yeah, andMegan's dad is alive. She just can't
get him to say, sit atthe table going. I wish anybody loved
us as much as their entire familyloved them. You know, we got

(05:46):
home in West Coast. I neednew children and new friends. I'm very
blessed for sure. Mom. Hedoesn't know what he's got. You know,
he knows it, but he's sohumble. Here's the thing, Maybe
you could you do me a favor. I'll give you a bunch of my
old pictures that I have at home. Will you just carry him around like
you're my mother when I I willcarry him around? And I love you

(06:13):
so dearly Mojo, I really do. Sincerely, I'm gonna I'm gonna introduce
you to everybody. I would say, I would like you to meet my
mom. You're gonna show up there, They're gonna go. He was adopted.
By the way, the idea thatyou had a black bar mitzvah is
the most fun interesting And are youreally I just said I just thought of

(06:33):
that? Is that is hysterically funny? Yeah, Kevin's first birthday was at
McDonald's and I had the teenage NinjaMunich Newtant Ninja Turtles there. Yeah,
and Kevin cried. Kevin cried likea little Cherrill Journey cried. When they
said surprise, Kevin did the exactsame thing By the way, it was

(06:56):
funny keV walks into the room withCherrelle in Journey and Journey just it's the
first time I ever saw Journey cry. She was so startled by everybody screaming
out surprised. Hey, A listenerjust texting and asked, is there any
way that Kev's mom still has thatdress in would she wear it to our
Mojo's Hotel hook up party? Well, unfortunately, I don't still have the

(07:20):
dress. I had a house fire. Oh geez the year I just got
back in my home. But thatdress was destroyed. That's awesome, and
I would have worn it might havebeen a little tighter. My favorite.
By the way, can I tellyou the funniest was you were not there
yet. You were, you know, with Josiah getting him ready for the

(07:41):
party and in Journey, but youwere not there. And Shannon started walking
up to every old black woman thatwas at that party. She was Kev's
mom. No, okay, letme tell you what really happened. That
is partly true. There was therewas a table next to us, and
it had two older black women andI, you know who, you're sitting

(08:03):
in the corner, and I heardone of them start speaking, and I
said to the nuggin or is itto Zach, I go, oh,
that's got to be Kev's mom, because I had never met you before.
And then the other woman started totalk and she looked a little older too,
and I said, oh, that'sgot to be Kev's grandma. His
grandma came, which is amazing becauseI know she's ill. So I walked
over and I said, you mustbecause mom and Grandma they both gave me

(08:24):
the death stare and they're like,we're his aunties. Wanted to go home
and sale aires they my grandma's sisters. Stupid. I wanted to die.
By the way, what your auntdid with you when she put her hands

(08:46):
on you and she prayed with you. I thought that was honestly one of
the most heartwarming. You could geta million dollars as a birthday gift.
That was better than any gift youcould ever geta She's amazing. Hey,
this guy doesn't understand how good hehas it, and it's like the movie
It's a wonderful life. He needsto not he needs to have it all

(09:07):
taken away so he can see whathis life looks like if he wasn't you
know listen, Kevin was the youngestto graduate from Sex Hour, Kevin the
youngest graspects Howard, look at you. Yeah, yes, he's Here's what
I want to do. I wantyou to be our mother since he doesn't

(09:31):

too, and thank you for acceptingme as you guys. Mother. Thank
you so much. Thank you.We do yeah, exactly. And she's
proud of us too, isn't thatamazing? Try am very proud of you
guys. All right, we'll talkto you later. Take care of yourself,

(09:54):
all right. The look on Kevin'sface when either I say hey,
Kev's mom on the phone, oror when you when your mom even you
kind of got this way. WhenI got up there, you looked you
look like you didn't even want meto say anything. I think I was
over everybody speaking. It turned intolike this forty five minute graduation setup,

(10:16):
like look, can we just eatit? He's like, get like,
